The Westin is a extremely nice place to stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Great venue to have an event I have attended many parties here and always love the atmosphere!

I highly recommend the steelhead brewery. Why?. Because I bar tend there the food is great they got pool tables and the shuttle downtown Burlingame runs there:). So come say hi to chris and Johnny the bar tenders :).

Excellent front desk staff and the bellmen remember me when I approach the entrance. I stay here several times per month. They are always professional and helpful. The rooms are quite nice and the amenities on a par with most higher end facilities.

We checked in and front desk was very friendly and helpful. Cocktail hour was relaxing. Even though we are near the airport I hear no outside noise when in the room.

Our room was incredibly noisy (could very clearly hear whenever anyone above us was running water), shower water pressure was poor, and this property nickels and dimes you for literally everything. Parking — $30-$40, internet — $10, and they charge for what basically amounts to a continental breakfast. This has been our experience in the past with Marriott and their properties. Didn’t know beforehand that they own Westin. We won’t stay here again. Beds were comfortable, though.

Great hotel. Close to the airport/BART. Free shuttle to to the airport. Clean, updated room, friendly staff and nice pool/hot tub. Not many restaurants close to the hotel. Had to walk about 15 — 20 min for a non hotel restaurant. Only issue was that the fridge was not that cold. Would definitely stay again!

Decided to do a last minute stay cation for the holiday weekend. We enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing the beds are super comfy and I melted into it each night! The staff each and every person was super nice and made us feel so welcome. Also with the Aloft hotel next door it gives you a cool kid bar to go hang out in. My only complaint was the price of food and selection… price way to high ($9.00 for one and a half deviled eggs) and I mean it's the bay area food should be more of a selection and better for the price. But I would definitely return here to hide out and relax in the future (I live 15 minutes away)

Has free hotel shuttle. There is not much around it. You can walk to in n out burger and Panera Bread about 1/2 mile away if you don't want to pay ridiculous hotel prices. ($7 for vanilla iced latte! ) hotel has a great walking path along the water.

I have been staying here for 14 years and have always had a great experience. Well now, since being bought out by Marriott, the nickel and diming had begun. $7.99 for every ten minutes of business center use! Platinum guests would get free breakfast now you only get it if you trade in your bonus points. I fear this is just the beginning…

Such poor service and response from a simple question,,, why?!?! If you can not help, please quickly guide your guests to the right staff who can! Don’t just be there working physically! Need to be there willing to work mentally too!

The staff was nice and very professional, but that's where the good part ends. The design of our room was ridiculous. The bathroom door and closet door were located in a way that one would prevent the other from opening. There was NO store where you could buy items you might need. They just had a few sad items hanging on a wall near the desk. Go to the Marriot down the street. Its much, much nicer.

This hotel is classy, convenient, and very friendly staff. I stay here when I visit San Francisco. The value is so much better than what you get in the city. It's just a 15 minute drive up 101. Oh, they have THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Ask for a bay view. I live watching the planes landing.

Best sleep I've had in a while. Great rooms, very spacious. Loved the showers. Crappy location, there aren't really any places to eat nearby and the hotel food is SUPER overpriced. $30/day for parking and there are no other options nearby to park.

Great pool with natural light. The room was quiet with a nice view. Very comfortable bed and sheets. Central AC. Free cookies and water on the way in. Perfect location to the airport with free shuttle to take you there.

We only waited about 15-20 minutes for the free shuttle to the hotel. The shuttle was absolutely packed, so additional shuttles would have been nice. They had to turn away several people that had been waiting to wait for the next shuttle. The room was very nice and clean and check in was fast and easy. Would stay at again!

I stayed in this hotel for single night, but my experience was good. The hotel crew was very professional and helpful, the room was cozy and elegant. The view from the room 655 wasn't the best one, despite its position on the sixth floor, but I think that other rooms may have a better one. The airplane noise from the airport it's audible, but not annoying. I would probably come back to this hotel, if needed.

Save your money, this is a Westin in name only. The rooms allow a lot of noise from the hallways (mine had a huge gap between floor and door). The layout of our suite was awful, with the couch facing away from the TV in the windowless living room. There are no convenient switches for the lights in the bedroom. There is no bathtub. Parking is $30/night. The bathroom had a granite countertop, so if you really want that, stay here. Otherwise, stay somewhere else until this hotel receives a much needed update.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are nice and so are the amenities. It is by the SF airport so you can hear planes, but it's not that bad. Pretty view of the bay and the airport. The lobby is big, clean and welcoming. Make sure you pay for parking with the hotel or show them your parking ticket before leaving. We said we were going to pay at the parking gate as we left the parking lot, which we did, but we we're also charged by the hotel. The person told us it was fine and we weren't going to be charged on our hotel bill, but we were. It was solved, but an unecessary issue to deal with.

As a Platinum guest, the front desk went out of there way to make my experience amazing. Great customer service. For a Westin, the hotel rooms could use some upgrades. Overall guest experience was excellent.

We got a great deal in the down season. The room was immaculate. The bed was super comfy and I loved the shower head. There's a pool and tub. The pool was a tad on the cold side, so we mostly used the hot tub. It would have been nice if robes were provided, especially for such an upscale hotel.

Nice, clean and well appointed hotel right near the airport. Good beds and quiet despite the runway being nearby. Food options are good with full service which the more hip Aloft nextdoor doesn't have.

We have stayed there twice in the past 3 weeks prior to and after long international flights. The service was excellent, and the rooms we had were very quiet and comfortable. And, they went the extra mile for us when I inadvertently left my cell phone there. They located it and rapidly mailed it back in perfect condition. We will stay there anytime we need accommodations near SFO.

Two stars for two reasons. 1 — Housekeeping comes around 8am and uses the key to knock on every door. If I am checking out then a) checkout is at 11 or noon b) I go to the front desk and will Check-out. 2 — Housekeeping or some wired guy knocked three times around 10am and then opened the door. Did *NOT* wait for me to answer and then said sorry sorry and closed the door. I could hear him do this to other doors after ours. What if my child was naked coming out of the shower? Or my wife or myself? NO THOUGHT or maybe that is what they want to see! (otherwise I would have given them 5*)

Great experience! We had our trade show there and I can't say enough good things about the service. Especially "M" who made sure we were happy throughout the event. Anyone looking for a place to hold an event in this area needs to consider the Westin!

I stayed at this hotel in august of 2017. It was an excellent experience. The room rate was fair, the service was great, and the room, lobby, and restaurant were all superb. My complaint is that when I planned a trip for February of 2018, the rate had tripled. When I called and asked if I was given the correct rates, I was told that when the hotel is in great demand, they raise their rates. I think this is a very poor business model and I find it hard to believe that this is the attitude of Westin corporate. As a customer you want to feel that you are important to the hotel — even in a small way. Perhaps the better comment would be the only rooms left are premium rooms because all of the others are sold out. I am trying to be a loyal customer here. I ended up staying at another hotel.

The Westin is wonderful! Close to the airport, great restaurants, and fantastic rooms. The best thing about the Westin are the people that work there. The front desk are incredibly personable and helpful, room service is fantastic, and the valets go out of their way to make sure you have a ride. Love staying here!

Excellent! Very clean, and the staff is friendly. It's a little pricey, but you get 5 star accommodations at a 3/4 star price, so I'd say it's worth it, if you have the ability to do so. I highly recommend — especially to those traveling for business.

Convenient location with a nice shuttle service to the hotel. The staff were pleasant, the rooms had plenty of space, but this stay the TV remote did not work, and the tub drain did so at a snail's pace. All I'm sure we're taken care of after I let the front desk know upon checkout. Overall nice stay.

Very nice hotel and is very close to the airport. Hotel has free shuttle (about 20 minutes per pick up) to and from the airport. I got a corner room so it is pretty big with a decent view of the runway on the lake. Noise isolation is good. I tried the New York strip from the restaurant and it is pretty good for hotel food. Will come back again if I am in the area.

Well below (gross) Westin brand standards. If you think the price is a bargain for this hotel brand, it is not once you see it. Interior is very dirty — do not walk in room with bare feet. If you do dare to walk in bare feet, step in the shower and look at the color of the water after doing so. Bar and grill food is sub par too — prefer food court at the airport. Shuttle does not run on time with the schedule provided. Feel badly for the staff as they are genuine very nice and almost apologetic for the quality of the place. Don't be fooled by the price — consider paying more at another hotel if you are looking for a "Westin" brand level hotel — this one will disappoint. Even for the price.

Overall I liked the hotel. Great beds and hot shower. I did feel could use a facelift. Hallways are a bit confusing. Seemed like minor construction happening. Overall polite staff and very frequent shuttle to the airport.

The Westin, San Francisco Airport is exactly what you would expect for an airport hotel as a business individual on the go. It is at the absolute upper end of middle class hotels and presents well with a smile, is very clean and obviously automatically caters for the business woman or man, no questions asked. Although upgrades have been made, the room we stayed in was starting to date, in particular the bathroom, and having booked ahead as a couple, with specific needs, it was disappointing turning up to a room with dead flowers, only one robe and adequate towels for only one person. At the rate paid, I would expect those details to be covered, even at an Airport Hotel. Dead flowers are so depressing in a hotel room. It is nice to have an in-room refrigerator, however the lack of true tea cups and saucers to have a cup and tea and cookie on, is cheap in my opinion. The shower head was extremely blissful (one of the new Kohler water saving ones that massages) and the bed was as Westin guarantees — very comfortable. The room was quiet and we got the rest we needed. I can certainly recommend this place for as quiet a night as possible, this close to the international airport. At a push we would certainly stay there again, if we needed to, and as stated, it was a comfortable night's rest. Perhaps if some of the smaller details had not been forgotten, it would not have been such a dreary experience. Mobility parking cannot be seen on arrival, but is available.

Not enough parking. Lots of cars were parked illegally. Had breakfast and lunch in the aspen room. Nice tables, food was ok. Had a meeting in the bayshore ballroom, set up was good and sound was clear. Service staff was friendly and accommodating.

My family is without a home from the fires in Santa Rosa. I phone to book a room and the cost for a room was over $800/night. This kind of price gouging is shameful and immoral (how is it not illegal? ). I will never stay at a Westin.

Super comfortable bed! Unreal view. Very close to the airport and a free shuttle made this super easy to get to our flight. Little walk from the transit but they will even take you with the shuttle to the airport transit station so all good.

Breakfast sucked but the hotel was lovely. The flavored water in the lobby is amazing. The parking can be challenging. But the location is quiet and very close to the airport. Good restaurants nearby (not walking distance). Do NOT eat breakfast here. Thank me later.

We are staying here next couple days, definitely not a 4 star hotel. Do not spend your money here they are other great hotels nearby. If you are planning on getting a good night sleep (good luck) the beds are full size bed, queen size doesn't exist in this hotel. Front desk staff you could do s lot better treating your guests. The hotel is very up-to-date and the staff members are extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and the shower had both a fixed shower head and a detachable shower head. I had sliders from the restaurant in the hotel and they were scrumptious.

Interior and superb service.

The hotel was really nice as were the people. Great location near the airport and In-n-out Burger. The free shuttle to and from the airport worked perfect for us as well.

Standing at the check in counter now at the Westin. Booked a room for the 16th tonight on their site and when transitioned over to the SPG site, the date was changed to tomorrow without my knowledge. Standing here with three kids, they up the rate from 209 to 500 per room. No accommodation, even when showing the agent the date changes with out my selecting. Still would not honor rate. I will tell every person I know not to stay here as well all my TDY government employees who travel. Worst experience ever and their site for check out stinks. Manager would not even come to speak, made the agent walk back and forth three times, since she told us 250 difference instead of 500.

Stayed here a few nights and loved it. Great prices for outside San Francisco. The front service guy is what made my stay awesome. Friendly. Knowledgeable and made me feel at home. Highly recommend.

The room was small but quiet considering how close the building is to the airport! Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water. The staff though are amazing! Very very helpful. Also breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and will be next week actually.

Great. Loved it here! The front staff dude was awesome. Hooked me up with everything I needed. Was very knowledgeable on information I needed. The fact that he was so nice made me want to stay longer and also recommend. Parking is pricey, $26 self and $30 valet. We did valet because there was no parking left. Overall great experience and would stay again. Highly recommend!

We stayed here with our family the night before an early flight from SFO. Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel to ask if it were possible to get a room facing the airport so that our autistic son could watch the planes land. We had booked an inexpensive pre-paid room available to SPG members so we were not expecting much. We were contacted within a day by the hotel manager stating they would be happy to upgrade us. Upon arrival we found out that not only had they upgraded u…s to a bay view room but they had upgraded us to the presidential suite so that our son had the best view possible of the planes. On top of this already unbelievably kind gesture, they had cookies, milk, and fruit waiting for us on the dining room table with a card for our son welcoming him. I will never be able to put in to words how much this meant to our family. Traveling is not always easy with our son and this thoughtful gesture took away so many of the nerves we had about this trip and our son was beside himself with joy. We will be loyal Westin guests from here on. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your hospitality. P. S. Even without the upgrade the hotel is beautiful, beds are comfortable, and staff is friendly.

Stayed here for a BEAUTIFUL wedding, but the service here was horrible from the time we stepped a foot in the door,, started with customer service desk, the bell boy sucked, we had to waive a bell boy down so he can take our luggage up to our room. He was the best and only help we got there his name was Kevin, he deserves a tip! Would not recommend this place to anyone!

I'm here now and I just took a shower. 5 stars for the shower alone. Seriously. Rainfall showerhead, perfect pressure, super hot. Best shower of my life. I'm going to buy one when I get home. The $160 was worth it for that shower alone. If you're planning to come for the pool, be prepared for it to be FULL of kids. We didn't end up using it because it was too chaotic in there for us and our 16 month old. The room was clean, updated (bathroom looks new), very comfortable beds, comfortable crib for our son, there's a fridge, nice view of the bay and airplane runway. Could use new clocks with plugs for phones. Yes, you can hear noises just like any hotel, but I use a sound machine to sleep so no bother to me. The food at the restaurant was good, but way overpriced, as to be expected in San Fran. No Wi-Fi in room unless you pay $10. There's a cute neighborhood lobster place in walking distance with outdoor seating. New England something. It also looks like there is park and trail across the street along the water. Parking is $25 a night (again to be expected in San Fran). We returned our rental car a day early and got money back, plus it saved us the parking fees and hassle in the morning. We will take the free shuttle provided by hotel to airport tomorrow instead.

Check in was quick and easy, with recognition of status and upgraded room without having to ask. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious (but pricey). Room was large and spacious and a comfortable bed.

The Westin SFO : rooms clean and comfortable, in room nice robe, wine glasses and bottle opener; on site atrium pool and jacuzzi are nice, on-site restaurant dinner and buffet breakfast well-rounded menu and delicious, very quiet and couldn't hear planes, some noise through connecting door to adjacent room, bathrooms show a little wear in paint, flooring and counters but have new fixtures; staff very courteous and helpful.

Amazing hotel all together! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and we where impressed by how nice the pool was! Although, we quite a few problems with room keys and parking. Great location, but a bit noisy as expected being so close to an airport, but not to bad.

A travel disruption, and they charged my card without sending me a receipt or notification, I happened to identify the problem when reviewing unreimbursed charges. Now that they've been called on it, the best they (i. E. Michael Smith, Director of "Guest Services") can assert is "Had your Travel Agency or you reached out to us during the time of your difficult travels, we could have offered more flexibility. " I did reach out, but they're asking for documentation for something that happened last year. There are many other options at SFO, so I will avoid Westin and suggest that if you're a traveler, you do the same. Aloft or Four Points are more reasonable options for Starwood members near SFO.

$23/day for self parking. No sleep: Sex noises, toilet flushes, hallway conversations, doors slamming, and jets taking off. No free Wi-Fi. Looked out on an industrial landscape where laser-like blue light beamed in at night. Polite staff and well-appointed room, but you could not pay me to "sleep" here again.

The hostess really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel shuttle was prompt both to and from the airport. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was outstanding. Highly recommended.

My room was prepaid so I can't say much about expenses, but the customer service is golden. Unfortunately due to poor scheduling of my itinerary I was not able to actually pick up my luggage if I hoped to make the flight in time. The Director of Guest Services, Michael Smith, went above and beyond and had my bag picked out and shipped back overnight within 2 days of arrival to my home airport. Luggage arrived in-tact and couldn't be happier with my visit. Thanks again!

Don't stay here if you plan to try to get any sleep. Paper thin walls with virtually no sound proofing means that if any one of the neighbors above, below, or beside you decides to have even a mildly chatty conversation, you'll hear it — not to mention all of the showers and toilet flushes around you. They should at least throw Wi-Fi in for free so I can keep myself entertained before I leave on my 6am flight, cause there's no way this place is actually meant for sleep.

The room is nice and large, but I was not able to get a king bed when requested, and got nickel dimed to death. $23/nite for self parking. Internet is included, but can only have one person at a time logged in or they want another $14 for slow speed or $18 for high speed that will allow 3 people to log on. Coffee is free until 10am only, then it is $2/cup after that. So my $120 room on Priceline quickly became almost $200/night with the taxes, service charges, parking, internet yada yada yada. Now, having said those things. I left a bag behind in the lobby. They were able to locate it and arrange to mail it too me. I haven't seen how much yet, but I appreciate that kind of service level. Housekeeping came knocking on the door rather early, but the ladies were delightful and pleasant. We ate in the restaurant, the food was above average and the price appropriate, however the bar is contained in the space as the restaurant, so the noise level (at 9pm) was extremely loud. But that is just the luck of the draw sometimes. In summary. A good place to stay, with a great location, next to the airport (if you need absolute quiet the jet noise will keep you awake). It is clean, the people friendly and professional, just bring your wallet and even more prepare for the inconvenience of having to stop and pay for all these things as you go.

Surprised by all the negative reviews. Had a great experience overall, all of the staff was extremely professional and welcoming. Was never bothered by the cleaning staff, they did not come once until I had left the hotel, when I came back that afternoon the room was clean. Nice view from either side of the hotel, TV worked fine, free internet though I pre-paid for my room so I think the free internet came with the pre-pay option. Ordered room service for all meals because I was traveling alone, was always delivered quickly and the food was really good and very healthy options if you don't want to blow your diet while traveling. I was very impressed overall. The only problem was I noticed they charged my credit card an incorrect amount for the room service, but when I called this morning to correct it the charge was removed from my card so it looks like they are already solving the problem. I would stay here again if I'm required to return to the Bay Area for work.

Expensive for a poor Starwood experience. Place needs a complete overhaul. **TV cut out intermittently (so I missed ~10 minutes of the big Golden State game 1 of the NBA finals waiting for it to reconnect). When it did work, it was laggy/slow and it wasn't a programming guide (just a channel list) **Loud slamming (doors? ) directly below my room 306 — — strong enough room would shake. **Airplane noise: place might have been soundproof at some point, but not anymore. There was a takeoff right overhead about every 90 seconds until about 11pm **Broken computer at check-in. Agent apologized and asked me to move to another station, where she completed transaction **Thin worn towels **Could hear loud noises from the bathroom pipes — — even with my bathroom door closed, I was still disturbed by pipe noise from other guests' usage.

Great beds. You can hear planes taking off but it's not terrible. Nice Bayshore running trail steps from the door. Free shuttle from the airport was quick and easy.

It is very disturbing, rude and inconsiderate that house keeping opened our room door directly while we were still sleeping at 8:30 am.

After calling three times with no answer, the phone was finally answered by a very very rude woman. I asked for the front desk, she told me there was no incoming calls allowed to the front desk. SERIOUSLY? I requested a supervisor and was left on hold for over 10 minutes. The most disgusting customer service, I think I have ever encountered! STARWOOD you need to intervene.

Good room but,. You have to pay for internet? $12 per day. Really? Room service has a $3.50 delivery charge, 20% service fee and 16.5% gratuity added on top of over-priced food. Really? I guess I'm just out of my league. Won't be back.

Is $199 a night a great internet deal for a 3-star hotel with bad ratings, expensive amenities and hidden fees? Hell no it isn't. Move along, nothing to see here. Most Millbrae hotels are around the $60 per night range, and this one, even though it may be more expensive, is no better than the rest :P.

Hotel located next to the San Francisco Airport for early departures is very good choice, also has free shuttle from which saves you go looking for transport to arrive. Room is large and is very clean although I think that the closet, bathroom and main entrance doors would have to change because they are quite old and are a little wrong, seems that you enter a cavern. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi you have to pay it and I believe that in the 21st century that still have to pay for this service is inadmitible.
