This motel was disgusting from arrival the front check in smelled like weed. Walking up to our room there was a guy blasting music with his bike locking the way to our room. Also there was people dealing drugs in the back where our room was. Once we got in our room it stunk and the beds had disgusting stains on them. We had barely got in and had to pretty much beg for a refund since they said it was over 15 minutes which is was clearly not. If you care about your safety and cleanliness do not stay here I repeat do not stay here. I've stayed at plenty motel 6 in the past but this has been by far the worst never coming back and am scared to stay at motel 6 with my family after this experience.

Decent room, great price. AC was broken and wouldn't turn off so it was quite cold but better than too hot. Bed was not the most comfortable but wasn't terrible. Over all would stay again.

Stayed and all the staff was super friendly. I called to ask for more towels and they came right away. Great service will be staying here again!

I love that motel 6 is pet friendly and you don't have to sneak your dog or cat in and out of the room… The renovation looks so much better and thank God new bedspreads! Very modern! Quit charging for guests to use Wi-Fi though, that's tacky, cheap and very low class!

Mary Rios was very nice and helpful at the front desk! Actually, all of the desk staff were very nice and thoughtful. I am wondering why I was charged $60.00 for staying at the Motel 6 in Visalia, though. That charge needs to be refunded. I was going to stay there the first night, but the desk staff told me my reservation was cancelled and they would need to charge me $72/night. I told them I would just go to the Tulare location instead. But I was still charged $60.00 for that night? There were several issues with the reservations at the Visalia hotel so I just asked the desk clerk I'd just stay at the Tulare location instead. Please refund that amount to my CC.

Freshly renovated rooms, new furniture and bathroom equipment. Wifi is not for free.

I specifically asked for a non-smoking room. Not only did the room have a heavy smell of smoke but the "blanket" had cigarette burns. Making it evident that it was nothing but the opposite of non-smoking. The smell made my asthma flare up. I had to open the window to allow fresh air into the room but that didn't really help. The restroom was not properly cleaned and had a disheveled appearance. Then to make the experience the worst I've ever had. The shower had absolutely no water pressure. I feel that I gravely overpaid for my stay at a dirty, unsanitary room. It was my first time giving motel 6 an opportunity for my business. It was my last. I am telling all my family and friends about my experience and I will make sure they never have to live my bad experience.

You get what you pay for. Staff was very friendly. All the bedding except the pillow cases had burn holes on them, asked for the bedding to be changed and they did it right away but I still found a few burn holes on the newer bedding as well but wasn’t as bad as the first set. Didn’t see any bugs which was a plus. The floor was like a hardwood linoleum laminate and it was too dirty to walk on barefoot meaning when I walked from the bed to the front door (only a few feet away) my feet were dirt dirty. The location is very busy at night meaning you hear all the cars coming and going and people chirping their alarms. The biggest plus was the friendliness of the staff.

I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I have is that the shower had no pressure at all. And the sink was plugged in the bathroom. Other then that the staff was great and helpful. Easy location to fwy.

Motel for price/performance all right. Outlet and good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Would stay overnight again.

We reserved the room and when we arrived we realized it wasn't for us all we used were the restroom. Didn't even take our belongings up. And we're in that room for 15mins Max. And they told us it was considered used and we couldn't get any kind of refund. NOTHING was USED High highly recommend going to Red Roof Inn compared to here. So much for customer satisfaction.

Simple and clean. Night attendant was polite and quick to service our needs. Recommended for simple lodging when traveling on the road. Access was easy off freeway 99.

Location very convenient — off/on 99. Many eating facilities. Accommodation was consistent with Motel 6. If considering up-grading think about a small frig. Bottom line stay was good.

I transfered my job from Long Beach Ca. To Tulare Ca. I was unsure of where to stay while looking for a new apartment. I was shocked as to how clean the rooms were, everything was in working order. The entire property is super clean and safe as well. I'm not very good with names but I remember faces and EVERYONE from the office from the manager, customer service reps, and even maintenance and housekeepers are super friendly! A refreshing experience especially in a stressful move they made us feel welcome. If I ever had to stay in another motel I would most definitely return to Motel 6 Tulare. I would highly recommend this property to anyone they're is absolutely no need to stay at the other expensive hotels in this area you will be wasting money. 5

Surprisingly the first Motel 6 I stayed out that was very clean. Not only that, I was gone for awhile and the room was clean, bed was made and I had a fresh new set of towels! What Motel 6 does that? Front Desk Agent I believe his name was Jorge Javier Salcedo, cant remember. But he was very friendly and customer service oriented. You don't get this at any Motel 6 in the country and I have been to a few in my area and other states. So good job Tulare, Ca Motel 6. Impressed!

I was visiting my aunt and decided to stay here because it seemed pretty affordable. I had my son with me and I requested a fridge and microwave because I need to store milk for him, well I guess they don't have either at this location and I had to buy ice to keep the milk cold at least. The room had a faint smell of bleach and cigarette smoke. There were cigarette burns on the blankets and the sheets. The bathroom smelled disgusting of urine and mold. There weren't enough towels in the bathroom and the ones that were there were not clean. There was one roll of toilet paper that was not brand new to say the least. I guess you do get what you pay for.

Floors not clean, spider in bathroom. Human hair in bed, human hair on towels. Showerhead not tight and leaks and aims permanently down. Stopper in sink not working so water does not drain out of sink. As soon as it was dawn, I left way before I needed to. Never coming back to this or any motel 6 ever again and I mean that from every fiber of my being. Staff was extremely nice and friendly.

The staff was great. The room was nicer than the pictures. Also the bed was super comfortable, I stayed at a best Western the following night and the bed there made my back hurt.

Very well located. We were at the Intl AG Expo but if I'd had time we might have explored further (definitely the Outlets! ). Room was clean and basic. Didn't miss the hair dryer or coffee pot, which I don't use anyway (and complimentary coffee is in the lobby from 6 a. M. On). I would, at that price point, have liked a mini-fridge, but we were only there one night so not a deal breaker. Apple Annie's, a large coffee shop, is right next door, which was extremely convenient for dinner and breakfast next morning early. Would have liked shampoo and conditioner, which I forgot, but that's ok. Some traffic noise if you are a sensitive sleeper. Would stay again if in the area! Friendly front office staff. Thumbs up.

My stay went well. Your clerk was friendly and cordial and efficient. The room was clean and accommodations in general were very good. However, the only issue I had was the blanket. The blankets you are using for the area in winter are not adequate for winter use.

A creepy guy called me at 3 in the morning saying that he was in the room next to me and wanted to hang out I was so scared and didn't feel safe. The front desk said someone had taped into there phones. Also there was no microwave or fridge. Also didn't like how you have to pay for Wi-Fi. There was a mix up when I booked the hotel I did the wrong dates I called as soon as I had done it and changed the dates. I didn't realize there was going to be additional cost until I got there the women over the phone did not explain that to me. She waived the Wi-Fi fee for that. She was okay but was not very welcoming wish she was more cheerful and not so short dry. But the price is extremely low so that was a good thing.

The House keeping staff were very friendly and helpful and did their best to give us the best experience.

I cleaned my own room upon entrance. The shower was filthy with hair in it, floors had visible shoe prints (wood floors) and when I wiped them up the wet wipe was filthy. I proceeded to clean the floor by hand since I have a two year old. You have to pay for Wi-Fi and there is no room with a microwave or refrigerator. There are plenty of rooms else where with the same if not better rates and probably cleaner Nothing bad to say about staff though. Customer service is good.

I should have called or gone on line to the Motel 6 line/site to make rez instead of doing it through another booking company as I couldn't change my mistake of not checking the 1 person box so I was charged for 2 and they couldn't change it. Any way I could get money refunded? They didn't have a microwave for guests and no fridge or microwave in room.

Clean motel but pretty small rooms. The area is not quite as beautiful, but pure in transit fine.

The room was clean the beds were clean and neat. The room felt a little cramped though. The shower was not so great although I don't know if it were the shower head or the water pressure. Overall we were there just to sleep and the bed was ok it was not the worst bed ever nor was it the best. The TV was small but had plenty of channels to choose from.

Parking entry and exit difficult. Rooms are a decent size. Pets are welcome, but there are only a couple of designated rooms for pet accommodation. On this stay room was clean and it is quiet here so far.

It was a compact room but it was well planned. The desk had compartments for all your clothes and there was a nice area for suitcases that his electric wheelchair fit well. And we could have even plugged it in through the bathroom plug next to it. The beds were somewhat comfortable. We have definitely slept in worse. The people were nice. Easy room access. I love the shower of very easy half step in. We could have even used the manual wheelchair in it. This was not a wheelchair accessible room but it worked just fine. I recommended if you're in a pinch and you need a room quickly. And as always when we're in this area we go to Apple Annie's which is right next door.

In the past the place was reasonably priced and they have spacious rooms. A nice place to go and be left alone, no one bothers you so its a quiet location to gather ones thought. Pet friendly establishment as well.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 several times. I've had several good rooms and some other so good, but my most recent stay was very e joyable. The room was modern, clean and quiet. The front desk check in clerk was very friendly and courteous.

Over all my stay was nice. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were tidy but a little small. The beds clean and comfortable but still small. The capsule style shower really sucked and kept overflowing. I wish the rooms came with a fridge and microwave and coffee pot. Someone told me the place was roach infested but j only saw one in the window seal that was dead. So other than that it was nice.

I was ripped off by this motel for some money. They wouldn't give me money paid for the room cause I wasn't there by 2:00 I was at a doctors appointment they were really rude with me and basically told me it was thier money I didn't even get the room and also they rented it out that same dayand night.

Do not stay at a Motel 6! No shampoo. No fridge. Tiny little towels. Loud air conditioner. Terrible insulation between rooms.

The motel 6 was a fairly pleasant stay, definitely in the area where you can find all your needs for you stay over night. There is some restaurants a Walmart and a few gas stations to choose from. Room was furnished pretty nicely, the bedding didn't look all that well.

Quick check in and a clean room. Good location.

Was not a good experience. At 5:00 A. M. The door handle turned and the door opened, thankfully the lock at the top of the door caught and they could not open door fully.

The hotel staff was remarkable they tended everything that I needed on the road a long time moving from Sacramento to Skiatook Oklahoma quite refreshing.

Great customer services. Maid service not good. The floors in my room very dirty… Pool very clean…

Staff very rude and cruel won't negotiate at all even in worst times don't depend on this quarter star piece of crap cause they don't care.

Manager on site was insane! How dare a lady of her age stand and argue with a nine year old lil girl and still ask her for our room number because she's the manager and she's going to kick us out! If these are the manger skills the corporate offices of motel six look for… no wonder most all the ratings are low!

This motel is clean, safe and reasonable prices. I recommend this to anyone who comes to Tulare, CA.

Near Downtown Bargain: This is one of the Motel 6’s that hasn’t been remodeled yet. For a frequent traveler through the Tulare and Visalia areas, the service and location is still excellent. This is about the 12th time I’ve stayed here when in the mood for budgeted travel, which is quite often. There’s a pool, guest laundry, and all the vending and ice work where others seem to fail due to poor maintenance and triple digit heat. If you take front room, be prepared for some moderate traffic noise. However, this didn’t disturb my sleep. This is one M6 the still sets a good example where other ones of this franchise are noticeably slipping. As I’m acquainted with some of the staff, I shared some photos of the remodeled look from my other M6 stays. They were impressed and told me that this location is slated for the same facelift soon.

We stayed one night and it was fine. The room was clean and small. The bathroom was small and the shower head was a fine mist but other than that everything was fine. I would stay here again.
