Sadly in moments you go from a Beautiful view of the ocean, to Canvas and there was plenty of room behind my not even an umbrella site… And each side of us.

There are very few times when we find a timeshare that exceeds our expectation. And the Southern California Beach Club at Oceansidre is one of them. Starting off with Cathy at the front desk who has been so cordial and warm, to the cleaning staff who have proven to be trustworthy and reliable when I unintentionally left my 3 sentimentally valuable rings during the clean up day. I was peacefully assured by the front desk that I didn't lose them. The place is very clean and beautiful with all its outstanding amenities and gemerous provisions. My family decided to keep coming back every year from now on. It's actually my sister's timeshare which we just switched with ours thiis time around. We hope she will always share it with us yearly. Thank you all for making our one week stay with my kids and grandkids enjoyable and cozy. We certainly felt so at home. More power to you, guys and may your tribe increase! God bless…

Great value for the money. I couldn't beat it. Yes, parking is good, but if you have slightly bigger SUV this WILL GIVE it a challenge. Renovation would duo Murray bless to this place. Again, location and staff as well as bang-for-your-back, this place shines.

Stayed here with a friend of mine down from Sonoma. What a wonderful time we had. The staff turned us on to a couple of cool local places that even I, a resident of Oceanside for over a year, hadn't known about. The room was clean and comfortable. I can hardly wait for my next visit.

This place is right on the beach very nice place to stay the rooms are very clean the staff is very friendly and they do also have a very nice size 2 bedroom. You have great views of the ocean from every spot and they also have balconies and BBQs lots of things to do they also have chocolate chip cookies and stuff on Sunday for when you check in. The one negative thing I guess I can say is I don't believe this classifies as a resort and there should not be any Resort fees.

Had an absolutely fantastic visit. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Looking forward to my visit next year.

Its beautiful and mini market is close along with other shops. Walking distance to beach. Trains pass by every so often. Always warm.

Nice place. Not crazy fancy but it has great amenities and you can't beat the location.

No air conditioning… "ocean view" is not necessarily a beach view. Staff is very pleasant. Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. Parking garage is really hard to get into, and there is another option to park on the street, but it's difficult to find a spot at the times.

There were beautiful, pools, desings and blankets they were so soft and I didn't see one bug anywhere and nothing was wrong with it I loved it it was like paradise.

Customer service was good. The rooms were less than I expected. Not upgraded as I thought they would be for their pricing.

We come here every year with some good friends. The room is nice, and we love that the balcony looks over the ocean (not all rooms do). We love having a kitchen in the unit as well.

Rooms are great. Right near the beach. I expected king got a queen. No shampoo and parking spots are small. Other than that it is great with an amazing location.

We were very pleased with our experience at Best Western in Oceanside. Not only were the location and amenities top notch but the staff was courteous and super helpful. The staff member that helped us the most was Sandra. She was very knowledgeable about the hotel and the local attractions. We especially enjoyed the continental breakfast.

Great stay. We changed our original room to one with a full beach view. Very new amenities and a super comfortable bed. I will be coming back.

Part of RCI — The staff and amenities were nice. The hot tub was broken. They had bikes and beach stuff available as part of the $17 day fee. Disappointingly, we make reservations a year out and request ocean front or view. We did not get that. Wall are thin. We could hear them evry time walked across the floor. Oceanside beach had incredible waves. Surfers are out always out catching waves. It is a very nice and clean community. They have a major transportation center in the center of town. Very nice public facilities can be found along the beach. Sadly they do have a lot of homeless, which made me uncomfortable. No one bothered me. It was me feeling bad for their situation. All and all… I would come back. Gotta love the surf and sun! #

Was highly impressed with the staff and friendliness. The facilities are well kept and the sunset in the jacuzzi was a highlight. Never stayed on the Strand before, preferring to be near the harbor, but this place was worth the experience. Talked with some of the owners of the timeshares that they offer and I think they are generally pleased with the place. Only frustrations I had were due to my own physical limitations with stairs but the shower was equipped with a bath bar so I did not worry about falling when I took a shower. Having a functioning kitchen is also a plus since I was able to have Von's delivery to bring stuff to me so I could be just plain lazy. Really would like to go back sometime again although I could have booked the same room the night before arriving for about $75 less. I should know how it works. LOL Definitely like the efficiency rooms on ground level with their own patio, tho most if not all rooms seem to have a patio of some nature. I know some complained about Wi-Fi but I found as long as I logged into their site, had to a couple of times, there was no problem. This place is all about relaxation and enjoying the location which is excellent.

Horrible experience. No air conditioning, no pool, no phone reception, and no view of beach. If your not staying ocean front, dont stay here. The ocean front rooms are the only ones worth suffering through the inconviences of this resort.

You could not ask for a better location or friendly staff in the Oceanside area. The rooms and elevator have just been remodeled. This is an older building with not a lot of the extras you would see at a resort, but I would rather be in a prime location with an extremely kept up property, very clean room, and extremely friendly staff.

Exceptional customer service above and beyond the call of duty. The Location is amazing. Highly recommended.

Room 306 is the top floor (no noise from upstairs) and overlooks the ocean! LOVED IT! Crashing waves non-stop through the night, perfect sunset view of the pier with dinner on the patio table, gas BBQs to grill steaks, the in-room accommodations are clean and beautiful. Loved the velour sofa that pulls out into a decent queen size bed! Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen with dishes and pans. My only complaint would be the bathroom — I would like to see a whirlpool option or something larger. Also, the parking garage is TIGHT — we're talking about unloading passengers before pulling in AND you have 1 inch clearance on all sides, it's a bit scary to pull in/out of spots.

Fot room through RCI. Room (101) is gorgeous and comfortable, right on the beach. Service is good to average. The Wi-Fi is completely terrible and no cell phone/3g coverage in the room. The town itself is nice and not to far from San Diego and other sightly beachside hamlets. Would definitely come back.
