The rooms are awesome! Desk staff was super friendly! Parking was a bit cramped but that’s the only negative we encountered!

We love this condo! It is our most favorite place to stay. They always accommodate us and make us feel at home. The rooms are very clean and we love that we can fish anytime! They have a heated pool which is great!

Super friendly staff, 3 hotels to bounce around from, great beach access and free beer and wine happy hour. We also listened to the dolphins this morning at sunrise off our terrace. Very beautiful. Love the 50’s theme and ambiance.

Outstanding views, friendly staff, close to anything you'll need. Rooms are large and kitchens are well stocked with plates silverware and pots.

Had a great 2 night stay for thr St. Pete beach bike fest. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff always check to see if we needed anything. Also the bird was on our balcony and even ate off of my spoon.

Pros about this place: Staff were amazing and the place was nice. Convenient to everything. My husband loves to fish so he was able to do it off of the docks.
Cons: parking was terrible, so hard to get out in traffic. Nice peaceful place until we had a bunch of — Puerto Rican families show up on Saturday night! They came in and just took everything over. We were sitting outside and all you could hear was their music and them trying to talk to each other over the music from one end of the dock to the other. Instead of turning the music down they just got louder. I come back on Sunday morning after my walk on the beach. I walk back to my room and they have totally taken over everything. There was no where to sit, no room in the pool and they were playing music loud. Very disappointed when you can’t even sit outside and enjoy what you have paid for.
I love this place but after this I won’t be coming back here. I will make sure I get a room that has a private balcony or private dock that I can enjoy.

The staff, hospitality, housekeeping, to maintence is absolutely amazing. The Gulf views & the bayview is absolutely amazing. You will not be disappointed!

Was an overall great stay, I have gone to this area 3 times already. I do have some suggestions I stayed in the Bay Palms Resort in room 108 and I was by myself and had two beds which was not necessary and also there is a door to the adjacent room and it can be quite loud depending on your neighboring occupant. And I don't know if the door on 107 has an issue but they slammed the door constantly as they came and went. The maintenance up keep on the rooms could be better, The cleanliness was outstanding just minor details on the room need to be looked into. Also A resort fee I was charged and have no clue why, plus I was charged $40 for that and over heard someone getting charged $12 as I was going to the lobby door. Though I like this area and hotel there are some minor things that should be looked into. Overall my stay was great.

We live local and stayed at the waterfront hotel for a weekend staycation. I loved it! The beachfront one is nice too. Very clean room, quiet, comfortable beds/pillows and right on the water. The best staff, hands down … customer service A+. Everyone there smiles, are incredibly helpful, and welcoming! We will be back! One small warning, the parking lot for the waterfront one is small. We had our F150 and it was a tight fit. If you have a truck or large SUV don’t bring it.

We made a last minute decision to spend the weekend at the beach! And we scored on this little gem of a property! Clean, updated and spacious suite! We were harbour side and loved the outdoor space for the kids. If you have a dog they have a cute little play area for them too. The docks and pools were clean and done up with cute market lights tiki type picnic tables and a comfy hammock! We had a great time! Didn’t rate it a 5 only because our door was really difficult to get into to. The kids couldn’t open it at all and we had to use a bit of muscle to push it open and we had to call to get fresh towels even after we sent a request. No biggie though. Other than that. We LOVED it! It’s really a great place and we will be making it out go to spot for St Pete beach!

Rooms were small yet clean. Staff was nice. We had a HORRIBLE experience with a group of other guests. They took over the entire pool and marina all day. Took up 3 times the parking spaces they were allowed. Woken up at 2am because they had clogged their toilets up. They broke the microwave as well so it was being replaced in the morning. They overcrowded the rooms they did pay for. They parked in the handicap parking even though they were not handicapped nor did they have stickers for it. Staff spoke to then several times and yet still allowed it to continue. Apologizing is nice but they knew what was going on from many other guests as well as their own experience with them. Made several other groups miserable and uncomfortable as well as us.

Great location, pets allowed, beautiful rooms, eco friendly, charging for electric vehicles. Absolutely perfect!

Was our 5th stay there and we hope not our last. Only thing that could be better are the sleeping couches. Please renew them. Thx. Lovely place!

A little small but quite clean and with a surprising implement of kitchenware. The room smelled great when we arrived! A fair bit of it looked new-ish, which was excellent, with the exception of the tub/shower which seriously needs an update. The shower curtain also clearly needs replacing. Other than that, the balcony for our room was sizeable and had a gorgeous view of the bay (although through no fault of the hotel it smelled a little dank and fishy whenever we sat out there). As an eco-resort they do not have daily cleaning and towel/linen replacement. We were personally a huge fan of this and are thrilled that the resort is trying to do what they can to reduce their impact on the environment! However, guests should be aware of this before booking in case they care little for the environment and prefer excessive pampering instead. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful and they made our stay enjoyable.

My family loves to stay at this hotel every year. The owners Chris and Robert are always so friendly and kind to my family. They have 2 great fishing docks right on the bay water, a pool, an outdoor chess board and a gated area for pets. YES, It is one of the few hotels that are pet friendly. You can also drive your boat up to the hotel and stay the night if you would like too. If you want to hit the beach it is right across the street, so it makes for a great location.

My room was small but I think other's are bigger. Price seemed high but it is high season. A little mildew smell by the bed. The view was nice and people enjoyed fishing. Pet friendly!

Room was clean, bed was extremely uncomfortable. The covers on the bed were like 2 sheets then a thicker sheet on top of it. The room was extremely humid which made it hard to sleep. The bathroom was tiny. The staff was polite and welcoming.

Over 3 stars is too high (current rating = 4.2) at least for the "Bayview" properties. I would give it 3 stars but had to give it only 2 to counteract all the 5 star ratings. The bay side properties feel a bit abandoned. If you want a cup of coffee in the morning or "happy hour" in the evening, you need to walk down the street to the gulf side property. I can only speak about our room but while it was clean enough, its not a "4 star" hotel. If you're not spending a lot of money for the room, it will feel ok.

Cool location on an inlet and across the street from the beach. Hotel itself isn't very impressive for the price and I surely wouldn't group it with 3 star names like DoubleTree as Priceline did. Other than that, very nice people, clean room, family owned establishment.

We loved our room, most specifically the relaxing view of the bay out the back windows. The staff were great on the phone before our visit and during our stay. This is our second stay at Bayview and we will be back!

Based on our two night trip. One of the trash cans in our room was completely full, a medium sized box was left outside full of cigarette butts and trash that smelled. The floors in the kitchen were black and we bought cleaner and thoroughly cleaned the whole entire place. (The towels were literally pitch black after we cleaned the room) including a moldy shower. We had three separate instances where someone at night or early morning were banging upstairs on doors. To include opening and closing drawers. Including slamming them shut also the maids tried to break into our room the last morning of our stay around 0800 (sounded like someone picking our locks) we barely got any sleep because this happened right during our peak sleeping hours. The bedding was very thin, and we only had three pillows total. The Air Conditioning unit barely worked so I guess that made up for thin blankets.

My wife and I have been coming to the Bayview Plaza Resort for years. We haven't had a bad experience yet. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. Everything is right is walking distance, once there we seldom drive anywhere. We enjoy the docks the most. Fishing is good and you can see all kinds of animals (water and land). We just left in May and already have reservation for next year. Looking forward to it.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite, Beautiful and clean. Plenty things close by and would definitely recommend and stay there again ❤️

Beautiful hotel, nice people that work there. Remember to put the do not disturb on the door and get a cabana ahead of time for the pool.

Great value for the price. We love staying at the bayview plaza, with a room facing the bay. We've stayed there several times. It's peaceful and fun to sit out back (plenty of spaces) and watch the birds and flying fish! The place on the beach is literally just across the street, so that is convenient, too. Pharmacy and grocery are within easy walking distance. I did not give it a 5-star rating because of all the smokers who stay there. It would be great if they banned smoking completely, not just in (some of? ) the rooms.

We stayed here for a week in the second floor king. The view from the room and balcony was great! On the water there were 2 decks that you could fish off of if you like. The beach was right across the street which my wife and I would go to view the sunset every day. The staff was helpful and would check in by text message every couple of days.

I highly recommend that you check with the resort if you book through a third party to MAKE SURE YOU'RE GETTING WHAT YOU'RE EXPECTING AND PAYING FOR! They'll beat third party rates, it's their policy. Don't make the same mistake we did! What we actually had booked was a queen suite with balcony, what we got was a double efficiency no balcony. We did get upgraded to the penthouse but only for two nights of our stay. We then had to move back to the double efficiency no balcony room.

This is my 3rd stay at this great place and bet it will Not be my last! Whether traveling alone or with the family — Always enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere at the Bay where Dolphins and Manatees can Show up. Nice and clean rooms and only a few people around as the surrounding is a private area with no other Hotels at the Bay. Glad I found this true little Gem.

Small boutique resort but with a lot of personal touches. We were a little worried at the beginning of stay that it would be too quiet for us. We ended up having a great and relaxing vacation. We definitely plan to come back. Near the beach with restaurants and shopping close by. It is not a fancy resort but has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the beach. Free Wi-Fi that works which is not always the case at a high rise resort. Free Parking — One parking spot per room.

Good rooms good management.

We wanted a small, homey motel that was close to the beach, but affordable. We hadn't made reservations & stopped in at the Plaza Beach Hotel; they were completely booked, but had their other hotel across the street the Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort. It was absolutely perfect with a complete kitchen & access to a dock right outside the back door. The room was clean, spacious, & suited our needs perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly, informative, & accommodating. Our only regret is that our time was limited & we only were able to stay for one night.

I would like to say that we had a wonderful stay at Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort. We loved the room and the privacy in it's self. Everything was close by within walking distance. We wish we could have stayed longer so we could have enjoyed the view and the balcony. All night long I dreamed of making Love that's how beautiful the setting was. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again if the price is right but this time we will stay Friday till Monday morning check out. Sincerely yours, Ariosto.

We would highly recommend The Bayview Plaza. Our room was more than comfortable with the small kitchenette. The staff from the time that we checked in all the way through our 4 day stay could not have been more pleasant or helpful. A unique boutique hotel that has earned our repeat business.

I took my stepdaughter and granddaughter (9) to St. Pete and we stayed at the Bayview Resort. It was conveniently located to everything, and we could enjoy the amenities at their other property. We fixed breakfast in our room every day since there was a full kitchen available. My room was a little small, but Melissa's had a living room area where we watched TV in the evening. We found the staff to be exceedingly friendly and helpful. The week definitely went by too quickly. I would definitely recommend this property.

A friend recommended this place so we decided to visit for an overnight stay last week. It was a beautiful place. The rooms are excellent and the beach and quay are idyllic. I would happily have stayed there longer but we had to go back to our place in Kissimmee Will definitely return.

Just returned from a 5 day/4 night excursion to the St. Pete area. I was travelling with my family that included myself, my wife and my 2 youngest sons. My oldest son and his girlfriend also made the trip but they stayed at a different location. When booking the trip we mistakenly used Trip Adviser to base our lodging choice. The Bayview Plaza Waterfront 'Resort' was a disappointment. Although the people in the office were great, the accommodations were not what we had hoped for. Let me start with the room itself. The 2 sons that were traveling with us are big kids (6'4" and 6'2") The beds that we had in our room were double beds that were probably in the room since the mid 80's and our kids simply didn't fit. When we attempted to use the pull out sofa there was absolutely no room to maneuver around the room. I can honestly say that this was the smallest 'efficiency' hotel room that I have ever seen. Our mistake for not being more diligent in looking for a nice place to stay. The bathroom in our room was much like those on a cruise ship. Small and uncomfortable. It was pretty obvious to me that the room that we were staying had the bathroom added as an afterthought. When I was in the shower (we had hot water *most* of the time although there were 2 mornings were we took warm showers) I could not face the shower head as the shower area was too narrow. I'm not a bit guy (6'2", 190 pounds) and I can't imagine what it was like for my larger son.

We found this hotel last minute and were very surprised at how nice it was. We had a large patio overlooking the canal where we enjoyed watching a couple of dolphins frolic. The room and the grounds were very clean and well kept. It was an easy walk across the street to the beach. Our room had a small but complete kitchen. The bathroom was tiny with a shower only, but very nicely updated. I would return to the Bayview Plaza if I make a return trip to that area.

We loved this hotel/motel. It was small, but clean and well maintained. We loved being by the waterfront. We do wish that it still had a hot tub, but that's okay. We still had a great time. It was in a very good location close to so many restaurants. It definitely was a great value for what we needed, a modest, clean, well-maintained place to sleep. It even had a small kitchen. I highly recommend it if you're looking to stay on a budget.
