The area is Amazing, the amenities are fabulous and the service wonderful. I LOVE the Mountain Thunder shuttle that takes you anywhere downtown and will also pick you up. Shuttle starts early and operates late.

Our annual company ski weekend brought 44 of us to Mountain Thunder Lodge & we loved it! The large lobby room was a great place for people to gather or hang out and run into each other, the ski lockers and covered parking were great for the activities we participated in. There was an underground tunnel so walking to the gondola quick and easy, and you can ride down the 4 o'clock trail to the back of the lodge! Having rooms with kitchen's was ideal with a mix of families, it gave us all the options needed for a large group! They have a great shuttle that can take you all around and with the walkable location to down town we didn't drive anywhere once we arrived! All staff was friendly and helpful! We will be back for sure:)

It's a little pricey, but having the availability to ski directly to your front door after a long day on the mountain is a fantastic experience.

Excellent Townhouse 2 bedroom 2 bath with a patio to ski out area to peak 7 &, short walk to the gondola, shuttle service available through lodge, conveniently located hot tub. Gas grill located right outside on our patio, but other grills on the property as well. Front desk personnel were extremely helpful and pleasant. Definitely worth the price, nice T-homes.

Came here for a wedding. The ceremony was held out on the patio which made for a beautiful backdrop. The food was good the decor was simple but elegant. The servers were helpful.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a one bedroom on the first floor in Mid-December. They said they were all booked but it was very quiet and peaceful. Great location with a tunnel to walk right under the road to get to Main St. Super convienient. Onsite parking garage under our building with key access. Room was perfect, fireplace in the room is a great touch. The only thing I would say is the pillows are way too soft, we didn’t sleep great but I’m sure it was the altitude :) The front office staff was very helpful and onsite amenities like the hot tub were wonderful!

We stayed in a three bedroom townhome and it was amazing. Completely remodeled and the décor was beautiful. It was a great cozy stay and the kids went sleigh riding and had a snow ball fight in the back yard. Great staff and the shuttle was amazing to take us or pick us up when & where we wanted. The only place we will stay in Breck!

Rooms are big and spacious. Good place for a family vacation.

Attended a company sponsored training, meeting rooms were spacious and food was quite delicious.

Had a great stay there. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Suite was super nice. It was big and roomy with fireplace. They had free shuttle service. So we didn't have to drive anywhere. Had a great time.

This is our 3rd time staying at Mountain Thunder. We've stayed in multiple other lodgings in Breckenridge. None of them even comes close to Mountain Thunder. We rented a townhome this time and are incredibly pleased. Great, clean, and modern. Well built and well worth the cost. Fantastic Location as well.

Great lodge right in the heart of Breckenridge. The rooms have a nice upscale cabin feel, and you have access to a pool and two hot tubs. Walking distance to downtown Breck for eating and shopping, and walking distance to the gondola.

We had our wedding here so we may be partial. The staff was always helpful and the cleaning crew did a great job every day. The ski-in aspect is great at the end of the dating the 4 o'clock run all the way in. The gondola out was a little disappointing because of the somewhat substantial walk from the front of the lodge to the gondola. Not unreasonable, but I would like something shorter in the future. It was nice not getting the noise from town since you're off Main Street. Shuttles had no problem finding us. All-in-all it was great and we will be back!

The accommodations are very nice as is the location. The cons for us were a less the well run experience with the amenities. No towels at the pool one day, the pool and three hot tubs not working another day, and two days with no coffee cups downstairs. This are small things but this property requires a steep premium and did not deliver in the common areas of the resort. An additional note that would be fine in the winter but created some problems in the summer. The property is right above the the gondola and large bus parking lot. As the resort has no AC you must leave the windows open at night. The buses and the traffic can take away from the mountain getaway experience you are looking for.

The location is amazing and the amenities were second to none. Just wish the Murphy bed had been a little less bouncy. I just sat on the edge of the bed and almost bounced my wife right off the other side.

Came right after ski season ended so it wasn't crowded, but still had a snowy experience! The staff were wonderful and they even provide a reusable tote in your room.

Our room was within 3 minutes of the gondola and five minutes from town on foot. Place is really clean and they were nice enough to let us check in early.

This place is a really nice place to stay in Breckenridge. It has a couple pools, 4 hot tubs, and the rooms are really nice. It might seem expensive, but it's right next to the gondola (literally across the street) and you can ski down at the end of the day.

The room is very nice, with a kitchenette and a full sized fridge. It's ski-in but not ski-out, though the directions aren't exactly clear and it's easy to go to the wrong place and have to hike. Service is very good.

Great place to stay in a good location. It is steps from the gondola and you can ski all the way back to it via the snowflake run. Also it's in easy access to downtown.

Great location. Helpful staff. Wonderful place to stay! Right across the street from the gondola and within walking distance of everything else. After a log day of skiing, you can ski right back to the lodge. Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome place to stay in Breck.

Great lodge, best in location. Close to everything. Walk to the gondola or to main street. We stayed during spring break this year (March, 2014). Staff was very attentive and accommodating. We'll definitely be back in 2015.

No amc channel = no breaking bad season finale for me = F. I want a refund.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at the Mountain Thunder Lodge. We, along with our families from all over the world, stayed at the resort. The wedding coordinators were amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well decorated. It's great that they have many options for types of rooms (from townhomes to condos).

Great skiing, and though the rooms were slightly outdated the rooms were comfortable not to mention the beds. and the heated pool with the two jacuzzis was great. The amazing shuttle service that sometimes failed when you forgot the card with there number.
