This was the worst experience at any hotel I have ever had. I relocated to Glendale for a job and needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks while I waited for my apartment to be ready to move in to. I found this Extended Stay and though, more expensive, I figured it was worth spending a little extra money to stay in a better place. I was wrong. When I checked in, I was asked what day I wanted to schedule my house keeping day because they only do it once a week here. I told them Saturdays will work best since I have a dog and need to take him out for the day while they clean. So Saturday it was. When Saturday came along I left the room for the entire day with my dog, but upon returning back to the hotel, no house keeping had been done. I called the front desk and asked why and they said they got too busy with checking in new guests and couldn't get to it. I then asked if I could get it done the following day and they said yes. Same thing, I took my dog out for the day and when I returned the room had not been serviced. I had made a reservation and decided to extend the stay a little longer because my apartment was taking longer than expected, so when I went down to ask to extend they said they can't and I need to make a new reservation. I asked if I could keep my same room and they said yes. I then made the appointment and when I went down to check out and check back in the lady asked what day I wanted my room cleaned. I replied that I'd like Saturday and asked if it would actually get serviced and explained what had happened. She apologized and asked if I'd like it done on both Saturday and Sunday the following week and I said no, just Saturday, no need. When Saturday came, I took my dog out, but decided to call and make sure what time I could return to a clean room. The lady on the phone told me that they had gotten too backed up and couldn't do it that day. I said that it was really frustrating because of all the other broken promises and she just said sorry, she can't do anything. I asked if they could do it on Sunday then and she said no because my extended reservation was not a week long and they only service rooms that had reservations over a week. However, they had specifically told me they were going to do it when I checked out and back in. That night, at 3am the fire alarm went off in the building and they had to evacuate the whole thing, completely disrupting my sleep. I get this part is not their fault, but just added a whole new layer to the already bad experience. I called that morning to customer care to explain what had happened and they said they contacted a district manager and that it could take up to 72 hours to resolve, but they will come to a resolution and let me know. It's been two weeks and nothing. Awful service. I don't wish this on anyone. The job that I have requires me to stay in hotels 15 days a month, but I would never spend my nights with this company. I was excited to try it out and it was appealing that I could have a kitchen on business trips, but no thanks.
