After our connecting flight from Denver to VA was cancelled our airline got my family and I hotel vouchers to the quality inn and suites. After we used our food vouchers at the airport, we called the number they provided for the shuttle to pick us up and take us to the Hotel. To our surprise, the gentleman on the other line said you are luck. We are actually outside we made our way to the pick up point where we were met by a driver. We took a look in the van, which looked quite full. Not to mention the radio was blaring. (Mind you they were three people in our party. ) We asked the driver as he was taking our bags to the back, “Are you sure there’s room for us? ” The driver replied yes yes, “of course. ” We all kind of looked at each other and we’re wondering where we were actually all going to sit, the van, looked very full, the driver then gestured for us to get into the back of the van, where the luggage was. I looked at him and said, “are you kidding? ” The driver replied, “no you can sit in the back. ” I looked inside and there are no seats or seatbelts back there. I ask if we could wait for the next one he said no. Other people made room in the van for two other people in my party, and I had to sit in the back of the van with the luggage. He then brought two more people to sit in the back with me, which was very cramped at that point.

Don't trust the shuttle at Quality Inn Gateway Park to get you to and from the airport. And don't trust the front desk to be kind. Now you might think I'm a Karen or something. I'm a 23 year old woman traveling by myself and literally work in customer service. When I say the customer service here is trash, I mean it. I would probably be fired if I ever talked to one of my customers this way. Let me dive into this tale. When signing up to either 1. Stay at the hotel or 2. Park at the hotel, one of the perks is "Free Airport Transportation" via a shuttle. That is taken directly from the choicehotels. Com website. I called ahead when parking there to make sure I had a seat on the shuttle. The front desk staff helping me treated me like I was dumb, but whatever it seemed like I was all set up for a shuttle to DIA so who cares. My trip from the hotel to the airport went okay to be honest, besides the somewhat rude front desk experience. The day before I'm about to fly back to DIA, I call Quality Inn (Gateway Park) again to make sure I can confirm a seat on the shuttle back to the hotel so I can get my car. The front desk sounds PISSED that I'm calling. I tell them I'm confused by their directions and why they are so upset. They tell me to (and I quote) "think about it, if your flight got delayed they would have a shuttle there for no reason". Side note, that's not true because they claim their shuttle runs every hour and besides, don't they need to drop guests off at the airport?

Hopefully you get misty upfront at the desk. She’s human and cares about ya! I got stuck in Denver on a layover and frontier airlines dropped the ball and cancelled my flight. Spent almost 30 hours at the terminal just waiting to get some information. They gave us a comp room here. We were tired and just needed to sleep. The night crew wasn’t quite as thrilled to help but we all have bad days. Misty made up for it and picked up the ball when the night lady dropped it. I do recommend this place but trust management to read reviews and adjust accordingly to customer interactions. Misty fantastic job! Night lady remember to care about people coming in who are tired and worn, last thing is the cleaners will come early and knock on your door. If you need to be up early they got you, however if you wanna sleep in better hang that tag! 🤙🏾
