Worst breakfast we ever had. Staff has don't care attitude. When I called to tell them the hair dryer did not work they did not bring me one because she couldn't leave the desk and didn't have one I could go get. Said she would take care of it but did not by the next morning when we left.

Overpriced and run-down. It wasn't a break, but there was no coziness. The website advertises great rooms, but there is probably only one of them. Ours looked different. I wouldn't go back there.

Clean, comfy bed, Wi-Fi, and a pool. It's no Ritz but it's exactly what I expect at this price. The pool sealed the deal.

Completely over priced. Torn bed spreads, unchanged bath accessories is not what u expect after paying $200 per night.

Nice staff. Hotel itself was good, breakfast did the job and room was nice. Was an hour and 20 (roughly) to get into yosemite each day, a bit far for my liking but that's not the hotels fault!

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Good accommodations for the rate. The rooms where a little dated and getting between floors is a little tough. I would stay here again.

Simple. Clean. A half-hour drive from the park entrance. An hour and a half from the Valley Visitor Center.

It was pretty good. Nice and clean and 1 hour from Yosemite valley.

Nice place. The only thing there is a bar to close and depending what room you get might be a little noise.

A good place to start your trip to the national park. We had a room in the 4th floor and still could park the car directly in front of the room like in a motel. It's because the building is built "into" the mountain behind it The included reakfast was nothing special, it was a bit strange to me that they used disposable plates. All in all ok.

Excellent location and close to the tourist place. Only the breakfast is one of the most basic that it offers you. Bread and milk.

The view of mountains is exceptionally beautiful from the outside walkway.

Very simple breakfast is horrible for the price they have you can get something better.

The room was good, but I didn't like the service of the staff … I called asking some things and the lady couldn't understand me and she just said OH MY GOD! in a very desperate tone, which I mean it's your job being helpful! After doing the check in they man of the staff looked like if they were doing us a favor for staying there, which I mean I WAS PAYING! If you want to stay for one night it's okey but for more it's not worthy.

Clean. Good place to stay. No frills but safe and accommodating.

This is a reasonably priced inn for the area it is in. My room was clean and very comfortable. I booked thru a 3rd party internet site and I mixed up the dates. The owner was accomodating and fixed my problem and he honored the rate I booked for. My only issues were with Wi-Fi being nonexistent and the TV remote was complicated. I would stay here again and recommend this inn.

This goes for one night because very noisy air conditioning and no breakfast.

I don't understand the very negative ratings. Agreed, the breakfast is very minimal and the Wi-Fi is exceptionally slow, but the room was very tidy and included some nice extra things such as a fridge, coffeemachine and microwave. Yosemite valley is only an one and a half hour drive from here. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and knew everything about local restaurants in town. The price is in a normal range considering the proximity to Yosemite.

Service was awesome but rooms are absolutely not worth the price we were charged. Rooms are like a normal motel room, which is certainly fine by me and would have felt nice if not for the constant pain in my head I felt from paying over 400 dollars for two nights.

Would not stay here again, very overpriced and the worse stay we had while in California. Definitely a place that rips tourists off. Room was okay but bathroom was a little dirty. Breakfast was the worse I have seen anywhere, we went to breakfast at 7:30 am and they only had a few slices of bread with some juices, some cereals and milk. I asked where the water was and the hotel attendant told us people usually just get the water from the faucet or buy a bottled water from the drink machine. Very disappointed.

Very great location and distance from Yosemite national park, the town is beautiful and the area is awesome. Good view of the mountain from right outside my window. My only issues were with the continental breakfast and the Wi-Fi.

When I first arrived, I felt the price was extremely high… the lady at the desk understood and lowered the price a bit, to a price a bit more affordable. The room was clean and nice. Thank you.

Very clean, newly remodeled, fridge, microwave, pool, and clean lobby with breakfast included. Highly recommend a stay at this motel.

I travel a lot and covered 90% of major locations of United States. But I never felt this type of insult in my life. It is my usual request by email to every hotel (before I board in) to allocate me a clean and bug-free room (as I am allergic to bed-bugs and I was travelling with my 8 months old kid). But this time the response I got is shocking — “We do our job seriously. I hope You don’t bring beg bugs to us. ” – I don’t think it is a professional response to a polite professional mail. Why will I bring bed-bugs to your Hotel when I am allergic to it? And when I responded that saying – “Sorry to say, I did not like your tone of the response. The response does not sound any professionalism” I got a response “Thanks” on top of it — sooo arrogant. I was so upset with the behavior that immediately booked other Hotel and cancelled this hotel’s reservation. I did not face this type of arrogance in my life and don’t like to face that. Sorry Yosemite Sierra Inn, I won’t visit you.

Easy check-in and friendly staff. We were early and our room wasn't ready but they checked us in and gave us a key so when we came back we could go straight to our room. Room was clean and pleasant.

This was a great stay. The rooms are a good size and had everything we needed. Coffee pot, microwave, mini frig. Free breakfast and coffee bar. Price was fair. Room was clean and well stocked. Front desk staff were very nice both at check in and check out. Oakhurst has everything very conveniently located. Great restaurants, shops, and a Starbucks. We would stay again.

It was alright for a hotel, but still an hour from Yosemite so I just wish we had picked somewhere closer.

Worst hotel ever! Weren't very helpful. Worst customer service! when we checked in the middle of the night, the agent gave us wrong info that we can check in the middle of the night, because I'm booking that day and we will be staying in, when we got there the lady said no we had to purchse another stay that night because it doesn't count, so I was upset because of the wrong info I got, so of course we paid AND the lady sent us to the wrong room, where somebody was staying in there and the room was filthy. I was very upset because it was our first time to yosemite, she didn't even do anything to help nor she didn't tell her manager the mistake she made, NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO US. I wish I could've got my money back and stayed at another hotel. Very bad service and again not helpful. Never coming to this hotel again, that's for sure.

Good service and okay breakfast.

The rooms are all oriented to the street to get out in the winter quite noisy (snow chains). Walls and Ceilings are very thin and therefore noisy. The Breakfast is even for American conditions underground. Pro: the rooms are clean and reasonably modern, the Wi-Fi is free and mostly reasonably fix.

Really good Causey small motel. Felt like staying at the comfort of our own home. Also got really good deal from groupon. Planning to come back once again summer, if the price is still good.

Overall it wasn't bad. Was told it was remodeled room when only the bathroom was remodeled. Walls are paper thin… they could have spaced the occupants out because there were only 8 cars in the parking lot. Breakfast was very limited … cereal (Raisin Bran was not Kellogs even though it was labeled as such) and the milk was a bit sour… or somewhat dried bread for toast. I wouldn't complain but price could have been better.

The room was a great size, 2 beds for the 4 of us but that didn't justify the cost. We did a 5 week road trip, different motels most nights. This place was the most expensive yet wasn't the best.

Room a bit haggard but clean and reasonably comfortable. Good rate and free parking though not undercover.
