Nice clean motel in great mountain area right at Pikes Peek.

Nice motel with smoking rooms. Nice pool. Great view of the mountains! Close to near by parks & The Manitou Trail.

Rooms were clean but air unit was loud. It was either to cold or to warm. Free breakfast was a joke. Way over priced for what it was. The T. V. Was was horiable. Bad cable. My last stay was at the Silver Saddle down the road. Much better stay.

Good clean room. Needed to invest in pillows and mattresses. Room too a long time to cool down because the air was off upon arrival. They did have a fridge but it was not usable because it was turned way up. Takes too long for the temperature to adjust to use during an overnight stay.

Stayed as a last minute choice, room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly too, would recommend them to anyone.

For an allegedly 2 star motel, I really like this place. The room and facilities are clean and comfy, with a few retro touches that are fun and functional. The breakfast isn't much, but it was a nice little pick-me-up to start the day.

We loved our stay at the Eagle Motel. Rooms were clean and the owner and staff extremely friendly and helpful with local suggestions for shops. We loved the beautiful view and that this hotel was within walking distance of downtown Manitou. The day we checked out, we had expectations of finding another room elsewhere in the next town we spent site seeing in, but enjoyed the location and property so much we drove back to Manitou to stay our last night in Colorado back at the Eagle Motel. We will definitely be coming back again!

This is our third stay over the last 13 years. We keep coming back because the rooms are clean. The stand-up shower is small. If you're a bigger person, just a warning. The motel changed hands about 3-4 years ago but Wally is a friend of the former owner Bill… the cleanliness hasn't suffered. Not sure when Manitou Springs added a free shuttle to the downtown area but the motel is a short walk to the shuttle stop. You can enjoy the numerous shops and restaurants in the downtown area without worrying about finding parking. I recommend PJ's Bistro, very reasonable and top notch food quality.

The problems of the USA, aren't going to be resolved, by a few disgruntled Vets and wifes, trying to ruin a small business in Colorado.
You want to do some good, go take a homeless Vet to dinner and leave working folk alone.

A friend of mine had reservations to stay there during a Veterans motorcycle rally. On the way from NM he died in an accident never even leaving NM. His wife called letting the owners know he had died and would not need the reservation. They charged his credit card on the day he was killed, and told his widow no refunds. Real class act.

Treat you like family? I guess as long as you contribute to the bottom line. My father, a Veteran of the US Army and USAR, as well as the US Navy and USN reserves; proudly serving in Operation Desert Storm, a prior Chapter and Regional President of the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club, and founder/creator of the POW/MIA Awareness Project, passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident on his way to support fellow Veterans at The Veterans Rally in CO last week. I understand business policies, but no compassion from this hotel for his grieving family and more importantly, his wife. No cancellation of his stay. Nothing. Just "sorry it's our policy". A Vet passed on his way to support other Vets… on his bike that was customized to show awareness to POWs. This man thought of and supported his fellow brethren and gets no compassion from the hotel he was staying at for a Veterans Rally. My father was huge on family and this is not family. No Vet should stay at this place. Again — I understand business policies but I've worked in hospitality and customer service management. There is always something they can do — charge a one night cancel; not the entire duration. I'm sure they rented out his room to another and charged just as much or even more.

Older motel, very clean, owner responsive to customer needs. Overall good experience if your just looking for reasonably priced place to lay your head. Would stay again.

It's a C minus at best. The air in the room was stuffy but the fan for the A. C. Was so loud it my wife hardly slept. I can sleep through anything. When we first arrived, I killed 2 wasps in the bathroom. Other than that, it was clean and the people nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Calle the front desk person was awesome. She has knowledge of the area and was able to recommend so great spots. She also took the time to introduce us to the other guest. The rooms were clean and well kept. Towels and toilet paper could be softer! We enjoyed sitting out front and talking with the other guests and staff. Manitou Springs city center is a short, pleasant walk away. This was convenient because you have to pay for parking in town. A suggestion to Bikers park for free across the street or in the only flat spot. The spots are slanted downward and hard to back out of! All in all we had a great time. We will be returning. We hope Callie and Amber will be there to greet us again.

My husband and I had planned on staying here due to the good review but decided to splurge and get a jacuzzi suite at a motel down the street. My brother in law slept booked here for two nights to give us alone time. The two bed room was cheaper than the one bed room, so he obviously chose the cheaper option. There were no problems, other than the fact that the bathroom was odd, being split up, the room had not really been updated, and their "breakfast" was a joke. Their "continental breakfast" was literally prepackaged sweets, and not even the good kind. So after two night, we helped my brother in law check out, and he turned in the keys with no problem. As soon as we were about ten minutes away, he gets a phone call saying that because BOTH BEDS were unmade one night, that he would be charged EXTRA for having "an extra person and not paying for them before. " He did not have an extra person in his room, firstly, but what if he slept in both beds? I'm just really glad we did not stay here.

Family owned and operated. Clean and comfortable. Book directly for the best prices. Stayed here several times over the last few years and it's our families favorite place to stay in Manitou. Also we love that the free shuttle into Downtown is just across the street.

Nice enough, simple hotel. Good location. Two problems. We had only luke warm water from tub. Spoke with 2 other guests and they had no warm water either and said it had been that way for a few days. Continental breakfast was a no go. Suppose to open at 8am but at 7 minutes after we left. Really need breakfast ready by 7am for vacationers. We arrived later in evening after hiking Garden of the Gods and just needed to clean up and sleep. We are disappointed and feel cheated.

The room we had was big enough, But the bathroom was split up, the toilet was in a little cubby hole, my son is 6 foot 3 and 330 lbs barely fit in there. The stay was good. I wish they had a pool or at least had a bathtub in my room. They said that they were going to update the rooms. The room was very clean and that was the most important thing. I would stay there again. thank you to the staff very nice.

The rooms were very nice, it's an older hotel with smaller bathrooms but it was still a nice stay. Nice view of Pikes Peak.

Owner/management were very friendly, location is super convenient. The view is amazing. Rooms were better than expected for the price.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable & when I asked for 3 more pillows, (total of 6 for 1 person) they were glad to accommodate. The bathroom (in king room downstairs) was roomy but no tub, only shower. However, I was not dissapointed bcuz they had lots of nice soaps, shampoo & ammenties to keep me happy. The towels & rugs were new & fluffy. Very nice. There was a mini fridge& microwave& coffee pot with enuff free coffee packets for 2 weeks! Some nicer hotels try to limit free coffee packets!? The owner & his wife were very friendly& accommodating. The whole 2 week visit with them was lovely & homey. I hope theres "room @ Inn" for my birthday, id like to come back bcuz the Very Best part my stay was my sons apartment was 30 feet from my room! Very happy camper @ Eagle Motel. What sticks out to me the most was the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the front desk staff was very social and helpful. Our room was clean and simple; it had everything we needed and a nice bathroom area. Located a few blocks from downtown manitou springs with a nice view of pikes peak. Reasonably price, would recommend to anyone. We'll definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

My wife & I stay there for a week in June,. The owners are great people who care about their customers, not like some of the BIG chain places,. We were 5 minutes from everything, great town. Telling all my friends about this place. We will be back …

August 15-17 2015 The owners are completely legit and nice had good time talking with them like instant friends. Very nice motel, my wife had no complaint which is saying a lot. Very clean and home like and the window in our room was the coolest thing ever! We went for a bucket list 420 trip there and it was life changing and refreshing. They were respectable to non smokers as well. Try this place for yourself. We were hungry and simply went down the street to explore and ended up going on top of pikes peak by accident best memory ever.

A great value in a very well maintained classic ground level motel with parking just outside your door. It's a short walk to downtown Manitou. We were late arriving (after 8:30) and got a call from the night manager letting us know that they had opened our room and left the key inside. Spiffy clean room, linens, bathroom, etc. Good beds. They need to clean the ac filters, but most motels tend to overlook this. Will definintely be staying there again.

It was a great place to stay. The manager also answered all of our questions about Manitou Springs and even helped us find a place for dinner. The rooms are very clean and large and the breakfast was great.

The best Motel for the price. Clean rooms, good Wi-Fi, free breakfast, and a hot tub. The charm alone is worth staying here. The Eagle Motel is my home away from home.

No real wi fi. But big rooms. Really clean and full of great info, for whatever you want to do.
