Definitely a motel. Kinda sketch, cracks in the walls, super load cause it's close to the freeway… Not ideal for a getaway, but sufficient if you just need a place to sleep.

The people at the front desk always seemed rude. They have so many little things broken, or on the verge of breaking. The cleanliness of my hotel room when I checked in was questioanle, and the upkeep during the week was minimal. Also, there is no pool here like it is advertised on 3rd party websites. At the end of my stay, I had called the front desk for a later check out & they gave me 15 MINUTES — what a joke! Then, the front desk guy actually came to my door 15 minutes after checkout & was extremely rude when telling me I needed to be out right now! Overall, in my opinion, the pricing is ridiculous for what you get.

Really nice staff. Free breakfast. Plugs were not working beside bed, but there are enough plugs to go around. And the place was maintained every day, and they looked like they were renovating. The pool is down, so dont think about swimming. Other than that, an awesome stay and great location for the price. I would stay here again in the future.

Very average hotel. Breakfast was good, but you have to time your own waffle. Beds were nice. The pool was closed when I was there. Very conveniently located for my traveling.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was dirty and I didn’t feel comfortable my entire stay. The walls were clearly stained and gross. The towels in the rooms had stains all over them. The light fixtures were terrible and you had to turn on all 5 of them just to get it bright in there. The entire place smelled like smoke even though we were on a non-smoking floor. That policy was clearly not monitored either because I saw numerous amounts of people smoking in the halls. The breakfast was very poor and what they did have didn’t taste good. Very disappointed in the advertisement for the nice big heated pool because we quickly learned it was shut down and didn’t look like the picture. Overall my stay was not pleasent and we tried to stay away from the hotel as much as possible just to not deal with these things.

Convienently located off the highway, I stayed one night here while being in town for the weekend. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. The water pressure was amazing, a/c was blasting cold, and the beds were very comfortable (if you like things on the softer side). They offer free breakfast in the mornings, and there is Wi-Fi available, as well as a pool. I would definitely stay here again!

First experience here and bad from the start kid that is at the front didn't seem to have it together, as we're heading to the room he comes up behind us saying that we took his copy of the receipt, when he didn't even give us ours, then we walk in to the room and it's all a mess. I call him about the bed, the trash, and the room not being clean and all he says is I'm sorry, no offer to refund part of the cost for the inconvenience. I will never or suggest this place.

Just plain gross! Will never stay at a Days Inn again. Looked like fingers prints on the wall, paint chipped, mold in the bathroom. Felt nasty just being there. We stayed for a few hours and immediately checked out and into a better hotel. Do not waste your money. Terrible area and all around felt unsafe.

The bed was clean but the room and rest of the hotel had a lot to be desired. The door mat in the lobby should have been my first clue as it was full of dirt and small rocks. And there was duct tape holding the door lever on the front door. We visited in early May 2018 and weeds were already growing in the rocked landscape. The room was not clean and there was a splatter mark on the wall. Looks like someone opened a can of pop and it splattered on the wall. There was duct tape around the air conditioner and the wiring looked very questionable. The light switch plate in the bathroom had the screws hanging from the plate like someone had been working on it but did not screw it back in. It made me feel uneasy about the electrical wiring. I will not stay here again.

Nasty. Worst and dirtiest place I have ever been in. Ended up leaving and going to a better hotel. Do not recommend. Oh also, when we walked into the room the first thing we saw was the sliding door wide open! Someone could have been in the hotel room. The sheets also made my boyfriend and I break out all over. I wouldn’t even give this hotel a one star rating, but I had to in order to write a review.

I was not expecting a great stay, after the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean (needs some improvements, but clean nonetheless). We were told it would be ready by 3, we got there at 3:30, still wasn't ready, not ready til about 4:30, but that's the only reason I'm docking a star. I live about 3 hours away, and of course I got home, and realized I left my wallet in the room! I got a call the next day saying they found it behind the bed (so obviously they clean behind the beds, not just around them, that's good) and that they could UPS deliver my wallet to me so I didn't have to drive down there again! How awesome is that?! Got my wallet back today, everything still in it. Perfectly handled, management! Oh, also, the continental breakfast was good, you know, regular stuff, english muffins, toast, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, but they also had a "make your own waffle" station! My kids really liked that and it wasn't dirty or gross, most of the mess was just from what the guests made, but it looks like they clean all the cracks and shelves, it's honestly really nice in there!

This place was awful. It was filthy. I don't think anyone had cleaned any corners, edges or in the toilet paper holder ever. The room had been painted yellow, over blue and white striped wallpaper. The lamp shade was stained from I don't want want to know what. The place is run down. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Water (? ) spots all over everything in the bathroom, including the mirror. I wish I could post the pictures I took. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Room was in poor condition, visible deterioration noted throughout. Upon entering room, temperature was very cold, heat had not been turned on at all (despite it being 35 degrees outside), it took majority of night for temperature to rise slightly, and room was never warm enough. Noted that the hallways and main lobby were cold as well. Shower had issues transitioning from tub to shower head as the tub spout leaked when shower mode was on. Beds were sufficient for one night but not overly comfortable and bedding was too light (thin sheet and thin blanket, no comforter) and not at all warm. Breakfast in the morning was ok. Only hot item was waffle maker. Juices were very watered down, the machine poured almost straight water. Coffee was equally watered down also. Overall this stay was well below my expectations, especially for the price. It was booked last minute as we had been on a very long road trip and needed a few hours of sleep to recharge for drive next day. Sad to say the sleep was not very good due to room temperature and inadequate bedding. And breakfast the following morning left much to be desired. There are other hotels nearby this location for comparable price that I'm sure are of better quality. This hotel is in serious need of maintenance and improvements. I would not stay here again or recommend this location to others and quite frankly I am leery of staying at another Days Inn location because of the poor experience I had at this location.

Front desk staff, on numerous occasions, have come into my room while I slept with a do not disturb sign on the door asking about money that is not owed to them for days. The rooms are falling apart as well, but not an issue compared to being harassed and having your right to privacy violated almost on a daily basis.

We knew it was no fancy hotel. But it seemed everything I touched broke. I grabbed the towel from the rack… rack fell. I laid on the bed… one side of the headboard fell. One of the lamps was crooked so I didn’t even wanna touch that in fear that it will fall off the wall. The fridge we got was not working too well, food wouldn’t freeze in the freezer. Breakfast was ok, you can make your own waffles. The juices they provided had little floating unknown things. I actually got sick from drinking the apple juice. So I stuck with the yogurt and oatmeal to be safe. The staff was nice at least.

This location is badly in need of updating. Rooms feel dingy. Of course the pool is "out of order" (does ANY affordable hotel anymore actually upkeep their pool? ) … But at least there's decent breakfast and ample parking. That's about the best I can say however.

The room was nice. Breakfast is okay. The cleanliness over all was not very good.

The good: The rooms were sufficient sizes. The bad: -the room was dingy and uninviting. — we had wet spots on our carpet outside of the bathroom which never went away. -they charge your card at check-in. -it seemed that many patrons live there full time which creates a sketchy environment for a traveler looking to relax.

The pictures of this hotel online are deceiving… the rooms were outdated and rundown. Ours had a hole in the wall, and even though it was a non smoking room, it reeked of cigarette smoke and there were multiple people smoking weed in the rooms next to ours. It was pet friendly, but there was literally nowhere to take our dog out to use the bathroom. The only positives were that the staff was nice and the bed was decent. Won't be going back to this one, which is sad because it has the potential to be a pretty cute little hotel.

Surprisingly, this location is the worst. If you're going to stay at a Day's Inn, the one off of Pikes Peak is better. This location is badly in need of updating. Rooms feel dingy. Well, this place is okay. All of the staff was nice. We had to unplug the fridge to use the microwave. The microwave didn't work well. A few drawers didn't open. Our hall was no smoking. It seemed as if everyone smoked. You could smell different types of smoke though the walls. The breakfast was decent. Waffles, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, muffins and other stuff.

If your looking for a cheap place tho stay it's a good pick. Over all it was ok. Clean bedding and toilet. How ever the walls had something dripping down them. Most likely because it was a smoking room. It was really close to anything you could need. Free waffles, muffins, yogurt and toast for breakfast. The people working there are really nice!

First off, I didn't think it was that bad. Sure it's no 5 star resort but for a short weekend getaway you take what's available. We stayed in a double queen room with an updated restroom. Cool, right? Well one night we get back to the room pretty late and the restroom is flooded. Water is just streaming from the ceiling of the restroom. Guess what was on the floor of the restroom? One of our bags SOAKED! They get us another room (keep in mind I have 3 kids that were asleep that I had to move). I ask for some sort of reimbursment and they say no that they gave us a better room and they don't do that. This place smells, is outdated and has some pretty bad work done to it. Pay extra and go somewhere else.

Pros; if you're on the second floor you don't have to worry about stairs if yoi don't want to because of how the building is formed around the hill it's on. The rooms are non smoking, but there is smoking allowed on the patios and balconies. The staff is friendly and helpful. Located close to the highway with wonderful amenities close by, but the highway traffic noise is not any issue if you keep the curtains and sliding glass door closed. And in general the room was comfortable and inviting, at least the single king room was. Cons; can be a little confusing to get to at first if coming from the west end of Garden of the Gods since you have to take Chestnut North until it dead ends, then right/east OK the road Chestnut ends at, then another right/south to get into the frontage road the hotel is located on. But, if you're coming from the interstate or anything east of the interstate it's easy to get into. Also, there was some upkeep issues like minor features needing repairs like the tissue dispenser and a tear in the wallpaper. Yet, it was clean and well put together despite these things.

Dated which makes the room look a bit dirty. Sheets did have a cigarette burn in them… The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was good.

Large bathtub which is nice because of my height. Very luxurious after a long day of hiking the nearby garden of the gods. Has a balcony which is nice. Owners don't like you to stay longer than a night or two. Will pretend there is no vacancy so you can't extend your stay any longer.

Very friendly service at the front desk. They assured me my vehicle was safe and have cameras everywhere (which a lot of the motels in this area could care less about. Someone actually told me to park under a light and keep an eye on it, once). The lobby, halls, and rooms are very clean, but could maybe use a little touching up maintenance-wise. The rooms are quite big and neat. I also like the balcony on the second-floor rooms. It's very quiet! Will come back in the future!

This place is horrible! It's not clean. Smokers in non-smoking rooms. Dogs galore. Housekeeping is very poor. Dirty moldings in bathroom. Dental floss and cotton ball left right on the bed AFTER it was supposedly cleaned. Isn't there some sort of franchise agreement that prohibits a property to be in such disrepair?

It was a great stay! After reading some of the reviews I was wary of what I was in for, but the staff were very friendly & accommodating. The building is a little dated, but there is nothing wrong with that. My room was clean and the balcony was a nice feature! The first night the air conditioner made a lot of noise, I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning and while I was out for the day they installed a brand new unit! I would/will return for another stay.

Called to make reservations in EARLY am, asked about pool availability, affirmative on pool. Get there at 248pm, laughed at by a "gentlemen" behind desk, says pool isnt available due to 'resurfacing' and room not ready until "around 3ish". Requested to cancel reservation, was told to call Expedia or an online booking service. When I never utilized those venues. A gal had to assist the "gentleman" by explaining I CAN cancel directly since I called hotel directly originally. Hotel grounds made me feel unsafe in the short amount of time on premises. We visually witnessed hotel staff milling & lounging about (not keeping house, probably the reason our rooms still weren't ready. ) we made reservations at a different hotel, while parked in the lot. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone that requires basic human respect. Management and corporate should totally retool this place, as the Days Inn Pueblo is a bit more refined and customer satisfaction-geared.

I have been travelling for 4 months. From NC to FL to TX to CO. I am a very clean and picky person however this hotel was perfect. Very clean and really nice people. I expected the worse bc I had just stopped at Two other hotels to look in their rooms and they were awful. But when I walked in 2 hours early for check in they still checked me in. The office was very clean and when I walked in my room it felt like home. I recommend this hotel to all who are visiting CO.

This place is a dump ive been dealing withroof leaks dirty room my daughter was plowed over and bit by a dog and ive had a guest stoking and harrassing me and my kids the front desk dosnt care about anything they are slum lords for sure.

Had to change rooms immediately because the bath tub was all busted up. When I tried using it backed up with nasty water and didnt not drain. Heatervin second room was old and didnt keep room warm. Didnt try breakfast.

Health hazard carpet not vacuum, mildew around sliding door, drapes coated with dust, lampshades stained, headboard coated with dust, (new housekeeping is badly needed), current one not doing her/his job, white bedspread with huge stains, worst of all its 17° outside so night one I heard squeaking in the heater I thought it was the unit, so the next day it continues only when giving heat. The sound sounded so familiar like a mouse, but I continued to ignore until I actually seen the mouse run out. Staff I have to admit were great, they placed traps so I stayed in the room until the heater came back on, but this time I heard the noise and something started burning. I truly believe there was a nest of mice in that heater. I immediately was placed in another room per my request, I'm just going to say second room the same but no mice. If you want a great staff stay, but if you are preferring a room, don't stay. Owners need to loosen the wallet and make major renovation.

My stay at this Days Inn, was from Oct. 2, 2015 thru Oct. 4, 2015. My daughter and I, were visting Colorado Springs area. We chose this paticular hotel, because of it's convenience to the university and the freeway. This hotel was a mess and simply horrible. The pictures shown of the hotel on the internet, were false with the exception of the hotel office. Upon, arrival we had to change rooms because the face sink was clogged. This hotel was dingy, old, outdated, and was in great need of a facelift. Believe it or not, old mattresses were left leaning against the hotel's exterior wall. I give this hotel a one rating, because the staff was pleasant and professional too. If, this was not enough our last day there, we could not use our bathroom, because the toilet was clogged too. Please, do not I repeat do not, consider staying at this hotel. There are two other Days Inn's in the Colorado Springs area.

My wife and I did look on line and find the hotel atractive with very nice pictures now the reality is the worst hotel ever scratches every where on the wall broken bath tub mold on the wall smoking smell overflowing trash outside we turned and left.

I am not sure about all the negative reviews about this Days Inn… but I can rate the service and general state of my hotel room 5 stars. I literally flew into Colorado yesterday afternoon from Hawaii. I was set to move into an apartment at on N. Nevada until I received the keys and walked through the apt which turned out to be in rough condition… at that point I decided to return the keys and apt to the leasing office, cabbed to Days Inn GOG. Check in was a breeze and priced very well for 2 nights. I arrived with several suitcases and was unable to move it all myself but the staff was more than happy to help me move everything into my room. I stayed in room 112 non smoking king size bed. Its been snowing since I arrived… the heater works wonderfully, not too hot. The room has its own back patio with a sliding glass door and is very secure. The bed is comfortable. I have had no problems with the Wi-Fi. Everything was clean. The other guests I've encountered have been nice. Ive not witnessed any police activities on the property. The furniture is outdated but again this isn't the hilton, its expensive to operate a hotel. I can't speak to the state of the landry room or pool area but overall I have had a good stay here… oh and I have found no bed bugs or bugs or any kind (that doesn't mean there haven't been a problem with them here in the past but none now) … I always make a point to look. If I had to stay in a hotel again I'd have no problem coming back here.
