Half the price of the holiday inn but not half the quality.

We selected the Quality inn for location and price. We absolutely got our money's worth. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Staff made excellent restaurant recommendations. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend The Colonnade to our friends and family.

I travel alone for business. I have stayed at this hotel many time and each time I feel safe because the staff is in tune with their customers comings and goings. The staff is amazing! The Hotel is clean, sheets are clean; bathrooms are clean. When you walk in the front doors you are greeted by a friendly front desk person. They take care of all of your needs and you are off to you room. I look forward to staying at this hotel.

The facility was clean, quiet, well staffed, and inviting. While we only stayed one night, it would have been great to stay more. Comfortable bed and room, excellent bathroom facilities, all in very good working order. Wi-Fi also worked very well. Morning breakfast was also very good. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Spent the night at this location on the start of our vacation. Ended up booking it again for a return trip home as it was a great facility. Everyone that we met that works there all had great attitudes and went out of their way to either say hi, smile, suggest something, or help out. The room is very spacious as well as the bathroom. Most importantly clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. You can control your own heat and air. It is close to the highway but being a light sleeper I never heard any highway traffic.

Excellent stay and wonderful staff. Richard & peter was an amazing front desk manager and extremely helpful. Great hot breakfast and clean rooms. Next time I am in Lamar I will definitely be staying here. Easy freeway access, quiet, clean and friendly.

Clean, comfortable, convenient hotel! Professional, friendly staff! Clean rooms, SUPER comfortable beds, clean dining area. Lots of food options! Giji was awesome at check in and Richard were great at check out! Even the maintenance man and food server asked how our stay was going! Great place to stay with the family!

Staff was excellent! Huge blizzard and storm coming in town and they helped me out completely! I appreciate the hospitality guys thanks again! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants to sleep comfortably in a nice room with a fair price! God bless you all!

Nothing but praise for the hotel and staff! Especially Richard for finding a charger cord for my phone and then letting me use his own plug! And the breakfast gal with her great attitude and smile! :-) No complaints!

I loved staying here. Very clean, wonderful staff. Loved the complimentary breakfast! I have no complaints at all about this hotel! I have stayed here a couple of times matter of fact. I would definitely recommend this motel to everyone!

Had to stay in the area for a funeral, No complaints here. The hotel was well kept and smelled fresh and clean. It was nice and quiet. No problems checking in or out. I probably won't ever be in the area again, since we were only in town for a funeral, but if I was, I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Kansas from Colorado Springs. The place is new, clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made you feel that they were glad you were staying with them. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable, as were the bed and pillows. There was a really nice variety and good food at the breakfast bar and most importantly a good cup of coffee and Breakfast burritos. The Wifi working great.

We were driving to Boulder with our mini Maggi puppy and are happy we stayed at this hotel. As large hotel chains go, experiences at Quality Inn. The Lamar, CO hotel is recommended. We really appreciated that the breakfast was out earlier than the posted time… thank you chef and management! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Good experience and we would stay here again.

The staff was really nice and my family and I had a lot of fun staying here. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The rooms were clean and the furniture looked really new. Thanks for a great stay!

After driving 15 hours I enter to check in and the dude working is in a battle on the phone with a customer that was charged an extra $150. This representative from Quality Inn sure needed a lesson on how to deal with an upset customer. He kept going on, and on Sir, "I did not charge your card, it was management. " Not just saying it, yelling it, and making sure himself as in individual was off the hook. And this went on for 15 minutes before I finally said "for Gods sake put him on hold" It was like listening to a couple children go a it, very uncomfortable and annoying. So, I shake it off and head to my room. Room was OK at best. Heater did not work, shower did not have hot water, room had a funky stank, and the phone did not have a cord were just a few of the things I noticed. I slept for a few hours and got the hell out of there. Do yourself a favor a stay one of the many other cheaper hotels in town.

Wonderful everything. Great staff. The rooms are imaculately clean. Everyone from the reception staff to the breakfast staff to housekeeping… it seems as if they all want to make sure your stay is enjoyable. When you walk into the front door, you are greeted with a smile and a laugh. Everyone at this property is to be commended.

Not a single complaint of any kind. The check-in experience was so easy and the staff so friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast room with nice selection of hot and cold foods. I especially liked the Burritos! If I am lucky enough to get back to Lamar Co, I would definitely stay here again.

Stopped here to spend the night on our way home to Arizona. Very, very nice place. Quiet area, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, very clean room and they are pet-friendly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked and delicious. We will definitely stay here again on our yearly road trips. Highly recommend.

A clean, quite, newly renovated hotel. The front desk clerk was nice and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable, furniture was new, and Wi-Fi was up to speed. The breakfast was outstanding, loved the breakfast burritos! Highly recommend trying them. Would visit here again.

I stay in various hotels in many cities sometimes weekly. When staying in Lamar, this one in the past was off the list. Over the past year the owners have fully remodeled, installed new beds, carpet, tile, etc… The size of the rooms have not changed but what is there is very well done! The owner "Jiggy" takes much pride in making us feel welcome and is very excited to earn your business on a repeat basis. You almost feel like you are staying at a friend's house when you are here. The homemade burritos are a welcome addition to the breakfast menu. I will now stay at this hotel every time I am in Lamar CO. Give this one a try for sure! Justin.

This is best Quality Inn we have stayed in. Room was excellent. Staff was very helpful and the morning breakfast was the best we have at a motel. I used the Workout room almost daily and it was clean. They had a big area for the parking lot where large trucks and trailers could park or turn around. Would stay here again.!

Our stay was a comfortable — no complaints! Staff were friendly and professional! I would loved the breakfast, specially with burritos and home made salsa. Internet was Great, they have laundry facility on site and fitness room also. Great Price for the value compared to other hotels in the area. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

I have never experienced a more rude unwelcoming unprofessional experience in my life by the manager of this place in lamar colorado, after booking a king size bed for me and my girlfriend I got to the room to find it was two twin beds and after spending $140 for my room I expect to get what I pay for I returned to the front desk and just thought I would be told it was a mistake and be assigned a new room with a king size bed instead the MANAGER named peter told me in a pathetic attitude that he assigns single king beds IF they are available and that he wasn't going to charge me for the extra bed! Nevermind the fact I RESERVED a king bed when I booked it online, when I explained that to him he told me with an attitude that if I didnt like it I could bring him back the key and go stay elsewhere in most cases I would have done just that but all motels in this little town were booked I reluctantly stayed I had a important family function, I was told later by a family member they had a similar experience with this manager, I will NEVER patronize this motel again or any other quality inn the rest of the staff semed courteous and professional the manager needs to go.

The hotel has been recently remodeled with new rooms and a new breakfast area. The breakfast is served from 6-9, but there was still some stuff out at 9:30, including a waffle maker. The room was a bit small, but nice as everything is new and fresh. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. There are outlets and USB ports on the lamp base which was quite useful. The Wi-Fi was rather cruddy as it was weak and intermittent; I couldn't stream any video without buffer breaks throughout. For the price, it was decent, but I still like Holiday Inn better.

I've never written a bad review before, I would normally never post a review unless I had extremely exceptional service and wanted to support an establishment I really enjoyed. They did not clean our room once in an entire week or even give us new towels. When we asked them why and if they could please do it, they said they just didn't want to. The hotel was kept at a brisk 90 degrees the whole time. When we checked out and tried to appropriately complain about the service she called the police, who were annoyed and baffled as to why they were even there.

I had made a reservation for this hotel with my fiance due to traveling, asking for a non smoking 1 Bedroom. When we first got to the hotel, it looked run down & outdated but, we arent picky people so we thought it was alright. I got to the front office and there was no one at the desk with a typed piece of paper saying "If needing help dial ext. 124" so, I did aa instructed by this white dingy paper and called. A man answered, groggy but being midnight I understood he might have been tired. I told him of our reservation and he said he'd be right down. We waited & when he came, he checked us in and we got our key. His service and attitude could have been more friendlier than he presented but that doesn't matter, what matters is the room. The room was shabby, very old ammenities and the carpet had all of these weird black stains on it. It smelled like a smokers room and the TV stand dresser, had burn holes in it! The bed was dirty had what I thought looked like crumbs on it, so I swept it off with my hand. I was thinking to myself "God damn, for $80 this is horrible! " The shower in the bathroom had no hot water that night and if you wanted hot water you had to flush the toilet and it would give you scorching hot water you couldn't even stand in! Using the toilet was so gross, it looked old and dirty, I had to use toilet paper to line my damn seat. I was so angry but, I was so tired I just didnt care.

Experience was good. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Very clean, no bugs or mice. Beds were comfortable and the pillows plush. Slept very well. A very good experience.

Not the best motel ive stayed in but it was the most quiet dont know if thats a good thing or not.

It's ok, has truck parking, lingering smell of cigarettes in room. Nice bed, clean room. Cereal hot cold, waffle machine off? toast, coffee. Package mini muffins.

I thought this place was good I was ready to rest and the rooms were clean and I had what I needed.

I showed up here at midnight and had to wait for 15 minutes for the guy to wake up and put a shirt on and come help me check into a room. And the sheets were entirely too small for the bed. We definitely won't be staying here in the future.

I have stayed in this motel three times in the last week. They do not give truck driver rates anymore. The price of my room went up twice within 4 days of each other. The first time it was 54 plus tax, then it was 60 plus tax, this last time, it went up again for the 3rd time to 65 plus tax. Now I know why they lost all of the business from the truck drivers.

I thought there would be improvements when the new owners took over. NOT! When my husband went to check out, Mike — the new owner, came up to the window without a shirt! My husband made a reservation, they didn't give my husband the truck driver rate! They charged him for two nights, which he didn't stay two nights, then they charged him a higher price. My husband said the rooms stick, which he got a non smoking room. They don't know how to work the system. Before they could learn they fired everyone that worked at the desk. My husband put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on his door and the maid still knocked on the door and woke him up. This place has became very unprofessional. Our company wants us to find a different hotel to stay in, in Lamar. This doesn't include what happened to me when I stayed there about a week ago. What a mess!
