Great Place to stay especially the room with a king size bed with a Jacuzzi! The next time I come and work in this area again I know where I will be staying at!

The room was nice, the bed was comfy, and the pool was nice and warm. Also the staff was so nice.

Everything considered, this wasn't a bad little flop-house. The room and facilities were clean, but the bathroom was set up odd, leaving little room for toilet usage. Be prepared, this is a 2-story facility with no elevator. The breakfast was the typical microwaved motel fare that can be found almost anywhere.

This was the highest star rating we could get in Sterling (we usually only do 4 star or higher hotels) but we were pleasantly surprised by this place. The room and grounds werewe're exceptionally clean and we'll appointed, the staff was friendly and the breakfast area was spotless. The lady staffing the breakfast area during our stay was very on top of things and extremely nice. We will be returning to this hotel when we drive back to Arizona.

We had our room close to their outdoor pool and the baby loved it. Pet friendly. Good rooms. Good breakfast. Just gotta be careful with the doors open cause we had a handful of flies come in.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. Both times we had an awesome experience. Staff is friendly, room was nice and clean, even the inside and outside pool were kept clean. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend this place. We will be back next time we're in this area.

We stay here almost every year when visiting family in Sterling. The pool is so nice! My kids love it. The breakfast is great. We are always comfortable and look forward to staying there every year.

Needed a hotel for one night en route from Lincoln, Nebraska to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Didn't know how far we'd get so could not book in advance or research for the best. Rolled the dice and chose Best Western Sundowner in Sterling, Colorado. It was terrific. Clean, convenient, comfortable. Helpful staff. Newly updated interior and exterior. Good breakfast. Pet friendly with exterior entrance. Plus fridge and microwave. Will plan to stay there next time we travel that route.

Stayed here and the room immediately had a weird funky smell to it, but was to tired to go ask for another room at that point. The shower back up and the soap was gross. The only positive the beds were comfortable. Mentioned all this at checkout and they didn't seem to concerned. Expect allot better for $130 a night. Update: spoke with Krista who was very understanding and nice. She acknowledged the issues and they are going to remedy it. We appreciate her response and courtesy.

Quiet, rooms are big, good place to stop off interstate! No complaints here will be back!

Best hotel breakfast I've had! Rooms are nice and clean. Service is always friendly. I always look forward to the cookies at the front desk when checking in too, nice treat at the end of a work day.

The rooms were amazing! We enjoyed the wonderful staff! The bed was amazing, slept so good. The room we had was very clean! thank you for the reward card to build great things!

We loved this hotel, it was very nice and clean, the room is a wonderful size and very lovely decorated. The bath was very roomy also. The breakfast in this Best Western was absolutely fabulous! It was Mother's Day weekend and the lady that cooked the breakfast went all out, she made all the regular items and then she went above and beyond by making hot fresh from the oven quiche, and she kept them coming all different types! It was lovely! The tables also had fresh flowers and the setting was just perfect.

Rooms were very clean and well maintained. There is a balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee. The balcony was very clean and the furniture was also clean and in good repair. The indoor pool was outstanding! Perfect temperature, very clean, towels well stocked. Spent an hour doing lazy laps. Beds were comfortable. If I ever come back this way, this is where I'll stay!

Excellent place to stay when in Sterling. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, dog friendly and wonderful space for animal to go to outside. Friendly staff! Great breakfast.

LOVED OUR STAY! Honestly, This was one of the best stays I’ve had at a hotel in a long time. Spoke to Angel, who got us a comfy room at a great rate and was dog friendly. Excellent customer service btw! The entire hotel has been redone so everything is super new. The beds are super comfortable. You WILL look to see what the pillow brand is to buy later. Extremely nice breakfast area which you can tell was well thought out and set up to accomadate just about any person including that picky eater in your family. Super quiet and clean too:)

For an extra twenty dollars I was able to get a large bathtub in with the room. Was able to watch TV from the giant tub. Good breakfast options. Found Cheetos in the room so it could have been cleaner tho. Still would recommend.

I have never had to stay at hotel long term. I have stayed in multiple hotels over my life, short term. However, my job has me staying at this hotel for awhile. This hotel feels like the next best thing to home. The staff are all polite, kind, efficient & the hotel is kept very clean! From the indoor pool, to the weight room, the dining room, the lobby & the laundry room. The breakfast layout is amazing & every day the eggs are made differently as well as you have a different meat. There are a number of other breakfast items that usually hold me to dinner. I have NOTHING bad to say about this hotel.

Room is comfortable. I like the dual entrance for first floor rooms. I was able to back the car up to the door to unload.

Really great rooms extremely nice staff everything really clean and well maintained fast Internet speed great Whirlpool Jacuzzi tub in the Room we really enjoyed our stay loved having a walk out door right to our car thought that was a really nice feature will defintely recommend and stay there again.

Wow! What a nice hotel! Large rooms, large bathroom. Seemed like it was brand new or just had an extensive facelift. Glad we didnt splurge on a more expensive hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast. My only gripe is that the water softener makes you feel like you are soapy, but I've noticed that in other hotels, so it may just be the water in the regional area.

The staff was very kind and the breakfast was excellent! Lots of variety in food choices. The room was clean and tidy. Honestly, one of the queen beds was a bit swayed on one side, but not awful. I wish the evening receptionist had stated the full price including tax, instead of without tax. Otherwise, it was amazing. When I went to go check out the morning receptionist was helping restock breakfast, but the gal who was mopping the front entry greeted me and asked if she could help, she couldn't do much, but she did go get the receptionist for me! Overall, great staff!

This place was OK for an overnight stay. Rooms were OK but the bathrooms are small. Really small with 7 foot ceilings which really made it tight. We had two lights out so it kind of tells you there is no attention to detail when cleaning. Location was great. Easy on and off &^ and, nearby gasoline/diesel. Dinners were in town, about 5 miles away. Food was mediocre but, it is rural CO.

Nice hotel. Had to check out at 6 am thinking I was going to be able to have breakfast and no hot food only muffins cereal and coffee ☕️ not coming back. Am going to go across the street holiday day inn.

Very large room, never felt cramped like other places. Everything was we'll kept and clean. The complementary breakfast was basic but filling.

I stayed here several times while relocating because I feel it is hands down the best kept hotel in Sterling. Its just outside of the bulk of town, and is well cleaned while offering many traditional perks like breakfast. I also enjoyed that my second floor room had a walk out patio. Also, if you join their rewards program you may even get some locally made snacks from Sterling.

Fantastic Staff and GREAT location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. For an inexpensive hotel, they sure deliver a super product and make you feel like a 4 star customer.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful swimming pool. Great for kids. Separate toddler pool. Excellent breakfast choices. Staff is very nice and helpful.

This property was easy to get to. Front desk was very helpful. Nice area to walk dog. Clean nice pool area. Good internet. Good breakfast. Quite rooms good bed. Front desk lady suggested a restaurant for dinner it was delicious.

Stayed overnight on business. Very comfortable beds and pillows, which is my top priority! everything was fairly clean, but I did notice the sink had some hairs in it. The room was updated and had a nice balcony. Water pressure was not all it could be. The breakfast in the morning was one of the better ones I've had.

They have a lot of grass which is great if you have a dog! Very friendly staff. Tidy rooms. Very cute and hospitable. Cons: my room had a very strong odor from the ac unit. I swapped rooms and the second room had less of an odor, but one of my dogs was up all night with breathing issues. Still having them. Aside from that I really like the adorable town of Sterling, Colorado.

This is a very new facility out by the freeway with convenient outside doors on the rooms on the first floor. Beds were comfortable enough but there were no pillows soft enough for a smaller person. The A/C works well. They serve the usual low quality Best Western breakfast items in the morning. We pack our own when we're staying at a BW and have their hard boiled eggs and fruit.

Our stay in Sterling, Colorado was very pleasant. It far exceeded our expectations. Our room was very nice, spacious and the air conditioning worked wonderfully well. The staff was extremely pleasant, friendly and attentive. The continental breakfast was the BEST we have ever experienced! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any family or friends!

Krista and her staff are amazing, they meet our every need and were patient with us during a hectic time. Breakfast was great every morning and coffee was always ready. Rooms clean, beds comfy, great Wi-Fi, nice laundry room. Who could ask for anything more.

Friendly staff. Convenient access to major roads. Indoor pool was under construction in September, but outdoor pool was still available. 2 story hotel, but does not have an elevator.
Breakfast is included in the breakfast room on-site. I will gladly stay here again when my travels return me to Sterling.

My golfing partner and I checked in on 9/2/2016 and checked out 9/4/2016. Ie. For s two night stay. We were playing golf in the 93rd Labor Day golf tournament at Northeastern 18 golf club. Not only was I charged $342.62 for 2 nights on my credit card, Michelle ALSO split the bill between the two of us when we checked out on Sunday a. M. (equally) and charged us 1/2 each half of the $342.62. Be careful. They double charge!. So, you see — — they billed us a total of $685.24 for a two night stay! You think that's steep? Also, the maids came in 3 times to ask if we wanted our beds made and if we wanted clean towels. THREE TIMES! I will rescind this review if and when they clean up this over charge.

Very clean, they even have a "clean" remote. Front desk lady extremely friendly. Free local Carmel popcorn in room. I would recommend staying here.

The room was very clean, right off the highway and easy to find. Best part, they take dogs! Nice walking area to stretch my labs legs plus provided poop bags, but as I noticed in the morning not enough responsible pet owners, so I picked up a bunch. Don't want these idiots to ruin it for us responsible owners! Skipped breakfast since I'm not much of a breakfast person. But the room came equipped with a microwave & mini fridge. While it was what I'd pay for a night in the Loop (Chicago) I was tired and coming in from Nebraska it was here and took the dogs.

Very clean and great room! Staff was very friendly and accommodating! The hot breakfast was very good! I recommend the Belgium Waffles!

Clean room, friendly staff. They have a small pool. The only odd thing is the glass doors on the bottom level. They open up to the parking and they can be double locked from the inside, but it is still a bit unnerving. Ask for second floor if this would bother you.

Surprisingly clean and modern. Much larger than expected. Hot water was broken but we were offered a different room and received a discount.

This place isn't great we received our key cards go to our room and key cards didn't work we go to the front desk about four different time's for the same reason elevators we're out of service carrying luggage baby and kids it was a frustrating night if it wasn't so late at night would had left.

Wi-fi was despicable. Not suitable for travelers that need to keep in touch electronically.

Very nice hotel, rustic-looking lobby with a fireplace and lots of hardwood. Woman at the front desk was friendly and professional. Our room (202) was right at the top of the stairs. I'm a light sleeper and thought this might be an issue for me, and it wasn't. Slept through the night. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom likewise. And there was an added bonus: a bag of caramel corn from a local popcorn company and a bottle of water, both free of charge! How nice! Breakfast was hotel-typical, featuring cereal, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, and do-it-yourself waffles. Coffee was great. The dining area was clean and an employee came through to check on things three times while I was there. Two minor complaints: I wish that there had been more healthy options such as fresh fruit or hard boiled eggs, and also the cereal was quite stale :/ Overall it's a very nice hotel. There are certainly cheaper options around, but I couldn't tell you if they're any better :P.

Very overpriced for the area lady at the desk doesn't recognize Us military retired as any discount. My advise stay somewhere else or keep driving. I stay at over 150 hotels a year.

Room was nice and clean. Only problem was toilet was clogged when I got here. Only room left was hot tub room, and it was nice. I wanted to sleep in but heard everything in the halls, and outside.

Very accommodating to travelers with pets! Really appreciated their doggie kgoodie bag, plus they provide a blanket for dogs to sleep on per request! However, there were sticker weeds in the pet potty area that should be pulled. Otherwise, great stay.
