I would not recommend this hotel unless you’re willing to shell out money to climb the ranks. We booked a simple suite for the night but you get what you pay for.
1. The staff are disorganized. We called and attempted to check in several times and never got the same answer. It took hours for our room to be available and by the time it was, it was too late.
2. If you want an immediate answer, don’t try to call. You’ll be waiting awhile to get an answer or be placed on hold and forgotten.
3. Our “clean” room was not clean at all. The toilet was filthy, the floor sandy, the shower head coming out of the wall, the room had a musky smell, and we found many mysterious stains.
4. If you book a room in building one, be prepared for paper thin walls. We could hear our neighbors as if they were in the room with us.
5. If you have a complaint, good luck getting it resolved. Our neighbors had been loud and disruptive since 4am. We tried to reason with them and they did not stop. So we called the front desk, again waited minutes for someone to answer. They told us at checkout that no noises were heard and the room we were complaining about denied it. Instead of being accommodating or courteous, the manager dismissed our complaints and made us feel worthless.
This hotel is classist. I’m sure they treat you better if you shell out more dough. That’s not how customer service should be. Every customer should be treated equally and you should want to make us feel comfortable. It’s disappointing and shameful. The resort on the outside looks better than it does on the inside. I would not recommend this place unless you just don’t care about hospitality.
