Easy to get to and helpful friendly staff. Pool was closed, but it was cold anyway. Right next to IHOP. Had pretty flowers. There was a little balcony. Couldn't hear the 101. If the prices stay reasonable, I would totally stay there again!

It's a great place, really. It's not a fancy, over the top place, but it was very clean, very comfortable, & very easy to find. The staff all were quite helpful for our needs throughout our stay & so easy to work with & kind. I would stay here again while in the area, especially since they have a special rate for Stanford patients. I only knocked off a star because sometimes you just need a piece of fruit & some yogurt to start the day. If they had a little breakfast I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars. Oh, my kiddos enjoyed the pool as well.

Wow what an improvement. The last time I came here it was 2 years ago. Usually we said this location because Denny's adjacent to the hotel. Even though this place was run-down I still stayed here because they always manage to give me a good room. I was completely shocked when I seen the renovation to this hotel. Very clean modern features the room smells brand-new and the AC smell clean. Completely 360 from several years ago. I travel back and forth to California and Hawaii and this location is central for me. I am definitely going to be booking here more often now. Also the late night agent was extremely friendly. Even though she said she worked there for 3 weeks she was very professional and kind.

Convenient location. Best value for the money, and a very nice hotel to stay. The hotel is very quiet, clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. They made sure my stay was very comfortable as possible.

Still under construction. Nice new remodel. I hop breakfast next door. Guest laundry facilities. Swimming pool. East location off the 101 with a turnaround street to get back on tge 101. Located close to shopping. Reasonably priced.

Very clean motel. The rooms are sufficiently large and very respectable. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom is in a clean and very nice condition. The motel is conveniently located at the exit of the highway. This takes relatively little time to San Francisco. The centre of Redwood City is within 10 minutes of walking. There you can eat and drink well. The service is very nice and the cleaning women keep the rooms tidy.

Went here for my first trip to California for my husbands 30th birthday. The first 2 hours we checked in we noticed substantial water leaking in our bathroom, our doorway and out into the lobby. We immediately informed the desk and they moved us into a new room. However, the woman working the desk by herself (and she may have been pregnant) handled it like a champ. Come to find out the person staying directly above us left their tub running and the water leaked down to the 1st floor. She was great. Rooms were nice, updated, nice TV, mini fridge. However, they are still remodeling which was disappointing considering I booked this trip 1 year ago and it still wasn't finished (no pool). The walls are a little thin and the bathtub had a slimy residue around the edges. There is also a no smoking policy on their site, they should at least have a designated area (unhealthy lifestyle or not). Super convenient location. Close to food, bars, gas stations, grocery and San Fran is only about 20 minutes away. Overall a 3 star. Not the greatest, not the worst. More Pros than Cons.

This property is really much more decent than it has any right to be at this price. It's currently under a light renovation, and the rooms have new carpeting and bathroom fixtures. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a little dicey, but it's certainly not the property's fault that it's located where it is. Definitely worth the money and more.

I can't be more grateful then I am for the outstanding serive received from Renee accommodating our needs. Our stay was paid for by the church as we came from out of town for my husband's surgery at Stanford. They took care of everything with the church and when we arrived it was with a warm welcome and no complications. We were booked in what appeared to be a newly remodeled room. Clean, big with a beautiful bathroom, close to the freeway and I hop right in the parking lot. Thank for a wonderful stress free experience.

A great value I don't know if I would stay here for long term but it has a really good price. My biggest concern was all the stuff in the parking lot it looked like they are getting ready to do construction but it's been there for a very long time. Quite worried about road hazards from my tires.

It is a clean place and it is nice because there noise of nothing is very quiet to rest my son ke like being in this hotel is its faborito. People who work Ayi are very aimables and educated.

I like this hotel. The bathroom has a great mirror for getting ready. Nice rooms and fair rates Staff is real nice. Good for long or short stays. It's newly remodeled.

The hotel is in the middle of a total remodel and the the new rooms are clean. The house keeping service is not good. The location is not bad easy access to the freeway.

Room was incredibly clean and neatly setup. Bed was comfy. For a basic and well priced room I was very happy with the experience. Stayed 1 night.

I'm always happy to return to this place. I have only a few standards; that the room is clean, and there are fresh towels and sheets. I'm not looking to set up residency just want a clean quiet inexpensive place to rest before I continue my journey and the Good Nite Inn meets that. And that's why I keep coming back.

WE went to check in at the hotel and were told that their policy for payment has been changed. With debit they want a $250 extra as deposit for the room We made the reservation on line and there was nothing about this. As a result we had to go looking for some place else to stay and ended up paying more for a lesser hotel. Needles to say we will not be staying there again. Our previous stays were tolerable at best, but this new policy is a deal breaker.

Absolutely wonderful staff and very pleasant room. Very clean and very comfortable. It is so refreshing to get in late and be tired and have your host welcome you, tell you they are glad you are here, and not only wish you a great night but tell you that your medical tests (the reason we're here) will be okay. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff alone make it worth it. The clean and spacious rooms are the bonus.

If you want to stay here, the volume should be tough, as a 10-lane highway runs directly to the hotel, which is busy for 24h. Since in America, the Harleys are not subject to a DB limit and these occur in their motherland far more often than otherwise, the walls wobble in 15 minutes from the penetrating hammering. Without ear plugs, there's nothing here at night. Breakfast is served entirely in disposable materials. So cutlery and cups all in plastic or cardboard plates as on the children's birthday. The standard of breakfast widely known is very modest throughout America. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The service was nice and friendly.

The front desk night lady is just the nicest! We were being told by every hotel in the area that they had no vacancies. When we finally made it to her window, she said the same, except she helped us find another hotel that actually had one room left and reserved it for us until we got there. All the others wanted to do was not be bothered so they could go back to sleep. Thanks night clerk with the Hummer!

Old motel (Howard Johnsons) with good bones and mostly renovated. Good location close to government center. A good choice for something more reasonable in an area that is now part of Silicon Valley.

Who would think a place like the Good Night Inn — whose sign looks like it belongs in an 80s slasher film — would be a solid hotel? Not me, but it is! Exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, spacious rooms, and quiet. Overall a solid stay.

Clean, large, modern rooms. Check in employee (Heba) was so friendly and professional, she provided all the necessary information and assisted us in all our questions. Morning complementary coffee is served at the reception and the pool sitting was beautiful view.

Easy to get to, cheap pricing, clean, and very handicap accessible for the ADA rooms. Great for those staying for treatment at Stanford.

Very happy with our stay here. The rooms are newly renovated, nice and clean with your own personal balcony/deck. Had a refrigerator in our room which is always a plus. Nice bathroom with a big tub/shower and I loved the huge full size mirror that lit up all the way around. The pool and courtyard was nicely landscaped with beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees. The staff was friendly and made our stray enjoyable. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area ❤

I'm tired as type this so I'll just put down whatever comes to mind without my usual sarcasm. Ample parking. Very nice staff. Cute girls in lobby. Pretty good area. I'm not at all concerned about break-ins. They are renovating which it does need. Our toilet just runs. Wont flush the conventional way. No fan in the bathroom. No microwave. Big room. A nice big swimming pool. We actually get a patio which is very nice. All in all, id stay again only if we get a nicer room. Ours was kinda dirty. And old.

Very nice room at a reasonable price. Staff especially HEBA was very accommodating. Quiet and comfortable. I think we had one of the newer rooms. Highly recommend.

It was decent for a 2 star hotel. Beds and pillows were comfortable. However, we did find cockroaches in the refrigerator when we first opened it. That was a sight we didn't want to see. And the bathroom didn't have toilet paper. We had to go the front desk to ask for it.

Amazing staff. I have frequented the Good Nite Inn a few times lately, as I am pregnant and working in the area. The staff members actually recognized me and asked me how I'm doing how far along I am and if I ever need anything. They also can you give me rooms that are on the quieter side of the building. They set me up with an extra pillow even! Not only that but they are so friendly to well-behaved pets. Also very understanding and flexible which is one of the best thing about them. I believe all the rooms are all equipped with refrigerators, TVs and each other room come to the court which is amazing nice to be able to step ooutforsome fresh air without leaving your room.

The hotel was pretty average, as hotels go. The two things that made this above average are the price and the service. The price was great. Good size room, clean, relatively comfortable bed for under a hundred bucks. And the lady at the front desk went above and beyond to get a room ready for early check-in since we had just finished a 5.5 hour drive. Great customer service. The hotel is about 45 minutes from SFO city (with traffic) and 15 from the airport, so great location. I would happily stay here again.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. The one reason I gave this stay a one star is because I have to select a star rating in order to post this review. The security on the entry door did not work so maintenance simply put a piece of card board in the doorway so the entry door wouldn't lock. And there were two police men at the hotel when we arrived there. The smoke alarm was covered with clear plastic, the carpet didn't look clean, and it looked like no one had ever cleaned under the beds. In addition the bed covers looked soiled. Basically, the only place that looked clean was the check-in lobby. I'm glad that the Good Nite Inn employees don't have to suffer like the guests do!

Nice neat and clean. Was charged $80 for one night. I think it was more if you see distance between city and Inn. Shud have been around $50-$60

Not a bad place. It looks good from the outside but rooms are old. It has a big parking lot and the location is good. The night I stayed was full pack with old business men so it felt a lot better. But all in all its ok.

30 minutes from San Francisco, this hotel has large comfortable clean rooms at a great price. More over, the staff is excellent! There's also an IHOP restaurant on the property.

I'll give it a two star only because we lived here for months back last summer and they were renovating the rooms and kicked us out, so we had to go to another room and they didn't even give us a free night because of it. The water was down for 5 hours everyday for like a week, and it the manager said they were also putting new furniture in, but they never did that. Still same old crap. This place is cheap, it's falling apart, and they have more money than probably any other good hotel to renovate the whole thing. But they don't. The only good part about really is that there were blue belly lizards there, like hundreds of them. We caught a few and made them our pets.

First, let me just say that I did not choose this hotel. A family member booked the room for me and I had never seen the location previously. I would have chosen a different location had the choice been left to me. That being said, it was not to bad. I did not interact with the staff so I will not review that. The room was okay. It could have been cleaner but it was not repulsive either. Furnishings and linens were cheap and perhaps a little worn. The carpeting was questionable; I kept my shoes on. If you're simply looking for a place to sleep it's acceptable. There's an Ihop right next door which makes breakfast convenient. The location is okay.

The hotel is located right off the 101, but from my room I heard no road noise. Upon arrival the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, smelled great, and all the ammenities were in good condition. The room is small but has everything you need.

Its the quality you'd expect from the price. Beds were fine, everything was clean. Only reason for low review is one of the front desk guys was short and a little rude (after going to the pool I asked if there was a hot tub he answers "did you see one? ") although to be fair the other guy at the front desk the first night was really nice and professional. No hot tub by the way. I'd recommend it if youre looking to save money.

The service was ok. They were polite at first but when I came back to ask about the ice machine, they were short and not very nice.

I was in the second floor. Close the to the stairs entrance. There were no problem with noise. The price was the smallest for the day of my stay in the around area. The heater worked OK. Water in the bathroom hot OK. Hair dryer, shampoo, soap and towels were provided. The staff Leo and Ahmed were very nice and cordially received the guests. The only thing that could improve is the cleanness of the bathroom. Some hairs on the shower wall and in the towels. But not too much. The overall experience was OK and I would stay there again.

This is a great little motel, a diamond in the rough. We walked in looking for a room and got a great deal. The room was clean and well appointed. The place was quiet even though it's on a busy street near a highway. An A+ experience and we would recommend it and stay there again!

Pleasantly surprised! A cute, quaint friendly hotel. Reminds me of a little place we stayed in Costa Rica — back to basics with good people comfortable rooms. Sometimes we get glazed over by fancy amenities and forget that a cute little homey clean stop is just what you need! Clean room, clean bathroom, balcony, adorable pool and Renee at the front office is awesome!

I had a great time there nice area has a pool staff r helpful wish it had more TV channels but ac helped out I'm willing to stay some other time.

The sanitary condition of the Good Nite Inn is so horrendous that I have to document it here as a matter of public health and to warn potential patrons. The first night was ok. Few stains on carpet. Second night was when it happened: I got bit by bed bugs all over. It looked so bad that even the front desk person took a photo of my arm because she couldn't believe how many rashes and bites there were: I look like I had some infectious skin disease. In defense of the manager/front desk, they offered to switch me to another room (which they promised will not have new bugs). But I was very leary and was afraid to fall sleep there. Again, first night, nothing happened. Second day, I came back and took a nap. Woke up and found a large bug (not a bed bug) crawling on the bed. At that point, I've had enough and asked for a refund for the remainder of my reservation and took my business elsewhere. I am still finding new bites on my body two days after I've left the Good Nite Inn (some of the bugs must have clung onto my clothes/blankets). Not only do I have to disinfect all my belongings now, I will need to go see a doctor. Planning to report this incidence to the Better Business Bureau, CA Dept of Public Health, and to sue the motel if I have some long term skin issues. I can say from painful first-hand experience that you should stay away from the Good Nite Inn if possible.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 nights. This hotel is in a very convinient location and a very nice city. San Francisco is only about 25 min away. After reading some reviews we were iffy on staying here but let me say they are nothing like their bad reviews. We were treated really well, their customer service was superb. The room was very nice and clean. The room did have an old TV but this isn't a 5 star hotel with a flat screen tv. I do recommend this hotel to anybody who is going to visit San Francisco or San Mateo. During our stay I had told my friends to come to this hotel because we were all heading to the same event and they all loved the hotel. It is worth the price and I definetly would stay here again.

The check in lady was not friendly upon first impression. No use for key card in secured hallways. Smh. Poorly maintained rooms. Long Hairs were found cover when unwrapping to sleep. Smh. The pillow cases look like somebody drooled a pool of saliva. Yuk. The restroom seems like it had some Mickey Mouse jobs inside it. It has ancient electrical system. The heater unit is loud. When I flipped the light switch nothing turned on until I switched a lamp then clicked the switch to light up the room. This clearly a poorly maintained room.

Some rooms are great, others are outdated. Every room I've been in, there's something broken (tv, outlet, showerhead etc). I love the porches, but I wouldn't walk more than two block by myself in that area. 24-hour Ihop right next door is a great addition.

It's pretty ok. Not bad. We booked it with our package n wasnt expecting much so it was pretty good. The breakfest tho is only muffins with coffee or oj.
