Absolutely horrendous. Just pulled out from a 4 night stay. On night 2, thanksgiving, the breaker in the breaker box outside blew leaving us with 1 leg of power, and taking my fridge out. We called and was told by security that there was nothing they could do, there’s no on call maintenance, and we would have to wait to the morning. Thank god my husband is an electrician and swapped out the breaker. When we contacted the office the next morning, they gave us a hard time for doing that and told us we should have moved, which was not an option that was even given to us to get through the night. When I asked how they would make this right, they told us there was nothing they could do because 2 supervisors, maintenance and front office, don’t have that authority. I asked for the manager then and low and behold, on a Friday, of a holiday weekend, there’s no management until Monday. I got an attitude from the guard at the gate on Saturday morning because I didn’t have my id with me and was literally driving around the other side of the gate to pick up my sons birthday cake that was being delivered, that the guard could watch me the entire time, and today, checkout is at 11, they cut your cards to the bathhouse before 10 leaving you without access to showers or toilets. We will not be back, nor will the 5 other families we were there with. I paid $400 and got absolutely nothing but aggravation. I get covid, but why charge full price when we had pool time 2 of the 5 days, and no other amenities… oh and no maintenance?
