Had some good ac and an okay pool and spa to hang out after a hot drive to Sacramento. The rooms were nice and clean we did have what smelled like cig smoke in one of our rooms but they happily moved us till we were satisfied. Good for an over night stay.

DEFINITELY Good accommodations. Comfy Beds and Extra Good Cleaning of Rooms. The Continental breakfast is Tasty. Pet friendly.

I recently stayed here in May, the workers where really good and helpful, clean rooms, great location, quite! Can't ask. For more I was comfortable and. Definitely will return!

Noisy maid carts, no fridge or microwave, small shower. The tub seems to be placed over an older tub with shallow water in it. Each step feels like a weird waterbed, I think there's standing water under there. Bed was big and awesome. Nice TV, decent channels. Close to a lot of stuff in town. Rooms have no soundproofing insulation. TV in the other room was obvious and clear. Not worth 100$ a night. Mold in the shower. No outlet by the bed, they were all taken by the lamps and alarm clock.

Nice motel, just off the highway coming from Reno and entering Sacramento North… very spacious and comfortable rooms, with functional bathroom, privacy guaranteed (the washbasin is together with bath/shower and WC, and not in the bedroom, as in many motels USA. ). The prices then are super cheap considering also that we are in California, very friendly staff.

Bugs! bugs! bugs! don't stay here! paid cash in advance and I still have not got my money returned to me, booked a 2 week stay and left on day 2. Management is horrible. They do not care about customer service or doing the right thing. Save you money and just go somewhere else! you have been warned. I would not even give this place one star. hallways smell like urine. Place is kinda hard to find if ur not familiarize with the area. U could hear plenty of noise from the street. Homeless hang out through hallways and on the floor around the building.

My stay was three days the employees are friendly and the place is clean also has pool my room was clean and spacious comtaba with microwave and refrigerator also offer continental breakfast from 6:00 Am. Near there is in & out burgers and many shops to buy.

I Stayed here for a whole week. The neighborhood is not the best make sure you don't go into North Highland! there's an in and out right in front of the hotel so if you're ever hungry you can set right outside of your hotel room and just walk across and there's an In-N-Out Burger there. If you drive further down there are some more eating places. If you have little ones make sure you keep an eye on them the neighborhood is not the best. But overall the room is very comfortable and nice they serve breakfast in the morning. If you're vegan you might not be able to eat any of the things other than the fruit and maybe the oatmeal everything else has milk cheese eggs.

Pretty good hotel. I paid 94$ for the night. The room is nice and close to In n Out and Chick Fil A. As in right next door. The pool is a standard outdoor one. The front desk people were super nice and helpful. Plus a free buffet style breakfast. All in all, I would say it's a nice place to stay.

I love the Quinta Inn Hotels, but this one is set back so it is hard to find. But it has a really nice breakfast bar. However because of the teenage population at the In-N-Out Burger directly next door it can be kind of noisy this is specifically true for the one on Madison Avenue. All the other La Quinta Inns I've been to have been outstanding which is why I gave him a five star. Most definitely sign up for the rewards program for a free night.

As always this location has been very accommodating. They are located right next to an in n out Burger (which can be bad if watching your diet). Easy off and on freeway access. Pleasant staff with great housekeeping.

The La Quinta Inn Sacramento is a decent motel. My wife and I stayed there for days during the Holidays and we enjoyed our stay. They have good rooms, although I'd say they are basic. No frills, but sufficient for a short stay. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning in the lobby and they are close to the I-80 North of Sacramento.

Nice rooms, comfy beds. Freezing pool. Only 1 working ice machine. Pretty good continital breakfast. 2 nice customer service reps, 1 rude.

So far it's all good! Traveling for a conference and just checked in tonight, but I'll rate again when I leave. Staff was great and the room (overlooking the pool) is nice. Better than most I've stayed at on the road!

Although the man who checked me in was absolutely wonderful and helpful the rooms were awful. I had to change rooms because the walls were paper thin and it was impossible to get any sleep. The second room smelled like cigarettes and had roaches! The hot tub was cold. I would not recommend. Not at all what you'd expect from a La Quinta. I only gave stars because the man who checked me in was so nice.

Not impressed at all! I get there and get checked in and go check out my room and it smells like cigarette smoke bad, I go down to the lobby to get a luggage cart and there isn't one so I ask the front desk he tells me people don't bring them back so they are somewhere around the hotel you'll have to go find it. I told him about the room smelling like cigarettes and he said well there isn't anything in the notes about the room from housekeeping all they would do is spray something to cover the smell. Well whatever I blow it off. Shower liner was dirty, towel didn't smell like it had been cleaned, doors squeak when you open them and you can hear your neighbor going in and out of their rooms all night. AC unit smelled like mildew when it was on. Shady looking people around the property day and night. A few of the ice machines I saw didn't work. Checked out the next day and was walking down to my car and all I could smell walking past a few rooms was marijuana. Will not be staying at this LaQuinta Inn again unless things change drastically.

Room was fine. It was clean and looked recently redone. The location kinda sucked since it was right next to an In-n-Out but other than that it was good.

As a member of the military my time on leave is super important to me. I don't get a lot of chances to come home and see all the people I care about. Almost every night I stayed in this hotel one of the managers tried to switch me to a different room despite my reservation. Every morning I'd wake up and she'd tell me, "I had to move you to a double room so if you want to stay you have to pay the difference. " Sometimes, if there was anybody else there this would get worked out. But frequently she'd just charge me the higher rate, so almost every day is spend the first part of the day packing up my stuff and moving to a different room… and not spending time with my family. Never going to forget it, never starting there again.

The worst experience I have ever had in my life.

I was visiting a friend who was staying here. He had also stayed here in the past. Everything was fine. Good location close to a variety of fast food restaurants and a Target store. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. I would recommend.

The rooms are spacious ylimpios.

I was visiting some friends who would ospedaron in this hotel. The room was desente, but had a holor strange.

I stayed here before and was not happy. The only reason I chose here again was because it was slightly better than the Motel 6. I was completely floored thus time. They have totally renovated the entire hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and roomy. The service was fantastic. I explained to La Tasha about my previous experience here and she went above and beyond. She offered a free upgrade to a suite and it was amazing. The breakfast is so much better than before and the lobby has tables you can sit at to eat. They have really made the whole hotel look very nice. The beds are very comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be back. La Tasha, I want to say thank you to you especially. You were amazing. Thank you for making this the best stay ever!

Everything was perfect, just the breakfast I saw very poor maybe will be pushed sausages, bacon and eggs were scrambled would be better.

I usually really like LA Quinta however the place was old, but mostly filthy with pigeon poop every where. My room was so dirty, it still had a little boys dirty shoe and underwares. The shower could not be used because of the strong mildew smell. I was very disgusted. Also we ordered a suite 2 months in advance which were not available. I was told by several people this was a bad area. My husband and I were told by the security guard we had a 10:00p. M. Curfew and to stay in our room (really happened) I was shocked. So filthy, bad area, and a flipped curfew, I am 53 years old. I couldn't believe what a horrible experience this was grade F — F — F — please be advised don't stay at LA Quinta Sacramento north. You will regret it.

I am an Elite member with La Quinta. Love most of their hotels, but this was the worst location I have visited. All rooms smelled like crap. Staff behind the counter were nice to try to accommodate though.

The electrical outlets are messed up and most of them unusable. The recent remodel is strictly cosmetic but not really. Cigarette burns in the bathtub and terrible breakfast!

We stayed here because we needed a pet friendly hotel to stay in to visit my husband's grandparents. This place is very old, very dated and not very clean. When you have to play the, "Is that blood on the carpet? " game, you don't even want to think about sleeping in the sheets. The walls had holes in it that looked like buckshots. There were many unsavory people hanging around in the parking lot and around the hotel. When we left the next morning there was a towel near the parking lot where we questioned if it was blood or feces on it — either way it's a no-win situation. Just stay somewhere else… for your own safety.

If you asked me about a previous visit I couldve said it was nice. But on the last visit we had giant cock roaches in the bathroom, we left as soon as we saw them. I don't believe that it is unreasonable to expect a room free of this disgusting insect.

Disgusting rooms look like they haven't been redone or touched since the 80s. Paper thin walls heard people partying and fighting all night and morning long. We even found some nasty condoms in the draw so that just confirms that they don't even really clean here. I hate it here.

Thay have Huge rooms, feels like your staying in a studio apartment… the location is brilliant, right off of the Freeway exit. I think you can even see it, from the freeway…! B-)

Could be good. Unsavory characters. The hotel itself is fine. They allow pets which is wonderful. But there were so many cars coming and going (unsavory looking) and after midnight a couple of brut guys pounded on the door next to me. They were yelling for some guy. I think there is a lot of drug dealing around here. The lobby does smell like pot. I needed a good night's rest but didn't get it. Oh, and I specifically asked about non smoking but they put me next to a smoker and I could smell it every hour. Even at 5am! It has the potential to be great but their management of guests gets a 1 star.

Nice clean and comfy. Great if you have pets too. Always great staff and clean quiet pool area. Breakfast selection is ok.

My in laws stayed here last week, and my parents this week. The rooms at nice and large, but the servicing of the rooms is inconsistent. The breakfast is also heavy on carbs and sweets. With little to no protein options.

Lots of people admit they bring their dogs here. Good reason not to stay here. Maybe the reviews that state bugs and stains are present can be explained by animals sleeping on beds.

Clean and nice staff. Water in shower was like almost right on full hor water. Other than that. Nice reasonable prices. I'm currently staying here for 2 more days and have been here for 6.

Room was clean but for the price and no mini fridge in the room… It's 2015. That was some that I should of been warned about or told before selecting the room at the front desk. The man at the Lobby was nice and explained funding is the main issue. Maybe the corporate office or whoever can read these and fix the issues.

Wow what a pitiful "breakfast" no hot food at all… Just coffee cereal and muffins. Don't expect to be content if you eat breakfast here unless you're 10 years old.

Hotels are lovely and the pools are awesome, but a fridge and a microwave would make it ultimate. Also, I thinks it's cool that it's next to In-N-Out and Scandia.

This hotel was very clean, staff was pleasant and my experience here was excellent. The rooms are cozy, the beds are very comfortable and the security officer was very pleasant and present throughout my stay-which made me feel very safe. If I could give more stars, I would.

Witnessed a housekeeper go into a room for about 5 min and move on to the next room. My dog smelled something on the bed spread and then proceeded to mark it, which he would not usually do. Also supposed to supply a packaged filter holder for the coffee maker. Old one was still in the holder. They take shortcuts and don't clean. Door and window have big gaps, you know what kind of spiders and other stuff they have around here. If they want to see what it takes to get 5-stars from a review, they need to visit Greenville's LA Quinta.

Great Place Rooms Clean, Courteous Staff, and Fair Prices.

"Do not stay here". The carpet was full of stains, it was obvious that it was NOT vacuumed, good at all. The BED SHEETS had several stains as well, felt like I was sleeping in dirty sheets. The WORST was that as I was watching t. V. A bug was crawling on my pillow. Looked like some type of bed bug or tick. They switched my room out with no problems and gave me % 25 off my price. But I can't sleep. I'm here now and I think of the other room. Bugs. No thanks.

Horrible. Rooms are dirty, beds are uncomfortable staff was rude. Will not stay here again.

I brought my large dog along, and it was no hassle at all. Very clean room and friendly front desk staff. I would stay here again. Boston Market is walking distance away, too:).

Where to start. 1. The breakfast was awful. You had choice of banana, apple, yogurt (one flavor), cereal (one kind), waffles (cardboard), bagel (one kind) oatmeal (no flavor) and bread. What a great way to fill up on nothing but cards and they call this a continental breakfast. (oh and by the way the homeless come in their and get food too. ) 2. Loud outside the room you can also hear the running water from rooms on the side of you. 3. Let's just say found a bug in my bathroom that shouldn't be their and it was a normal small bug you would just kill and go on with your day. 4. Customer service was crap when I went to the front desk with the bug I was given a card and told to call general manger cause they couldn't do anything for me but give me another room. After calling the general manger he tells me he will call them and that they can help me with anything I need. So pretty much got the run around. 5. My charges for the room where 211.00 they put over 400 on hold in my account and clams it wasn't them but my bank, however my bank says its the hotel. So pretty much on my trip I was left to feed my family of 5 for 3 days on 80.00 due to my funds being. 6. Tub was gross didn't even want to stand in it to shower. Needed a good bleach scrub. Only positive thing I can say is the beds where nice, but then again that's coming from my bed that is over 10 years old. Lol I could have gotten better at hotel 8 where I did have a few friends at and they said it was okay.

I checked out of my room early yesterday morning, because I was disgusted. I stayed there twice wrost experience of my life. The bathroom were awful. The pool and the hot tube were green and un kept the pool has ice cold water in it. They have barking dogs. Shady people. The breakfast was nothing worth getting up to eat. People at the front desk are rude and very unfriendly. The beds in the rooms are small and uncomfortable. I will never be back and I will tell all my friends and family never vist this place.
