I loved my stay at the Groveland! I stayed in Lyle’s Room (IYKYK) 👻 and had the best dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel. Great conversation w the chef and another overnight hotel guest just passing through from Yosemite. Would definitely return!

Love tjis place clean safe nice rooms great service. Plus jazz music by local band.

Loved our stay! Wished we could stay longer! Nice, cool room, fabulous patio, friendly staff, excellent food…. All in a cute town close to Yosemite.

The food was absolutely incredible. Very pleasant to sit outside, listen to music and enjoy great food.

Wonderful stay at the Groveland Hotel Monday night, amazing food, beverages and ended the night coming to a bottle of wine on the fireplace mantel. Jenn and staff are amazing, 5 stars!

We stayed in a 2 room suite which was perfect for our family of 4. The restaurant food and wine was delicious and live music provided the perfect dinner ambiance. We'll be back!

Beautifully renovated hotel! I love how they’ve kept the history while also modernizing the building. And the outdoor patio is not to be missed. Fresh made food, cocktails and live music. It feels like we walked into an oasis. We’ll be back for sure!

Remodelled and lovely with good bar and chef on site. Next door music too loud and long unless you want to join in.

They have kombucha which is great! Great outdoor eating patio and entertainment.

First thing first, I've got an email before closing hours that I will find an envelope with my keys and a map with instructions to find my room. And the fun fact was that the envelope was "behind the bear sculpture". Quite scary at first, but it was the cutest bear sculpture ever! (See the pictures I've attached). Really clean, comfy bed, great room, amazing outdoor sitting if you wanted to chill out there. It really exceeded my expectations! Than you! One more thing. The whole experience (check-in, check-out) was really smooth!

Love this hotel. The patio is perfect for relaxing and the rooms are wonderful.

Cool place to chill with IPAs on tap and mellow live music out back. Yummy homemade food snack items tops it off.

We were out of town working in Groveland look at a couple motels weren't impressed check out the Groveland Hotel it was amazing spoke with the owner really nice guy they're getting ready to open up Restaurant and Bar live music really classy place they also serve a nice breakfast at their sister hotel across the street within walking distance.

This is a wonderful place owned by a wonderful family. We enjoy our visits to Groveland very much.

Can't say enough about this place! I won't stay anywhere else. The staff are wonderful the coffee (which is roasted 2 doors down) is great and it compliments the hot breakfast that comes with your room! The whole thing is truly a good time. The setting up in the trees, the beauty of nature the people the town.

Nice quaint hotel/B&B. Old fashioned rooms aka poor insulation and dated furniture. But very close to valley with friendly staff.

Very bad insulation of the walls. Other guests taking s shower, or flushing the toilet made a very loud noise, and it seemed that every 10 min someone was flushing it. We were also unlucky with very uncivil guests, loud, slamming doors until early morning. Nice western atmosphere, good breakfast, very friendly staff, but couldn't sleep a wink.

A little over price but I like its old-fashioned rooms. It was close enough to both valley and hetch hetchy.

Very quaint old B&B. Parlor area for table games was best feature. Beds were incredibly old and squeaky. Extremely convenient. They are about to do a full remodel and I would love to stay in a remodeled room here.

Overpriced at 200 per night including all taxes and fees. Not handicap accessible. Breakfast is ok but very basic (self serve scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, juice, coffee). No restaurant service and no staff onsite at night. Helpful staff, and overall they are doing the best that they can with this very old building.

The rooms were small but relatively clean. You'll quicly notice the age of the building as everything creaks and groans. The Wi-Fi was strong when it worked, but it got a bit unpredictable at times. The showers were not ideal, constantly alternating between ice cold and searing hot. All in all a bit overpriced.

The hotel is very old and the rooms are outdated and the floors creek. It felt like you entered a ghost — house. It's literally on the main highway. We paid over usd 400 for a room; very expensive for what you got. The breakfast was okay but not great either. There is absolutely nothing to do in Groveland. The hotel is also understaffed: there was only one woman that had to take care of everything. She tried and did her best but we felt sorry for her. The owners should invest in this place. Starting with new curtains, carpeting and painting. And above all: please buy new mattresses.

Don't waste your money. The beds in our tiny room where worn out, designed to accommodate very small people and difficult to sleep on. The back porch outdoor lights shined into your room all night with the thin drapes providing little help. And, we actually had ants in our beds. As well, it's expensive. Frankly, the building most likely worked well as a hotel in 1849 but not in 2017.

Very cozy and unique in a relaxing and lush setting. Expensive. Some street noise, and rather noisy AC, during the night. Great base for day hikes in Yosemite.

Har to find pet friendly places around Yosemite. Groveland Hotel one of the few great places that accommodates.

Old but gold! It was a great experience stay there. Good food, comfortable, good attendants, near some restaurants and gas station, few minutes from Yosemite.

After a really scary drive up route 120 in the middle of the night and arriving 9:00 pm, we were greeted by Lisa who made every effort to accommodate us. My family and I had a perfect dinner. The Filet Mignon was perfect! Thanks Lisa!

Beautiful place love the area. Hotel room bed was terrible room 12. The resturant was out of mist all breakfast foods. No mimosa on valentines sunday. We spent the weekend and they were out of food both mornings. I did like everything else about it but crapy bed no breakfast and achey back was not fun.

Worst customer service in the history of hotels. Read the fine print, had to file a complaint with my bank to get some of our money back when our travel plans changed.

We stopped in spur of the moment and had drinks and dinner and it was wonderful! The food was amazing. Great steaks, perfectly cooked. Creative tasty side dishes. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Mark the chef and lisa the bartender who served us made this a great experience. A must try!

We stayed here along with a few folks from our wedding party. The rooms were great — fantastically comfortable beds, great water pressure, and beautiful decorations. We also had dinner here the night after the wedding and the outdoor seating for the 20 of us was wonderful on a warm spring evening. The fact that there was a concert that night (Credence cover act) was just icing on the cake.

Cosy rooms, friendly people, perfect location for exploring Yosemite.

Amazing food. Seriously. Can't say the same for the soup of the day though. The staff are super awesome too. But the highlight is definitely the rooftop view. Amazing place to stay! Convenient location. Good breakfast buffet. Recommended. Will be back.
