I chose this hotel because of location and $. Upon arrival, the gentleman checks us in, we ask to use the restroom in the lobby there was no paper. : ( We locate our room, great! There is a couple who appear to be drunk infront of the room next to us. I refrained from going back to the front desk and request to move, but it was midnight and we had 2 kids. I did my normal inspection for bedbugs etc. I didn't find bedbugs but did find dirty pillow case and old yellow pillows inside some if the pillow cases. Moments after we settled in the drunk couple began to argue outside, then door slams the girl started to bang the door the guy locked her out. I try to ignore the chaos while I lay in bed. We began to hear someone pacing back and forth upstairs, it was loud! I called the front desk and I informed the gentleman about the situation and requested to move he said he would take care of it but ignored nt request of moving. Minutes after the call, I heard him knock on the next door and ask the couple to keep quiet he then called us from the front desk and told us that they would be quiet because he had already told them to. We waited for that to happen for about half an hour before calling the front desk again and for a new room away from these people. At that moment he said let me call you back and when he did he asked us to come back to the front desk.

Nice old place. Can't beat the pricing. Staff seamed a little stressed at times but where very accommodating. Rooms are small but very clean we decided to leave gratuity for house keeping. Would stay again.

Mesa inn was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable! The staff was knowledgeable and very nice! We will be back!

Great room for the price. Very clean rooms and property. The staff is awesome especially Sarah. A different plus to the company. My stay here has been home away from home.

The service clerk first gave me a room that was not cleaned, but she solved the problem in no time. The fitness room is almost nothing so don't take it seriously. Overall the service is good and this hotel is a nice one considering the price.

My absolute favorite place to stay in Grand Junction. Simple, yet elegant, the hotel features satisfy entertainment needs, provide adequate breakfast, and have an easy-to-navigate room layout. The heartbeat of this particular hotel plays to the rythym of their ardent staff. Sarah and Jessica go above and beyond for their customers to guarantee a delightful experience, and their manager is very gracious. Frank and Leroy are highly dedicated to excellence in maintenance and rank high in customer service as well. The sanitation team are friendly, devoted women who set standards in their field. Altogether, the establishment exceeds my expectations, and will receive my business every time I travel this way.

It was alright. You get what you pay for… I am pretty sure we're the only ones in the whole place who slept.

Got scammed out of 350$ for a weekly room and Bobby the owner of mesa inn had no compassion for our feelings, for our loss, nor did he have any remorse on letting us get a few of our things outta of our room when we were suddenly locked out! Wouldn't allow us to get our kids tablets or backpack unless we paided up in full 198$ for the three nights we did stay no prorating or discount or pity dollars off he said " just go now and never come back or I call the police " we were hoping for justice or something but is all we got was robbed of our cash, belongings, and dignity! Treated like trash robbed of our nights we did pay for and deserve to not be homeless for a few more nights! Also besides the only SWEET thing about mesa inn was the nice and non judgmental receptionist who got her head bitten off for thing she had no control over THANK U TO HER 28th of February around nine o'clock Bobby this is America have compassion, lenyancy, idk maybe some emotion other then profiling a family by the struggle they are already having cuz KARMAS A U KNOW WHAT! GOD BLESS THE HOUSE KEEPER TOO CUZ A NON SMOKING ROOM SMELT LIKE A RECYCLED ASHTRAY, BREAKFAST WAS MORE LIKE ONLY BAGEL NO CREAM CHEESE, KOOLAID NO SUGAR, DAIN no ISH, cereal no milk, and ghetto shouldn't have that much security for me to get robbed also it should be considered stalking or spying at that level BOBBY HEAD HONCHO.

Friendly staff TERRIBLE management out by the air port pets allowed wouldn't necessarily say friendly, Manager Really a JERK far away from anything but the airport. Wouldn't recommend unless you book online get there before dark (before the " manager" comes on duty he chooses to work graveyard instead of day shift, because in MY opinion " He don't like or care to interact with guests" unless he gets to play his version of being a Bully and gets to be loud) online you can book a pet FRIENDLY room at the Grand Vista Hotel for $ 12 more that including the $ 10 pet fee. They have a great restaurant & lounge, indoor pool & Hot tub ANYWHERE but Mesa Inn!

When weather stalls us in GJ or if we are having a night out and do not want to drive 70 miles home, we stay at this motel. Although inexpensive that is not the reason. It is quiet, comfy and pleasant.

Very nice and helpful staff. My daughter stayed here for 5 weeks n they treated like family. Great people.

Great for the price. Towels suck, but the bed is surprisingly soft. Wifi is good, but drops in and out every 15 minutes.

Clean, comfortable roons. $40/night for a double. (Not bad). Matched online posted pricing without booking through those travel websites. Will stay again if I'm ever back through.

WORST SLEEP EVER! Slightly bigger room than at the crappy Motel 6 down the way, but not much better experience. Walls are thin, so all night I could hear the upstairs couple with everything — stomping around, talking loudly, chasing after their dog, talking outside on the balcony. Called to complain, but it being after 11pm, nothing was done about it, so it continued. Turned the air on cause the room was hot and it would cover the noise upstairs, but that made a loud pitched noise. Had to turn it off. The fridge also made a humming noise that got so bothersome, I had to unplug the damn thing. Spend the extra money and get a better hotel!

How Mesa Inn, in Grand Junction, was rated three stars I will never know, which is why I am writing this review. For the record, I realize that if I had wanted a sanitized, updated accommodation, I know could have booked at a more expensive hotel, but I just needed something for one night and I thought Mesa Inn would fit the bill. Some things to know before you make a reservation here: the floor was absolutely, disgustingly filthy, the baseboards in the bathroom were hanging off the wall, there was no plug in the grungy bathroom sink and the water pipes made sounds like injured whales when we turned on the water. Three stars. What a laugh.

I enjoyed my stay but the cops had parking lot blocked off at one point beyond the staff's control. So ill give them 4 stars anyway.

Worked out just fine for 2 nights. Pros: Great housekeeping service! Free cold/hot water always available. Breakfast option included apples, bananas, hardboiled eggs, and oatmeal not just wheat pastries. Outgoing mail drop-off. On the sketchy side, holes in the bedding and blanket. Also, guests pass by the rooms so there's not a lot of privacy if curtain is open.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the pool was clean as well. The breakfast hours were great. It was an amazing price, I have paid a lot more for worst rooms! It was quiet at night and the steaming hot shower was amazing!

First off they say they honor the online price, yet they don't and when confronted they deflect and make excuses, lie right to your face. When I asked to speak to a manager I'm told he's not in yet, it was 9:30 in the morning on a Saturday?! What kind of a manager doesn't come to work before his or her regular staff? Good job "Manager X". I know your name, I just won't stoop to your level of values and publicly out you on the internet, you know who and what you are. The maid staff are thieves, and don't do they're job to protect the health of their customers, yes that's right. Us the inconvenient pain in your ass "Customer" (that keeps you employed). You should care about protecting our health while we stay in your establishment, and actually clean and sanitize. Not just go through the motion and pocket anything left behind. So if you do make the mistake and book here. God forbid you leave anything of value in the room. Or anything not of value as they will take it too. They're not picky, just sticky. The room was disgusting, ceiling and walls stained, outdated and an obvious health risk. The popcorn ceiling you sleep under looked like it hadn't been painted or cleaned in 30 years, the overall room was so tiny and the bathroom smelt of mold. Neither my wife nor I walked around barefoot, because the linoleum floor was just nasty sticky and the carpet was crunchy.

A little stinky. No bugs. Clean sheets and pillows. Fairly quiet. Overall, not bad.

Really good value for a quick overnight stay. Breakfast provided but can't comment on quality / quantity as not everyone chose to be awake during the three hour service window;) Rooms have been refreshed with new paint & carpet. Bedding was comfortable. Bathroom clean & basic toiletries provided. Pool area clean & pool towels at the ready. Beautiful fresh flowers growing in garden boxes on railings were a lovely touch. Kids wanting to stay here again on the return home.

Worst hotel experience ever! At first glance, you really can't tell how bad this place is. I searched for cheaper hotels to book and read reviews. This one had about an even number of good and bad reviews. Well, mine will be similar to most other bad reviews. First at check in, the front desk clerk was actually very nice. But my card was charged right away, when normally it's not til check out. The room would have been nice if it didn't smell like an ash tray, and it was a non smoking room. The walls are paper thin, so you can here the domestic violence going on above you. There was a car with it's door open when I got there, figured they were just unloading or something, but in the morning the door was still open. Hey not my car, not my problem. Don't touch things that aren't yours. The shower is very small, and has a gross mat in it that doesn't come out, nor does the water drain, so your standing in water the whole time you're showering. I couldn't sleep because the bedding stunk so bad and I was so afraid of what was going on outside of my room. So I later found out that this hotel rents rooms by the month to junkies and parolees. My cab driver said they have to pick people up every morning to take them to the methadone clinic. I checked in late cause I got into town late but didn't notice til the morning that the night window is bullet proof glass. I promptly left the next morning at 6am. Every hotel on the south side of Horizon Drive, except the double tree, is garbage!

One of the cheaper places in town. I was a bit concerned when we first arrived… the place looks kind of ghetto on the outside with a lot of ghetto looking people moving about. The rooms were very decent on the inside. The water pressure in the shower was incredible! Had a good nights rest.

A basic room, but clean and a comfortable enough bed. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. TV is small but not much concern to me. Included continental breakfast was OK and consisted of the usual (cold and hot cereal, bagels, toast, pastries, cold hard boiled eggs, bananas, coffee, and juice). For the price, I would stay again.

This place is disgusting. The air conditioner smelled like mold or who the hell knows what. We couldn't even use the air because no one could breathe. The bathroom was filthy, half a roll of toilet paper. Says non-smoking, smells like an ash tray, blankets have burn marks all over them. The real messed up part, they call this place a hotel. This is a Motel… We got screwed because we chose a 2 star hotel through Priceline expecting a hotel and instead we got a motel.

Decent room at a decent rate. I would definitely recommend this place if you just need a bed for the night. It's clean and otherwise exactly what you'd expect for the price.

The room was older and was not as clean as it could be. Provided the bare minimum as far as hotels/motels.

Bed, room and facilities were good, but there was a lot of noise from neighboring rooms. (Walking, toilet flushing, etc) A better soundproofing would help a lot.

We got the rooms at $30 per night. Location is great. Room is not too big or small. Service is okay. Internet is very choppy and not reliable.

The price was awesome, the room was clean, staff was friendly, and it was centrally located in Grand Junction. Couldn't ask for anything more than that for a basic hotel! I would come back anytime!

The room is clean. Toiletries are stocked. Conveniences such as mini fridge and microwave are in the room. The only frustration I had was when I asked to extend my stay a day they gave me a hard time about honoring the discount rate I received online. I had to get on priceline and look up the listing for them to honor it. But after looking it up I want required to book thru priceline, he just did it right from the counter. Which means he could have extended my price another day, he just wanted me to jump thru hoops to do it. Not the wrist thing I've ever dealt with, but an unnecessary frustration. They were also unwilling to give me any grade in grace in the checkout time. And the lock on the room is buggy. You have to swipe your card 2-3 times to get it to work sometimes.

An unknown man opened our door with a key card at 8:30 am the morning of the first day we were there. My friend called out, "occupied" and he closed the door and left. With a rather detailed description, the front desk employees had no idea who he was or how he had a key card to our room. at 11:15 pm that night our room was again entered by new guests that thought they had the room although we obviously had not checked out. We had the peek-in lock in place but when my friend got up and slammed the door the other folks told us to "chill out. " the front desk people blamed us and said they thought we had checked out even though our keys still worked in the lock and shouldn't have if in fact we had checked out as the staff has thought. not very happy.

On 06/27/2015, we had reserved a room and upon entering the room at approx 2:50 pm, we noticed that there had been some kind of furniture fixture that was removed. Where the fixture once was, there was debris in its tracks and the cleanliness of the room, was less that satisfactory. Had I have had more time to complain about the incident at that time, I would have. However, we were attending a 25 year anniversary that was commencing at 3:30 pm. Therefore, I didn't have time to walk back downstairs to the lobby. We then left and did not return till approx 11:30 pm that same night. Following morning 06/28/2015, the maid had knocked on the door and I politely told her that we would be leaving the room in approx 45 mins. She said that would be fine and she would come a little later to the room. When we returned that evening, upon entering the key card into the slot, THE DOOR OPENED ON ITS OWN AS THE DOOR WAS NOT COMPLETELY SHUT. The maid had in fact returned to the room as there were fresh towels, the floor was vacuumed and the beds were made. I did email the manger "Bobby" with the concerns. I never heard back from him. EXTREMELY poor customer service.
