This hotel is awful. They don’t clean their rooms when you stay and they are rude. When you pay $600 for 3 nights in a suite, you expect them to clean. Don’t waste your money!

I have never slept in such a hard bed I have visited many hotels but like this I do not children running wings 9 at night and they do not give anything neither their family nor the manager.

Every time our family visits canon best western is our first choice hotel! The staff is amazing! The pool and hot tub is open until 10pm! They have late checkout and they always provide the best service with extra pillow, towels, and washcloths. Rooms are large and so clean. Thank you for exceeding our expectations every time!

The staff was friendly, the pool was nice, and the room was clean. The only real issue we had was noise. We could hear every single person that walked the hallway and the people in the room above us were very loud, waking myself and my one year old several times throughout the night with their stomping and running.

My family and I have stayed here several times. Every time we check in we are welcomed back and treated with nothing but the upmost respect. Our most recent visit was nothing less than amazing. This time we are traveling with our 2 small dogs. Many places turned us away due to my fur babies but not this place. They welcomed us with open arms. Granted we had to pay a small fee to have them with us but It was not a problem. I look forward to our next visit.

Both beds had a ton of bed bugs and the man at the front desk was very rude. I will never stay at this place again.

Bed bugs poor service the man at the counter was incredibly rude about the whole situation unclean bathrooms and just total disarray and unkept rooms with horrible staff up front that gets snippy when you say anything about it and threatens you if you say youre going to report it! don't waste you're time or money here Canon has better to offer then this.

Stayed here for an overnight to avoid incoming blizzard up the mountain at my home. Friendly staff, nicely updated throughout, tasty breakfast options and flavored coffee syrups. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Compared to the the Hampton this place is great! Great staff, they are professional and very nice. My room was clean and nice! The only down fall is the outlets by the bed do not work.

Beautiful hotel for the price, well kept grounds with modern multicolored lighting. Room was clean, staff was helpful when we needed more soap or towels. Breakfast was better than most, with anything you could possibly want. Pancakes. Sausage and gravy, cereal, toast, waffles and fresh fruit. Chilis restaurant in the parking lot that is open late for some decent eats and cocktails late at night.

Probably the nicest hotel in Canon city. Location is very convenient, the staff is very friendly, and the rooms are nice. Did I mention that they have a great breakfast available, free, every morning? UPDATE: I have stayed at this same hotel an additional two times and a different Best Western in another nearby city. Each one has been great! I'm upgrading to 5 stars since I recently made the mistake of staying in a Holiday Inn Express (see my review) and in that light, the BW chain is really amazing.

I am a smoker and I was happy to see that they had benches outside to sit on while I smoked. Most hotels have ashtrays but nowhere to sit. The hot tub was clean and had nice pressure. The breakfast was great. Lots of options and everything was full and fresh.

This is a great Best Western! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool, sauna and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was outstanding as well as the service! Front desk staff was so nice and made sure we felt at home. I would highly recommend this hotel! I've never had a staff go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed!

Very poor customer service! Cloudy greenish pool. My kids did not want to swim in. I asked about it and the man at the front seat said it was the walls that made it look like that. Personally I think he was wrong! We had a question for the manager about changing our reservation through Orbitz and the lady behind the desk said he was too busy to talk to us. And that he would not do anything about it. She had worked there for 5 years. We wanted to transfer our reservation to another location and they wouldn’t do it. We have had another location work with us no Problem!

My husband, 6 year old and 8 year old stayed at this hotel June 4, 2018. We had a nice stay. We used the pool and hot tub and had breakfast. It had a nice sized pool and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. Our only wish was for the hot tub to be about 5-10 degrees cooler, and the pool to be about 5-10 degrees warmer.

This was a very nice property that was well maintained by all the staff. Front desk staff was very friendly. The maintenance and housekeeping were very professional and worked quickly to attend to a air condition problem. The breakfast was good and the eating area was very clean. The garden area in the back was very pretty and created a nice area to relax outside of our room. It was very obvious that all of the staff took pride in their job at this hotel. So nice to see this and to feel so well taken care of,

Man who checked us in at the front desk was creepy! I asked about lighting, (need complete darkness to sleep, so didn’t want a room directly in the light of a parking lot light pole) He didn’t even let me finish before he blurted out that “HE” had 30 some cameras he can watch on the premise. I wasn’t creeped out until he mentioned that and how quick he was to say “he” had them. I then went to grab luggage out of the car after getting into the room, and he was strolling around the hallways, opposite end of the front desk. He also noticed, I booked a double room, but only one adult. (Booked it quickly enroute to the town after hiking all day) Was very adamant about who was in the room. Asking the same question multiple times. Any other adult, and children? No children with you? Thank goodness I did have someone staying with me, otherwise I would have checked out and paid for a room elsewhere to avoid coming in contact with him again. Travel solo often, and this was the first time I’ve encountered a bad vibe.

Booked a room here Fri night, weather conditions were horrible cars on side of road and several accidents on highway. We had to turn around and stay in Colo Springs which thank god made it safely. Best Western would not refund us nor even be halfway understanding, I understand their policies but I think if mother nature is in the equation some type of sympathy should be taken into consideration. It’s ok poor business decision on their part not only will I not book here again, but I not recommend this property to anyone.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If we were to return to Canon City we would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were amazing, the breakfast was great. We came to visit from Oklahoma and our kids and my husband and I felt welcomed by staff the whole time we were there. If you want a great experience, this is the hotel to go to!

The breakfast was awesome an the staff are friendly. I stayed here with my 1 1\2 year old son an he had a blast an the staff loved him. Love this hotel I will come back again when I can.

The most incredible stays at this Best Western Hotel! From start to finish. Amazing staff at front desk and breakfast room. Immaculate clean tidy rooms. Fantastic nights sleep on their incredible beds! I Love this hotel!

The staff was very friendly, and checked us in quickly. My bed was soft and cozy. Breakfast was great, I had eggs sausage biscuit, and some orange juice. It was pretty good. They also offered pastries and cereal and coffee.

I've really enjoyed my stay! Nice and unexpected amenities and staff. I had a fun time checking in. My room was excellent and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when able. My ONLY regret is that I couldn't stay more days!

Started overnight following a ride on the train. Fairly typical hotel. Breakfast is pretty robust: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, some fruit, yogurt, bagels, and toast. Room was clean and everything was in working order. Check in and check out went very smoothly. Staff was friendly and quick. Would stay again.

Nice little best western, friendly staff, and a decent pool. I enjoyed the breakfast… Especially because they had a giant bowl of chopped green chillies that I slathered on everything! Let's be real, green chillies make everything better. I also had a little interaction with the friendly housekeeping ladies, was walking back to my room and heard they jokingly say "House creeping! " Made me bust out a hearty guffaw.

Good value for the money. Clean and quite at night. Breakfast service was very good overall. TV was sort of low resolution, but acceptable. Workout room was clean with modern equipment. Close to two restaurants within walking distance. 24X7 coffee is a nice touch and the bed was very comfortable. The wall mounted AC/Htr unit seemed a bit noisy, but the drone of the fan was great for sleeping. I would stay there again.

Good value for the price. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast buffet was standard for hotels of this size. It was about 25% cheaper than the nearby Hampton Inn. For that I was willing to sacrifice a few amenities. There were no premium TV channels and that was ok at that price point. My only real complaint was that the walls were pretty thin and I could hear people talking next door. Fortunately they weren't talking much. Overall, the hotel was pretty quiet this time of year and our stay was a pleasant one.

Awesome staff! I enjoy staying here and will keep coming back when I am in town. Front desk staff Mike and Mark go out of their way to be helpful. They offer great customer service and are very welcoming. This hotel is kept clean and is very comfortable. Management and Maintenance are quick and attentive if there are issues. Everyone is super friendly!

This was the best Best Western I've ever stayed at! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool, sauna and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was outstanding as well as the service! Front desk staff was so nice and made sure we felt at home. I would highly recommend this hotel! I've never had a staff go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed!

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and competent, and the pool area was clean and well-maintained. My kids had a blast playing the in the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast was varied and fresh. Would definitely come here again!

Don't let the reviews fool you. This place is a 5-6 maybe. Hotel was not clean at all and I'm not that hard to please. I've stayed in better Motel 6's. It's probably fine to stay, go rafting, get drunk and go home the next day. Not for your family though. Stay in Pueblo or Salida. It's worth the drive.

Great, safe location. Wonderful room with very comfortable beds. Breakfast options are healthy and amazing! Front desk staff and management respond to emails promptly, check guest in efficiently, and answer the front desk phone promptly. Favorite place to stay in Canon City, and we will stay here again.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with all the typical items such as waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereal, etc. It was kept hot and refilled on a continuous basis. Dog friendly (for an extra $20/night). There is an IHOP and a Chilis in the same parking area as this hotel for late night eating. One complaint though was that they forgot to make up our room. We left at 10am and returned at 4pm to unmade beds and no fresh towels.

Front desk was friendly and kind. Got a handicapped to for 114 which was not offered at front desk but that's okay. That's why we have Google! Water is warm. Room is clean and organized. Seems well managed.

Hotel is clean, rooms were large and well laid out. Pool area was great with hot tub an sauna and well maintained. Breakfast was included and plenty of fresh items and varied. Staff was friendly and attentive. Check in and out was easy. Access to hotel is somewhat difficult due mainly to lay out of main road and side feeder streets. Hotel has weird long narrow design with only one slow elevator at one end. A walk from the opposite end rooms down the hallway to elevator and lobby is exceedingly long.

This hotel was great! Staff was very accommodating and full of smiles. The indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were perfect after a day of rafting in the cool Arkansas River! And they are pet-friendly, too. Highly recommend a stay at this location!

This Nest Western is in a *GREAT* location for traveling to the Royal Gorge area. The amenities are terrific too. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, and an excersize room, if you do desire them. The breakfast was good too. I love a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon soaked in maple syrup, and two toasted English muffins topped of either an OH and a one HOT coffee, on a Saturday morning. Or *ANY* morning.

I stay at BW several times during the year, and have always been satisfied. Only three stars due to the fact that the dryer for guests does not heat to dry clothes, and they only have one washer and one dryer, The dryer not working is not a new issue, I mentioned it last year when I was there. And the pillows are horrible. If possible take your own. The employees are nice, willing to help. The breakfast is delicious.

It was a clean room. The breakfast was decent. The pool area was nice. Only thing that wasn't great was the loudness of other guests walking around as the floors presents a sound for every footstep you make.

My grandson and I drove to Cannon City Co. We really enjoyed our room. Staff is awesome.
It is a very clean hotel, very friendly staff. All employees in the breakfast room are very courteous and friendly. I recommend if anyone is wanting to get away and stay in a nice clean hotel this is the hotel to be at.
We came to visit my son in Florence Colorado. But I came a day early checked in on the 11th and stayed an extra day and check out on the 14th just because it's so relaxing and quiet.

I almost hate leaving getting back to reality of every day life LOL. I want to thank Best Western for all that you've done and all that you do to make everyone happy.

When I checked in I told they guy I had 4 kids and he told me well I have to put you on the second floor I better not hear your kids jumping or running cause we don't normally have a lot of kids then we had them call and come up to our room to tell us guest are complaining I felt like my kids couldn't speak or walk or even have fun I know that my kids couldn't be screaming running threw the halls. All my kids know respect but then again they are kids they won't be perfect I am just so upset my husband and I didn't even want to go back!

This place was the best hotel we've stayed at on our adventures across Colorado. Front desk clerk was amazing and needs a raise. The breakfast was over whelming and taste great… There was so much to choose from. Thank u canon city best Western your hotel deserve a 10 stars!

Clean rooms. Hallways smelled on first floor. Could be from the indoor pool — paid $151 per night — I believe it's because of location. Prices not as high in nearby cities. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was great! Full spread! Bacon, eggs, potatoes, waffles, biscuits/gravy, cereal, juice and coffee. Pastries. Staff was constant — keeping everything full and clean. Small area to eat — no place to sit.

In many hotels where I stayed, publishing have a hot tub or pool but after, arriving give you the story that is not in service. I like me that here everything worked very well.

I've stayed there once before and both times the facilities have been clean and comfortable. My cousin with insomnia even said he'd never had a better night sleep.

Great room, Great friendly & helpful staff — got paper every day at front desk — good hot food for breakfast and Chili's & IHOP within walking distance of hotel. Rooms were clean, windows opened to get fresh air at night. Water was hot and good water pressure for shower. FYI — don't have your room card near your cell phone or your room card won't work. Would recommend this hotel to others & will stay again.

I am in this hotel right now actually up in the computer/office room. This hotel is very very nice! AC worked very well, bathroom was clean, staff was incredibly nice. There is an Ihop and Chiles right across the street and it was great! Definitely recommend. There is a man at the desk right now named Isaac and I hear him talking to the customers so nicely unlike other hotels I have been to! Thank you.

Every month since June 2014, I and my clients have stayed at this hotel for business trips. I have been there at least once per month every month. I have always enjoyed this hotel. The staff have always been courteous, professional, and friendly. I have enjoyed that the staff always have great advice for local attractions to see. I have stayed every month for 14 months, and they always have tips on something I have not yet seen. If I've ever had a problem with my rooms, the staff have always address the problem expeditiously. The room is always clean. I've never had any problems with the air conditioning or heat. One time, there was a problem with the door to the room not unlocking properly, and I was immediately offered another room, and the maintenance personnel addressed the issue with the lock. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and a nice breakfast bar. The hotel is moderately sized, so it's easy to move around and easy to get good service. The breakfast is bar always has more than I can eat. My business arrangements have shifted, so that I will be travelling elsewhere from now on. However, I'm excited to take my family on vacation to Cañon City for the first time, and we definitely plan on staying at the Best Western on Latigo Lane.

Now hold on a minute! I never write reviews, but I read them quite a bit. I feel I need to defend this place! I am a Best Western diamond member, and stay at BW's all across the country frequently. This BW property was one of the BEST BW's I have ever stayed at. The room was very clean, quiet, and the breakfast was great! The shower water pressure was AWESOME! Disregard these negative reviews and give it a chance.

My wife, our 9 year old granddaughter and I stayed in the motel for one night. We originally was going to stay 2 nights. When we got to the room the A/C was off. We turned it on and turned it to 70 deg, the room never cooled off. I got up about every 30 mins all night and turned it down a couple more deg trying to get it to cool the room. The A/C would come on and cycle about 1 min then turn off. When I told the night guy about the trouble he told me he wouldn't charge us and he would move us to another room. He told me the A/C units switch themselves off and you had to recycle them by turning them to heat then back to cool and they would start working again. I told him he should put a sign in the room by the A/C saying that because no one rents a room thinking they will have to work on the A/C unit. He said he would call us when the new room was ready. We told him we had to go take our granddaughter to school that we would be back to switch rooms, when they got the new room ready. He said the manager was on the way and he would take care of us. We came back around 10:30a and the room was still not ready so we left and went to kill some time until they called us. They never called and when we went back at 2:00p the see about the room they told us they didn't have another room. I talked to the manager and he was very disrespectful and acted like he could care less if we had a room or not.

Seriously the worst hotel I've stayed at in Colorado. The walls in the room were thin and thus noise from next door and in the hall were audible all night. The owner was rude and unpleasant to say the least. Wish we would have stayed at the Quality Inn down the street.

Absolutely horrible experience. The owner has zero conception of customer service and staff are rude and absent. The continental breakfast was disgusting, complete with powered eggs and mystery sausage. I'd recommend skipping and checking out the Hampton Inn next door or the Quality Inn.

Terrible! We stayed there Aug 30th. We were given room 134 which happened to be right beside the outside door. Every time someone came in or out the door banged shut causing the wall of our room to vibrate and shutter. The noise kept waking us up at night. When I told the clerk in the morning he was very sorry and said he would look into it. He then gave me the bill and walked away. I'm not sure how it got such a high rating. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Clerk was absent for 10 minutes during a 'safety check'. No indication at front desk of where the clerk was, and she neglected to take the phone with her. I was about to leave when she finally appeared, and didn't seem to concerned at the fact that I had to waited to check in at 2 am for 10 minutes. Submitted a survey, and the gm replied from a non reply email basically dismissing my entire review. Seriously? Will avoid Best Western from now on, and will stick to the Marriott.

While working there I would have to say that the service was excellent as was the quality and the facilities. The front desk was awesome as was the General Manager. All in all I would rate this certain Hotel a 10 out of 10.
