Beautiful venue for a wedding. Awesome staff and delicious food.

We decided to elope after planning a wedding in July due to COVID. We saw photos of Elkwood Manor and fell in love. Jim and Odilia are excellent hosts! They were very accommodating in every aspect. We didn’t have to worry about food, drinks, or timing. Wedding day was even more than I expected. Odilia and Jim took care of everything and we were able to spend the day relaxing. Our appetizers, dinner and cake were amazing! Odilia is one of the best cooks. This is one of those places you leave feeling like you’re family, we will definitely be returning!

This was our first time in Pagosa Springs. I booked a trip for my husband and I as a last minute Christmas getaway. We were unable to spend Christmas with any family due to the situation with COVID and decided if we were going to be "alone" for Christmas we might as well be snowboarding. After a bit of research I stumbled upon Elkwood Manor, it wasn't the least expensive place to stay but I estimated with breakfast included and a daily happy hour it would be similar to some of the cheap chain hotels nearby and the cost of going out to eat every meal. After nearly a week of staying at Elkwood Manor I can easily say we will never stay anywhere else in Pagosa Springs. It was more than worth it and we will be coming back (as soon as possible). Not only do I think we saved money by staying here the food was far better than anything in town with a spectacular view in a beautiful dining room. Did I already mention the food? Every meal was outstanding and prepared with what can only be described as a true passion for cooking. Our hosts are true foodies. The property was extremely clean, our hosts took proper COVID precautions and we felt extremely comfortable from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the San Juan suite which was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was perfect after a long day on the slopes. Others have written it was like staying with friends. I'd say it was like staying with long lost family we didn't know we had.

First of all I can't say enough about this bed and breakfast. My wife and I have stayed in numerous bed and breakfast's and this one's by far is our favorite. The owners treat you like family and with the delicious breakfast daily you cant miss. We stayed here 6 days and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts are very kind & thoughtful. The food was amazing! Sunset happy hour every evening with a drink menu & delicious appetizers. Great location to ski trails, beautiful views from the house & hot tub! We will most definitely be back!

Jim and Odilia were extremely gracious hosts. They were able to book us last minute as our flight was canceled in Durango. We had a fantastic stay, everything was clean, the food was great, the company fantastic. They location is convenient to town and their recommendations are perfect. I loved staying at Elkwood Manor Bed & Breakfast. This was my solo vacation & I don't think I would have enjoyed my stay anywhere else as much as I did. I loved hot tub, my room, happy hour, scenery, delcious breakfast made by Odelia! ♡ and over all the feeling of being there. I felt so comfortable. I recommend to lay on the patio at night, the stars were amazing. Super cozy for couples, families or even if you want do a solo vacation like I did! The drive to downtown is only about 10 minutes away with a great view. Thanks to Jim and Odelia for making my trip amazing. I felt as if you guys were my family. I will be visiting again sometime soon with my friends!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in January to ski at Wolf Creek. We LOVED it, the hosts are wonderful. We had the most delicious breakfast every morning and you can’t beat that gorgeous Mountain View. Highly recommended!

This was a beautiful wedding venue for our son and his gorgeous wife with views to kill for. Jim and Odilla are the owners and hosted both families in five suites for three nights with breakfast included. Jim officiated the wedding and Odilla cooked all the food chosen by the bride and her family. They supplied tables and chairs for 65 guests and families. Everything was fantastic and the views of the Rockies were first rate. We will come back and stay whenever we travel close to southern Colorado. Highly recommended.

This was our first time staying at Bed & Breakfast. It far exceeded all of our expectations. The view is breath-taking, the accommodations are lovely, and location is perfect! And if that wasn't enough, the hospitality that we received there was second to none. Jim & Odelia were the ideal and perfect hosts. Upon arriving, you immediately like family coming home for a visit. Our stay was so wonderful, we asked to extend our stay! Can't wait to come again!

Great place to stay they wipe your nose and powder your behind did our laundry breakfast was great Jim was even trying to help us find a place for our horses just took a personal interest helped in every way they could and the beds super clean and extra comfortable will defiantly be back.

This place is awesome! The happy hours, the accommodation, Jim and Odilia are absolutely amazing! We felt like family. Booked 1 night and had to stay another night. We would recommend this bed and breakfast to all! P. S. Odilia will make sure you d ont leave the table hungry (or the house, she had muffins to go! ) Loved it, The Barnhills.

Stayed here a few years ago with our exchange student. The service was fair but we felt a bit uncomfortable. The food was okay, the menu needed to be updated a bit. As we were leaving the owner thought I was taking one of the bed pillows, I was highly offended by this! At the time the Elkwood Manor Bed and Breakfast was for sale. Hopefully management has changed and the service has improved.

Dont walk — RUN to Elkwood Manor BnB — We spent my 50th Birthday here and exceeded any expectations. Our hosts were so delightful, friendly and accommodating. The views were spectacular and our room was warm, cozy and inviting. I don't even eat breakfast but the home made gourmet food was just too amazing to pass up. This couple really knows how to host guests first class, with warmth. I knew I was "home" when we walked in a little tired and thirsty from the drive and our host welcomed us with a warm smile, a drink and an invitation to just relax. I could not have asked for a better stay and Birthday! Thank you so much!

Great little B&B to enjoy the mountains and skiing of Pagosa. Jim and Odillia are awesome, I'll plan to come back here year after year until they sell me the property!

Jim and Odilia are so warm and welcoming! Their home is beautiful, comfortable, warm and inviting! It was the perfect place to relax, and we enjoyed being able to be more social than we would have been at a hotel. Breakfast was delicious… including homemade bread! Treat yourself with a stay here, it's great!

Outstanding first class Colorado Ranch bed and breakfast lodging. Million dollar View of a fantastic pasture and stunning mountain range in the near distance. Our hosts are a very gracious couple (manager/owners). Absolutely I must visit if you're within 100 miles.

By far the best reservation I ever booked! We stayed 5 nights on June and was worth the $. Odilia and Erika are the sweetest, they met all our needs and the our room was so cozy. Every morning our breakfast was different and would have happy hour in the afternoon to enjoy w the amazing open view of nature! I highly recommend Elk Wood Manor!

The best service, food, people, happy hour drinks, views, rooms, everything. This place is amazing.

This was a fantastic place to stay at. The room was very clean and neatly decorated. I dont remember the name of the room but it's above the kitchen with its own private balcony. They have an outdoor balcony with an amazing open view of the meadows and mountains. Jim, and his lovely wife Olelia, are very nice and always willing to help. Jim made me a list of all the live bands playing in town, and told us what their favorite restaurants were to eat at. They have a 5 o'clock happy hour which is a great time to get to know the other people staying there. So my wife and I highly recommend Elkwood Manor. We will always stay here when we go to Pagosa.

I feel very lucky to have found Elkwood Manor bed-and-breakfast. It’s truly a magnificent property. My wife and I spent three nights there this August. We stayed in the second-floor main house room with a balcony. Very nice and private since it wasn’t directly connected to any adjoining rooms. Off of the main house public area they have a lovely spacious deck that looks out into a grass filled meadow and onwards towards what I believe are the San Juan Mountains. The owners are very gracious and always willing to serve your needs. I had some very nice conversations with Jim and his wife Ofelia. You can tell they have a genuine passion for managing a bed-and-breakfast and enjoy servicing their guests. When we first arrived we were offered several different beverages. I was particularly impressed with the fact that they had micro brew beers on hand. Happy hour every evening was great. The breakfasts were very tasty and I always left with a satisfying feeling. I also enjoyed having 24-hour access to the hot tub which provides a similar view that you see from the main deck. I hope these folks continue this business so that I can come back again each year and enjoy their hospitality. I would not hesitate to recommend this as part of a vacation getaway to my friends and family.

Like a home away from home; a wonderfully quaint cabin get-away. The owners are so incredibly polite and inviting. The view from the large deck is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I would happily stay again.

My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend. It was supremely comfortable, clean and welcoming. We loved the wine and hors d'oeuvres in the evening, and the breakfast was exquisite. The owners are wonderful, hospitable people who provided a lovely personal touch to our stay. We love it here and will be returning as much as possible.

AS PROMISED On our way from Santa Fe through Taos and ultimately north to Denver, we booked the Wilderness Loft Suite at Elkwood Manor Luxury Bed and Breakfast. We were disappointed to not meet the owners, but Don and Karen, our "fill-in" hosts, could not have been more accommodating, genuine, and gracious. Don lugged my wife's two-ton suitcase up the stairs to our room, and I must say that that effort was way beyond the call of duty. It turned out that Karen knows her way around a kitchen, and the pancakes she served for our breakfast were simply sublime. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. PS The scenery and views surpassed expectations. Yes, I would stay at Elkwood Manor again.
