Great and relaxing place to stay! They have a wonderful staff! Ashley (office) and Micah (security) are so helpful and nice! Great places to hike with beautiful view! We stayed at the flagstaff suit! Definitely will be staying here next time!

This hotel was very cute and perfect for our vacation! It's on the edge of Boulder so it's far enough away from the city life, but it's still close to a lot of popular restaurants and shops. It's a short 30-minute drive to Eldora Mountain and it's close to a lot of hiking trails. The room we stayed in was small but cozy, so perfect for just the two of us. Plus, we couldn't beat the price and the staff was so nice!

We absolutely loved the cozy vibes here! We stayed in the two bedroom suite, with hot tub! Absolutely charming. Everyone was so kind and happy to help. Loved the shower too!

I didn't forget about the review Ellie! :) The prices are unbeatable and worth the stay! It's been almost a month since my stay at the foot of the mountain motel. I am so glad to have found this gem on "Hotel Tonight", app. … Quaint, cute, and cozy! The staff, wonderful! Ellie was out go-to. Upon arrival, Ellie was so helpful and patient with the transaction considering I had made the purchase through the Hotel Tonight app. The interior of our room was adorable. The view splendid. We only stayed on night, next time we visit, we will revisit this gem and unique landmark. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, everything in working order as it should be. Continental/complementary breakfast, hosted such a nice variety. They have a cozy hang out area of lawn chairs where you could meet others who are staying in the motel as well.

Love this place! Sits on the Western edge of Boulder about a mile from Pearl St. Mall, right on Boulder Creek and across from Settler's Park. Old school motel from 1934. Free Wi-Fi and free simple breakfast. Rooms are clean but old. Staff very friendly. Recommended highly!

I worked on the weekends for a short while with this company and I had to harass them for over one month to get paid, needless to say I had no choice but to quit. They do not mop the bathroom floors so I would not suggest going barefoot. The workers are not trained on how to use any chemicals for the hot tub so get in with caution. The owners and management are never present and care nothing about their employees mental health and safety. The parking lot during the weekends is full of people visiting the creek, so the cleaners (usually 2-3 max) are having to do security for the guests parking spots, clean the rooms, and answer the phone all without relief or designated breaks. On several occasions the milk for breakfast was unknowingly served sour due to the manager not bringing in fresh supplies. Please tip the staff well, they are over-worked and for less than people make at McDonalds.

Room was too shabby for the price. No microwave, no available bottled water (or vending machines) no ice. Swamp cooler in the room because of no air conditioning. Very noisy. Staff is friendly but rooms could be seriously updated. Excellent grounds for pets however, and right across the street from Boulder Creek Park.

Neat place. Not your standard hotel. Log cabin hotel. Staff was friendly. They do use a cheap laundry detergent that I was allergic to unfortunately. It does look a little dated but the building is very old.

Loved this little motel. The rooms were designed to look like cabins, and were very cozy on the inside. They knew that boulder could get hot during the day and so provided airconditioning units for the room.

Small, very quaint don't expect much. Wifi, cable, games, deck of cards, USB charger, mini fridge rooms may vary but ours fit 2 MAX Price is great for the area and you can tube right out the front door, close to everything. Very quiet at night, no loud neighbors.

We stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. The hot tub was great, room was huge, and location excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

My favorite place to stay in Boulder. Love my cabin, love the staff. Location is heavenly with the beautiful Eben G. Fine Park & Boulder Creek right across the street. Access to hiking trails. Bring your bike or rent one. Good times. Nice, friendly fellow guests. Happy vibes. See you again!

I stayed one night, we had 2 rooms in my party. We paid the same price for both rooms. One was large with a full bathroom, the other was half the size with a bathroom the size of a closet. You had to sit sideways on the toilet because it was so close to the sink. The shower was very small and very hard to do anything more than wash your hair, washing body was rough and shaving was nearly impossible. Okay for 1 night if you get a small room. If you get the larger rooms a longer stay would be easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was a beautiful walk to the town.

Traveling across country, this is the best motel we stayed at. Cut and very comfortable rooms with privacy, easy parking, good quick breakfast, fluffy towels, really great. Also, walking into town is very easy from here.

This place is the cutest! When you walk out of your room, there's a mountain! The location is wonderful; walking distance to downtown and the Boulder Creek Path is right across the street. I would say it's ideal for couples, given that it has such a cozy cabin feel! A free continental breakfast was included that we really appreciated. Everyone was super friendly! Although the units appear small, it felt really private. I enjoyed the character of this place, and it's extremely literal name!

Stayed here for the night coming to visit my daughter up in Boulder for her birthday. Quaint, Scenic and perfect. It’s a 20 minute walk to pearl street or a $7, 5 minute Uber ride. People were friendly and it was clean. Awesome place to stay in the winter because your views are amazing and it feels like your in a mountain cabin rather than a cookie cutter hotel. Would stay again for sure.

Pretty good accommodations in a nice location. However the price is kind of high for the amenities offered. No microwave, some crumbs of food under the bed, the sink was very slow to drai and the door needs a weather strip. We had to keep the heat at 80 degrees all night and put a towel at the door. Overall we were satisfied with the room.

We have been in a small but very cozy room, perfect for a couple. Nice and friendly service and more than good breakfast: variety of juices, teas and good coffee, fruit, cereals, muffins, pretzels, a lot of cheese cream to spread on them and also jam! The location is great, close to Boulder downtown, 30 min to Eldora, 40 to Estes Park. Highly recommend place.

Nice place with really nice staff. Good for bouldering, it takes 10 minutes driving to get to flagstaff (you can even walk there). Close to flatirons too. Not disappointed at all for the price.

It is a quaint motel. People very friendly. If your looking for 5 star offerings, this is not your place. If your looking for comfortable room, close to town and good people. You'll hit a home run.

The room was small but perfect for a cozy getaway. The room had a very small fridge, a little space for clothes, a board game, book, and playing cards. The room was very clean and warm even on the snow day we had while I was there. The views from the site are amazing and access to a park that leads into town is right outside your door. Note: No A. C. For summer months, but it was perfect in October.

Beautiful location very close to the Boulder Creek trail for a great run or bike ride. Well-appointed, charming room. Breakfast better than most motel continental breakfast, including strong coffee!

This place is a little slice of heaven. I left my dogs water dish at our last stop, and the girl was sweet enough to lend me hers (because she was about to close and I could bring it back in the morning). Also the cabin like rooms are cozy and warm. Kind of hard to hear the TV, but that's not why you are in Boulder anyway, is it? Also they have this friend that comes around, he is a black bear that is about 3 years old. No incidents and he doesn't harm anyone. Just checks out the trash and heads back up. I didn't get a name for him, so we have chosen to name him Osiris, Ursa is bear in Latin and the closest to that is the Spanish word, Oso which is Bear. Definitely stop by and spend a night here!

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable price for a clean, beautiful little hat. The bed is very comfortable. The motel is close to the center of Boulder (15 min. Walk) but still quiet on the western end of the city. I can totally recommend this place.

This motel has so much potential. It is in a beautiful location, at the foot of the mountain, walking distance from Pearl Street, and near a beautiful park and river. However, The small cottage was very dirty and it was extremely hot due to the fact that there is no air conditioning. Also, the beds are extremely hard and we did not have a good night sleep. The staff is somewhat attentive but the girl running the front desk had a strange attitude. She was not terribly friendly. We did know about the air conditioning so choosing a motel like that is on us, however, for $200 we expected it to be cleaner and the bed to be more comfortable. There was dust and cobwebs on our lights that we noticed when turning them on and when we laid on the bed we could see lots of dust and cobwebs on the walls and ceiling. Also, the carpets were disturbingly dirty and had lots of mysterious stains. We spent the night and day in our socks because we did not want to walk barefoot on them. This place has so much potential and could really be fantastic with a little more help with the renovation and cleanliness. Again, the location is amazing and we would really love to say we would be back for that alone but I am afraid you next time we will have to find somewhere else to sleep.

Very charming location! Clean, pretty, nice room and grounds. They also have a great grab & go breakfast for guests. Only complaint is that the bathroom was very tiny and awkward to maneuver in, especially with the exposed water pipes.

One of the best stays we have ever had at any hotel/motel. So friendly, super comfortable rooms, and AWESOME coffee! Great location within walking distance to Pearl Street. Loved the grab and go breakfast.

Great little cabin motor court place on a quiet road very close to the action. Downtown Boulder is a quick walk along some gorgeous trails (10min tops). Also a stone's throw from the base of the Viewpoint and Red Rocks hiking trails.

Overall we really liked it and will probably stay there again. It was a little "rustic", our shower didn't have hot water at first, when we called the front desk he said that happens sometimes, he had to do something to it and then there would be hot water 30-60 min later (not ideal if you're running late). The walls were pretty thin and we ended up over hearing more of our neighbor's activities than we would have liked. But like I said, even with that, we'll go back. It was a great location and well priced for the area.

Our stay at the Foot of the Mountain Motel was pleasant. The room was small but more than adequate and the staff was friendly. The main draw back to this room was the hot water situation. Before we left the room to go to dinner there was about 10 minutes of lukewarm water, not enough for a shower. The next morning the water was definitely warmer but the pressure was almost zero. If we had stayed more than one night I would have been frustrated. We didn't ask anyone about it or anything as it wasn't a big deal for our stay. Overall the motel was cozy and comfortable, but we had a hard time with the hot water.

The place sucked. Bed bugs. And Continental breakfast was a joke. They barely had a pot of coffee. We had to re use our towels for 3 days. The rooms are tiny. I'd recommend it to rent by the hour.
