Really nice room. Wish I had brought my bathing suit!

Pretty nice free shuttle to and from batt or the airport.

I would have given a 5 star rating but notice I was charged for my room twice. I called the hotel and there was no apology or sincere statement about the over charge. It was as if I over charged them. The place was clean my son enjoyed the pool. But I was told one price charged another and the charged twice with again no rush to give me my money back and no apology. Best western needs to get it together.

Convenient location to the OAKLAND Airport and also the sports venues — Oracle Arena and the O. Co Coliseum. The hotel is a nice renovated property. It's not located on the best street, but the convenient location and friendly, courteous hotel staff make up for it.

Decent hotel with decent rooms. Staff is really great. The neighborhood is fine once you go out a couple blocks. There is a starbucks and a bay walking path nearby.

Excellent hotel to stay in. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, parking is available immediately next to the hotel entrance and free of charge. I searched for hotels downtown SF but some of them charges up to 70 $ for parking per day! Complimentary coffee and orange water served at the entrance 24 hours. The hotel is far from the city which causes you to relax and feel comfortable from the city noise, crowd, homeless, and parking difficulties. However, if you have car this shall not be big problem. If you look for quiet place to stay in, then this is right place. Otherwise, search for hotels downtown.

Clean room. Helpful staff. Prices weren't bad. Good full breakfast. Nice warm pool and hot tub.

The area this hotel is in is VERY shady and we were uncomfortable as we pulled up. The hotel staff was friendly enough and it was a very clean space. We ventured into the city and when we got back to the hotel around 11 there seemed to be no one working the front desk. We were woken at 4am by an awful domestic dispute and a screaming child. No one working at the hotel seemed to address this dangerous situation and we left the hotel at 5am to feel safer. The cleanliness does not make up for how uncomfortable the atmosphere was.

Good spot. Courteous and professional staff with well-appointed rooms. Plenty of close-in spots like In N Out, etc but if you can or are otherwise capable Alameda island offers a bunch of very cool destination-restaurants off of Main or Webster.

This is a nice hotel hidden in an industrial area. My room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was great, especially Barbara — she went above and beyond expectations. I noticed she seemed to motivate her guests and fellow employees with her bright smile and helpful attitude.

Very clean. Great spa and gym. Love the blankets! Only issue is the walls are paper this and I got woke up at 4 am by my neighbors having loud sex :). Other than that, excellent value for the price.

Well located Hotel to start the route to Yosemite. Breakfast is acceptable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Reception was quick and well done. The room (Suite with King Size Bed) is beautifully large and clean. Breakfast is typical of USA and very good. We had to do laundry and there was a problem with the washing machine, but this was fixed immediately. The environment pirate offset takes some getting used to, but okay. Otherwise everything wonderful.

The room was well decorated and linens soft. Also liked the mattress. The shuttle was awesome both from the airport and to and from the Bart. Great staff and I enjoyed the breakfast yogurt noosen. Would definitely come back here. Great price for the cost.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle bus to and from bus station, airport and oracle arena. Though you will need to make arrangements with hotel and it isn't a guaranteed transport. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave, coffee, iron available in room. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym available. Everytjing is great about this hotel except for the location. It seems to be surrounded by a neighbourhood you wouldn't walk around after dark or without company. It's a bit intimidating with people staring at you as you drive through.

Good location. Great because of shuttle to and from airport and BART stop. Excellent option if you need to get into the City (SF). Nearby BART stop and shuttle make city ac accessible.

Located in the commercial area, offers a shuttle to the Bart — station. Good hotel, breakfast room a bit too small but still recommended.

Stayed here one night to catch an early flight. Impressively clean. Friendly desk clerk (he was either the manager or franchise owner). Would suggest for anyone wanting to catch an early flight out of Oakland.

I was in town for a sporting event that my company was producing at Oracle. The front desk staff and housekeeping are amazing. Not your typical airport hotel. Quiet and well maintained facility.

Nice place. Location kind of tucked in the cut but good place over all. Love the I door pool n spa.

We had full service from the beginning. We checked in around 6pm and the front desk was able to get us to our room quickly. The room was clean and well set up. We went to the pool, which was clean as well. We were impressed with breakfast in the morning and the hotel staff that helped us check out. We will stay again for sure!

Even though this Best Western hotel is set back in a warehouse commercial area don't let that fool you. The property is well maintained. The parking lot at night is extremely well lit and they also have security cameras so I felt comfortable that my car would be safe. All the rooms are very comfortable and clean. All the staff members I encountered were always very courteous and very helpful from afternoon to even early in the morning. Breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast and adequate. Even in the evening time they had fresh coffee and decaffeinated coffee with flavored creamers. I would highly recommend staying here. Their price was very reasonable.

Fantastic for the price! We stayed here for a Warriors game and we got free shuttle ride to & from game. Free breakfast was tasty with lots of variety of food. Parking was safe. Room cozy & clean, and we got a veterans discount. Will stay again if come for another event.

Fantastic! Everyone was so helpful, and the room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft. The shower head had various spray patterns. There were plenty of plug one that were easily accessible and breakfast was tasty and nicely appealing. Great stay!

It was my mother's 81st birthday and I wanted to treat her to a trip to the bay area. Our stay at this Bestwestern was so accommodating, The service was great and the rooms were modern and very clean. The breakfast was very good, better than most. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Nice hotel. Had all the usual amenities that most Best Westerns offer. I dinged one star for the fact they actually charge your credit card $100 for deposit. Now I have to make sure the $100 refund is added to my credit card account. Wish it was like other Best Western's, where they scan your credit card for incidentals/etc. Where at worst a $1 pending would pop up on my credit card account, then drop. For the fact I have to do work to make sure I get the refund… They get 4 stars. Everything else was good though and kind employees there.

Best place for sports fans. Wife and I stayed to watch Oakland A's games. It was awesome that the shuttle service took us and picked us up for free. The hotel is so close to arena and a lot of food options to eat close by. The room was much bigger than expected with refrigerator for our food leftovers. The place is is very safe and parking is free. Highly recommend using the shuttle and leaving car parked at hotel. An extra bonus was watching Oakland A's sweep the first place Astros! Outscored them 41-15 during 4game series! Can't wait to come back for a Raider game!

We love staying here! Granted, Oakland isn't the best area but it's in an industrial park off the freeway and completed gated, making us feel secure. Plus it's within walking distance of a Black Bear Diner and Starbucks! The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They even allowed us to hang out in the lobby to play dice after we checked out to wait for our baseball game to start. Plus there are a few stray cats that hang out on the property which we love petting.

The entire staff at the Best Western in Oakland, including the shuttle drivers, were totally awesome people. The were friendly and made is feel like we were at home with friends during our stay. They all went above and beyond and my husband and I greatly appreciated them. The hotel was very nice, as well. Thank you, Oakland.

This place is located in a residential that is not well cared for. Parking The marks are very close, it is difficult to park, and it does not look very good to park in the street. Very good service of the employees, and the breakfast is very good.

Was a good place to stay, the rooms were nice. The location is close to the freeway, just don't go for a walk at night!

Part of our party arrived early. There was a credit card on file. The person paying called to make sure that we could check in because we would be here first. They wouldn't let us check in, I had to keep explaining the situation because she wasn't listening to a word I said. The staff was so rude and disrespectful. After getting up at 330 am and flying all day all all I wanted to do is go to my room and relax and the ladies at the front seat were so unhelpful and rude. As soon as I walked away and sat down they started talk in Spanish about me. If it were up to me I wouldn't stay here. I get rules are rules but there is no need to get snappy and ride with guest!

Good hotel at a reasonable price. The room was clean and seems to have been updated recently. The walls are a little thin though. The location is great if you're catching a game in Oakland. It will be hard to find a better deal in the area.

This was our second stay here, and as with most Best Westerns, you get more than you pay for. Excellent, helpful and friendly staff that prepared a “grab and go” bag for us to take on the plane since we left just before the breakfast buffet opened. They have a shuttle that runs between the hotel, the airport and the BART station near the baseball stadium and Oracle arena. This was just the best for us since we’d flown to Oakland for a Bruce Springsteen concert at the Oracle and then flew home. Large, clean room with a large bathroom and excellent shower. Most general amenities, and the usual generous BW breakfast spread. In room safe and great free Wi-Fi. Situated in an industrial area, so you don’t stay here for the environment. It’s strictly for the convenience and value. Wouldn’t even consider another place if we come back to Oakland.

The situation is problematic for German expectations, but on the other hand there is shuttle service a 24 h. Thus one must deal with the situation. Otherwise the hotel for this price, near San Francisco, is more than good. Very nice staff, more breakfast than usual, shuttle service access to airport and BART station and thus and San Francisco.

After a horrible rental car experience that took over 2 hours, we didn't get to the hotel until 2:45am. Laleeka was working and she knew we'd be getting in far later than planned. She met us at the side door so we didn't have to walk all the way around the hotel and had our keys and paperwork all ready so we could just go straight to our room and sleep! The room was clean with comfy beds and every staff member we saw was super polite and welcoming. What a great experience!

Hotel was good, nice room, good breakfast however the location is in a poor area especially when we arrived at the station to catch the shuttle back we were advised to ring earlier to ring to make sure it would be there but could not make contact with the hotel on the phone ringing for 25 minutes. Had to catch a taxi. Feeling nervous we stood out as obvious tourists in a unsavoury area.

Good hotel for the times we stay to visit San Francisco. Bring and pickup Service to Bart Station. You can visit San Francisco without your own car. In the room it was noisy. You hear the other guest walking in the above room and using the bath.

Room was okay, but breakfast was overcrowded.

This was a nice hotel. Little full and loud at times. Biggest complaint is the location It was in a part of town that I was a little nervous being out of the hotel. The breakfast wasn't bad. In fact they had strawberry waffles.

Kind of a commercial neighborhood, but very nice place. Highly recommend, used it to go to Warriors game, 5 minutes and you're at parking lot to stadium.
