Awesome people. Great location. Manager Roger great person. Housekeeper Tasha was the best I've ever seen. She is very helpful and full of life. House keeper Ashley very personable. Friendly and talkative. This place was a very good place to stay it was safe also they make sure your safe here.

I stayed here for a few weeks. I was worried cause of the reviews but I had to judge for myself. And I am glad I did. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean. Outside is kept up. And it appears there upgrading Alot. I seen them constantly doing things. Management keeps out the Riff Raff. I Felt very safe in this motel being a single woman in a strange town. Definitely would recommend to anyone traveling or needing a weekly thing.

This hotel is in a sketchy area, with vagrants and homeless wandering the streets. The room was quite smelly; clearly there had been many people smoking in the room despite it being non smoking. My bed sheets and the chair were riddled with cigarette burn marks. The Wi-Fi is unusable during peak hours (before bed). In the morning it is just slow. It is no doubt a 2G band being used by several rooms, so you cannot expect reliable Wi-Fi. Be sure to check the bed for bed bugs, because vagrants stay there. On the plus side, the bathroom was fine and the price was not too bad.

This was a wonderful motel, I didn't expect themed rooms or realize how close we actually where to so many wonderful things! The staff was friendly, the rooms where nice & very clean! I would definitely recommend this affordable motel!

Great service! The motel manager is very accommodating and security-conscious (for those of you who are worried about that kind of thing). The housekeepers are really friendly and prompt with any service requests, and are capable of discretion when needed. The rates are great, and the location is phenomenal—just blocks from downtown Colorado Springs and the bus terminal. Overall, a very comfortable experience for me, and I highly recommend this motel for anyone planning to visit Colorado Springs.

Owner of this property makes fake accounts to leave positive reviews… My reviews are 100% true I live in San Antonio texas click on my name to see my reviews all over the U. S Worst experience ever in Colorado Springs so I started off on Wednesday I flew in from out of town after checking in to my prepaid reservation I was told there was a $40 deposit but it would have to be in a debit form or cash so I paid it on the way out the door the manager at the front desk notify me that there was no in-and-out no trafficking no visitors after 10 p. M. I was horrified upon entering my room this place is gross I had to wipe down everything the most dirtiest part was the shower it was so gross and pubic hairs hairs nasty all over the place and after his repeat shouting throughout the night to other guess from across the way was unbearable but like I said it was a non-refundable prepaid reservation so I stayed, I'm in town visiting so I want to have some friends and family over that I haven't seen But at 9 p. M. The next day manager kicked my guess out at 9:05 p. M. Really,, if you're colored folks or Hispanic folks beware these people seem racist, and to prove that I'm not lying I am posting all my reviews and pictures of everything there was a lot of stuff about this place that is really old I'm falling apart had to put a sock just to hold the door closed the main door has no lock that you could actually lock yourself in…

Traveler's Uptown Motel is the best motel for it's price in the entire city. The staff is always friendly and take care of any problems immediately. The rooms are clean and tidy. The property is well-kempt. Staff are always cleaning the walkways and parking lot. The building is nice and kept in top-notch condition. I stay here frequently. There are no transients or vagrants hanging around, like most of the other motels. Staff quickly react any time there are non-guests on the premises, day or night. There are several outside cameras that make me feel safe. Roger and his staff do an excellent job. Don't believe the negative reviews. Mr. Turbo is a local who didn't fly in from out of town. He was angry because he wasn't allowed to have guests party with him all night. And, the lady who says it's a "bad neighborhood. " Nonsense. This is a downtown, business district with the police headquarters two-blocks away. I do have one complaint and hopefully the owner will take notice and do something about it: The Wi-Fi reception completely and totally sucks. It doesn't matter what room you're in, reception is sporadic at best and sometimes completely non-existent. In this day and age everyone uses Wi-Fi when not at home. The owner needs to fix this problem ASAP.

Let me start by saying I stay here quite a bit, always get the room I want and it's always exceptionally clean. The manager Roger and the housekeepers are GREAT. Anything that you need, you just call and they will bring it to you. Don't let the bad reviews fool you, I've been coming here for years and it's calmed down here a lot with the noise and traffic in and out. One person doesn't get their way, they try to ruin it for others. Stay here for yourself and you will see. It's great for the price and satisfaction of being around good people. And don't judge it by the pictures on the website, they are old. It looks better in person.

They tried to downgrade my king sized non-smoking reservation to a queen sized smoking one. Charged more for the room than quoted on Expedia. Bathroom door was crooked in way that prevented it from closing. Dirty looking towels and bedding. Loud, could hear neighbors. Not a good neighborhood. Wouldn't recommend.

Excellent room at a fair price. The only reason it doesn't rate 5 stars is that during the day it has a little traffic noise, but hey; it's downtown. It is very quiet at night.

Walked in after a long journey of trying to find the ideal place for me to set up shop and go to school from. Rooms were affordable enough to get weekly deals, as well as nightly. Kim welcomed us with open arms and quickly found the best room for me and my belongings. Troy also was very helpful with suggestions on entertainment during our stay. This motel was great and very organized.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Air conditioner beat around all day and night, only to produce zero cold air. Lobby says Wi-Fi is available, but once you leave the office, non existent. The carpet left all of our feet black. Solid black. Loud, obnoxious guests up all night drinking… I could go on for days. I regret the day I reserved a room here. The Asian owner was extremely rude and confrontational when questioned about quality of the room. Bottom line, you're better off sleeping at a rest area and risking rape.

Great stay new management is helpful and friendly, housekeepers are great as well. Will definitely be returning. Regardless of some negative reviews the location is great close to everything and a plus is the view of pikes peak from some of the rooms. Rooms are very reasonably priced Especially for the location.

This place was great, the room was clean and despite what other people have said I had a great quiet night. The shower was amazing with a new awesome shower head and long lasting hot water. I will be staying here again in the future. I added a pic of the room I stayed in since I was impressed with the nice brand new flat screen and awesome bed.

Managers at the front desk were very nice and friendly. You can get the wrong perception of the outside part because it is clean outside. But as you open the door to the room you are hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and musky smell. Then as you walk in you notice the carpet which looks like it hasn't been clean for a long time. Which if cleaned I'm sure that smell would go away. The bed was a king size because the room smelled it gave you impression that the bedding was dirty. I do have to admit it I was actually afraid to sleep on bed. Because I wasn't sure if linen was clean or not. But linen was fresh and clean so were pillowcases as for comforter it did looked dirty and made me uneasy. The little things that we looked for they didn't have such as an iron, blow dryer, coffeepot. Those are what we look for when we go into a motel or hotel. They did have a microwave but it was outdated and had a hole in the front. I thought that could be dangerous if anyone would use it. The sink in that area had a small drip. The bathroom was nice but the toilet when you sat on it tilted. The towels didn't match and well used I got the impression that maybe they get families that stay there a period of time. There bar of soaps in a packet were dirty that I just waited when I got home to take a shower. My suggestion if this is a place that houses families for a long period of time. Then maybe then need to address that on their website.

People were nice… but room smelled like cigarette smoke and very old. I was actually afraid to sleep on bed. Because I wasn't sure if linen was clean. Especially comforter it looked dirty and made me uneasy. Carpet was dirty! Toilet like tilted a little, sink dripped, no hairdryer things like that… packets of soap were dirty. I didn't take a shower I waited til I got home. I wouldn't go back their again! It was loud up above us… they were afraid of TV would be taking. So they checked to see if we didn't take it. Understandable but we've got three televisions at home why do we want another one!

The rooms are clean and the location is fantastic. If you intended to have friends visit your room though the motel does have "visiting" hours and the manager is rather rude.

The facility is currently under new management. They are very professional and accommodating to the guests. The rooms are clean and the grounds are very quiet and secure unlike before under the previous managers. My personal experience allows me to post that my experience here has been very positive. I personally credit this to the new management team. A great place to stay!

The management are very helpful and pleasent, that is including myself, if you ever visit this review page, please note that an ex manager by the name of Heather Weddle was let go due to the fact she had the place looking like a trap house, and homeless shelter, she sit's up stairs smoking meth, she was caught on video stealing money from the business, then because she was let go has decided to slander the new management, if you want a nice quite place to kick back and relax come by and check it out for yourself don't take my word for it, just look at our in lobby photos of the place before the new management took over, never take the word of someone scorn because they got caught doing wrong…

Heather is absolutely wonderful and accommodating as is the staff. I enjoyed it here so much that I extended my stay for a month and will quite likely extend it for anther month. Clean rooms and great coffee. I recommend this establishment highly for any traveler who wants great accommodations and to be treated with the highest regard and receive priority status.

I booked a room here for two nights and when I did it said "guaranteed for late check in. " When my friend went to check in the door was locked even though the open sign was on. We called the hotel and a woman answered. I said someone is there to check in and she said we are closed. I said I reserved and paid for a room for two nights and she said "well we are closed! " and hung up on me. Rude and terrible service, I would never recommend going here. The itinerary also said no refunds but they best believe I'll be calling tomorrow and demanding a full refund. I'm appalled at the terrible service and rudeness that was just experienced.
