Very nice older hotel with no elevator to the 2nd floor where all the king beds are. Worth the effort to drag my stuff up stairs.

We are local but bring our grandkids here because they have a nice outdoor pool. But even if the weather is bad they have an indoor pool that even pool tables for the kiddos to play. The girls at the front desk on Sunday afternoon 8/23 were the best. They got us a room on the first floor with the door opening to the Courtyard and pool. I can't say enough about this hotel. Always clean, very friendly and accommodating they also have a great Italian restaurant on site!

It was a very nice and clean hotel room. The indoor pool is beautiful and warm. The hot tub is nice too. The outdoor pool is beautiful too and it is also warm. Room service is very kind. They have dog sitting too. It may look small from the outside but inside it is very beautiful and big. They also have 2 restaurants, great breakfast, video games, and a pool table. Would go there again. Good for travelers.

I love staying there. I travel alone with my dog and both times have felt very safe. The night was comfortable and quiet. I was so impressed that the front desk offered to dog sit if I went out. (I put Dusty in the car but what a nice perk). The breakfast was great. I’ll be back. Thank you.

The room was very clean and I appreciate that. The breakfast had great variety including eggs, bagels, cereal, coffee and even fruit. The pools were fun for the kids but one thing you need to do is tell people not to wear clothes in the swimming pool and to limit the amount of people in the pool because it was very crowded. I enjoy the fact that there's a restaurant attached to the hotel so we don't have to go out again once we are settled in. The decor in the room is attractive, and the bed extremely comfortable. Good location as well, right near the freeway.!

It was extremely nice. The rooms layout was a bit weird and the bed was hard which I prefer more anyway but my husband had a hard time sleeping. Everything was clean. We got to enjoy both pools although the outside hot tub was a bit on the cool side. Breakfast was lush with waffles, muffins, ham, hash browns, coffee, apple juice, cereal etc. Only problem I had was the laundry room only took quarters as there wasn't a change machine in the room meaning you would have to have change or go down to the lobby. It wasn't a big deal by any means.

Great hotel. Well kept. The indoor pool was nice and the breakfast was top-notch. Only complaint was the bed was too hard.

Staff friendly & helpful. 2 pools, 1 indoor, 1outdoor. Honored our request for 1st floor (pool side was nice). Excellent breakfast. This is a much larger hotel than expected… could stay easily more than 1 night especially with children. Italian restaurant &;bar on premises… nice touch. Wish we'd had more than one night there but on way home so just one night stay. Well run & well done!

Located in good location. Looks like this inn has remodeled recently. Clean but bunch of tourists staying. And also many people start moving from 6 am. (it will bother you if you are not the morning person) Worst part is you can hear everything from next room.

I would stay at a Clarion again. The amenities: pools, recreation area, lounge next door, large atrium and breakfast were enough to make up for my room which smelled slightly like moisture from the plumbing. The room was clean though and I slept well. My room was on the first floor and had a door that walked directly outside to my car and one that I could enter inside of the hotel. Great for if you have a bike or need to bring a lot in for the night.

This is a great hotel! Pet friendly with no extra charge; not many places offer that! They do not want you to leave your pets unattended in the room so they offer to watch them at the front desk which is very neat! My dogs had a blast at the front desk helping!

From start to finish, this place was welcoming and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient, and the areas leading to the rooms were clean and looked well-kept. The rooms themselves were pretty standard, but nice and clean and bright, and the beds were nice and firm. I slept well both nights. The pool was nice and clean and the water was pleasantly warm without being too warm. The hot tub could have been just a degree or two warmer, but it definitely was hot enough to warm your bones after coming over the mountain, and hotter than at half the hotels at which I've stayed. It felt really nice and it warmed me right up. My only complaint about this hotel is that the hot food was room temperature the first day we had breakfast (which was a Friday morning). Eggs, sausage, and hash browns are a good selection for celiacs, but when they are room temperature you're left with apples or bananas. However, the breakfast was much better on Saturday — it was much hotter, and they had breakfast ham (yum! ). For non-celiacs, they have a great selection of cereals, and a couple of waffle makers. They also have various juices and coffee. I felt really comfortable in this hotel. I would definitely consider staying there again when I'm in Grand Junction.

Great space for kids and parents and employees greeted us around hotel. Friendly check in with snacks! Breakfast was fantastic! Staff anticipated our needs. Rooms were clean and refreshed. Double beds are small could be upgraded but worked fine. Micro and fridge worked. Kids loved pool and areas to play lots of space.

Good clean room, nice staff, decent parking, and a surprisingly good breakfast make this an easy hotel for me to recommend. Being pet friendly is just the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place and clean! The staff were very friendly. We stayed 1 night in a king room with our dog. They even offered free "pet sitting" if we wanted to leave your room. They will watch your dog and keep them behind the desk (I assume if you have a crate).

Just about the best Hotel experience I have had in a very long time. Everyone was so helpful and sweet. Clean cozy room. Outstanding breakfast! (eggs, waffles, bagels, pastries, sausage, sliders, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cholula hot sauce on each table — which is totally awesome) The pool and hot tub were great, also they have pool (the bar game) foozeball and air hockey! Just a lovely experience, we extended our stay there an extra night.

Staff is exceptional. They gave us an extra late checkout to meet our needs. When our nephew decided to stay with us, they added him and gave us another breakfast voucher without any hassle. Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. Game room and pool area are great for kids. Breakfast was good.

It is a convenient and economic place to stay in Grand Junction. Nothing too more or less compared to other main stream hotels. Room is clean although a bit tight. The hotel has an indoor pool and gym. It serves hot continental breakfast. The part I like is the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel.

Terrible experience. Couldn't find reservation. Check-in took forever. Then the door was broken so we sat on the floor the hallway with our bags until maintenance could let us in. Then they called us and told us that the keys wouldn't work so the only way to get back in the room would be if one of us stays behind in the room to open the door. At almost 11 pm they told us we could change rooms if we wanted. I don't know why they couldn't do that an hour ago when we asked. To cap it off, the free Wi-Fi we promised didn't reach to the room.

I give this hotel 5 stars for what it is. It's not the Double Tree or Westin, nor does it try to be. It's a nicely updated older place that takes dogs for no extra charge. The rooms are clean and the staff is attentive and helpful when needed.

Really fantastic place. I have had bad luck with clarion but this is the exception. Everything is awesome. Decent food. Attached restaurant. Pool, I will definitely go back.

The beds were comfortable the staff was very relaxed and friendly. The indoor pool hours are from 0800 to 2200, but as long as you don't disturb others they don't seem to care. There is a fitness center which includes 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 recumbent bike, an "all in one weight machine", and a sit up bench. It is definitely enough to get a sweat up. There are TVs, towels, and mirrors in there as well. They don't change linen everyday unless you request it. The breakfast is good. It is buffet style. They have on the hot line scrambled eggs, a meat item, hash browns, and something else I can't recall. They also have boiled eggs, fresh waffles, various bagels, toast, cereals, yogurts, etc… Pretty decent breakfast all in all. They also have juices, milk, teas, and coffee. The Wi-Fi is free, works good, and is easy enough to get on. However, the signal gets a little iffy in common areas.

Older facilities, but very comfortable bed and room was just fine. I would stay here again in a minute. 4 — 6 happy hour. Pub was lively with great service from bartender Kara. Breakfast was great and staff was attentive. Best thing was $69.00 for a king size bed!

Had my wedding reception there 30 years ago before it was a clarion but we continue to go there. Their staff is great and always helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There's good restaurants within walking distance. They have a breakfast there with good food and they are pet friendly with nicely kept dog areas.

Seriously, a really nice hotel at a good price! Clean, attractive, real breakfast, nice friendly staff, good facilities for printing, copying etc. Large atrium with pool and jacuzzi, a few pool tables nearby — — — I thought the design and decoration was very pretty. I was surprised that the vibe was so welcoming and prepared for families and business at the same time. They had one staff member stocking breakfast, and he was jumping, but explained that his coworker was sick and the boss didn't want them serving food and spreading a cold. And the breakfast items stayed hot and refilled quickly with a smile. Good place!

The room was clean, warm and much larger than I expected. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy which was great after a long time on the road. The breakfast was a great treat in the morning. I look forward to coming back here on our next road trip through Colorado.

Great value. We stay when passing through on road trips. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Oddly, there is a two inch gap under the guest room doors; lots of people visible stuff towels under the doors. The bed and pillows are comfortable. We'll stay again for sure.

My daughter and I went to check out the college in Grand junction. Upon arriving at the hotel We were greeted by nice smiling faces. Offered bottled waters and snacks for our membership. They have pool tables, air hockey, work out room and an inside pool. Breakfast was free with options of Waffles, bagels, boiled egg, ham, hash browns, muffins and more. We enjoyed our stay. Staff seemed family oriented and friendly. Even when hockey table was closed (at 10pm), I think) we were approached by a well mannered older security guard who said, "it's time to close up shop but go ahead and finish your game. " After the game we relaxed in our room where we asked for an extra roll away bed and extra towels and got it delivered promptly. Only complaint would be when staff delivered bed and extra towel. When we asked for another towel, she said "I am going to eat. It'll be 30 minutes. " She had a little attitude. Overall, I plan on visiting here again!

Rooms were clean. Double bed rooms were not comfy. Bed was too soft. Great for the price. Pools, hot tub. Pool table, air hockey. Breakfast voucher for each guest. Better explanation or hotel map would be preferred.

The place was very clean, staff was friendly. The room was really nice. Little extras here and there. One of the best hotel beds I've had the pleasure to sleep on. Hot tub was amazing, and we had calzones from the restaurant. The price was great and the value was awesome. They even had a sewing kit when I needed it. All around great time. I look forward to next time.

Easily the best pet friendly hotel we have stayed at. They welcomed our two large dogs even though they were a bit loud at first after being cooped up in the car for four hours. The atrium is huge, pool and game area is nice, and free breakfast has a variety of options. They have a small grassy area at the back with pet stations for the dogs. Rooms are a little small but ours was clean and well maintained. They provided plenty of towels. Check in was efficient. My only real complaint is the beds are a little hard… I'm also extremely pregnant so it could just be me. We would definitely come back.

Driving from East to West coast this was by far the best motel I stayed at for under $100. Big clean rooms. Great amenities and decent breakfast. Reception is open 24/7. I highly recommend this one.

Great value for the money. Hotel is a little old, but in great condition. Comfy bed, quiet. Super nice staff. Restaurant/bar was open till 10pm on a weekday. Free hot breakfast is lacking, alot. But again for the price, not too terrible. The only thing I wish they'd fix for the breakfast is having actual coffee instead of the instant coffee dispenser… I would definitely stop by again.

I enjoyed my night here. Check in was quick polite and professional. The first floor rooms have a rear exit that takes you directly in the parking lot which makes things real easy to get in and out. The room itself was decent. Nothing spectacular but it was clean and well kept. Quiet as well. Breakfast was included and it was good. Great variety. Yes I would stay here again.

Love it here! Feels more expensive than it actually is. Pools are great, breakfast is best I've had in a hotel besides Hilton. Staff is amazing. Casey at the front desk made my whole day. Grand junction is a friendly small town. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Couldn't have found a better place to stay and the price was excellent — $70! Close to airport and right off I-70. Everything was very clean. Great bed and bathroom. Wonderful hot breakfast. Thank you Clarion!

Very pet friendly, dog rooms are on the first floor and they smell great, I have been to some hotels where the pet rooms smelled. Quiet environment. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is much larger than expected. Spacious rooms, free breakfast, on-site Italian restaurant, 2 hot tubs and 2 pools, one indoor, one outdoor. Very kid and pet friendly but doesn't smell like either. A complimentary game area with 3 pool tables, 2 foosball tables and an air hockey table. You get much more than you pay for.

Ate at the attached italian resteraunt. The food was fantastic. I had eggplant parmesan and it's the best ive ever had. Prices are a bit high, but was absolutely worth it.

I was having a bad day and it was immediately turned around by such exceptional staff members at the front desk. Rooms were clean, bed was extremely comfortable and The Hot buffet breakfast was the best I ever seen. Superb!

Very pleasant surprise. Room was about as expected for price. Mostly clean. Breakfast was par for the course. The service however was superb and very helpful. The grounds and pools were quite above expectations.

Stayed one night while traveling to Denver from Moab. Booked online, checked in late. Room was clean but carpet had a bunch of stains, probably because this is a pet friendly place. TV didn't get any channels. Overall, fine for a quick night of sleep, but don't expect much more.

Good hotel, great breakfast. More importantly, great service. When we woke up the morning after our stay our car wasn't starting so we resorted to pushing it in an attempt to get it across the street to a car shop. Upon seeing us pushing, the Clarion maintenance staff immediately stopped what they were doing and assisted us. We enjoyed our stay and highly appreciate the service of everyone.

The staff was friendly & helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated in decor but clean. The bed/linens were newer, clean & soft. The room was equiped w/ fridge, coffee maker, table & chair, hairdryer as well as many fresh towels. There are great floor to ceiling windows in each room allowing for tons of natural sunlight. The rooms are pretty good size as ours had 2 beds, tv, large dressers, seating area, bathroom, seperate vanity area with hangers & a place to hang your clothes. They serve a full hot breakfast until 10am and also have vending machines throughout the hotel with snacks & drinks. They have a small recreation area with coin operated pool tables, fuse ball and air hockey as well as a pretty well equipped fitness room. Their grounds are well maintained and it's a nice feature to be able to enjoy the internal courtyard (which is much safer when walking your pets at night). The hotel is pet friendly and has 1 pool/1 jacuzzi indoor & 1 pool/1 jacuzzi outdoors and dedicated smoking areas w/tables for those who smoke. There is a small laundry room located on the 2nd floor w/ 2 washers & 2 dryers. The hotel is fairly large and there is no elevator. Also, I must mention that the shower pressure in our room was phenomenal. Overall, a great value for the very inexpensive price!

The clarion Inn is a fantastic hotel, the rooms are large abs the beds comfy. It's a great place for kids with a fun pool and gaming area. Ideally located for going to dinner and hiking in the monument/BLM land.

Phone service was good, I love the social area by the pool, but the rooms were hard to find and my lights didn't work.

We went there for a Christmas Party and the food and the service was amazing. I would definitely go there again.

Very clean room and super Freindly staff. Very fair price and the free breakfast was the best. Will be staying there again on august 14th 2015 thru the 16th. Looking forward to our stay. Great job clarion. A+++++ thank you mick morgan.

I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had at a motel. We booked this the day of stay on our road trip from Montana. I had stayed at numerous places in Grand Junction before but decided to try something new. We were totally surprised by the high quality of service and the great quality of the premises. The highlight of the trip was breakfast. My son who is 3 dropped his spoon on the floor. One of the attendants ran over picked up his spoon and threw it away and got him a new one. Totally unexpected! You can't go wrong the Clarion Inn in Grand Junction!

I was very pleased staying here. It's a bit dated (throw back to the 80s), but if you accept that, they have a lot to do. They have free foosball and air hockey, pay for pool tables, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) and they are all centrally located in the hotel. It's a great place for kids. The breakfast is a step above the normal continental breakfast served at most motels. The day I stayed, they served eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy. I stayed for a very reasonable price and would definitely stay here again if it were in the same ballpark as a Super 8.
