Room was very clean upon check in. Easy to get a room and get settled in. Pool area is beautiful. Breakfast was okay, lunch and dinner was decent. Front desk staff could act a bit more professional in front of guests but they still were helpful when needed. Check out was simple. Overall satisfied with our visit.

This place gets no stars at all. Would not recommend. Came with cruise pkg to the Bahamas. They have no control of tenants. People run up and down the halls at night, let their kids run the halls and scream late at night, people in the courtyard screaming and drinking till late at night. Not a place to get rest. Not a safe environment. Inside or out. Drunks in the smoking area outside. Place is very old lots of obvious electrical issues around the bldg. Looks a little dangerous. Washers and dryers are loud and right close to rooms so people washing at night, and they do, the loud machines will keep you up. The food is horrible. Maids take over the elevators until 530 in the evening so you wait on elevators to go up or down because they are holding them to move their carts and bags of laundry. Poor place to stay.

This place is dirty and outdated! There are stray cats wondering around the property and it doesn’t feel like a safe location. The water was only placed out when the restaurant was open, and they had very weird hours. 7-11, 12-2, 5-10. Their TVs in room are very poor quality and the sound is terrible! The room bathrooms were sketchy and seemed like a dirty gas station bathroom. The stairs smelled musty and like they could be home to rodents. Highly recommend going anywhere but here!

I had to give them 1 star so I could write a review. The place is old and dirty… Watch out for the bugs in your room… Water out of faucet is discolored… I will never stay here again. The staff are like robots, nobody smiles. Go eat at the restaurant. Staff there are great, friendly and awesome service…

This has been one of the worst hotel experiences by far. Toilet paper and towels are not guaranteed, we called and went by front desk for wasted energy and no assistance. Customer service was beyond non existent. The welcome center (especially Laura) was extremely rude and very unprofessional even to the elderly. Roaches in the room. Roaches crawling out of the ice machine. The buffet included a food poisoning like after effect. We arrived with 0 expectations and were still let down. Advice to offer: Bring roach spray, toilet paper, bleach, and know everything yourself because no matter who or what you ask there are no offered answers.

The Ramada Plaza is terrible. Please do yourself a favor do not stay here. The hotel rooms are old and outdated. There are bugs in the food and rooms. We found roaches is the bathroom waste basket. Nats were on the cake. The housekeeping staff are slow and lazy with horrible ghetto attitudes and talk or text on phones while guest are waiting for clean towels. Our room was not properly cleaned, with trash still left in room. I filed a formal complaint with management about these and other issues. w.

Small plush and comfy pillows, with clean and prettier than most half bed — spread, with matching throw pillow, the bed when I sat on the end of it flipped up and after taking a shower the head just drips water. It honestly doesn't look any more different than a Motel 6 inside the rooms and the outside around the windows is dirty. It's my first time staying at a Ramada and my first time in Ft. Lauderdale and I expected more because of the name. I assumed it was more upscale, and especially for a "Resort", but no. The 3 day 2 night part of my cruise package is staying at this hotel and it is not a "resort", and the beginning of our cruise package has me not looking forward to the rest of it. They really should take"resort" out of their name. What a laugh!. As for the buffet, the selection for it was daunting to say the least, but I can say that what they did provide wasn't bad taste wise, I just didn't expect this buffet to be as it was. Waiter and the rest of the staff were very friendly. I will not be booking here again unless its the only hotel available.

Visited this Ramada Hotel and it’s nice. The rooms are decent and staff will provide you with what you need. Rooms in the west wing are about $160 a night but like I said it’s considerably nice and the surrounding area has lots of shops, restaurants, gyms, movie theaters, bike rentals. If you’re in Florida and in this area, this is the hotel I would recommend for you. P. S. They also have complimentary breakfast in the morning between 6am-9am! Delicious!

Not too good. Room 327 had water dripping onto metal sill sounding as a hammer. The TV didn't work. They moved us to top floor. Buffet only a C. No juices. For those you pay extra. The place has not seen update for I guess since it was built. Parking free. The price pretty much explains all this.

Decent hotel. Pretty clean. Clearly old and in need of some love. No bugs that we seen. Cool pool/bar area outside. Hot tub was neon green and not in a good way, clearly needed some maintenance. Staying here to go on the Royal Seas cruise to the Bahamas so we didn't choose, it was included. Food not so good. Deserts were the best part.

I like the hotel and the staff are very friendly try to solve any icon Eniente ❤ ❤ and what I do not like is that the rooms have no refrigerator and I did not like the food… everything else is this very well and super well the cleanliness.

Worst hotel I ever went to in my life! Please if you can avoid going don't go! It's an ideal hotel to film a horror movie. We pricaron fleas on. The room. The rug has a horrible smell! The staff at the front desk is a mess they don't know where the sights are. They do not speak another language Q English. And they're next to the Welcome Center scammers! They are only interested in selling timeshare with Extorsivas maneuvers that is a scam! There is No need to go to the talk. Therefore do not miss a day of your vacation if you were already deceived and bought the package "cheap" offered in the letter of the contract says that the talk is optional. And they push you with a fine or you don't get the last night's Boucher at the hotel. You have to make a fuss and solve it so we did! And if you were already deceived and go to this hotel be prepared for your worst stay in a hotel I recommend bringing insect repellent and some disinfectant!

I was very disappointed by the hotel. Staff was rudely overflowing. Would not book it again.

There were cockroaches. The internet is lousy. No rooms Paea 3 people asi Q we got a double room (we slept. 2. People in. The. Same. 1 and a half square. All floors are carpeted, super dirty. The. Staff never greets. And No. T Help if you need to make a call from. Emergency.

Terrible hotel. To start, workers are extremely rude. We tried extending our stay by a couple days but were refused by the lady upfront for no reason, we knew they weren't full because we prepaid online. The whole place is really tacky, old and falling apart. Water was yellow and AC was dripping all over the floor, which caused the room to smell like mildew. It is in a terrible part of Ft. Lauderdale, cars often get broken into here. They give you a limited amount of free breakfast passes, but still expect you to pay the ppl who seat you and bring you drinks. I'm shocked to see they're charging $115 a night to stay here now. I wouldn't spend over $50 a night.

Spent a couple of nights there before a cruise as part of an extension to keep said cruise from expiring. Not sure why this company would associate their voyages with this property (other than the welcome center) but it's not done for the enjoyment of your vacation. This place is old, outdated, roach infested (literally), mediocre customer service, smelly and overpriced. I only know that it's overpriced because I looked up the prices, as my trip was included in the price of the extension. The customer service wasn't the worst, but no one at the front desk was interested in working there. The dining staff and housekeeping staff were nice and not passive at all like their peers at the front desk. This is why this review isn't about the staff but the hotel. Within the first couple of minutes of entering the room my wife spotted two roaches. The very next morning when I woke up there was a roach on the night stand next to my side starring right at me. Wouldn't stay there again.

Rooms are clean but need renovation. Buffet was good, fresh and offered a nice variety. Snafus at the front desk prevented a higher rating in my book. Nice big pool was well kept.

So we checked in to this hotel and got to our room and the 1st thing we saw was a roach crawling across the headboard. One of us tried to call the front desk to let them know, but got another guests room. She apologized and tried to call the front desk again, but the guest answered it's me again. While that was happening my friend sat down at end of the bed with me and the bed flipped up on us, which I've never seen before. Since we couldn't call the front desk, one of us went down to let the front desk know and they did give us a new room. While the other 2 of us were waiting for the one that went down to the front desk, we noticed there was no fridge or microwave in the room, a hole in the wall, how dirty and poorly painted the place was. Anyways, we got to our new room and we were happier at 1st. There was a bit of a better paint job, a fridge and microwave. The next day we left out of the door in our room that goes out to a patio that leads to the pool and when we came back, the mechanism for the lock fell off, so we couldn't get in with our key. Then we found another bug in the bathroom, but it was not a roach. Maybe I'm trying to be hopeful, but I'm not 100% sure it was a bed bug. Needless to say, we were no longer comfortable, especially since we have a 16 month old with us. I have never given a bad review and I can't say that the staff wasn't very nice, but we will never stay here again.

The place was clean, a bit old but the bad thing was that it. They stole my daughter's clothes when she was in LA. Pool and the managers me. They said it was a public place, with incomes from homeless. Very little serious, and nothing responsible for the. Security. I do not recommend.

This is by far the most disgusting place we have ever stayed in. The carpets are absolutely filthy. It’s stinks like cigarette smoke. The bath tube was yellow. The employees were very rude and nasty. The whole place is infested with Roaches! The ice machine had rodent droppings in the ice and mole on the wall behind it. The welcome center is a joke. When we complained they had the nerve to say we should have researched where we were staying before hand. Not to mention that other people had there belongings stolen from their rooms in the middle of the night. I heard someone trying to get in our room but we had the top latch on so they moved on.

Rooms with a smell of humidity. Lousy cleaning. If you want refrigerator and microwave trains to pay for it, the Wi-Fi doesn't work. Located near a ghetto. Not recommended,

Except for the old rooms everything was great. Service very nice. Buffet has good selection.

It's a nice old hotel, clean, comfortable. No safe deposit boxes, but it's safe. It eats well at a reasonable price. Good for a short stay. The location doesn't help you much.

Just a lovely and adorable Hotel. Set in a nice location with convenient restaurants and stores around it. Has a great restaurant and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms are conveniently located with outside entrance which makes it easy for you to get to your rooms without having to walk all around the hotel. Well this is not a 4-star hotel it is a very comfortable and clean place to stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

Very economical, and therefore you should not expect much. The mattress is lousy. The hygiene of the carpet is doubtful. The furniture is old. The restaurant has no variety and the food is not of good taste.

Very great stay. Pool was clean and well maintained, hot tub was amazing. Tiki bar was open and good service. Rooms a little dated but decently clean and well kept. Included Breakfast is the same every day but enough diversity to get you feed. Dinner buffet needs quite some improvements of the meals. Front desk was very nice, they even agreed to leave our car parked there while we flight out for a week, of course on your own risk. The only downside is the soundproofing. Very loud street noise occasionally and each door slammed or toilet flush will keep you entertained including your neighbor's TV. Other than that we enjoyed it. Thank you.

The hotel is in a pleasantly nice location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely Pleasant and the parking was convenient. I would definitely recommend the hotel. I did not have an opportunity to enjoy their free breakfast but the dining area was huge.

An obviously budget place. A prime example of you get what you pay for. Lots of TLC required. But it's more than adequate for a short stay. The amenities are ok and the location is pretty good too.

This is exactly what it says it is. A 2 star motel. It is old and needs an upgrade only 1 elevator worked and it was for guest and employees. It was faster to take the staires. I had bought a package 2 yrs ago, 6 nights at the Ramada. My husband and I planned a long holiday vacation, going to the Keys and coming back to Ft. Lauderdale. The motel is clean, the staff are friendly and efficient, the pool is good, tiki bar fine, bartender was awesome, beds were comfortable. The buffet was very basic they served the same breakfast everyday and Chicken every night. Nothing wrong with it but my husband and I love fresh seafood so we only ate there twice and we had free meals. The worse part is the location it is in a very busy business area it takes a half hour to get anywhere and the traffic is crazy in that area. This hotel I believe puts up everyone that has bought the holiday cruise package. This package is a SCAM do not do it! We had to sit through 3 presentations and we left early, got tired of the hassle of driving everywhere to do something. Ft. Lauderdale is great I would never stay at this motel and I will never ever do anything with Holiday Cruise Line.

Nice hotel for budget friendly price. Read so many negative reviews after I'd booked and was concerned. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, outdoor area was great. Poolside bar was open. Family member got manicure in hotel salon and was pleased. Hotel was near capacity as people from a cruise were staying there, too. Noise from others was not an issue. Waiting for slow elevator is only complaint. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.

It is a hotel well located, good parking, a place to neat pe very, very old, would have to be reformed in its entirety.

Horrible Hotel. All the furniture, even the elevators are old. Nothing new and innovative. Several of us who stayed have seen cockroaches and felt bad smell in the rooms.
The air conditioners are very old. Not recommended!

Regular, very large, many people, unpleasant smell in the hallways, the staff does not strive to speak in Spanish… leaves a lot to be desired.

This hotel is filthy and needs a make over as soon as possible. The room I was assigned was terrible. It had a musty smell, very dark and gloomy and had only 1 outlet box in the entire room. If you have more than 2 phones one of the lamps had to be unplugged. The furniture in the room had scratches, dents & missing fixtures. It seem to me the furniture was bought used from a garage sale. The front desk staff could be a little more professional. As I was checking in there was a side conversation going about a woman and her stomach problems. Guest should not be witness to that when trying to check in. When I think Ramada Hotels I think of a good brand and this hotel is not holding up it's end of the bargain. They must do better.

Poor cleaning staff.

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. After getting into our room we walked in to be greeted by a Cockroach. We called down and changed our room. Got in the second room and in the middle of the night I saw another cockroach. The buffet that You get free is awful. Food was cold. Not good. We we got here on Wednesday there was a huge pile of bird poop or something on the ledge of the pool. 3 days later it’s still there. Rooms are run down and carpet is nasty dirty.

It was a single day but it was comfortable. Clean rooms and facilities maintained. I would stay again.

Definitely lives up to the description on their site… Straightforward lodging. We ended up staying one night then left for a better hotel. Hotel needs updating and repairs. I did not feel as if it was clean. Our interior door to our room had to be double-checked to be sure it was shut. We got the 2 night stay free though a time share, upon checking in they offered us more incentives, but if this Ramada is where the timeshare puts you up, I have zero interest in returning. I don't mind to pay for a quality room. I will say the staff was friendly.

+ clean rooms, including shower/bath + breakfast includes omelets, potatoes, sausages, French toast, cereal, melon pieces, toast, peanut butter, jam, coffee, lemonade, cola etc. Warning: Juices cost extra.
+ Pool is clean and nicely laid out + personal friendly + — at breakfast dropped every 30 seconds. Securing the two toasters, which a certain service employee then had to insert + — the location (40 min to the beach/to Sawgrass Mills) — Wi-Fi/internet at times far too slow.

Price performance ratio is right, nothing special, but clean. Totally okay for a stopover for a few days.

Our room was clean. The breakfast was delicious and the girls at the reception were very friendly. Unfortunately, we were initially not given vouchers for breakfast, which led to a little discussion the next morning. All in all, a large hotel that gets very crowded when all the cruise ship guests arrive.

Room size is good but it already was. All very busy. Tv has a modest picture at 7 programs. The service is more than poor. Both the housekeeping and desk were unkind. Towels were forgotten but no one wanted to take care after personal talk or several phone calls. On our entire round trip by far the worst hotel! Sorry, however, rather invest more and book other hotel.

The hotel looks nice but lacks customer service. I stayed a few days and found the customer service very unfriendly and rather lazy. The bad customer service started at the front desk where the employee clearly was not paying any attention to my requests. I asked for two twin beds when booking. The employee keep trying to give me a room with a queen bed. Next cleaning my room consisted of making one bed in the room but not the other one. The service in the restaurant was not any better. The so called buffet was the worst I have ever seen and the waitress was very rude. I would not recommend staying there.

Nasty hotel, in a horrendous neighborhood. Good luck dodging muggers! Dirty, smelly rooms. Bathtub faucet leaks (not just a drip), water randomly changes temperature from ice cold to burning hot from one second to the next so good luck taking a shower. It might have a Ft Lauderdale address but is located in the ghetto 30 mins away from anywhere worth going.

Hotel is nice but the breakfast is ridiculous. Never got greeted or served any drinks the entire time. Server was a black lady did not catch her name as she was non existing for us. She was annoyed we sat down and then got even more annoyed we asked for silver ware and made the host do it as she wanted to wipe and clean empty tables. Then never came back except to greet the couple next to us and right in front of us and serve them drinks while we watched knowing we had nothing then never returned again. Worst treatment at a food service place ever.

The misu soup was amazing! Never had anything be so hearty at any other restaurant before! Great ambiance and very nice staff. The Kenji roll was simply the best sushi roll I ever had. I eat a lot of sushi but all in all I never had such a great experience! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They even have fried bananas and they are.

Centrally located near all things you could need during your stay. Rooms are acceptable but lacking in amenities. The service was good dining service was slow at some points and exceptional at others.

Stay AWAY! This hotel is not clean. Most of the people who work there should NOT be in the hospitality business. They are rude, impatient, uneducated, unattractive, and just all around awful people. Especially at the in-house restaurant. I asked an employee in the restaurant what time they closed, and he just responded, "we're closed! " I then asked, well what are you hours so that I know in the future? " He responded again with, "we're closed! " I then asked, "what time do you close? " He said, 10pm. I checked the time. It was 9:50pm. They are also rude in the "Welcome" Center. I asked if I could extend my stay at the hotel, because I had bought a vacation package through the "Welcome" Center. The rude boy at the desk said, "probably not because there are no rooms. " I politely asked if he could check with the front desk if there were possibly any rooms available, he said, "I can check, but I already know what they're going to say. " He finally called the front desk to appease my request, and the hotel did indeed have rooms available. This place is awful. Do not stay there. You're better off sleeping on the street or in your car.

Bed & pillows great very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet crap, no Bacon. Hallways need recarpeting. Smell. Fridge & microwave extra$. Overall good deal for low price.

The worst hotel you can go to. The staff has a very nasty attitude at the front desk, instead of helping you they make the situation worst. On top of that the game room that they have is horrible when you win the game in the arcade and doesn't give the prize you won fare and square. The food they serve for breakfast and dinner is worst than food at McDonald's. Then on top of that their air conditioners don't work in the hotel or the rooms, I had to be moved twice just to be in a room with a working a/c unit.

Very upset with stay. The rooms were not clean, I was moved multiple times until my family just said forget it and excepted the room as is. I was told after booking my stay by an individual that the rooms there are poor quality. However: The front desk personnel were very pleasant and tried to accommodate my requests without hesitation or attitude. The pool area/tiki bar was nice and comfy! Overall just not clean enough rooms for me to sleep comfortable.
