Stayed here the weekend of Sept. 07th through the 9th. Room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Found the king size bed really comfortable. Loved the kitchenette in the room. The only thing we found uncomfortable was trying to watch TV in bed as where the TV sits even with the mattress. If you raise the TV to where it sits higher than the bed it would be fantastic. But with that being said we would stay here again.

Pro: cheap, bed is comfy, & window unit ac is loudCon: Street light outside the window, bed creaks, old building smell, small tv, & visible damage to interior of the building.

We had 5 rooms with 5 adults. We checked in with 5 different credit cards and asked for the names to be changed on the rooms so we could get reimbursed properly. Upon check-in we found our hotel rooms dirty with one room still having bed sheets piled on top of the beds and the other rooms having no shampoo or conditioner. Upon checkout they did not change the names on the rooms and 1 of our cards was double charged which took over 2 weeks to correct.

Loved the rooms very clean big. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this suite to anyone. Like I said very clean!

Shak, the manager at this Hawthorne Suites SAVED us when the electric car charging stations along I70 were all either broken or in use and we got stuck. It took a good 30 minutes to figure out where I could park my car close enough to an outlet to charge it. He tried several solutions, patiently trying again and again until he figured out where to run a long extension cord into the parking lot so I could charge my electric car. I was so grateful to have that kind of help, it just doesn't exists in this day and age anymore and he could not have been kinder about the major interruption into his evening. The hotel room was very nice and clean and breakfast was good too!

I soooooo enjoyed my bed! Room was clean and comfortable. We were only here for one night. Had we been here for a week or so, a couch would have been nice as well. The TV was not working properly, I called the desk and within 3 minutes, maintenance came up to fix it. He had it back up within a few minutes while being courteous and friendly.

Rooms are a but dated but not bad. My biggest complaint is the stock pile of trash they put in the stairwell and sits there for days and smells absolutely horrid.

I'm a girl after long solo drive, no welcome but humiliated here, I stood in lobby helpless broke down in tears for half hour. I didn’t sleep well that night. I complained when checking out (12/12/17), manager told me the Corp will do something and let me know, but they didn’t. I emailed the manager 12/27/17, she told me everyone is on vacation. Emailed them again 1/9/18, reviewed 2/5/18, nobody reply me till now (6/7/18). What a costumer care! It’s not only the front desk, but also the management, their service & customer caring are just saying, even lying.

It was clean but the room was weird. The bathroom door opened inward and right on the sink. So if you want to talk while you're getting ready, you cant. U have to close it. Also, no fan in the bathroom, which was not great for several reason, least of which is to get the steam out after the shower.

This place is great! The staff are super nice and helpful. We came in at 10am asking to book a room (trying to go cross country without stopping, we failed) and they booked us a room on the third floor far from the elevator to make sure we wouldn't be disturbed. They also booked us super cheap even though we were tired enough at the time that they could have jacked the prices and we wouldn't have complained. Seriously great staff!

Nice clean and modern room.
Bed was situated so you couldn’t even see the front door, helped the room stay dark and quiet.
I mean for 75 bucks, it’s a great value.

I stayed at the eagle location in Colorado, in a 2 bed suite. I was there for three nights, but they only made one of the two beds, and only one time. I thought that was odd. It was loud overall, mainly due to it being a hub for budget conscious skiers coming to vail and beaver creek. Breakfast was fine, and the expected amenities in the room were fine. Nothing was great, or stood out, but it was all adequate.

When I went to check into the hotel after the 15:00 check in time they didn't know if they room was ready. The hotel staff was setting in the commons area chatting with no ambition to go check. We were asked to "come back in 20-30 minutes. " I had selected the "Mountain Views" and while checking in asked if the room had a good view of the mountains "why does that matter, they're just mountains" said the girl at the front desk, then they gave us a room that faced the parking lot. The rooms though newer were dirty, there was hair on the sheets and pillow covers, the bathroom was dirty. Thankfully the rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Though Eagle doesn't have a lot to do it provides easy access to I-70 to get you to other fun mountain towns. The first floor had a bad smell to it the entire time we were there. The key card stopped working to open the doors to the stairwells on the second day, when I asked the desk attendant if he would fix my card so that it would allow me access to the stairwell doors his response was "sometimes they work sometimes they don't" and refused to try fixing the problem. Evidently I wasn't the only one with this issue because the door remained propped open for the rest of my stay — by others, so much for security at the hotel. While checking out the fire department & an ambulance arrived, the staff was too busy chatting among their selves to open the door for these emergencies services and offered no help to check out either.

Not real clean. Bathroom smells like mildew. Very "dated"… My main issue was with the staff and customer service. Their printer was broken. When I inquired about the printer function, I was told that it had been broken by a customer last week. I was told that it cost $400 dollars, as if that were a lot of money. I suggested that after a week it would be appropriate to walk over to Costco and buy a secondary until the primary could be fixed. The desk clerk was clearly agitated and got downright short, when I asked if we could use the printer behind the front desk. It was clear after the second day that the management staff certainly lacks focus on customer service. We will never use that hotel again.

Very nice and helpful staff. Room clean, bed was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Kitchenette was clean, bathroom small but sufficient. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice place to stay. Jay the front dest person did a great job accommodating us… and also answered all our questions about the area.

Nice little room with a kitchenette. A closet & dresser for clothes storage. King size bed, pretty comfortable but not enough pillows. Quiet, comfortable and cozy!

Rooms are tired but clean. Indian food at restaurant is great. Staff is trying but needs more training is English language. Didn’t know what we were ordering from the bar.

Beautiful and convenient location. Staff was very good in spite of getting slammed with guests. Hwy 70 was closed down the road. Luckily we got a nice suite.

The staff was wonderful, albeit young, the amenities were ok, but the place was not exactly "clean". Things needed to be dusted walls needing a good cleaning too. Overall I doubt I'll be staying here again.

Magnificent hotel. It is clean and I really like that it has a kitchenette with very clean dishes and everything you could need. The best part, its only a short drive from Vail.

Great hotel, rooms are updated, clean, and spacious. The service was exemplary from every staff member I interacted with. Great hidden deal, I am glad I found it.

The wife and I stayed here for one night only. We needed our rest and we got it, and much more. The customer service was amazing. They love their Veterans too.

The king room was large by hotel standards. The staff was helpful and friendly. They ended the breakfast too soon as they were already cleaning up by 9:30. It should be at the earliest 10:00. It was a clean and respectable place where I would use again if in the area.

When we arrived desk clerk told us we didnt have a reservation… it was not a pmesent experience. Freezer did not work…

We recently stayed at the Hawthorn Suites for 2 nights for a baseball tournament. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, and breakfast was hot and delicious. We will be staying there again next trip.

The overall experience was very good. Nice clean rooms with very large beds. Also had a very good provided breakfast for free. Will definitely stay agian.

Small rooms but they are bike friendly and let you keep mountain bikes safely in your room. Place to sleep.

From the beautiful holiday decorations in the lobby and the warm welcome by Alex at the front desk, to the crisp sheets and over-sized pillows on the bed, the stresses of a pretty tough day simply disappeared. I give high marks for the recent renovations, too. Beautifully and thoughtfully done.

Fine remodel even though it is smaller rooms, without a sofa, compared to other Hawthorn's we have stayed in. Nice and quiet and we could walk to places after we parked the motorcycles for the evening.

What a delightful experience. I came to Eagle for a dog show and this was a noted hotel in the premium. The price was right so I booked it. The grounds were well kept and the outside appearance was pleasing. The interior was just as nice and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. To my delight when I entered my room I found a full sized refrigerator, a stove top, a microwave, a sink and a cabinet full of dishes, pots, and pans. One of the nights I even grilled steaks on a gas grill they had for guests on the patio. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was recently updated. You just can't get better than this.

Hawthorn Suites renovation is excellent! I stayed last year, when they were in the midst of renovating, so it was great to have the opportunity to stay with them again this year, and see the progress. Service was exceptional. I was in Eagle for a dog show, and they were wonderful to all the dog owners. I am also a Travel Agent, so I look at properties from other points of view, and I was completely impressed with Hawthorn suites as well as the wonderful staff! Thank you.

They offer very affordable rates compared to others in the area. It is not the fanciest but I was looking for comfortable economy. I would have given five stars but they are currently under renovation. Fortunately that is just a temporary set-back.
