My now wife and I had our wedding venue burn down with about two weeks to go before the wedding. The Fort Collins Marriott, Samantha in particular, went a million times beyond any expectation we had. Our wedding was a success! We were able to plan our entire wedding in two weeks working with Samantha. Hands down the best hotel in Fort Collins. I highly recommend the site for your wedding and/or reception. Thanks!

The amenities and service at this Marriott were outstanding. Several reviews have mentioned poor housekeeping. We were MOST pleased to have one of the best housekeepers during the week we were staying. She was not only pleasantly friendly and courteous, but a superior cleaner attentive to every detail. Some people just get lucky!

Deducted a star because there are no microwaves in the rooms. Seems small and they do have one in the lobby but it seemed strange to me. Otherwise it very clean, everyone was extremely friendly, it has a Starbucks and a restaurant and is walking distance from the mall, Sierra trading post and our favorite TRADER JOE'S! the indoor outdoor pool was really awesome too!

I have stayed there 3 times and have yet to have a bad experience with the Hotel. Love the bedding! Also love the patience the staff showed. Each stay seem to bring on a different experience, outside of the hotel. Very helpful with directions.

The hotel was very good. Lobby and main floor has been upgraded. Room is getting a little but was well maintained. The staff was exceptional and very attentive. Overall very good place to stay.

The staff at the Marriott or one of the best. Always have a smile on their face. That is genuine. Grounds or well-maintained. The property inside the building very very nice.

Expensive but nice. Room service was outrageously expensive and couldn't communicate well. The hotel charged the amount to my card when checking in but then not before checking out, then charged the actual amount late so has messed up the balance on my card currently. Rest if the experience was good. Had a starbucks in the hotel and it was quiet there. No sleeping issues whatsoever.

We were staying at the hotel with our dog. After a long 16hr day of driving the quick check in was great. They even gave us a ground floor room so that we could use the glass sliding doors to the room to easily take our dog out to the field behind the hotel. Each and every time we walked by with our dog the friendly staff would always say hello and come around to say hello to our dog. Even had treats that they would give our dog. Very nice hotel also and very well located with easy access to shopping, eating, dog parks, and everything you could think of. I would definitely stay here again.

Hosted work event here. Good space and the food was decent. The cake and cheesecake desserts tasted like they had been stored in the freezer too long and had freezerburn. All of them. Maybe should have someone local prepare these. Companies are not going to balk at spending a few extra dollars on this.

Super nice and clean. Front desk staff was awesome. Room was pristine. Bar staff blew me away. Bartenders are world class. Sat and chatted with us for a while. Can make a great martini. I recommend the pom tini. It'll blow your mind.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Fort Collins Marriott when I was the keynote speaker for a 4-H Western Region conference in the hotel. I was impressed and pleased with the customer care and service from the catering, restaurant, and housekeeping staff! My special request for meals were met with understanding, satisfaction, and personal care. Our room was clean and comfortable and the manager went out of his way to listen to my comments and acknowledge his staff!

We enjoyed our stay at this Marriott. It was comfortable and quiet, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are showing their age, which I expected. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing, though we made it there late, which I'm sure didn't help matters. I would have no problem staying here again, but given some of these faults and it's distance from old town, if I were wanting to visit for a night on the town I'd likely book elsewhere.

Terrible. I decided I would go there for my birthday party with my mom and three bffs. We ordered two rooms and got the key to ONE of them at 3. It took them until EIGHT PM to get our other room done. That's 5 hours. Not only that, but the breakfast server was extremely rude, and one of the other breakfast servers threw down the tongs you use to get the bacon AT my mom and audibly grunted in disgust. NOT ONLY that, but they charged us more than what they said the price would be. Eventually we got a refund, but then they stole 400 DOLLARS off my mom's card on VALENTINE'S DAY. We ended up with not only 0 dollars in my mom's account, but — 65 DOLLARS MISSING. Step up your game Marriott, and get a new, more responsible staff. The one reason why it at least gets a one star is that Marc at the bar is hilarious and kind.

Everything was great here, but the only thing is the restaurant food is not good. I got sick after eating their steak until I vomited. The food is not appealing and overly expensive. We were here for a training event and the service has been great and the location is good. The hotel is very nice, but don't buy or eat the food. If I was eating the restaurant it would get 1 star. If they didn't have a restaurant here then it would be 5 stars. I don't think restaurants are all that important to hotels so that's why it didn't affect my rating so much.

Went to the Merritt for a work function using one of the convention rooms. We had the food catered by the hotel and it was great. The staff was very professional and I felt like I was in a high class establishment.

Great big hotel. Great location by mall. Love fort collins Colorado. My favorite town.

My father in law always stays at home this hotel for holidays when he comes and visits, and I've stayed one night, and had drinks and food at the hotel bar multiple times. I've always been very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff. The drinks are always very good and the food has been good as well when I've had it. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a place to stay in midtown Fort Collins.

This is such a wonderful hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfy and the common areas of the hotel are beautiful. The food in the restaurant is tasty and we had fun hanging out at the hotel bar.

This location is full service. The rooms have new carpet, wall paper and the carpet is updated but dingy in the high traffic areas of the room. The bathrooms are clean but the tubs are dated. When I arrived I was given a room with an excellent view. But after turning back the sheets and seeing hair in them, I called the front desk. They were very apologetic and moved me to a cleaner, smaller room with no view. The staff here is fantastic. The room service is also very good. I like that it's close to downtown and right near shopping. I would stay here again.

Excellent service and a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the gym is probably the best hotel gym in the area. There are also lots of great food options nearby.

Went for a demo of some cookware. Hotel bar right as you enter the doors. Check in desk off to the left. Looked to be several meeting rooms 's you walk through the main floor. The main floor also includes a gym, not sure on the details of that space though.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Nice pool and hot tub. Adequate rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to stores and restaurants.

We recently visited the Fort Collins Marriott for our daughter's 6th birthday sleepover. David L. And his staff at the hotel were amazing. We had such a fun time in the pool area and great breakfast at the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and comfy. Our family had a great time and will be returning soon. This Marriott is a must for Fort Collins hotel stays!

Drove all the way from Elko, Nevada to impress my bride with an upgraded executive suite I had secured for her. Got our keys and went to the room. Slight problem — somebody else was in it. Back to the front desk and of course, no suites available. Now sitting in a nice room that smells very strongly like old socks. The windows open so at least that helps. If you are a Marriott Rewards Elite member, note the concierge/M Lounge is closed on Friday nights and weekends. We are going back to the newer Marriott Westminster with their always-open M Lounge. We will never stay at this aging Fort Collins property again.

The hotel is very nice. The room is adequate. I had an issue with the television not working in my room and the staff was very prompt in their response.

Nice hotel and great location! We had a slight problem with our room and they were very accommodating in resolving it. Loved the gym too.

Hotel and room were wonderful. My only complaint is that the pool closes at 10pm. After a long day relaxing in the beautiful area inside or out later in the evening would be nice. Check in took longer than expected. The staff was pleasant but very serious abiut the pool closing.

I was here for a conference event located in the main ballroom so I cannot comment on the accommodations. Having arrived at the event on bicycle, it would be nice to see the Marriott get a bike share station installed so guests can bike around town. I was pleased with the event in that no disposable items were used (save for one disable cup someone had a cocktail in).

We have stayed at the Fort Collins Marriott several times. The staff is awesome, accommodating and friendly. I particularly want to mention Parker, Kasie and Amanda for helping make our daughters graduation weekend fantastic. We had several rooms reserved with some last minute changes and all was perfect. I went here for a writing conference and had an excellent time. The hotel is beautiful and they provided plenty of space for our gathering and rooms for the presentations. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help. The food and refreshment service was very good. Everything tasted great and was kept well stocked throughout the conference. This being my first professional conference set the bar very high in terms of setting and service.

Went to the wine fest. The marriott was very clean and spacious. The restrooms were well kept and the staff was very friendly.

My colleagues and I stayed here when we had a meeting in town. The staff here is very friendly and the lobby is beautiful. The housekeeping staff does great and it's near a lot of great restaurants. However, the rooms are very dated and don't offer many amenities that most similar hotels do. They do have a small coffee maker in the room but there are no mini fridges. Their television options are limited and they charge for Wi-Fi connection. Again, the rooms are incredibly dated. The sink appears to be the only thing that's been updated in the last several decades but the beds are very comfortable and the window shades block every bit of light! All-in-all, the amenities are lacking but the staff and location are great.

The hospitality at this hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff is very friendly and eager to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible! My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend away from the kids and they sent up a complimentary snack for two just because! Thank you staff at Marriott!

It was me and my husband's 2nd year wedding anniversary and the front desk host was very accommodating. The service was fast and thorough and the attention to detail was exquisite. My only complaint is the lack of a refrigerator in our room but other than that, my experience was lovely.

Service is wonderful! Front Desk was so kind and professional. The only con is that in this day of age I would have expected a fridge. Will stay again!

I was in the banquet hall for a work event. The facility was amazing, but the food was just alright. They also had Starbucks coffee which was unfortunate as it always tastes burnt.

The location is central to everything we needed. The facilities were very nice. And the front desk workers were always smiling and friendly.

Overall the hotel was nice… typical Marriott. However, we were very disappointed in the desk staff. We finished our business quicker than expected and called the hotel to see if we could check in early. We were told our room was ready, so we headed right over. Upon arrival we were informed that no, our room was not ready. I was livid and finally got the rather unhelpful staff to find an available room for us. They argued that we were checking in early and they didn't owe us anything. I pointed out we wouldn't have driven over if they told us our room wasn't ready in the first place. Ridiculous.

My son had his wedding party stay there and it was wonderful. Everything was 5 star.

I loved it! And I'm picky. The staff was really nice and the hotel had a warm and clean feel to it. I'll definitely be returning. And the food was better than the food I found eating out.

I've stayed at the FC Marriott for several decades with my work. Most of time I would have given them 4 or 5 stars. This last trip did me in though. I'll be staying nearby at the Hilton (where my wife has stayed before and loved it). The staff at the Marriott was short with us and rude. I think they are a victim of too much success (the hotel was full). No effort to resolve the issue with not applying the AAA discount. I'm done.

I stayed in the hotel and mysteriously clothes that I left in my closet after we checked out disappeared. I lost a lot of faith in this hotel over that.

I would love to share a wonderful experience we had with the staff at the Marriott Fort Collins. My daughter was to be married at a ranch in Loveland Co, on Sept, 13, 2013 and we were told the morning of the wedding that they were unable to accommodate us. We were stunned by the news and quickly began calling around for a venue to accommodate our group of 150 people. To our surprise and relief, the Marriott staff said they could help us. The staff was amazing and made our daughters wedding so peaceful amiss the chaoss. (This was the week of rain that Colorado hasn't seen in 1000 years according to the Huffington Post) The staff and facility were beautiful. The staff went out of their way to keep all our hearts at peace, assuring us that they would take care of us and our needs. They were all super professional had great attitudes and smiles on each of their faces. They wanted our daughters wedding to be a success, as much as we did. What is so great is that they did all of this in a 2 hour notice. I also want to mention that the food that was served was fabulous and our guest were so impressed as well. They were in awe that the Marriot pulled this all together in a matter of a couple of hours. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts for such a unforgettable time. Lorraine Stumpf and family.

I work at Colorado State University and we hosted a conference with 25 people at the Fort Collins Marriott. The service we received was exceptional from Michelle Parker, their Event Manager. Michelle made sure that every last detail was arranged to our liking. She was very well organized and patient as we determined the details of our conference. Their food is fabulous too. We ordered their Southwest Buffet and our guests commented on how delicious it was. Everything was made in-house, including their yummy salsa. I would definitely host an event here again. They have just completed renovating their entire facility, including their pool, gym, and the rooms with fresh modern palette and furniture.

I stayed at the Fort Collins Marriott for 10 days on business. Generally, the décor throughout the building looked a little past it sell by date. The gym was small and had below average equipment. The pool was OK but, I did feel the chlorination was a bit exceesive. The restaurant / bar had good quality food but the menu was far from adventurous. My room continue the overall theme of verging on the tired (though, my room had a Flat Screen TV) but, the one saving factor was a super comfortable bed and linen! My room was near the Business Centre so I could pick-up the free Wi-Fi service otherwise, I would have to use the wired connection at extra cost. I could not fault cleanliness throughout &, Staff were very friendly. I was staying at Fort Collins Marriott on business. Overall, I felt my stay proved to be not very good value for money.
