Had a quick visit here but wished I was staying longer! Villa was lovely… especially the gas log fire on such a cold night. Beautiful views. Don’t pack large/heavy cases if you have a villa and there’s a risk of snow… there are steps to negotiate which are tricky when snow-covered. But all in all a great stay!

The staff at Rush Creek were all so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious, the pool was amazing and the food was great. We also went on the Wonders of Yosemite Tour. Our guide, Alli, was knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. We were able to see so much on this tour, it was an amazing day. I also was able to book a massage in the spa and it was so wonderful and relaxing. I highly recommend Rush Creek and we will definitely be back.

An amazing place which becomes evident as you drive up to the main building to check in! Nothing is too much trouble from check in throughout the experience. The staff are all exquisitely polite and can’t do enough for you, and having met the general manager that philosophy is right through the organisation. The staff absolutely love working for him, which comes across in spades and is evidence of the culture which provides a fabulous working environment for so many local and regional staff members. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely balcony space to see out over the facility including a pool area and spa area which are well appointed and maintained. Things for kids to do are abundant, but not intrusive of others which is a work of art by the creators and management team. Loved the food offering and drinks menu too, and the ability to walk around and about the site and well maintained trail routes. Can’t fault this place, a must if you’re heading to Yosemite National park as it’s minted from the gate.

I’ve visited the Spa at Rush Creek 3 times in the last two weeks. It is a relaxing, rejuvenating and renewing experience. I highly recommend the magnesium hot tub, the aromatherapy steam room and the swinging lounge bed among other things. It would be great if there was a better locals discount or even a frequent user discount of some sort!

We were thrilled to be able to get a room last minute. It was a nice room. Staff is very nice. The rec manager was amazing with the tips he gave for Yosemite in a day. However, there’s no TV or microwave. And the room was dirty. Scuff marks and dirt on the wall, there was an old pair of socks under the couch, and the room itself was not as clean as expected for the price you pay. The beds were not comfortable but that is an opinion of course. Some people may like the firm/hard beds. I get that we’re in an area where there are bugs but there was a HUGE spider web that had dust on it. It took awhile for that web to be created. The amenities were great. The food was good but overpriced. The menu was limited and they were out of the 3 items we were going to order and ran out of lemonade. And we were told that the chef doesn’t like to make changes to any dishes. Not sure we’d stay again. Not sure we’d recommend either.

What a pleasant few days. The staff attended to our every need with a smile. The food choices were exemplary, providing a menu for every taste! What a find! We’ll be returning!

From the moment we arrived our experience has been amazing! staff is wonderful! we checked in late and the guys at the front were friendly and helpful. Todd in the Rec center was super helpful getting us in the right direction… Then the GM helped us get our chains just right to face the snow coming in! then lastly the bar staff took exceptional care of us for dinner! highly recommend Rush creek.

Great Villas for families or couples, amazing activities, good food, very hospitable and kind staff, super location immediately before entrance to Yosemite National Park, all surrounded by gorgeous nature, creeks in the middle of a forest! Totally recommended!

We came for my Nephews wedding and stayed at the Villas. The staff here are great! Friendly and very accommodating. It was such a great time for family and friends to meet for this special occasion. The food was great! Lots of activities for the kids and adults!
We will come again!

We love it here! Being in nature yet feeling comfortable. Service is great, very close to Yosemite Flat Oak Entrance. Super clean and well kept. The porches overlook great views. The pool is nice and both hot tubs are amazing.

Unfortunately we had to leave a night early due to the Covid Shutdown, and man, were we sad. This place is incredible! The rooms are cozy & spacious and the beds are comfy. They have SO much to do for kids and adults alike! We loved the hot-tubs with a drink in hand at the end of a long day hiking Yosemite. The food was takeout only but there are fire pits and tables everywhere for you to sit at — it was DELICIOUS! The staff is so friendly and we wish we could stay longer. We will be back :)

It’s a perfect place to stay on your way to explore Yosemite park. It’s modern, clean! The amenities are up to date. Great size pool and spa, playground for the kids. The restaurant offers great variety. Very serene and warm atmosphere. Free marshmallows to roast for kids :) — nice touch!

This Lodge in Groveland City count with a great Spa to spoil yourself all daylong! Fantastic atmosphere very relaxing great service very entertaining, spotless & great food!

Came for our anniversary, pretty much had the whole place to ourselves minus a small wedding party. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was stellar! Gorgeous grounds, even with the smoke from nearby fires. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Beautiful place, so relaxing, great to bring your kids, it has many good activities to do with them, there’s a big pool and a big slide. I love the view on my room. I love nature.

Perfect for families. S’mores at the firepit, board games, shuffleboard, cornhole, bocce ball! Great place to get away from electronics with your family. Their customer service is excellent and I love the poolside bar. Ryan the bartender is so much fun.

This place is dope! Got some champagne at check in. The weather is freaking awesome. They gots a pool and cornhole. Now that what I call a great little vacation.

I always enjoy my stays here. It’s a beautiful lodge with so much to offer! The food and service are wonderful. The play area is the best I’ve seen and convenient to grab food and drinks while the kids play. Great place to just hang out for the day as well.

Really love place and an excellent restaurant!

I stayed with my family yesterday. Unfurtunately they dont care about customer service. I had the worse experience at the restaurante with a guy that told me to do WHATEVER THE HELL I WANTED when I asked If I would have my drinks at a separate salon. After I confronted him, he started laughing touched my shoulder and told me that he was just being casual. I went to speek with his superior and she told me I miss understood, and what did I want her to do… he continue to smile at me.
The hotel is beautiful but their behavior really makes it not worth it to go!

Very nice for the kids they have a heated pool big hot tub and game room for the kids. I like that the room doesn’t have a TV but it has Alexa. They have a fire pit and they provide marshmallows, Hershey’s chocolate and gram crackers for s’mores at night.

To say we love Rush Creek is an understatement! This place is awesome! From the service to the staff to the activities they have… to the food! It's our second time here and every time is even more perfect, our kids love this place. There is sooo much to do that you won't want to leave the hotel… we were the winners of a photo contest they had online, crazy to think we won since it's a first!. But yeah all good things!. You got to check it out…

Everyone talks about the beauty of the setting, grounds, food beyond compare, but no mentions all the amenities offerred for all to enjoy. The best of which is the nightly Smores! the staff is charming, efficient and accommodating on all fronts!
I have been a consistent guest at Evergreen for years before Rush Creek and now have been to Rush Creek every year since it's beginning at least twice year! I always flip a coin as to which facility to be at I love them both!

Attended a wedding and reception at the lodge. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. Everything went super smoothly, and you can tell they know what they are doing. A beautiful lodge venue with lots of cool amenities (pool, hot tub, game room, tavern… and more? ). I can totally see myself booking a stay here if I'm ever back to this part of the world.

Love love love! A classy kid friendly gem. The place has many things to do. Kids stay busy. Excellent customer service and facilities. All-you-can-drink "good" coffee in your room and a really good restraunt. My only regret was having eaten only once at the restaurant. My flavor loving boys were loving this place. A place you'll be sure to go back to.

Really good lodge style hotel. We were there during the Yosemite forest fires but not even that spoiled it really. On site restaurant was good for evening meals and not too expensive. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were great with coffee making facilities and a fridge. Would highly recommend.

What a perfect way to end a backpacking trip! Terrific staff and facilities. Great place for families. Carefully designed to meet the needs of everyone. From mom, dad, kids and grandparents. You can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Sierra's and Yosemite!

We were in a fairly bad car accident, and the Rush Creek Lodge was the only place we could stay the night while we waited for towing service to get through. The lodge was more than accommodating, knocking a significant amount off the cost of a room for the night. Beyond the above-and-beyond accommodation, the lodge is really plush. The food and drinks at the restaurant are excellent, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall, the staff here are amazing, and made an awful experience significantly more bearable. (For those who are worried or wondering, everyone is okay — no injuries, thank God).

My family (wife and son) had to book into here at very short notice as we had to evacuate our lodge very quickly due to the Fergusan fires. We are from the Netherlands on vacation. The staff were exceptional, the accomadation is truly 5 *, the food and drinks menu is great and the location is awesome. Although our couple of days planned in Yosimite were ruined, the disappointment was compensated by this fantastic lodge!

Beautiful stay at Rush Creek last week as we visited Yosemite with the family. Great staff. Loved talking with very friendly character Dylan each morning in the well-equipped General store about Seattle days. Live music by the pool and two large hot tubs with helpful, charismatic bartenders giving me their bourbon recs. Only downside was private parties prevented our poolside BBQ dinner which I think should not have been 2 straight nights. But, it allowed me to try the delicious goat cheese polenta in the tavern. It was awesome! My family is sick of hearing about it. From Florida, but we would stay here in a sec if we head back out to Yosemite!

Place is very clean and nice! Service is very good. This hotel is amazingly kid friendly! I highly recommend it if you have kids. It has a game room which includes jungle gym for kids, a pool area, hot tub, and playground for kids. Very kid friendly and I highly recommend it if you are going on vacation with your family.

We like this place a lot. Great breakfast and dinner (if you pay a little more). Near Yosemite. The only issue we had was that we were told that there was no need for dinner reservations at the restaurant, but when we showed up at 7pm, the host told us it would be a 45 min wait. There was only 2 tables out of 20 with people at them. We didn't get an explanation for the wait other than a list of the people ahead of us.

Family Friendly; almost to a fault. Built around a pool and rec area with all the games and play structures your kids would dream of. Like a cruise ship on land — in a beautiful location right outside the park. Villas are in good shape with comfortable beds. Convenience store is well stocked. Restaurant was pretty good. Free smores around the fire at night is a nice touch. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Be warned though, this is not a place for peace and quiet.

Absolutely wonderful lodge right outside the Yosemite Park entrance. Great bar and restaurant, and a nice mix of multi-room villas and more traditional hotel rooms. Friendly staff make you feel very welcome. Huge pool and hot tub, plus big rec room for the kids and a nice guest lounge for reading or board games. Highly recommended.

I love Rush Creek Lodge. Am here with my 2 adult daughters for a graduation trip. The Tecteation Staff is so helpful even though we did our own thing at Yosemite. Housekeeping is thorough and really does clean each day. The chef has been very willing to adapt things for my vegan daughter and there’s lots of vegetarian options even on the BBQ and Cajun poolside dinner nights. The poolside bartenders are so friendly and they definitely don’t shy away from giving you your money’s worth of alcohol. The tomatillo (green Bloody Mary) is awesome! The girls did yoga on paddle boards in the pool and wished it was held more frequently. Our villa is spacious and the only thing we wished for was a microwave and perhaps a few pots and pans/ real kitchenette. We’re sad to leave tomorrow. The staff is a huge part of what makes this place so wonderful — the kovation — 1/2 me from Yosemite National Park entrance — couldn’t be better. Give Stars easily.

This place is great. They really pay attention to the little details that make a hotel room great. The whole property is really nice. Great staff. The game room is perfect for kids and adults. I really appreciated the kids books and games in our room. No TV in the room was the best thing about it. Well worth the rate. Great place to base out of for Yosemite.

Everything about this place is perfect! The beautiful villas, The heated pool and spa! We made our first ever s’mores. The food is yummy and I am super fussy! We have had an amazing stay so far the staff are super friendly and helpful I’ve never been so in love with any accommodation we’ve ever stayed at when coming to the states! I highly recommend this place it’s worth every cent.

Great stay. Rooms were modern and clean. Plenty of space by the pool. They have a tavern on property (service was a little slow but food was alright). It is just minutes away from the National Park gate.

This is my wife’s favorite place for a Bloody Mary! The bartender was awesome, the facilities are amazing and the outside deck overlooking the pool is relaxing! Highly recommend this place. The drive from Pine Mountain Lake (Groveland) is short but beautiful, well worth the trip!

This is by far the best place I have ever stayed! They truly know how to treat their guests. Free Smores around the campfire at 6 pm, 2 heated pools, Jacuzzi, the BEST rec room for kids and the coziest spot for adults to relax in the lounge. Restaurant, BREATHTAKING views, everything you could ask for! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Love you RCL!

The hotel is awesome and everything they offer for the kids is amazing. The downfalls are the food at the restaurant aren't the greatest and are over priced. The beds are uncomfortable. Who still uses spring mattresses? If your looking for a TV there isn't one. The Wi-Fi in the room sucks. All in all for the price I think we're better off staying somewhere else.

It’s a beautiful place, and the staff is friendly. There was a raucous party on my floor, and the night crew quieted the situation quickly. I was irritated that the facility doesn’t have bathrobes in the room or for request. The heated pool and hot tubs are open year round, but it’s a cold walk in January.

Rush creek is great! After not being able to book rooms at Yosemite valley lodge, we got a villa at rush creek for half the price. Really great value and trendy rooms with views! Will definitely stay there again.

I am truly impressed with the Rush Creek Lodge. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and absolutely perfect for a family. There’s a great heated pool with a lovely surrounding pool lounge area, a game room, a fire pit with s’mores in the evening, and even board games in the rooms for some family fun. I am also loving the decor inside and out; the rooms and common areas have a lovely contemporary/rustic vibe, and everything seems to go together just right. The rooms are not only very cute, but they are roomy and practical, with thoughtful storage and seating. Everything seemed just very well considered, right down to the foresty body wash. Worth mentioning, there’s no TVs in the room or a fitness center. I actually think this is a nice thing, as there is really more a focus on having a fun time together here. But, people looking for those things should know. The only downside was maybe that the service in the tavern wasn’t great… but I attribute that to them being incredibly busy, and I’m not too concerned by that.

Excellent hotel. Probably one of the best options to stay to sleep in the Yosemite National Park, which is not bell. The hotel has all the services and amenities you can be looking for. It's not cheap but the price is well worth the experience. Spacious and very comfortable rooms with board games to spend a very nice night with the family. They have a campfire at night where you can prepare on fire some things. They have a game room which is fantastic. In the same building they have a huge living room with fireplace that has a great atmosphere and décor. They have villas where they have room for 6 people in two separate rooms. The bar is nice. The restaurant is somewhat expensive for the type of food but still not bad.

Rush Creek feels very new and resort-like. It has a relaxed atmosphere with great accomodations. The wooden construction of everything gives it an outdoorsy feel. The overnight hotel rooms were spacious and had great decorations, and the bathrooms were very nice.

Staff was a bit rude when arriving. I brought my service dog with me and they pointed out something on there training manual that by Ca state law I needed to pay a Cleaning deposit. *Service dogs are protected under FEDERAL LAW FYI. This was NOT a legal document or a legal doc reference, just something they wrote and printed. You hear the the toilet water running through the pipes of the paper thin walls all night. Every step above you is heard. I tried reaching someone at the front desk for an hour and never had a person answer the phone. No TV’s in the room (not that big of a deal) it’s nice to catch up on the news at night or in the morning. It is clean. And the pools are nice. The Tavern guys are friendly too.

Great lodge where you like to spend your time. Of particular note are the rooms and the very friendly nice staff. We were on site for three days and enjoyed every minute. The lodge has a main house and several villas. The rooms are very clean, everything looks new and very well maintained. In the main house there is a playroom (billiards, air hockey, pinball and a large climbing wall for smaller children with suspension bridge to romp around), a very good shop to stock up on refreshments, postcards and souvenirs. Furthermore, two restaurants, which is more like a diner casual, the second corresponds more to a classic restaurant. We were in the diner every night with our young children and were very pleased. In addition, there is also a really large pool where you can actually swim tracks. There is also an information booth with a guide suggesting day trips to Yosemite Park, or offering paid tours. The resort itself is only about 2 miles from Yosemite Park's main entrance. We like to come back.

Amazing staff and service. We were offered a complimentary upgrade on check in and they offered an extension cord for my electric car charging. Would definitely stay again. Loved it!

Came here for a business offsite meeting and everyone was wowed. The staff was incredibly nice and got to meet the owner, along with Bob the facility manager. This place is in top notch condition and like something out of a holiday movie between Thanksgiving and New Years. The weather was perfect as well and it's convenient to the park. They have a common area in the same building as the bar and restaurant that is a throwback to a by-gone era. Large leather couches next to a big fireplace, books for reading, board games and a game room full of non-computer games like foose ball, pool table and pinball machines. I will definitely be taking the family here when I take them to the magnificent Yosemite Park. I took the pics with the review myself to show how great this location is.

This place is Amazing! Must come and bring your family here. Just a mile outside the park entrance. The staff was wonderful, we came in from Georgia and had never been to Yosemite but always wanted to go. So glad we did. The recreation staff was great, helped us with what we should go see in the park. Also, their restaurant on site was delicious. They have a heated salt water pool and there were actually 2 ppl in it at 8:00pm with it being a chilly 37 degrees out. For their guest they do a Smores session every night by the fire pit 6-8pm. Great for family time or socializing. Rooms were very nice and clean. You cant go wrong by staying here. Will be back soon. Angela.

Nice place with great views. The food was pretty good, great beer/wine selection, excellent service. We were there just for the afternoon and but we look forward to coming back for a weekend stay.

Super kid-friendly game room and activities including rental bikes. Clean and comfortable villa rooms. Lots of comfort food dining options with friendly service. Recreation desk went unattended past 8am — — was hoping to get more info/suggestions about activities + the park before we set off.

Rush Creek Lodge is just past the Yosemite National Forest entrance on 120 West. It is a beautiful hotel about 40 minutes from Yosemite Valley. It features Villas for groups as well as traditional hotel rooms in their main Lodge. The rooms in the main lodge are neat and unique, with barn doors log and cabin esque furniture. The amenities include heated pool and hot tubs, general store with espresso bar, game room, restaurant, and a bar / tavern. The staff is friendly and helpful, and overall we had a great experience.

The superb hotel near the entrance to Yosemite is beautifully equipped with full Siza swimming pool children's playroom there are lots of bonfires for friends to drink, chat and entertain at night.

Only tested the restaurant, in the middle of what is a very large hotel complex. Excellent quality, if not exactly cheap but this is Yosemite. Good beer selection. We ended up going three three evenings in a row as there is really nothing else around this particular area anyway, and did not regret it!

Beautiful, lively hotel conveniently located just outside Yosemite. Rustic but with all the modern conveniences. First night here and I'm blown away! Live music and poolside BBQ, s'mores around a wood (not gas! ) fire pit, massage rooms, lounge, game room, and games like ping-pong everywhere. Rooms are very clean and new, with balconies. The lodge suite comfortably fits 3-4 adults. Dinner at the tavern was delicious, and not too expensive. The general store has plenty of snacks and breakfast items, plus plenty of touristy gifts. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yosemite!

Outside of the fact that my kids lived for the free smores everyday and we extended our stay an extra 4 nights as the whole experience was so incredible, Joe J. (sorry Joe forget how to spell your last name) saved us from a very unpleasant night. I managed to lose my rental car keys during a bike ride in Yosemite. Yosemite hotels were all full. No taxis exist in Yosemite (no cell service either which is a disaster in this scenario). Car rental company couldn't do anything until next day. Kids started crying thinking it's the end of days as bears eat everything in sight after dark. I managed to get through to Joe who lent an employee his car to pick us up, and then even offered to let us use it the next day until new rental car could be obtained. Thanks thanks 1000 times thanks Joe — my fate might as well have been bear food if you hadn't come through for us.

An exceptional place. Super laid back but very friendly and helpful. Stayed here with the family and they loved it. Beautiful view from the lodge balcony, decent pool area that really comes alive at night with fire pits, s'mores, music, games like shuffleboard, ping pong, babyfoot, pool. Great little store with everything you need. Only one restaurant option but the food is varied and very good so for a few nights it works. Just outside Yosemite park, 45min drive to the valley floor, so early starts required to get parked. Definitely book one of the guided tours from Rush Creek, expensive but the guides will show you things you won't see otherwise.

My fiancé and I stayed 3 nights here. Everything from the room to the pool to the restaurant was outstanding. The room was clean and gorgeous. The outdoor area was very nice and the restaurant had great food. The Lodge is a short drive to the Yosemite entrance and about a 40 min drive to the Valley. The drive is worth it for having all the amenities the Lodge offers. One hundred percent will stay here again!

Edited: We are here with a large party for a wedding that is taking place on the property. They have several scenic locations where weddings can take place. The one the bride and groom expected to use was not initially going to be available due to circumstances beyond the hotel's control. However staff really went above and beyond to make the spot available and presentable for the wedding, which I understand required a great deal of work! The buildings are beautiful and it's location is very convenient if you are visiting Yosemite. They also have a great recreation department that coordinates an impressive number of activities for all ages on and off site.

Fantastic posh/rustic lodge. Good food, beautiful location, very friendly staff. My toddlers loved the games and toys in the kids areas. The pool and hot tub were great. Overall a lovely place to stay with the family for a "base-camp" from which to explore Yosemite!

Rush Creek is a really nice place. We stayed in a villa, plenty of room. Very clean. Helpful staff. The restaurant is good, and there's a rec room and a large hot tub. It's about 5-10 min away from the entrance of the park, and another 45 min to the valley floor.

Overall our 4 days was a good experience. Make sure when booking you don't get one of the rooms that faces the hill or you will have no view. The food was just OK and you only have a few other options in the area and need to drive a half hour or more to get there. The guided tours, we took two, were good and worth the money.

This lodge is amazing. Beautiful, clean and new, well staffed, good food, lovely rooms, great amenities. Can't wait to come back.

Very nice place, good hotel, heated pools with hydro massages, library room, several games room, bonfire and at 6:00 PM give away marshmallow, biscuits and chocolate for the campfire, excellent to go with children, Q I did not think the best is the tavern and restaurant. Few dishes, in both dining rooms have the same menu and the size of scarce dishes. For the hotel and facilities 5 stars, the dining room lo, there is a pantry which has medicines, beverages, dairy, some food, microwave to heat and bring to the piece food, treats, natural products, sweets, souvenir and others.

We were looking at potential wedding sites. Yes, the place is rather expensive, but the level of the lodge is amazing. State of the art, yet rustic. We had drinks at the bar and ate dinner at the restaurant. Would stop again to stay the night or eat on the way into/out of the valley. Great to see well thought development.

This place is so amazing! We learned that a lot of the wood was reclaimed from the construction and refurbished into the lodge. The food was amazing and the staff was even better. Very impressed.

Quite ok for this area here. Everything was kept very simple, nevertheless nice and very rustic.

Nice place. Small rooms. You can find many activities to do as it has among other things pool, Jacuzzi, library and games room.

Great place, we were here for 2 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the pool area was great, along with several fire pits that were kept lit in the evenings. There were even smores provided, along with various evening talks about the park and history of it that were open to everyone.

The villas are great, very modern while still maintaining that rustic cabin vibe. The view are breathtaking and it's really close to Yosemite. The people at reception are very informative and while help you out with any questions you have regarding Yosemite, they helped us with the road conditions and planning out what trail to take. Great place to stay!

Mostly a good stay… The lodge is still getting on its feet after what seems to have been a hurried and delayed start this past summer. Stayed in a 2BR "villa" on the bottom level. Noise from upper unit too easily heard through ceiling — would not stay in lower unit again. Water pressure and water temperature for shower both too low — this has been mentioned in other reviews. Barn door style door on bathroom was very difficult to operate — would not slide smoothly on track — one of us actually got stuck in bathroom at one point. Safety/night deadbolt was also not working property. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Wall heater in smaller bedroom worked but thermostat did not seem to correspond well to when heater would turn off/on. Considering all that, the staff were all great, eager to help, and friendly. Main lodge, tavern, game room all fun — nothing over the top but appropriate for a lodge. Kids had fun with games and enjoyed s'mores each evening. Would stay again — given positive attitude of staff, I'm sure more improvements are coming.
