The WORST customer service ever! I had booked a king bedroom for myself and my fiancé. Babysitter got covid so they couldn’t watch my two toddlers. When I got to check in (at midnight), the rude inconsiderate female at the desk made sure that I knew I couldn’t have my children because it was a king bedroom. I ALWAYS book a king bed because we always sleep together. I’ve booked it at multiple holiday Inn properties, as well as many other hotel companies. She tried to explain that it’s for the safety of my family. Why don’t you think about the safety of having them stuck in a car? No restrooms for them to use? The cold they’re going to be in? The discomfort of my children? The thought of explaining that we had to sleep in our vehicle because of “fire marshall” limits? Completely inconsiderate. She didn’t even offer to look at another property nearby. She had NO compassion & when I asked what I can do… her response was “look somewhere else”. Zero respect. Harmen. Carmen? This room was paid for and instead of figuring something out… there sat an empty room… paid for… non refundable, nice and warm… and they made us sleep in the car. Awesome.

Great place to stay in Roseville California.

Second time I stayed here. Good location, friendly staff, updated rooms comfortable and clean.

Wonderful! Quiet and reasonable. Stayed here for concert at Thunder Valley casino. Was able to get Ubers quickly and around $25 round trip. Love the breakfasts they offer at Holiday Inn as I love to eat breakfast so getting it there for free saves another $25-30 eating it out. Great perks for being a club member got a free upgrade to King suite!

Everything looks nice. Then you touch it and realize it's not. Bathroom door handle wiggled and shower constantly dripped. It is a good place to stay.

Nice hotel and staff, very deep tub And clean room… But I barely slept. I could hear the water running from. The next room over, although the ac was off the fan kept coming on over and over and was so loud it woke me up each time.

Very disappointed with the hours. The breakfast starts at 6:30 which is pretty late for a hotel breakfast. The pool closes at 9 which is ridiculous. I've never been in a hotel that closes their pool so early. My suggestion is fine another hotel to stay at.

Clean spacious rooms, with great beds. Basic but good breakfast.

Booked through ihg they sold the room out from me. Because the card they tried to charge the night before didn't go through.

Wife was in town visiting her Grandmother who was dying. Our 5 year old was up as he had been cooped up the next day. My Wife was kicked out the next day. Will not be staying here ever again.

Nice clean hotel. Personnel is polite. Check-in process was fast. Rooms are spacious, clean and overall quiet. There is a gym, swimming pool that is only open certain month in the year. Plenty of parking. Located in a commercial area so you have. Abunch of restaurant coscto, etc. In the area close by. Breakfast is standard but I think start a little late, 6:30 am to 9:30am as of 04-2018. Wish it started a little earlier.

My husband and I were on vacation from Florida and decided to book this hotel. It was a very nice and pleasant stay. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Breakfast selection was good, beds were comfy, and customer service was very helpful, nice, and friendly. I would have given it five stars but on the last night we were there the people above us were very noisy stomping on the floors all night. We had an early flight to catch and had a very hard time sleeping through all that noise. We called the front desk and they said they would take care of it but the noises continued throughout the whole night. Other than that it was a very good experience. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting California if you're near the rocklin area.

Very clean, warm room. Nice space, shower, and bathroom. We will definately return! And the breakfast was healthy and tasty! Good coffee both at breakfast and a Kurig in the room! Just bring bottled water.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The front desk man Harry was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was above my standards and the overall look of the hotel is better than any other holiday inn I’ve stayed at. Would definitely come again.

Definitely not up to the usual holiday inn Express standard. Seemed cramped and old and there was no hot water anywhere in the hotel due to a failure in both boilers.

Clean, Comfortable, convenient location, pleasant helpful staff.

The staff makes the place. Avoid the first floor, they have lights aimed at the building but they don't have great blinds to keep it dark. The upper floors are better.

The room we stayed in was quite nice, and spacious for the price we paid. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good as well, nothing really awesome but I'm not too picky.

The pool and hot tub were great. The staff was kind and the room was very nice and clean.

Poor Customer Experience, wanted $500 deposit plus my $300 cash for 4 nights stay on a Corporate account, Changed Corporate account pricing structure as agreed by Holiday Inn Express. Then when I was going to Another HIE, they were going to charge me for the one night stay on my Credit Card. This is not business like, as I stay in HEI hotels all over the country and never had this happen. This Hotel is independently owned and may not want the Corp Business people staying at there hotel. Not all HEI are like this one. I wont be back, nor will my company employees.

The breakfast was the best of it all. They had many options and it was delicious. Very well done and clean.

Always a great stay when husband goes to work here! Rooms are so comfortable don't even want to leave room. Trying to figure out how to get my bedroom at home this comfy! Love the convenience of fitness center and pool which was pretty chilly but refreshing once in! Did that all with a sleeping baby in a stroller!

My family and I stayed in a nice two queen room. The shower had marble panneling. The room had a minifridge, which is always handy when traveling with children. We wanted to try the pool, but it rained the duration of our 2-day visit. The breakfast offering was great and they had a super cool push-button automatic pancake maker. We had an enjoyable stay.

Amazing amazing hospitality! Completely understanding of the circumstances we are in during the evacuations and have gone out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! What a great team!

We are currently staying at this hotel under emergency evacuation from the Oroville Dam breach. While the rooms are nice, the manager on duty, whose name is Tammy, has been extremely rude during this stressful time. While waiting in the lobby, we heard her give three different customer calls 3 different rates for tonight, and when we went to extend our stay, she informed us that the room rate would continue to go up "based on increased occupancy". When we simply asked about increasing price during the emergency situation she snapped "do you want to reserve the room or do you want to stand here and debate about the rates? " It was by FAR the worst customer service I have received at a hotel. If there is anywhere else you can stay, I would highly recommend it.

BEWARE! I got my mom a room here this last Sunday (August 7th), she use to stay here all the time when it was Comfort Inn & Suites & loved it. On Monday morning my bank called because they thought someone may have gotten a hold of my card information. There are 8 transactions of $40, $20, $10, $100, $60, $10, $20, $10; totaling to $270. When I called the hotel the GM, Tammy was EXTREMELY rude & said my mom had a dog in the hotel (mind you, they knew I wasn't there). I didn't argue & asked why such the random transactions & her reply was "I didn't know how much money was on your card", that was a huge red flag in my eyes & gave me an uneasy feeling. Even corporate didn't understand why all the transactions. My bank had called me again when I was on the phone with corporate, my card was tried 5 more times but they had declined all of them (all the others went through as of right now). To me this is all shady. Now corporate is telling me I have to resolve this with the Rocklin location & I'd be getting a call from Tammy, the general manager. This was Sunday & STILL NO CALL! I'm calling corporate back today, I'm a patient & kind person but at thus point feel very taken advantage of, especially because of the lack of communication. However, I do have to say whomever I spoke to at the corporate phone number was AMAZING & tried everything she could. I now have a "case number" & everything.

I really liked this hotel loved the breakfast in the morning also the a/cin the room worked really good location was close to alot of things to do my only complaint was that I didnt get to check in early got to hotel at 9:30am after a long drive the receptionist said she cant let me check in until 3pm so I had to wait in my car for 5 1/2 hours.

Great service, friendly staff, great breakfast, and clean rooms! We had a problem with the AC in our room but they fixed it quickly!

The staff was awesome. Super friendly and accommodating. The only complaints we had were that we couldn't hear the TV when the air conditioning was running even with the volume turned up to 100 and the elevator seemed to have no air-conditioning. Otherwise it was a solid place to stay.

Staff was un-accommodating to give a late check out past 12:30. As an IHG Spire Elite member I have travelled to this property on many occasions for business, very rude & wouldn't give any explanation, just repeating herself.

I stay here regularly when working in the area. Convenient located. Clean. Comfortable.

Extremely disappointed! We went to check in and there was a gas leak, the whole building had been evacuated. Firetrucks were taking up he parking lot, and guests had even been evacuated from the pool and had to be on the main road in their swim wear. We were told it should be about an hour and to go get food and come back. Called back in an hour, after check in time, still the place hadn't been cleared as safe to enter. We tried to get the hotel to place us elsewhere at the comparable rate and they refused even after we had driven down from Oregon most of the day (I understand from other hotel management this is typical protocol and a hotel courtesy). We were told even though the room wasn't ready for check in at 3 (they called us at 6 and said we could come back) that they would not accommodate this because the room hadn't been over booked. I called guest services to try again and the representative was extremely rude and condescending. I will NEVER give them my business, I can't believe they expected me to put my family in danger and return to sleep there. Needless to say we found somewhere else to stay.

BED BUGS + LIERS Everyone was very nice until they had to be honest and refund our rooms. The minute we walked in we found a bug on a pillow. Brought it to front desk, employee was apologetic but not surprised. Moved to the next room, of course we checked and there is a spot, where someone smashed another bug against the mattress cover, with the bug dead in it.
We grab our bag and two tired kids to leave. He apologized and said he was aware of the problem and it wouldn't be a problem to cancel, but we have to do it through @Expedia since that's who we paid. Called as we are driving out and get a call back from Expedia within minutes that they rejected the refund!
Shameless, lying employees and bugs in the beds… Why would anyone stay here with so many other hotels in the area?

Reserved a room over the phone with my debit card, just to show up just to have them tell me I need a credit card to get the room. So I had to cancel my reservation just over not having a credit card. Waste of my time.
