Stayed let year paid full price and room had no hot water in the shower front desk said oh well we will look into it during the down times.

Dirty rooms, nothing worked properly, pool not in order. Uncomfortable beds.

Absolutely horrible! Demanded a refund immediately. Would be better sleeping on the side of the road, it's cleaner!

Good clean room neat people. HOWEVER the pool and hot tub were not working. Hot tub looked like it hadn’t been kept up for a WHILE.

Their promotions are a fraud. Their rooms are filthy, the pool has no water.

Very run down. No maid service for last two days of stay. Had to ask for towels room not cleaned. No pool or hot tub. Breakfast pretty much non existent. Screen for patio have holes and off track. TV had to be fixed. Definitely not worth the money.

This place was a joke! I feel bad for the new manager because he was really trying to make the stay better but the room keys didn't work for the first room, when we finally got in the room the bed sheets were nasty. The manager was awesome and got us another room, which was the better of the two. One bed had dried blood on the sheet, the smoke detector was disconnected, and there were so many things plugged into electric strips. We stayed because it was the only option at 11 p. M. Hopefully the new management can turn things around… but with everything we seen it's gonna take a miracle.

Dirty conditions, clutter. Beds are old, pillows and need replaced. Steps going to upper rooms are loose and move around.
Over all I would not recommend this place to any one. It's not worth any amount of money…

Honestly, the hotel was a bit run down and at first we were a little taken back, BUT the staff made the experience great! Everything we had mentioned was promptly fixed and they had smiles with every request! We were informed right away that it was under new management and was being fixed up! I would stay again and will be excited to see what the new management and new staff have in store! Thank you Evan, Tracey and David for a great experience! We have never had such amazing people to not only be so honest but to make us laugh and truly enjoy our time. Thanks again and goodluck on this adventure! Your new friends look forward to seeing what a year brings to this hotel!

Wonderful staff and excellent value for the money! Under new management in just the past 2 weeks and things have improved vastly! They have many newly renovated rooms that include beautiful hardwood floors some with front and back doors! The staff was very hospitable, so much so that we stayed 4 days and even cooked a bbq for the staff for being so accommodating. Rooms were very nice looking and clean, aside from needing a few things picked up from behind the nightstands (we checked). There were no bugs that we could see and we looked at 4 rooms before deciding to book our stay. Cleaner carpets and this place would get 5 stars for sure!

Ouch, don’t bother to check in. We did on line and when we arrived they wouldn’t refund the credit card. But assured us they would give us a 20% discount on second night. Which they did not. Pool was closed, good thing it was disgustingly gross. The room itself was dirty and very outdated, signs of dead bugs not even vacuumed up Spend the money and go somewhere decent, after all you are on vacation. Don’t let this place be a bad memory. Also the breakfast was a joke, no coffee, rolls were frozen and they ran out of boxed milk for the cereal. Shop around for a descent hotel stay. Spend the money as we learned a lesson.

I would not tell anyone about this place. When we got there the guy said they didnt have a room, then all of a sudden he said we did have a room. The smell of the room was so bad. You could tell someone just got done doing drugs. There was no fire arlam. The bed was in the floor. No batteries in the remote. Oeople walking by the room talking about how high they needed to get. ALL NIGHT! Do not stay here. Its sad cause estes is a amazing place to go.

We drove up and the place was just not appealing. We decided to give it a shot, go inside, there was dirt all over the floor of the “lobby. ” The lady at the desk was sitting down on the phone, didn’t greet me, but was nice after I began talking. We decided to find somewhere else to stay after walking in. The company refused to give us our money back even though what they advertise is NOT what you get when you arrive. We went and paid to stay somewhere else after driving 15 hours just so we could sleep in a clean place. Do not book! You’ll be disappointed.

This hotel has a great view of a mountain from the door. This is a place that needs a great deal of work to it. Much of the furniture in the room needed to be replaced with new. Many mechanical items needed repairing. We got a truly non smoking room on our last night.

Better than what most of the other reviews said. The bed was somewhat old and lumpy and the shower was leaky, but it was clean! Wi-Fi was a struggle in the furthest room.

I stayed here for 2 nights so that I could hike in Rocky Mountain National Park before a conference in Denver. It has a great location with a very affordable price. It served the purpose but if you are looking for high end accommodations, this is NOT your place. Not particularly nice and very dated but worked great as a place to sleep without spending a lot of time in the room. Staff was helpful and facilities were operational.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Mold on the towels and in the coffee pot. The beds were in made and looked as though someone had been sleeping in them. Needless to say do not stay at this place.

Would give a zero if I could. We knew it was a cheaper hotel but didn't know it was absolutely disgusting. When we first walked in I went to put my bag under the bed lifter up the skirt or the bed and there was a freaking dirty diaper! So naturally I looked around and went in the bathroom and there were hairs still in the shower and what looked to be mold on the ceilings and plaster hanging down. It was too late to book any other hotels with everything booked so we had to stay but slept on top of our blankets we brought with for the ride up the mountain. Horrible pool this place literally looks like it's from a scary movie and we paid 169 for 1 night, it was peak season but thought it would at least be clean. Never stay here!

Be warned! This place has Bed bugs! Such a freaky experience! Nice staff but my goodness.

The room was filthy! We did check for bed bugs before we brought our things in (we do at every hotel) and found none. However, there were crumbs on the floor, the bath tub hadn’t been cleaned and the mini fridge smelled funny. The clerk behind the counter was overly talkative and engaged my boyfriend (who was too nice to tell him to shut up) in some really weird religious rant for 15 minuets. Not gunna be staying here again.

Dead bugs everywhere, cobwebs everywhere, hair on every pillow case and pillow! Everything was super outdated and either broken or damaged! Ended up leaving!

Im still hearing they are re-branding poo-quality lodging. You can have semi-nice budget hotel lodging with some work that has to be done. How about doze the thing down and quit trying to add sprinkles on such a nasty place. OR get your head in the game. Here is MY advice. Close the place down for remodeling. 1. Break out the plywood, insulation and filler, Take ANY rooms that are "joint". And fill in that doorways between them. That is the EASIEST task. 2. Pull up all of the carpet, re-paint the rooms a nice color and place no-smoking in the rooms. 3. Consult a soundproofing engineer to come in and help re-design the place. If you have to add false walls with sound insulation DO IT. 4. Place in a Mini fridge WITH a nice sized freezer. -update your TVs, hire a network tech to balance Wi-Fi and modernize more.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! This place was filthy. Ratty old carpet, bad smells, stains everywhere. There are people who are living at the village inn. This place gives you the feeling of being unsafe. When we walked into the room we tried to flip on 3 lights and none of them worked. We walked right back out and cancelled our reservation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have never stayed in a place that was so disgusting.

This place has a funky, pleasant vibe. I arrived early to check in and asked the guy if they had an accessible room — last minute — and he promptly arranged for one. Ditto for a shower seat. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and noise level was negligable. It's not going to appeal to those who insist on the amenities you find at mid-to-upper grade motel chains. And you can tell there are repair and replace projects going on around the complex. But our room had nice hardwood-style flooring and a balcony that offered a fair view overlooking the mountain town — — when you look past the next-door public storage buildings. We've stayed at other motor lodge style places at Estes, and this one holds its own with them all. We'll consider this option again when we plan the next visit.

I had an awesome time cheap clean room badass pool friendly staff.

Need to be broken to ground and new constructions — I can't believe they 're still making money out of this damp creep and sold it per night to me $145 dollars. Counties should be little bit pro-active to make sure this motels stay in standard. Everything old microwave, Fridge TV, uncomfortable bed. There are mosquitoes came on from somewhere insects were there in the room. Horrible bathroom even water was not flowing through the basin. Only refreshing thing for us is the view from room of the mountains and a parking spot just near the room.

Room 127 was very nice and clean! It appears to be newly remodeled, with gorgeous wood floors, a nice flat screen TV, and a comfy king bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pretty view from the patio!

I give it one star because at least it was a roof over our heads. Horrible beds: one was rock hard and the other sagged really bad in the middle. Gap on side and under door-we could see day light. Coffee pot not washed. Newly laid "wood" floor, but not under beds! Did not appear to be cleaned well. Smelled bleach in the bathroom — — reassuring!

Worst hotel I've ever been to. Filthy. Carpets were stained with what appeared to be blood. Mold on the walls. They rented my room to someone else while I was staying there. Fan had broken blades. Curtains fell off. Terrible. Pool was drained, CRT television instead of the flat screen advertised online. Avoid at all costs.

This place is gross. The room was still in demolition mode. The new wood floor didn't cover the entire room, and we constantly tripped over the wood floor to the carpet underneath. There were no pictures on the wall, no towel hangers, the door to the bathroom wouldn't open due to the door needing to be cut down to swing open. The tile floor in the bathroom was crooked, and wet! The room was dirty, and smelled. The only up to this room was that it didn't have bed bugs! The ad on this place is a lie, there is NO POOL, the parking lot has trash everywhere, and we had to ask for a trash can! The hotel management wouldn't give us a discount on our room, or compensate us for the inconvience of their mess! I don't care how long it takes this place to upgrade, it will never be worth the price to stay unless it only costs you 20 bucks a night! and even then that is expensive! Will never stay here again! I am usually easy to get along with, but this place takes the cake! So sad that management thinks they are doing you a favor by providing a gross room!

Should not have stayed here. Bad experince. Needs remodel, very bad accomodation. No toilet paper, tissues, or cups in room. Phone no worky. Beds really bad. One picture in bathroom hooked on wall with grabber screws picture torn. Other walls just holes where pictures should have been. Trash and weeds all outside. There will never ever be a next time that I'll sleep here. Can't wait to see there continental breakfast.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed wasn't super comfortable and some extra blankets would have been nice. The check in lobby and social spaces left something to be desired. They smelled like cigarette smoke. Other than that, I can't complain. We had a place to sleep and the pizza we ordered had no problem finding our door.

Good basic motel. I arrived late at night in Estes Park with no reservations, and this place thankfully had a room. Nice mountain views and balcony.

Poor service, poor Wi-Fi, not hot water just warm.

We arrived into town on a motorcycle trip. After checking several sold out hotels we made a reservation online through the Choice Hotel website for one room. They were able to provide rooms for the rest of the group all together. The manager was very helpful during our stay and made our spontaneous trip to Colorado a success.

Taking a shower, the water would be ice cold then scalding hot. Very uncomfortable. Told front desk guy and he said "old plumbing". Get new plumbing. Continental breakfast looked nasty.

It's old, run down, the carpet was nasty, but it did have a new bed spread and a mini fridge! It's also over priced and noisy! They had a free breakfast. It also has a small pool that was clean and a regular hot tub people were using. It had a small flat screen TV with cable & Wi-Fi. No microwave in the room. It's just not an enjoyable place to stay. I love Estes Park… but I'll be staying somewhere else.

Would not refund my money after following their policy to cancel: I made a reservation over the phone. They sent a confirmation email. Within the email, it stated their cancellation policy and provided a link for how to cancel. I decided to cancel the room and used the link provided. I received a confirmation email with the cancellation confirmation number. However, I was charged for the room anyway. I called to get the matter fixed and spoke with the front desk clerk. I didn't receive a call or a refund. So I called back 4 days later to ensure the refund was coming. I spoke to the owner (Mr. Chung) and he indicated that I would not get a refund because they did not receive the cancellation. He went on to explain that because I called to make the reservation, I would have to call to cancel it. I asked him where this was stated because I had an email that stated otherwise. He offered to refund half of my money. I declined and am disputing the charges with my bank and the Better Business Bureau.

The room was fine, but the towels had some stains on. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had. There was only one choice of cereals although there were two containers for cereals. There's no fruit at all. The orange juice was half empty. The staff was late to prepare the breakfast; I guess the food was left there overnight. Anyway, I think the room rate should deserve better food and service.
