The ease of getting on and off of the mountain is wonderful. It’s basically a ski in/ski out. The precautions that The Village have put in place to help prevent the spread of Covid is both sensible and doable.

We had an amazing 3 nights here enjoying the views and skiing. Perfect location, we didn’t use our car at all. Minutes to the slopes, which was perfect with two kids in tow. Clean and safe, and helpful and friendly staff! Thank you for a great time!

This location is amazing! It’s so close (walking distance) to pretty much everything you might want to do in breck! The heated parking garage was a MAJOR plus as well!

Abigail was exceptional. We have been coming here over 20 years. Loved the Mountain View. Ski In ski Out and convenience to town is great.

Although I am not there my precious grandchild and her husband are there celebrating their first wedding anniversary. The front desk was amazing, so helpful and recommended an accommodating florist that was able to get flowers there on the day of their anniversary.
It certainly looks like a great place to stay!

This place is awesome! Clean, great customer service, fabulous location, and the condo itself has everything you could possibly want in it.

Great place for the price! Everyone was super nice and helpful… we stay in our room most of our visit because it's just to get away for our anniversary. Everything was excellent in the room. The toilet took a little bit to flush but absolutely would come and stay again and loved every minute!

Wonderful place at interface between town and mountains. Individually owned spacious condominiums. Paddle boarding, fishing, and bubble riding on Maggie pond. Good food at Taddeo's Sauce on the Blue River. Best restaurant views in Breck.

Location is perfect but I have never felt more like some peasant. The website does not state that the pool is for condos only, in all honesty I didn't even know there were different amenities other than size and price of the rooms. We like getting out of Denver and staying the night, I had no idea that my $250 a night didn't include access to a pool or we could have considered a condo or another hotel. It's nice it's clean and the front desk are nice but most definitely treat you different and now I know why. I know it sounds a bit dumb but the entire point of this short trip was so the kids could swim. So the pool wasn't included but feeling like a peasant sure was.

Great staff, great location, but each condo is privately owned and updated (or not) so you never know what you will get. Sometimes you win the jackpot and get granite, nice furniture, nice fixtures. Often you don't. The prices are the same for same size condos regardless of condition. Have been there many times. Have only had to ask to be moved once. They are usually just fine… Or amazing. Bar closes early on weekdays, slow less than friendly service. Valet and front desk are great. Pool is very nice. Location is best in town.

This hotel’s ads are misleading. Bad surprises after we arrived: Pool? Google listing and website says so, but nope. Parking garage? — Yes, but VALET ONLY (Inconvenient when doing a lot of day trips, and wanting to run out to your car and grab something. And valet means that other people have access to all your stuff in your vehicle). Breakfast? — Only in winter. Misleading me usually only gets a 1 star review, but this place is very convenient to the neat shops and restaurants of Breckenridge. Walk right out of the lobby and you’re surrounded by them. Staff is nice, accommodating.

We stayed at the village in one of the condos as an Airbnb. We didn't have much interaction with the staff but the place was clean and comfortable. Love the pool and hot tubs. Great place and great location!

Location is great — especially if on the slopes. Was told we had no access to pool that was promised online. Bathroom was smaller than any motel and bed in room was uncomfortable. Conveniently right next to downtown.

I love the town of Breckenridge! My husband and I visited for an overnight at The Village at Breckenridge. It has a fantastic location! The rooms in other buildings are wonderful. The staff is very nice. However, we were put into the least nice building. Our room was ok, a serviceable room. The view was of the dome above the hallway, and other rooms. I could barely fit into the toilet room. It wasn't terrible, just not overly nice.

Nice place. Been in better. Management was very attentive.

The property is nice and the staff is friendly. If this was anytime other that summer, I'd probably give a higher rating. If you do come in the summer, I hope you can sleep in a sauna. There is no AC! This is common in mountain cabins where you open all the windows at night. Here, you can only crack 2 windows that are right next to each other creating zero airflow. To top it off, a delivery truck pulls up at 130 am to deliver god knows what. Front desk brings me up 2 fans. 1 of which rattles and bounces around. Its 2am. I've been trying to sleep for 2 hrs now. I will not stay here again…

Location is great! If you don’t mind riding all the way down to the Maggie from the mountain to get to your hotel. College kids coming back to their room at 2am was a bummer. Price was acceptable. Bed was very small not very comfortable. Next time if we stay here we will bring our own inflatable matteres.

Cannot be closer to the slopes. Great location. 3 shops to rent skis at your doorstep but Rented large 1 bedroom condo with old dirty uncomfortable unacceptable furniture and carpet. Pullout sofa 20 years old broken and roll away thin unacceptable. Heaters that do not work and hot water and pressure scarce in a 35 year old building. Manager blames the condo owner but they advertise these condos as part of the hotel. Big rooms, great location, very friendly staff but room is unacceptable for $499 per night. Would not stay here again unless guaranteed a new unit. The photos I saw were not these.

Great for a family trip Update, so I am back here this week. This may not apply to everyone, but if you nail your gear to the hotel they cannot or will not get it out of their warehouse on the weekend. I ended up having to rent and borrow equipment today while all my luggage is behind a locked door on premise. When I say all I mean all. Totally living with the clothes I traveled with. The front desk was not helpful, but they were polite, and I believe they were doing the most that was in their power. But you really would expect a resort to have access to their luggage storage at least in Saturday.

We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean. It was relatively quiet around us but the walls do appear to be a bit thin. The bathroom was stocked with above average body wash / shampoo / moisturizer… something by a company called Lather. Room service provided fresh water every day in a couple reusable glass containers — that was very nice. Location is PERFECT if you want to ski or board on peak 9. Overall a great stay!

Location is perfect for getting to the slopes and to go into town for dinner, shopping, and bars. Room is quite large. Customer service is both helpful and cheery.

Front desk and valet parking were very nice. Our room was at the end of a hallway which we thought would be nice and quiet. College kids were on our floor that were absolutely the worst rowdy bunch, running up and down the halls, yelling, screaming, opening and slamming doors, running blenders and you name it. At 9:30 pm I complained to security and told them the whole floor was out of control. I told security I will call the police if it's not taken care of quickly. The front desk said that they are guests (so was I) and security would handle it better than police and police won't respond. (that's a lie). 15 minutes later we heard security talking to the room across the hall from us. It helped slightly but the noise continued until midnight. Don't stay here if you want to deal with unruly inconsiderate guests. Our room was okay but the toilet seat was loose and the bathroom door was severely warped. The elevator had a mind of it's own sporadically.

Had to get the keys remade multiple times, apparently this isn't a real resort. Only wants to charge you like one. There is a resort fee but not allowed to use the resort. Crappies breakfast I've ever seen.

Room is amazing for the price! Staff are incredibly courteous and had great suggestions to sightsee. Will be going back!

The room we wanted wasn't clean so they upgraded is at no extra charge. Unit was nice, clean, and had a full kitchen. The rooms were quiet.

Some of the best hotel staff I've ever had. They went above and beyond to make our time there great. They gave suggestions based on personal experience on places to go and when the humidifier broke, they replaced it right away with a new one and checked in to make sure all was good.

The room we stayed in was not very comfortable. It was difficult to get into the bathroom, you have to stand in the corner just to close the door and there was no fan so it would stink up the room if we used the bathroom. The bed was blocking part of the dresser so that you could not get half of the drawers open. The couch was extremely old, looked like something you get at a garage sale. When we called to have the shuttle pick us up from another hotel, they said that they would not go up there, without giving any reason as to why not (2 miles away at Grand Lodge at Peak 7), and told us to use the Grand Lodge shuttle instead. The pool and workout facility was closed for cleaning all week. Not a great stay.

We stayed 1 night while traveling through. Everything was perfect. They even had a fan in room. Only thing is the bed in second room needs updated. Otherwise, we enjoyed it.

My wife and I stayed here July 31, 2017 for our anniversary. Alex at the front desk was beyond helpful and very thoughtful. He made our night by selecting a studio condo with a mountain view and surprised us with a handwritten card and bottle of wine for the special occasion. We will stay here again, just for the service alone, but the hotel is very nice as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Breckenridge.

We stayed at the village 2 for one night in July; not to be confused by the village, which is another building (nicer but pricier). Great location — walking distance from Main Street which has many restaurants and shops. Room was clean and comfy with A/C. No complaints for a great location in Breckenridge. Note, there was a $25 extra resort fee and valet parking was required.

We stayed near the Village Hotel, in the Village, next door. The hotel thought we were guests and gave us free coffee and donuts. They were very nice, helpful with directions and I would consider giving them a try. Beautiful area.

We really enjoyed it. We took a group of kids to a band competition from 4/6 to 4/9 and had a great time. The rooms were nice, the views were good. I like my view till I saw the one my wife had with her group. But we weren't in the rooms enough to really matter. We had great service and would look at going back.

The reviews seem to be all over the place. I have stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience. The Village Hotel is part of the The Village At Breckenridge, which is a privately owned condo complex. Vail Resorts owns The Village Hotel. The rooms are all a bit on the small side in The Village Hotel. Vail manages the rental a lot of the condos in the rest of the complex, but they are all privately owned and thus the decor varies wildly. Some have been recently renovated and look brand new while others are fairly sparse and dated. Depending on where you are staying, the lifts are 200 — 500 feet from your building. Main Street for restaurants and shopping is an easy 2 or 3 minute walk. My experiences with rooms and suites has always been excellent. However, there is no excuse for a dirty room. Politely demand to speak to the manager and report this. Also, if a room has damaged furniture or is really dated, report this to the manager so that they can let the owner know.

My family and I just got home from a wonderful 6 days stay at The Village. The location is perfect! Food, shopping and skiing is just steps away! Friendly staff, nice pool and hot area, super nice condos! We will definitely be back!

I stay here at least once a year for the Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike race. Free cookies at check-in. Most rooms have a fridge and sink. Hotel is built into a mountain, so you may have to take a series of elevators to get to your room. Onsite free self parking if you can find it. The garage is small. Also valet parking.

Great service, friendly hotel staff and a super location. The only minor issue was that the shower drained slowly and the tub filled up while showering. This is not a huge deal, but worth mentioning becuase it's an easy fix.

I stayed here back in March because I had purchased something on Groupon and when I called to make sure it went through they also asked for a credit card. When I got to the hotel to check in I was told that I was being charged for two rooms when I only needed one. The guy at the front was not very helpful so I decided to mention it again when I was checking out the next day. The next person had told me that I would be refunded for the second room that was never used, so I left without saying anything else about it. I kept watching my bank account and the money was never put back in. I decided to call them after I had gone back home and I was then told that they couldn't do anything about it and to contact Groupon. I did, even though it wasn't them that I had the problem with and just as I suspected they weren't able to do anything. Long story short I never got my money back from the hotel so I will definitely not ever come back to this hotel.

This is an incredible hotel. Service is fantastic. Front desk, valet, and restaurant staff go above and beyond. The location is central to everything with a shuttle to main Street. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Love it!

Great rooms! Roomy and very clean. Friendly and courteous staff. Easy checkin and they give a you a warm cookie. Good restaurants within the hotel and walking distance to many more. The only thing I don't like is the elevators. They are too far from the lobby! :)

Pros: Room was good size. Beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet very nice. Cons: Window only opened a little because vent for free standing air conditioning unit went out window. View of roof and ac units from window disappointing, even though the resort is set in a beautiful area.

Cordial, clean rooms. Not much to comment on but nice!

Older and smelled musty. Close to resirt. Free city parking across road avoids the Valletta but it is uncovered and nay not be available in the winter.

Check in took forever even though we booked online, we were told our room was recently updated but once we finally got to the room we were very disappointed. The wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom and by the bed, the room was very hot and you could not adjust the thermostat the bed was a double not a queen and it was so broke down that you would roll to the middle and be stuck. Tried to sleep on the couch but is was extremely hard, needless to say we did not rest at all. Then when we went to check out we were told there was a booking fee that needed paid, I refused to pay based on the fact this was not mentioned prior and the room was so bad, the manager assured me they would wave the fee, trust me after this experience we will make sure of this. And also we will never stay again nor would we recommend.

Marcus from "The Profit" needs to visit this hotel in so many ways. Everything rattled and was 20+ years old. Beds are fit for 5 year olds.

My girlfriend and I checked into our room and unpacked. The hotel has a no smoking policy in our room. We rolled a joint and left a small amount on the counter and then headed out for dinner. We got back and rolled another joint and went outside and partook. We then came back and fell asleep watching tv. The next day we went to check out and they tried to charge us for smoking marijuana in our room, even though we had never smoked in the room at all! The rude manager on duty said that the day before they got a complaint about marijuana and went and knocked on our door and when we didn't answer they went in our hotel room without us present. All because of a hotel complaint! The manager acknowledged that it was legal for us to posses our marijuana in the room but she was assuming we smoked it just because it was pungent and made the room smell. DO NOT STAY HERE if you're privacy is important. They will discriminate anyone and try to charge them for smelling like marijuana which is completely legal. We didnt break any laws or hotel rules but they still tried to judge us and charge us for smelling like marijuana.

We stopped in without a reservation in October and got an amazing suite with way more space than the four of us needed for under $200. The location was perfect, with lots of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Very comfortable, quiet and we had a lovely view of the forest and wildflowers outside our balcony. This was an unexpected surprise and we would definitely come back.

One of our pillows had blood on it which tells me they don't wash everything. Yuck. Not staying here again.

I stayed one night at your resort the 13th of October I did not have a great experience. We booked under Priceline expecting to pay what the agreed upon price was. When I arrived everything looked great the front desk staff told me that parking and internet were included with the stay. After arriving we went to our room that was smaller than staying at a Days Inn or a Super 8 Motel. The room also had a full bed I was not expecting that small a bed for two guests. At this point we were a little disappointed as we had decided to stay here because it was a higher rated resort and this was our anniversary. After trying to sleep there for a night, we got little sleep due to the garage door kept opening and closing and you could hear a lot of noise from outside. As we went to check out the front desk told us there was a resort charge of $22.70 to help pay to maintain the free internet and parking. I understand paying for individual items but just charging a blanket fee on top of what you charge in my opinion is very dishonest and kind of a scam. I would expect better from Vail resorts. I have always had good experiences with Vail resorts and usually have a season pass with them. If you wish to charge more for your rooms then you should just charge more for your rooms and not add on a bogus fee to get you where you want for a room rate.

Two experiences both awful. They have the worst customer service. Make promises during bookings that they can not keep. DO NOT BOOK with the village hotel.

We held our daughter's wedding here in September 2009 — — everything from the lodging in the beautiful condos at The Village, the wedding venue at The Maggie, the complex that is the Village, the planners, coordinators, front desk and bell staff — — it was fabulous. How great to work with people who are pleasant and helpful from beginning to end! We are already planning a first anniversary party for them there — — because we all want to go back! People traveled from Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Montana — — and absolutely everyone had a great experience. You all should teach "customer service" because you are the best.
