This hotel was really great until I checked out and they charged me twice for parking for 1 night for a total of $76 when we had paid for our own parking. I have now called them 4 times to get my card refunded and the customer service is absolutely AWFUL! I didn't use my room key for parking and clearly they could track that. The 1st customer service lady said they were going to refund my card but I haven't received it back yet and it's 2 weeks later. Now I've called 3 more times with no help or response! BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!

I really liked this hotel. It's nice that they tried to make a mundane hotel fun. The front desk staff was also polite and friendly. My room was on the top floor. I'm not sure if that floor or that room has AC issues. My AC unit was very loud (which they somewhat fixed) and it would not cool below 74. They gave us free breakfast one morning and the food and service in the Office was good. All in all, I'd probably try some place else next time because I really do need a cool room for comfortable sleeping.

Cool themed floors, exceptional staff and excellent location. That being said, we felt our room was very small for the price. Maybe it's because we booked on a discount website. A few of the rooms around us we're open for cleaning when we arrived and they were significantly larger. We had a queen bed and only a few feet of room on either side to move around. The room and bathroom were very clean, but the shower curtain was such that water got everywhere while showering. Breakfast from the adjacent restaurant was excellent. Given the price and small room, we'll probably try out one of the other many nearby hotels next time. Especially frustrating that the day after we booked the advertised price for a room went down $80.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the floors all had cool themes. The restaurant in house, The Corner Office, had some AMAZING breakfast. We were within walking distance of everything that we did but still stayed in a safe area. Downsides were that we had stained sheets upon arrival and that the hotel charges guests for parking. We told the front desk about the sheets but they did not change them until the next day. As hotel patrons, we were surprised and disappointed that the $35/night parking garage fee also applied to our vehicle. Other than these annoyances, the room was spacey and we had a comfortable stay.

Such a cool and unique hotel! I was on the fun and games floor, which was made to feel like you are in the pac man game. All employees I encounter were super friendly, professional, and helpful. Also, the cookies on arrival are great!

This hotel gets creativity points for the floors being different themes. I loved floor 13: The Horror Floor even though I stayed on 12. The fitness center is one of the best I've ever experienced while staying at a hotel. The beds & pillows were so cozy I felt like I sank into my bed. Very centrally located and walkable downtown.

The best part about this hotel is the location. It's in a nice part of the downtown and you can walk to a ton of restaurants and venues. Each floor has a different theme and some are much better than others (shout out to the horror and games floor). However, the rooms on the floors are NOT matched to the associated theme; the hallways for the floor have theming all over them, the individual rooms do not. Rooms themselves are contemporary and sleek.

A fun hotel. Each floor is themed and you can tell it's all about the fun experience. Nice rooms but you're not paying for a 5 star experience. Some staff very helpful others just normal. Good deal for the price. Management is not helpful if you have to change your reservation.

We stayed in one of the "themed" rooms, which was a lot of fun. The rooms are clean and relatively quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the theme just added some fun things to pass the time in the room (comic books and record players in ours, for example). The staff is very helpful and the one issue we did have was resolved within minutes of calling the desk (fire alarm low battery started beeping at 1am one of our nights). Easy walking to many restaurants and breakfast at The Corner Office is exceptional compared to other hotels' breakfasts.

Good clean hotel booked with a discount Service but the hotel still treated me like in 1st class citizen. Convenient location in downtown Denver. I would have no issue tell you it's worth the price if you get a good deal Like I did.

Stayed one night in rm 716 because of a good deal on Priceline. Bedding and bathroom appeared clean, nothing special, but floor was dirty, pet hairballs etc. My main complaint is the hold that was placed on my card upon checking in, which continues to appear on my account. I was told it would be removed immediately, then in three to five days. After waiting and seeing no movement on the account, called today and was told it could take up to seven days or more. Would’ve appreciated more transparency from the staff in this situation.

Made suite reservation for my Husbands Birthday, upon arrival we were given the wrong room (standard room). Went to the front to let hem know the room I was given was he wrong one, they told me the suite I booked was already taken and it was a mistake. Was told he only room open was a hyper theme room (not a suite) and that is all they can do for me. When going to the room it was not at all what I paid almost 300 dollars for. When I called up front to let them know that we were not happy due to the mistakes the manager then told me I can get a standard room and or I can leave the hotel. Hallways were loud at night, security was called due to the noise. There’s also no free breakfast for the already high priced that was charged. Only thing good about the hotel was the view, will not be returning. Bad customer service.

Our room was cramped. It was $36/night to have our car there. Formal dining is the breakfast option. The elevators are small and slow. Everything just seemed really tight, even the lobby. Each floor has its own theme in keeping with the theater district which is interesting at first, but kind of dorky after the novelty wears off. Great location down town. Lots to do and see within walking distance. Good restaurants nearby. Friendly staff and a nice fitness facility. No hot tubs or tub in our room. When I go back to Denver I'll try to find a better place.

Loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We could hear the people in the rooms around us. Every word, every laugh, every step. Spend your money somewhere else. If we hadn’t prepaid, we would have moved. When you can hear a suitcase being zipped, $200 a night is over paying. Then they add another $40 a night to park. And most of all, don’t be fooled by the pictures on their website. It’s old and the unique themed rooms do not make up for being woke up at 7 am by the lady next door talking about her son’s broken arm and her sister-in-law having four girls and they were so hoping for a boy. Ugh!

Place is AMAZING! Their themed rooms are fun and different than anything else you have stayed at. Even their standard rooms are fun. The restaurant attached has really good food. The staff pretty much bends over backwards to make sure your stay is up to par with your expectations. My only complaint is the lack of a bathtub. Only a shower. This place is also within walking distance of DOZENS of places to eat and shop. Stayed here during a work trip, but almost felt like a vacation. ☺️

The view of the mountains from our room was amazing. Right in the center of Denver, it was convenient to enjoy the attractions of the city and its surroundings.

Comfortable and the staff is very nice and always willing to help.

This place right here is one of the most simple, fun, colorful, bubbly little hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. It's a bit cramped in some parts, but over all that just makes it more cozy. It's always a joy to live here for a few days.

Awesome room, great service. Only negative thing was the awful smell next to the elevator in the sub basement, and then around 1130 the building next to it started spewing what looked and smelled like diesel exhaust fumes that made the whole block smell awful. Everyone around us could hardly breath.

Nice rooms. Each floor has a different theme which is entertaining. Helpful staff. They are in the midst of redecorating. Excellent business center. Have free Wi-Fi available, plug ins on the bottom of lamps, an in room safe, iron, hair dryer, coffee/tea set up, refrigerator etc. It was quiet even though we were in the middle of downtown. The only things I would suggest are1. Have a microwave in the room. 2. Clean the stairwells better. 3. Have a handrail or a grab bar near toilet.

Quirky fun hotel, especially for nerdy adults. They give you cookies at check in… Even if you aren't a kid. Room was great, nice bed, mini fridge is a big plus. Walls are a little thin so we heard our neighbours having a "good time". Would stay again.

This place is so cool! The themed floors are different and fun, which makes your stay more memorable. The views are awesome too! The staff are chipper and talkative, and always quick to offer assistance or suggestions. Also, since the hotel is right downtown, you are walking distance from all the fun things! My only complaint was how expensive it is to have your car parked. It's something like 30per day to park your car, plus tip. Why is it so expensive?! It should be discounted if you are staying in the hotel. Still, overall it's great place and worth checking out.

The staff were excellent, friendly, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. The proximity to restaurants and some cultural sites is great. My only knock so far is the parking garage is a gauntlet you may lose a bumper going through. The exit is… weird. And the garage has a strong odour of something akin to sulphur.

Very nice hotel, clean and new. Only detracting factor for me is each floor has a theme and when riding in the elevator it announces that for every for stopped at. While that might seem cool the first day, it is pretty annoying for the rest of the week.

Fun hotel with great themed rooms and a great restaurant. My only complaint is their valet service, the guys are never there. The 5 times I pulled up I just had to lock my car and leave the keys with the front desk, no help with baggage.

Online checkin process was simple and easy. Staff was friendly and very pleasant. Room had 2 queens beds and feels a bit small compared to other similar hotel rooms. My room was fairly clean but found some trash underneath one of the beds. Overall it was clean and bathroom was clean. Hotel restaurant was convenient for late night drinks. Bottom line hotel is great location and quick access to 16th street mall area.

We had our wedding here and had such an amazing experience! Sara, the coordinator is awesome and was so helpful. The venue is fun and all of our guests said it was the best wedding of the year! Our pictures turned out great with all of the cool backgrounds. The girls got ready in the Spice Girls suite and the guys got ready in the KISS suite. It was just absolute perfection! Worth the price.

Staying at the Curtis hotel was a great experience! Easy to find and you can park your car in the hotel's parking garage with a fee. The hotel is located walking distance to the 16th st mall, which is awesome because you don't even need to drive, there's so many other ways of transportation. The hotel was very unigue, it has a 70's theme. Everything was clean and well organized. Our room was amazing! And the bed is super comfortable! I wish it had a better restaurant and bar and a swimming pool but overall I'm glad I stayed at the Curtis!

This place is awesome! Cool, high end rooms, very reasonable price, incredibly nice staff, I could hardly ask for more. Most every other review is positive, but they tell you a lot about then different themed floors, so id suggest just going there and seeing it if you like surprises.

If you want to have fun, and stay in a Boutique, pop-culture,, fun, fun, &fun. Not a bad thing if under high stress, and if on a business trip, this will loosen your spirits, right up, enjoy your stay, I stayed on the 13th, th floor, Here's Johnny horror theme. Very cool and nothing but fun, close to everything and in a great area. Enjoy.

The Curtis Hotel is a DoubleTree hotel by Hilton, but it has an energy that a lot of the Hilton hotels do not. The entire Curtis Hotel in Denver is themed around pop-culture favorites, with such themed floors as One Hit Wonders, Sci-Fi Floor, Fun and Games, Chick Flick, and more. The Hilton qualities are evident once you enter your room. Each room is modern, and decorated with various flare that matches your floor theme – some rooms even have classic arcade games.

I work for at&t and received a call from them trying to find an owner to a phone they found. Never in as long as I've worked there ever had a call like this. I was so astounded by their customer service! Awesome hotel. Would recommend.

Great hotel overall! Friendly, accommodating staff with spacious, clean, modern rooms! Excellent cookies provided at check-in! Great restaurant on site! Ideal location! I would recommend it to anyone and I'll definitely return to this hotel for future stays in Denver.

We really thought this hotel was a great value for the location and quality of the rooms. And the corner office restaurant/bar has awesome happy hours.

Great pop-culture themed hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. Close access to the 16th Street Mall and other popular sites. There's not a covered valet entrance which was a bit tricky since we arrived during a blizzard — would have appreciated a shoveled path into the hotel.

This place is crazy cool. It definitely has personality! Each floor has a theme. We stayed on the 13th floor which was themed with horror movies. Jack Nicholson greets you with, "Here's Johnny! " as you exit the elevator. The rooms have mod-flare. I often daydreamed of how much fun the marketing crew and designers had creating atmosphere on each floor of this custom hotel. And dogs are welcome, too.

This place was great! Hip, fun, friendly staff. Perfect location! Parking was a bit tricky, but it's not there fault.

Eh. Nothing special. Booked here because I thought it would be more fun and interesting than a run of the mill hotel. I may have been even happier at a Holiday Inn. I really wanted to like it whole lot more than I did more than I did. I'm a local, had heard good things about the hotel and had been to the bar a few times. We stayed here for a family celebration because it's so close to DCPA and we were seeing a show. The website makes it look so unique, but it really isn't. "Themed floors" just means there are some posters on the wall in the hallway. Calling it a boutique hotel is a stretch. Their "stay happy" mantra put a smile on my face because it was hilarious since none of the staff interactions I had there had me looking at a single smiling face. Upon arrival the front desk treated me like a second class citizen because THEY had goofed up my reservation and were trying to put us in one room instead of the two I had booked and paid for. The first room they offered me (and one of the rooms we stayed in) was the smallest one in the hotel (according to front desk staff), with one bed (instead of the two I had booked), and on the 13th floor. "You don't mind that do you sir?. You just never know when you make one of these third party bookings. " I didn't mind the 13th floor, or the smaller room, but the way it was presented was all wrong. OH I see, it's my fault my reservation isn't right because I booked online.

I stayed at The Curtis a week or two ago on a business trip. I had the WORST flight from Alaska down so to walk in and be greeted by friendly staff was really nice. The staff is fairly young, but again very nice. They greeted me with a WARM cookie and check in was a breeze. The entire stay was great, and the parking situation was easy as they have a parking garage attached next door that is $25 a night. The only thing I didn't like — and that I must have skipped reading was that each floor had a theme! Now I think THAT is need, but my room freaked me out. I think I stayed on the 10th floor, the floor of champions. And the decor in there was actually creepy enough that I had trouble sleeping. There was a woman's wall paper photo hovering over my bed and another photo of a young boy next to my bed and that just creep'd me out! Overall though — the hotel was great and clean. Also convenient for 16th Ave Mall walking or walking downtown to the business buildings. Starbucks is next door and the gym is open 24 hours. I might not stay at the Curtis again, solely because I don't mesh with the decor as much as I thought I would. But again, it was clean, the staff was great, the gym was open 24 hours, and It was fun to see the different floors. Thank you to the great Curtis Staff for a wonderful stay.

I stayed here when in town for a buddie's wedding. While the rooms were on the smaller side and very colorful and strange, the bed was comfy and I didn't end up staying that much time in my room anyways. It was also convenient to be located right downtown.

Spent the weekend at The Curtis. Smelled like sewer gas in the lobby and halls. The staff unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was grimy dirty-actually disgusting. I expected a fun experience and was totally and completely disappointed. When I return to Denver next month ill stay elsewhere for sure.
