Spacious room, very clean! I love the fruit at breakfast, mixed berries to scoop, whole bananas. Relaxing jacuzzi, wish it had stronger jets. Nice-sized pool for this level of hotel, desk people are VERY helpful and friendly. Nice view of the Rockies!

Stayed here on 7/13/18 & 7/14/18. I travel often and have stayed at everything from above a 4-seasons to below a Super-8. The staff and management's attitude make or break any hotel and with the right attitude the staff can make you feel like a Super-8 is a Four Seasons. The management and staff at this best western were beyond helpful, hospitable and down right friendly. FROM THE MANAGER BEHIND THE DESK TO THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF WERE NOTHING BUT SMILES & HAPPINESS! The hotel is right on the edge of campus and walking distance to any immediate needs. You may find a more elegant room or grounds but YOU WILL NOT find better people. Only odd thing is the property and position of the pool on the grounds but once you're sitting out there you don't even realize it (pool is kind of adjacent to the parking lot, no grass areas at this hotel). 5 stars for attitude, service and smiles!

Spent one evening in Boulder for my husband and my 17 anniversary as a "staycation" night since we moved close. The price was reasonable and close enough to Boulder to make it the ideal coffee. Knowing it was our anniversary they upgraded our room free is charge and even provided a first basket of wine and treats. The staff were amazingly pleasant and congratulated us at every opportunity! It made for a wonderful evening and we really appreciated the small yet special acts they provided. Highly recommend this hotel! Thank you all.

This is the best Best Western I've stayed at. Clean, comfortable and all the amenities I needed. Staff was super kind and treated my kids like no one else! Whenever we need to stay in Boulder this will be my first choice. Close to CU, walking distance and a wonderful town to visit.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, arranged for wedding guests to stay here, and for participants of a conference to stay here as well. The hotel is next to the CU Boulder campus, and has a great view of the Flatirons, making it very convenient location-wise. The manager is also always a pleasure to work with. This will always be my go-to hotel in the Boulder area.

I went to check in, and they are telling a young woman, "I am giving you the best room in the hotel! " They check me in, and give me and my kids, a room that smells of mildew and cigarettes. I go back to ask for a different room. My new room smelled fine, but when I pulled back the covers, there was a spider in my bed. Then there were ants everywhere. I was so disenchanted by this entire hotel, that I accepted that we were sleeping with bugs for the night. I won't be back. It apparently helps if your young and solo to get a good room. If you go with kids, expect to get the gross room.

Used this hotel for a visit to NOAA. Can't beat this hotel for the convenience to NOAA, a 6-minute drive during rush hour. The hotel has a surprising number of in room amenities like robes and full toiletries selection. The rooms themselves were huge. The breakfast buffet came with my room. I enjoyed the variety of foods, but not sure I would have paid the posted $15 fee. However, the lady managing the breakfast buffet wasn't super-friendly, especially as some guests need the coffee before they're thinking efficiently.

Very nice remodeled hotel with small kitchens and a great location in Boulder. Staff was very good, breakfast options were adequate and rooms were clean. A good deal in Boulder.

Simply stunning hotel. Worth much much more than the cost per night. Excellent staff clean and apparently remodeled. Pet friendly. Everythibg you could want in a quick hotel.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty nice. Their breakfast buffet is tasty and had a good variety, including eggs, waffles and fresh fruit. They also had some bikes available to use for free which is a great way to explore Boulder (take the creek path! )

Very nice hotel. Rooms recently remodeled. Friendly and efficient staff. Close to stores and restaurants. Free breakfast — good quality and nice selection. Rooms provided 2 luggage racks and complimentary bottles of water. Good value. Would recommend for your stay in Boulder.

Very nice facility with lovely fireplace and seating areas in lobby. Attentive staff. Attractive and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Less than a 5-minute walk to CU’s campus.

We stayed at the Best Western while we were having bathroom renovations at our home. Best part was the breakfast, what a delicious spread of hot and cold offerings. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was a nice treat. Very nice amenities and staff.

In general, this place is in a great and beautiful location, easy to access, Friendly staff. We couldn't use the swimming pool, but from the outside it looked beautiful. My family and I had a great time here. Cafeteria staff were always friendly and ready to help. :)

Great location — easy access to the highway and Pearl Street. As many others stated, the rooms could use some updating (the pictures on the website do not match the rooms! ), the bathroom lighting is very dim, and the walls are thin (you can hear others showering and using the restroom). Additionally, the cleaning service could have used some improvement. We did not have a "Do Not Disturb" sign, so if we wanted a little extra peace in the morning we had to use our sign that indicated we did not want our room cleaned that day, which was inconvenient. At one point we had to find a cleaning cart and take toilet paper off of it because our bathroom was not restocked. You will only receive two towels for the bathroom, so be prepared to request extras if you like to use two towels when you shower. Breakfast was wonderful — a little variety each day, and we loved the fresh fruit. However, you are given breakfast cards/tickets, and there is one woman who works in the breakfast area who takes them very seriously — you almost have to apologize if you go early/come back later just for coffee and explain that's the only thing you're there for, as she will not allow you to eat without your breakfast ticket. Overall, it was a decent hotel and served our purpose well.

Clean. High quality. Good value. No smells. Up to date. Quiet. Had one problem. The television was restricted to such a low volume that I could not even follow the talking of a news broadcaster. I complained and was told that this was not an uncommon complaint.

Favorite hotel, as we've been staying here off and on for the last 20 years! Always great service and the amenities are better than ever. Love the breakfast! Can't wait for a reason to be back in Boulder and stay here.

Four stars for staff and breakfast, especially the coffee (best hotel coffee I've had in 20 years & real bagels, too). Three stars for layout of hotel: Must go outside to access breakfast, on a snowy & wet morning, not a pleasant experience. Also, short flight of stairs from rooms in the 100s to lobby were hard to negotiate with heavy suitcase … no elevator). Three stars because no hot water/coffee in lobby. Would've been nice coming in on a stormy night.

Nice hotel, liked the view and the fact it had a balcony. Very good breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable, with fridge. Kinda difficult to get to, but not a huge issue.

Place is definitely not in the Plus category. Nice location and breakfast but the rooms are just so-so and place is a bit worn. No dirty clothes bag furnished and defective coffee machine took 4 calls and two days to get a working one. Bathroom areas are very small and no towel racks in the sink area. I would look elsewhere.

I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff are friendly and professional. It is always clean and comfortable. Location is excellent for the Boulder area.

Overall we were very happy with our room and experience. Breakfast was great and staff always said good morning and were friendly! Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Was expecting a different type of room from the pictures on the internet. Would be helpful if the pictures were labelled with what type of room (price) they were so you weren't expecting more than you got. We were expecting double sinks and a lighted make-up mirror. A towel bar by the hand sink would greatly improve the wet wash cloth/hand towel situation, especially if you were trying to re-use towels. Could use another towel bar in the shower area too. Glad there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom! The "treat bag" in our room when we arrived was a nice touch, but there were two of us and only one of each item in the bag. We also weren't expecting a charge for the water bottles that were in the room… thought they were complimentary; did we miss a sign or something? The housekeeping staff always smiled and said good morning to you when you passed in the hall. We used the bikes and the pool while we were there. Pool was nice, but wish there had been a skimmer available to get rid of some of the overnight bugs. Would definitely stay here again!

The room we had was pretty modest and average, two queen beds, pretty comfortable. Fairly close to downtown Boulder and the UC Boulder campus. Definitely a recommended hotel if you're visiting and looking for a clean, respectable place to stay.

It was a five star sleeping experience with the most comfortable bed we've slept on in some time. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were quite clean. The meat in the breakfast was a little undesirable however and the fruit selection could have varied more. Lovely hotel and I'd definitely stay again.

Nice location, easy access to walking paths. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, eggs, sausage, bacon served daily along with breads, yogurt, fruit, and waffles. Pool, hot tub, and fitness center were all clean and easily accessible. Guest laundry was available for reasonable cost.

We love staying at the Best Western Plus in Boulder, CO. It is in walking distance to the University of Colorado, which comes in handy for parents' weekend and graduation. While the complimentary continental breakfast is typical fare, it is hardy and handy if you want a quick bite before starting your day. The rooms are nice, with clean bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. Most have views of the Flat Irons.

My lovely wife and I were here for a friend's wedding and were expecting more than what we received. What was supposed to be a mini getaway quickly became less romantic with the issues we encountered. First, I cannot recall the last time I traveled and spent this much on a room without having a hair dryer in it. Secondly, housekeeping did not come by until late afternoon the day after our first night there. Third, the eggs at breakfast were not real eggs. Fourth, the pool towels are dish cloths. Fifth, it is impossible to get hot water for tea.

Pleasant stay overall. Front office entrance didn't have any signage, ended up driving around the property before finding it. Check in was quick, good intro to property and amenities. Very impressed with cleanliness and fresh flowers throughout. Room and bath were very clean, remote was in a sleeve stating it was clean. Didn't enjoy house keeping knocking on neighboring doors at 930a when check out isn't until 11p. Also thought room was over priced for age of property, and we didn't think it convenient to town. Didn't check out pool or breakfast. If basic yet clean next to the college is what you want, you'll pay bit this is it. If you want to check out downtown Boulder, I would try somewhere else.

I stayed here as it was by far the least expensive Pet friendly hotel in the area. Staff was great, room was clean and had extremely easy access to parking with a sliding door to the patio. Literally across the highway from CU campus with multiple pedestrian tunnels for safe access.

Not a comfortable hotel. Needs bins to dispose of "takeout" and "traveler" trash, pizza boxes stacked in the hallways. Nice lobby, pleasant staff.

We had a wonderful stay! Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing!

The rooms are clean and well appointed for the price. Better than some higher priced places in Boulder.

This is a nice hotel. We stayed 2 nights and liked it enough that I'd come back. They are pet friendly! Rooms weren't real fancy but nice beds, nice shower, cable tv, mini fridge, K cup machine with provided kcups, fitness room (I did not go to), outdoor pool (currently closed), and a hot tub (you do have to walk outside 15 feet or so to get to the hot tub). There wasn't a microwave in our room. There is a very nice breakfast in the morning! Really good food selection and staff. Lots of fresh, hot coffee! Thanks for your great customer service!

Very impressed with what they have been able to do with an older property. The staff here is first class. My room was clean updated and very comfortable. The rate was fantastic when I compared this motel to others in the area. Most ofbthe hotels have not been updated since the 70's. Yet they still charge you for a five star hotel. This was the best bang for my buck. Anthony from Hotel Impossible would be impressed. Really the staff is wonderful. That's a huge compliment from someone with years of customer service experience. It's very difficult to find top notch customer service. Also they are pkaning another extensive remodel in the near future according to the front desk.

Comfortable & right across street from Kittredge Cental.

About an hour after leaving my hotel room I remembered that I had forgotten to pack up my speaker. After looking through my luggage several times, I called the staff to let them know. A few days passed and I was finally put in contact with the assistant manager in charge of lost and found. Rather then returning my property to me, the assistant manager accused me of fabricating the whole story. I feel that the staff was very dishonest with me and I would not feel comfortable booking another night here.

Although the Boulder Inn is a Best Western Plus hotel, it has a dynamic that few hotels have. Perhaps it's the beautiful pool area with fantastic mountain views (as you can see to the left), or perhaps it's the people running the hotel. Either way, there was certainly a vibe that I enjoyed while staying at the Boulder Inn in May 2015. All of the expected amenities were provided, including breakfast, pool, hot tub, and convenience store.

Decent, but didn't love it. And breakfast is terrible. But internet is good. Staff is really friendly and nice.

This hotel is horribly overpriced, particularly its summer rates. Its also been the single worst hotel experience of my life. The front desk staff refuse to honour the rates they quote, and the owner is an unprofessional jerk. We stayed there most of a week the last week of 2014, and, after extending our stay through New Year's Eve, and having the hold placed on our card, we were kicked out of the hotel by the owner. We were never given an explanation, just several lies (like telling us we didn't declare our pets). We have stayed at this hotel for about 20 nights over the previous year, and our loyalty was rewarded with them booting us because they overbooked their hotel. Since we were asked to leave at 4PM on New Year's Eve, and had a hold on our debit card, we ended up spending the night (with its 10 degree weather) in our car. This place is absolutely horrible. Stay away.

This hotel is rated a three star hotel. We have stayed here for a family reunion for many years. Every year it has gotten better than the last. One year it had better beds, the next year it had gotten better carpet, another it has an upgraded bathroom, another year a better TV, another year new curtains, another year better pool furniture, and this year a refrigerator in the room. Whoever maintains this place has really upgraded it. We are always happy with the friendly staff. Even the maintenance will happily assist you. The front desk personnel will help you find place to eat and play. For a 3 star hotel the quality is excellent. I have stayed in many Best Westerns and many Best Western Plus'. This one is one of the best.
