Very accommodating with letting us check in early — we were coming from another hotel so arrived around noon. We were in our room by 1 or so. Literally steps from the boardwalk and beach. They have beach towels available at the front desk. Our room looked nothing like the pictures — it was very dark and almost dungeon-like. Fithy Hotel, Stayed here in Feb 2021, room was dirty with sand, the tables were not clean, bathrooms had hair, the restaurant on a monday night play music till 2 am, the staff is rude, cheap dirty place.

Accidentally booked a 4 days stay. 20 minutes after booking I called to cancel. They ignored every email and call for 72 hours until it was the day of the reservation and then told me it’s too late to cancel.

Terrible customer service. We had an issue during a recent trip and tried to reach a manager on several different occasions during our stay and she was unavailable. Then we tried calling and were hung up on. Would not recommend this place!

I love this hotel great location and experience.

A fun place to stay with reasonable prices. They have some large rooms that sleep up to six people which is perfect for before our girls' cruise!

This hotel is not safe. Look at the reviews o. TripAdvisor. Moreover, you see the management trying to explain away the problems. T.
You have been warned, this place is not good and they run out of everything: towels, beach towels, beach chairs, ice, air conditioning (really? ), hot water (common guys). What a joke. Welp, the joke is on me because I paid. Never again, you guys suck. Hollywood FL has way better places than this one… Save your money!

Hurricane Dorian was set to hit. Hotel refused to refund my money even though the airline refunded no questions asked. I was not about to bring my child into the eye of a hurricane. ESP after the Gov. Declared a state of emergency. The hotel was rude and unwilling to budge. They are thieves. I have filed a case with the BBB! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! Plus see photos of the hotel saying they are refunding peoples money as safety is their first priority LIES!

What a wonderful experience and customer service provided I had at my stay and vacation here with my boyfriend this past week. We requested early check in at 10am which I know is hard to get at times but they managed to get that ready for us on time! Our bed was so comfy and room service was helpful, although I don’t speak Spanish we still managed to translate a few things and followed my requests. Our suite was just steps away from the Boardwalk and beach and our view was beautiful. They upgraded our room to a balcony when we didn’t even ask for one which was a plus! My boyfriend and I was highly pleased with my stay here! We will definetely come back here to stay when we vacation here again sometime!

Very disappointed with rooms and staff.

The location is amazing. Half a block to the beach. Free bike rentals, surf boards, towels was amazing! Little patio sets set up throughout the property you can chill at. Coffee and ice water available all the time. Nikko at front desk was the nicest person! So helpful with everything with a very welcoming personality. The only reason I didn’t give this place a 5 star because room B1 has a very strong damp smell that was hard to ignore. If someone could find the source to that, could be an easy fix. Also if your booking there and want to have an early night, make sure you request a room away from the bar that’s attached to the building. However, we enjoyed the bar from the other side of the wall!

The suits are nice but they could be cleaner. And the air conditioner is not adjustable, so if you are from Europe it is very cold. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach and restaurants and bars are in walking distance. If I could I would rate with 3.5 stars.

This place is great take it from someone who lived here for 12 years I. Hollywood and now visit. Dont let the word "hostel" fool you. The rooms are super clean modern. You walk 2 min to beach. Adjacent to taco shack who offer music. The front desk is great and as far as food please! Walk on the beach there's an endless selection. If you want to spend your $$ on a hotel room you'll never be in by no means walk to the Marriott and pay 300$ a night. I spent 69$ per night and walked to the Marriott anyway and enjoyed my saved funds on entertainment food shopping! Went back to my cozy hotel room with free bikes and seats for the beach and loved every penny I saved to experience the beach not a hotel room!

This hotel/ hostel has a variety of good deals, the best deal rooms have a taco bar / DJ next door (less than 3 feet away) and if your noise sensitive might not work for you. Rooms are semi modern with great TVs. One block from the beach. Free bike rentals. On a budget check them out.

This place is quite the hidden gem. Rooms are late and accommodating. They include a mini fridge, microwave, dinnerware, tables, and couches. They have beach towels and beach chairs you can borrow for free. It's a 30 second walk to the beach, with lots of good food options nearby but no grocery store nearby. Staff was always courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and rather spacious. Fantastic location near the beach. The only drawback I have with the place is that I was not aware there was a $10 parking fee for a vehicle. And that you could only buy one spot. It turned the great deal I thought I was getting on a room into an extra $35 to park overnight.

Great price. VERY nice/clean rooms. Ocean is just a block away. I am DEFINITELY coming back for a vacation getaway again. Plus there’s a great taco place, Taco Beach Shack right next door with great food and music!

We stayed here at the end of our vacation in April and the first room they had us go in smelled of low tide and sewage so we asked for another room before we even put anything down, second room they had for us was the detached room off the front which was a little cleaner but still had gum stuck to the wall walking into the bedroom. When I awoke the next morning the car next to our had the window smashed out so that was rather comforting. Great location but the place was not that great and if you try to use the bikes too early I was was told the person with the key would be right back but they were still locked up when we checked out.

My husband and I travel on one vacation a year and we unfortunately booked this hotel to end the last night of our vacation (to accommodate an early flight). I say unfortunately simply because it was an awful experience… I thought it was harmless that our room (bathroom and bedroom specifically) abutted the Taco Shack out back, but was I in for a treat! We were forced to listen to incredibly LOUD bass and the repetitive beats of the local DJ until 2AM… Come to find out, we actually were literally right next to the DJ booth! In all honesty, I am still young enough to appreciate music and people having a good time, but the entire room echoed and the walls vibrated until the wee hours of the morning. Not getting any sleep was the worst way to end a vacation. To make matters worse, we called the office several times to inquire about the music, but were told that it would turn off at 11PM. Obviously we called back after 11PM and the line went dead after several rings, with no option to leave a voicemail. I am going to take a guess that they assume people that call after that time are inquiring about the ruckus out back (and don’t necessarily pick up). It would have been nice to at least have been given the heads-up or the option to have another room (from the start), especially if we weren’t planning to rage hard ALL NIGHT!

Do you like muffled music and slamming bass while you try to sleep? Well, this is the place for you! The room was right next to their Restaurant (Taco Beach Shack), owned by the same company that owns Hollywood Beach Suites + Hotel. The restaurant pumped music straight up until 2:15AM, even though the staff will tell you that it stops at 11PM. They must know that people complain about this, because the hotel lobby staff dips out at 11PM knowing that this is a constant issue… and they will not have to hear it. When we tried to call back at around 11:30PM, it just rang and rang and eventually hung up, no option to leave a message. After an incredibly lousy night sleep due to bass thumping hard enough to vibrate the walls, I tried to voice my concerns to the front desk staff, but he seemed like he could not have cared less and never heard of the issue. Well, the reviews beg to differ and I found a few on various sites while I was staring at the ceiling the night before checkout and our flight back home. Aside from the bone shaking music volume, the hotel room was not very clean. For example, the shower was dirty and walls had odd stains and I think the last time the windows were cleaned was when they put them in. Oh yeah, and after voicing the issues to the front desk staff, he gave me a card to the manager while simultaneously offered a nothing can be done here. Well, save yourself the time because that manager cared about as much as the front desk staff.

This place has been great. A very short 30 second walk to the sand and the beds were very comfy. Prices are competitive. Right next to a great restaurant and practically on the boardwalk. Maids hit the place around 2 everyday and we always have fresh towels. A. C. Is super strong so no worries there. Dish network. Plenty of outlets to charge/run stuff. Shower is nice. Free Wi-Fi with a good signal.

Adjacent to my "room" was a balcony open to guests with a table and chairs. Obviously, what had to happen happened, 5-6 guests brought their portable speaker, drinks and threw a party. I checked out literally 3 hours after I checked in. If you are looking for a place to sleep, I suggest that you consider other options, because 1) the layout of this hotel is made for parties, 2) it's considered cheap for the Miami — Fort Lauderdale area, and chances are high that you end up being neighbour with the low budget party goers of the world. The location is great though, right next to the beach, and the receptionist was nice. But beside the layout problem, the room was tiny and so basic. I stay in hotels all the time for work (I travel roughly 3 weeks a month), and the room reminded of my 4 years travelling to third world countries. Conclusion: decent place for low cost budgets that want to go to beach and party at night, forget about it if you are looking for a quiet place where you can rest (which is what I guess most people expect from a hotel).

I want to make sure people understand what is this place about because the reviews I read before scared at first. I got my room from airbnb and Keithy was nice and helpful. You can find their rooms from different web sites and that will make all the differences. If you're looking for a 5*hotel do not stay there. It's a old building but it's clean, has a pool and a Jacuzzi. If you are in a budget this is the right place and do not complain because they can give all the basic you need. The room was clean, organize and they had housekeepers everyday. You can find families staying there, young people and couples, just like any other hotel. The area is great! At the side walk you have all kind of restaurants and bars, we could even hear the music at night from our room. The beach is calm and clean and it's just on walk distance. I would probably stay there again.

I stayed here from Friday-Monday, I was a GREAT weekend. I stayed in a bigger room, it was very cute. It's not really up to date but it was still a great stay, and you cannot beat the location. The staff was pretty good as well. Parking is kind crazy, it's cheap compared to other places but $10 a night and it's not even for sure parking is kind of crazy. BUT I still loved this place and would 10000000% stay again!

Staff was very sweet, beautiful location, newly updated rooms which were very comfortable and the Taco Bar just steps away has great food, drinks, and live entertainment.

Great place. Excellent location for Hollywood boardwalk for the price. Rooms are clean. Good service. TV channels suck. No pool. Good hangout or smoking areas. Nice room furniture.

Rooms are of decent size. Modern furniture gives it a nice cozy yet fashionable look and feel. Cons — cable went out during my stay. We only had 2 channels. No vending machine. No pool. More like a hostel less like a hotel. It's OK for quick stays but nothing longer than 3 days.

Place is great! Clean, comfortable bed. Bathroom a little small but very great conditions. Hotel is literraly few step from the beach! That's a plus. Also step from lots of bar and restaurants. Definitely will recommend this place and also will come to stay.

Second floor rooms very noisy (you hear everything that happens in the adjoining room), very small rooms with little comfort (there is no place to store clothes). Super uncomfortable shower (the curtain sticks to you how narrow it is) … definitely Tryp Advaisor was wrong to Recomendármelo.

Excellent place, next to the beach and a good restaurant bar to have fun.

While everybody is trying to help victim of the hurricane. These people are taking advantage of us. This is a hardship for everyone. We checked in Thursday night. We only stay for one night. At the check out we were promised that we will get charged for only one day. When I check my credit card they charged me for the whole three nights. The man I spoke too was very rude and didn't even try to help us. I was one of the victim of Irma and you are taking advantage of me. This is a time for help not a time to rob people.

Stayed in the "two peas in a pod room in early May and it was a great experience. Employees were polite and helpful. Room was clean and loved the simple but modern decor. There is a restaurant/bar right next door (taco beach shack). It is like a block away from the boardwalk (1-2 minute walk). You have easy access to all the restaurants and bars there. The beach is clean, not super crowded, and free!

Top location. Close to the beach. The free beach towels and bicycles are also great. The taco load around the corner has super delicious food. Room is OK. Spacious and clean.
Our room neighbours were terribly loud. Rooms are very light hearing. Would this hotel not book again but would look for something quieter. Were two years ago already on Hollywood beach in another hotel which was now unfortunately fully booked. We liked better personally.
For people who like to party and who don't mind loud music until late at night, this hotel is definitely a good choice.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is great only steps from boardwalk/beach. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the AC wall unit was broken in the master bedroom. They put had a portable unit on wheels with a vent to the outside through an open window with cardboard sealing the gap. I complained and was told it would be corrected but never was. The portable unit was too loud to run at night and wasn't working properly. Luckily the wall unit in the front room worked and kept the place cool enough. Also the taco shack may be loud until 2am. Wouldnt have been too bad if the bedroom window could be closed. But because of AC rigged up the way it was we heard everything outside. We would stay again though. BTW the taco shack was tasty too.

Excellent weekend stay! This is the perfect place for family accommodations. Stayed in the 'More the Merrier' suit that sleeps 6 people. Price was great too!

My family and I went on a road trip, and we were just winging it. We wanted an affordable place on the beach with convenient parking. This place did the trick. (If you're looking for a glamorous resort, this is not it. ) Parking cost $10 but it was super convenient (great for people like me who absolutely despise valet parking). This place was a much cheaper option compared to hotels in Miami… but with essentially the same beach! We planned on spending most of our time outside anyway. Friendly staff. Our room was clean and updated but kind of dark and a little claustrophobic. A perfume/cleaning smell was lingering in the air, which I wasn't too keen on. I liked the community atmosphere. The free bike rental was awesome; we rented the bikes in the evening and rode up and down the beach. It was also great to check out the community area and to be able to donate some of our leftover food and supplies there, before heading to the airport. (We hate to waste good stuff). Again, loved the community feel. This place is not just a hostel; my family stayed in a suite. There are apparently more regular hotel rooms as well.

Just checked in to the Hostel section, and this far I love it. Clean, modern, friendly, great location, awesome facilities… and free coffee! :)

For the price and right next to the beach! This place felt like accommodations worth twice what we paid for! Bed was very comfortable too, and I'm picky when it comes to beds in hotels. Taco shack right around the corner was cheap and the Korean Taco's were awesome! Would definitely stay again.

Really nice little hotel. Rooms are modern. Very close to the beach. Price is amazing considering how close you are to the beach!

Hollywood is the ONLY choice for those looking in the $$ price range. The hotel management went above and beyond to accommodate us. Rooms were clean and fresh, the free 2hr use of beach chairs and bikes were a huge perk. Location was great, lots to do and eat within steps of the rooms. Location was in a safe area, never felt uncomfortable. If you're looking for a 5-star hotel, you'll be disappointed. Hollywood is not a resort, its a launching point with a more than decent place to sleep. Overall great experience!

Horrible night can't sleep until the taco restaurant close, noise and music until 2:30, just open the window of my room and I can talk to server of the restaurant if I want to, the ice machine and the people seem to be in your room, 200$ a day + 100$ for deposit + 10$ by day for parking, not happy at all they just dont care about you and your wellness, please don't take the rooms in the A and B sections unless you come in your room after 2:30 in the morning, it is not all to have a pretty place but having good persons to be carefull of their customers is better, i'm sad about my night there.

Great place. Cozy and clean. L@people@s, are the people friendly and helpful and are continuously looking out for the welfare of travellers and travelers, and the cleaning and care of the place. In my opinion, is like a home. I recommend it sincerely.

Expensive unsafe place, I was there for a week and even tho they told me the place was safe for storing my bike, the second day someone didn't have a problem to go inside and take it, so be aware of your belongings. The staff doesn't have what you call people skills so don't expect much, besides the rooms are not that good nor clean.

Modern, very clean rooms. Comfy beds. Quiet at night. Lovely seating outside of the rooms. Friendly staff. Great housekeeping staff. The bunk beds were great for kids. Short walk to the beach. Food at the Taco Shack was delicious. We'll be back!

Great Hostel. Very clean and a friendly staff. Absolutely recommended. Small, but sweet, and the purpose of fulfilling the room. A Daily Room Service. Borrowable beach utensils such as chairs, balls, surf boards… We would book here again!

As a former hotel owner all I can say is these people are doing dead right, honestly. Firstly their rooms are suoer clean, microwaves, under the bed and baths are cleaned proper. The restaurant has really great food and the servers are amazing. They are friendly, attentivenand like where they work. I have nothing bad to say. A++++

Great rates, spotless room and super-fun amenities — all on the coolest, hippest little corner of Hollywood Beach. I loved it so much that I walked into the office on the first night of my stay and booked the suite for another weekend at the end of the month! :)

This is my first time to Fort Lauderdale and I was hesitant to get a room here because of the price like others have talked about but I saw that they said to definitely give it a try. So I did and I LOVE IT! The room H4 is seriously like I'm staying at a more expensive hotel with a small balcony! I got the room for about 50 dollars a night and I'm a block from the beach. I rented a bike today and it was nice riding around seeing the restaurants around! I love that this beach isn't packed (month of September) and the hotel has a great Taco shack in front and the Korean Pulled Pork Burrito is amazing! I haven't had a vacation and I'm here for two days and so glad I decided to come! Hotel room has been updated, but I'm not sure if all of them have. The one I'm in is great and has a window above the tub and shower which will let me relax and watch the sporadic rain showers here! Definitely staying here in the future! There are also Bikes to rent for free after signing a waver and the employees are ramy nice and let me check in early! Book and come check it out!

Excellent location, nice hotel, the only one is in the cleaning of the bathrooms only once a day of rest is 100% recommended.
