Amazing place and very friendly staff!

Excellent check in, nice room with jacuzzi, park in front of the room. Highly recommended.

Pretty average motel. Rooms were clean but could use some updates. Breakfast was ok, but not fantastic.

Owner super nice. Lots of great improvements — beds very comfortable. We booked two rooms for our group and everyone was happy. We'll be back.

One of the best places to stay in Gunnison. Walk to center of town for restaurants and shopping. Smoking allowed in certain restricted areas outside which is a big plus for us dreaded smokers. On the other hand, pets are also allowed so if you are allergic to cats or dogs stay somewhere else.

Stayed for several days and couldn't be happier! I've stayed at the Holiday Inn several times, we ended up here due to a mix up with the HI. What a treat, local family owned and operated. Super friendly, very accommodating and new, clean rooms with excellent beds. Pet, bike and Toy friendly. A+

We spent 5 days in Gunnison awaiting repairs to our vehicle. We were fortunate to find a room at the Quality Inn. Michael, the morning reception desk manager, was friendly, sympathetic and helpful, extending our initial two nights to five when the extent of the repairs became known. He also let us know the best places to eat, and drove us out to get a rental car. The room was excellent, housekeeping was efficient and attentive, and the morning breakfast was always very good. We will be back, and will stay there again, as well as recommend Quality Inn Gunnison to our friends and family.

Nice quiet hotel within walking distance of the main strip. Served an excellent breakfast.

This was a nice hotel. I would recommend it. However the continental breakfast was subpar, no fruit. The rooms were a good size and the front desk attendant Amber was very nice and helpful as a group of 10 people rode in and requested 5 rooms. For as big as the (king) rooms are the TVs are very small.

Staff were friends and breakfast was good but that’s about it. Room quality was less than good.

I have stayed at multiple quality inns on the western slopes this is by far the grossest hotel I’ve stayed in in a long time. The bathtub was broken or not working everything was outdated and dirty. It was pretty embarrassing to say that I had stay here. Will definitely be looking for a different hotel when visiting the area next time. Also upon checking in they did not have my rewords number in their system and I also did not receive a email confirmation for my reservation like I was promised. This hotel has very poor customer service.

Comfortable beds, nice staff. The furniture in the rooms is updated, but the rooms themselves are a bit dated. Great rates though. Stay away from the free breakfast, unless you're getting something sealed.

If it is possible to give this hotel (I don’t think it is even a hotel) zero stars, I would do it. First, the design of this place is horrible, I have to drive around this place to find my room. Second, the room was extremely cold and the AC is loud and horrible. Third, the bed sheet is full of HAIRS and HOLES, and that I believe is extremely unacceptable. Fourth, all the equipment in this place are old and dirty and the breakfast is bad. I highly recommend anyone to not stay at this weird place, even if it will cost you ten more dollars, because you will definitely regret it when you first step into your room in this hotel.

Comfy and convenient lodging as long as you don’t come with any expectations of Gunnison hotels being world-class resorts (although Crested Butte, a little further up north, has that option). The staff is very accommodating and will assist you with any requests if you let them know!

The rooms were recently remodeled. Everything looked and smelled clean. Vanity is a great size for four people and their stuff. Bathroom is a little on the small side but they did a great job with the space. The room also has a mini fridge and a microwave which is a plus. Breakfast was great and they had waffles, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and sausage on top of the usual cold continental breakfast items. The pool was a good size. Some of the jets in the hot tub weren't blowing as hard as the others. There were male and female bathrooms that were big enough for multiple people to change in. It was a phenomenal little hotel for the price. My family will definitely be staying here again.

For the price point in this area the motel is nice and comfortable. We enjoyed a good mattress and shower.

Clean. Quiet — at least our room was. Easy walk to community park and downtown. Dog friendly, but not all rooms. Watch the fine print when you select a room. Breakfast: prepackaged foods mostly.

Great service stunning pool and very nice room and the manager Michael was great. Staff was warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay at this property again! Should have gotten 10 Stars.

Flight was cancelled, so we received a voucher to Quality Inn. There are only free shuttles to and from the airport, not around town like we thought. It was snowing a lot so it was difficult to trudge the luggage up to the second floor. The front desk offered to help, which was very thoughtful. There is free Wi-Fi and hot breakfast. One of the rooms smelled and we were able to change to a different room. The room has a fridge, microwave, TV, iron and ironing board. I really appreciated the men's dove travel shampoo, body wash, and deodorant. They even had a little Quaker breakfast bar in the room. The beds and pillows were comfy. The bathroom needs some improvement because it is tight. The sink is separate and looks much better and has a large mirror. Also, you can hear people in the rooms below you. Breakfast the next day had cereal, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, potatoes, little omelets, a waffle maker, and bread items. There was a variety to choose from. My favorite was the little omelet. Overall, Quality Inn is a good place to stay for one or two nights, but I wouldn't stay longer.

Last minute decision, so glad we made it. We got the multi room suite which is great because I am a night owl and my wife likes to go to sleep early. The price was amazing for such a great suite. The front desk rep was awesome. She was polite and attentive and quickly brought to our room some extra pillows that we requested. I urge everyone to give this place a try, well worth it.

Good cheap rooms. The rooms where dated but good and clean. Nice indoor pool and spa. Very helpful and friendly staff who are aware of the back country roads for a very scenic stay.

I haven't been here for longer than 5 minutes and I'm in love! Jessica at the front desk is an absolute sweet heart! She made everything so simple and really catered to us! The rooms are amazing also! We got the king bed with the jacuzzi and I never want to leave.

Absolutely perfect we loved it the people that work here are super friendly rooms are nice and big and clean the jacuzzi in the spa is really nice, couldn't ask for anything better in this little town of Gunnison. Well except for being able to get both of our Elks on Saturday. ❤

“Bed Bugs in room 118 ~1st night on our trip~ ruined our vacation~hotel has done nothing” Check into room on 6/26/15 Room # 118 ~ long and short review Short~ Bed bugs in the room~ Hotel owner/Michele agrees to reimburse us our losses~ hotel sends over survey~ I was honest~ Hotel owner/Michele calls after survey and says no reimbursements will be paid because I took the survey. Long~ Within a few hours we see a bed bug on a pillow~ rip sheets off bed~ see bed bug feces on the box spring~caught a bed bug in a ice bucket bag~ asked front desk to check out w/ refund and bags to wrap our gear~ At midnight we drive 40 miles to crested butte to get another room for much more than we had planned for~ next day find a bug on our dog bed that was in one of the wrapped bags~ call Hotel…no one knows what had happened the night before, manager calls 30 minutes later~ apologizes and says "we had a biker rally just leave and thats where they must have come from” ~offers to clean our clothes ~ we are on vacation and now have lost a 1/2 a day cleaning our car, our dog and bagging luggage~ we decline Michele’s offer and request a cleaner from Denver, ~ Gave up on our trip and cancel hotels moving forward, at this point we feel gross and just want to get clean and back home.

I have to say this was one of the cleanest motels/hotels I have ever stayed at. I am typically one that will disinfect when I go into a room the things that I will be touching and using like the phone, light switches, door handles, and of course the bathroom. After taking some disinfecting wipe through the room they were still white as if I hadn't even used them! I have to say that was a surprise to me and a definite plus for this hotel. The bed was comfortable but I have to say the pillows are quite small. The breakfast is why I gave only 4 stars instead of 5. The hash-browns were lukewarm and a bit on the soggy side. The eggs were also only lukewarm. They had french toast sticks that looked so unappealing I didn't try them. I did enjoy that they had bacon as most of the places only offer sausage and I enjoyed my waffle which was the only thing that seemed fresh and hot. The breakfast was edible but not up to the standards I find at other Choice Hotels. The staff from check-in to check-out was superb. They were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The girl at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Check in was a breeze and she wasted no time getting us the extra blankets we requested. I was surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel room! I have to say it was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The pillows are a bit on the small side. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.
