We love it here! will definitely stay here again. Cozy, private, best crepes and love the decor.

We used to love it here, but our most recent stay was different. Perhaps new ownership. OAN news playing constantly on the big screen in the main room left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome as guests. The warm and friendly atmosphere of French music and radio has been replaced by loud conspiracy theories piped in while you dine in the once-quaint kitchen.

Great campers. Very comfortable and in a great location. Walking distance from great food and downtown. Have fun!

Warm and welcoming. Loved the daily fresh build your own crepes and fresh coffee. Truly a gem with so much character! A home away from home!

One of the best places I have stayed at. Just a completely wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed there for 6 nights and totally loved the hotel. Great location, hotel parking. We were welcomed/checked-in by Robin, she's super friendly and wonderful person. The bedrooms are super cute, colorful and very French! Love how comfortable the bed/mattress was (the bedding was also exquisite and high quality), that's very important to me as I have a bad back. I was super impressed with the bathroom's and the overalls room's cleanliness. Also enjoyed the morning coffee and crepes, all included. The hotel has a lot of personality and lots of personal attention with design and customer attention. So happy we found this place. Next time we're in California, we'll be staying there for sure! I stayed in Metro Hotel & Café in Petaluma last week. It was a last minute blind decision with not much background info on the Hotel (in fact I booked using Hotwire so I didn't even know which hotel I will get :), but what a great decision it was! Destiny! This is such a unique and special hotel, indeed a big highlight of the town and my trip eventually. I liked the attention to detail and the ambience the owner has created. Great design and customer experience. The trip was …made even more special by the ever smiling Ms. Sarah at the front desk. She was so friendly, courteous and indeed so helpful. She gave me a walkthrough of the property and showed me the room that was available, café et al. Finally I wanted to stay in the unique Airstream Trailer and she was happy to accommodate me there. In the morning, I made a request for a late checkout and she was exceptionally generous and accepting of that too. Sara clearly enjoys giving the best customer service she can, and is a BIG part of the hotel's 5-star experience. I can't wait to stay at this hotel again. Super highly recommended.

Couldn't love this hotel any more! Charming and eccentric decor with free pour over coffee around the clock and crepes for breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and unique. Great outside patios all around the property. Wonderful experience, will definitely come back.

Quaint hotel in Petaluma with french-themed interior. Feels like a B&B but with privacy. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Nice common area where you can hang out, and complimentary crepes, coffee, and tea are served for breakfast. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

Loved my experience staying at this eclectic hotel. It has it's own French inspired charm that cannot be found at any of your standard chain hotels. Free coffee and crepes in the morning (with a well-deserved tip jar), a honor/karma system self-serve bar, and comfortable rooms. You can even rent a classic Airstream! There is a small parking lot, but plenty of street parking. Very walkable to downtown Petaluma. If you're looking for a nontraditional yet charming experience, give it a shot!

Sarah was a wonderful host during our stay. Unfortunately our car was broken into in San Francisco and luggage stolen the day we checked in but the wonderful staff/owners of the Metro were extremely understanding and went above & beyond what we could have ever expected. The hotel itself is very charming and I can't wait for an excuse to make my way to Petaluma again so I can stay here once more.

You must stay here. The staff were nothing but courteous and welcoming. They made the place feel like home. The entire place overflowed with an air of eccentric elegance topped with an old French hotel twist. I cannot give this exquisite place, or the wonderful people who work there, a properly fitting rating as I am capped at 5 stars.

Awesome little hotel with a French vibe located near Pateluma city center. Had an amazing time sleeping in one of the many airstreams they have on site. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Owners can be found on site on occasion and are very easy to approach and are also very helpful. Great time guaranteed.

This was the. Cutest place! Very out if the ordinary. There are airstream trailers that look so awesome — I wish I could have seen inside them. The roo. S in the hotel are adorable, and the crepes in the morning — delicious!

We had such a lovely stay at The Metro Hotel. Our rooms were so pretty and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the big old bath tub and ornate mirrors and there was a generosity in what was provided too, plenty of towels, body lotion and shampoo. The staff are very pleaseant and friendly. Great coffee and crepes for breakfast. I'm so glad I found this place and will definitely stay there again!

We had a great time there — escape from work while also working at the hotel. Clawfoot tubs, cute rooms, and crepes. I want to go back every weekend! And might go regularly since we are local.

From the moment I opened the big red door I was enchanted! I travel through the Santa Rosa/Bay Area corridor often and always hoped I'd find a sweet spot like this. Very clean, quiet and quite like going down the rabbit hole and ending up in Paris! I'll chose Metro often!

My husband and son and I stayed for a wedding nearby. We really enjoyed this place. It's a easy walk to restaurants downtown and the housekeeper makes the best crepes at breakfast. Super charming place, we will be back!

Amazingly cute boutique hotel. Super friendly staff, close enough to walk to the city center, but far enough to be quiet. We stayed in one of the airstream trailers, which was charming and comfortable.

Staying in the Airstream 3 was a wonderful experience. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

Metro was a very cute, French themed Inn. It's an old building, but the furnishings were cute and the beds were very comfortable. We had a small claw foot tub; however the only downside was the hot water pressure was very low. This would not be a deter us from staying again.
The Inn offered free coffee & tea in the Café area with a sweet offering in the evenings and Crepes in the morning for breakfast.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable place to stay.

Love this quirky and charming place. The rooms are a little tight on space but the location and price are great and the morning cafe is so enjoyable. We will definitely return.

The complimentary crepes, muffins, coffee, and tea were delicious and the perfect way to start our day! Thin walls and rude neighbors didn't detract from the supremely cute and cozy atmosphere. The character of this place makes us pleased to have had the opportunity to stay here!

Nice small hotel, with a do it yourself kitchen and every room with a style of its own. They even have airstream rooms as well! Only spent one night, but I would stay again.

The Metro is a true gem! Extremely clean and very quiet! Located just blocks from downtown where there is many restaurants and shopping. The manager was superb providing us with some great restaurants and sights to see! Great coffee and crepes! We will definitely come back and stay! Susan and Greg.

Staff is very friendly and the rooms are unique! Very casual place and the manager even gave me a ride to the airport because he was already headed that way. Definitely going to stay there anytime I am in Petaluma!

Charming french themed hotel w free crepes for breakfast (after 8) organic Pete's pour over coffee and teas. Beautiful large room with a massive rain shower bathroom (108) super comfy beds and a great Thai restaurant next door. We loved it and will return. Paul was a great host — friendly with lots of helpful tips for enjoying the area.

If you want a unique experience, this is the hotel for you. The whole place is decorated, nothing feels like it wasn't planned. The environment is super casual and I'm looking forward to the complimentary coffee and crepes in the morning.

Sweet, quirky and clean place to stay on the Petaluma Blvd near restaurants, shops, the Mystic Theatre, hwy 101 and a short drive out to the coast. Very friendly owners and nice international decor all around for the modest rate.

We stayed here for a night during a road trip along the Central Coast. We stayed in one of the Airstreams as something different and for a fun experience. The inside of the Airstream was decorated nicely and the bed was very comfortable. Some of the issues we had were there were lots of ants in the Airstream, as well as in various places inside. The breakfast we had in the morning was delicious, but we wished there were a few more options besides just crepes and coffee (they also had a space for bread, but it was gone by 9am). Overall, we had a good experience, and with a few tweaks, this place could be a real gem.

We had a lovely overnight stay while in Petaluma to see a concert. A charming and quirky little inn with a delightful staff. We loved walking to historic downtown Petaluma for food and music, wit a massage thrown in for good measure. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable.

This hotel is very charming and cozy. My wife and I stayed over a weekend and had a great experience. We were looking for a place that wasn't a large chain that had a more personal feel and we are glad to have found it in the Metro. We look forward to staying again.

Cutest hotel EVER. Can't say enough great things about this perfect little place! So incredibly charming! Our room was perfect and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The drip coffee and crepes were a highlight to our mornings and the staff was great. We will certainly be back for another stay in the future!
