You get what you pay for. However my experience at this place was more than just ran down and dirty. We went to the continental breakfast but there wasn't anyone at the front desk, it was locked. We went for a walk then breakfast somewhere else and when we came back to the room our key was expired at 9am thus locked out of my room. The front office was locked. They posted a cell number at the window and they would no answer they text we will be right there. We gave up went to beach the returned at 11am 1230 and 1pm same thing. I finally called the police and suddenly someone upstairs comes out. They act like they did us a favor of opening the door and not charging another day since check out was at 11. Basically not a good operating business. If you have children I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Stayed there for 1 night, in one room with 4 people. Only had 2 towels and 1 soap. Asked a couple of times for extras, but didn't get them (probably forgotten or just ignored). Location is fine, close to some nice places to eat. Went to Surfin' Donuts for breakfast just across the street, great donuts there!

Disgusting, outdated, do not stay at this place, went in, checked it out & left fast! The pictures speak for themselves! So gross!

Good price! Friendly service. Microwave, mini fridge in room. No hair dryer. 5 minute walk to pier and restaurants.

Owner totally overcharged me for a room knowing there were no other vacancies in town. Curtains were broken and wouldn't close, beds broken. Everything in the room was old, broken, dirty or moldy. As a bonus we also saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Terrible experience.

Definitely worth every penny. Our room had no door knob to the bathroom, no bathroom light, the toilet seat was broken in such a way that if you moved just right it would pinch your butt, and don't even think of using the hair dryer. But they had the most comfortable beds ever. In all seriousness I am definitely staying here again. It was an adventure like I haven't had since backpacking Thailand.

100.00 for a room a block from the beach is great but the little things can be annoying ie: TV has to be reset everyday for it to work and the restroom door scrapped the floor.

This is a Good place to stay, friend d my service and close by the Pier and shops.

This place was disgusting. We came in late and the lights didn’t work and that should have been the first red flag. There were hairs and makeup on the pillows, floors weren’t vacuumed, no fitted sheets on the beds, old spring mattresses with the middles sunken in, old heavy pillows, the air conditioning didn’t work, the curtains wouldn’t close all the way, we could hear clear as day the people in the room next to us… DO NOT stay here. Manager refused a refund and being it the only vacancy in between all of Morro Bay, SLO and Pismo, we didn’t have a choice but to stay here. Not to mention it was $150 per night.

We stayed 4 days, it wasnt fancy but it was sufficiant, it had a King Size bed, a T. V. That was modern, a shower, good parking, and a nice staff. 4 Days $268.00… and that was the beautiful thing about it. This was my 2nd stay so I knew what I was getting. Also every where else we checked into was way over board on the price to the tune of … $ 145.00 per night … TRY IT.

We got a 2 bedroom room for 2 adults and 2 children. Ill start with the positive. It has a microwave, fridge, parking close to your room, and you can walk to the beach. Negatives: -Wi-Fi doesnt really work -room REAKED of smoke and I have 2 children plus im pregnant -bedding reaked of smoke -the "heated pool" that's open until 10 pm was pad locked so no access -there is absolutely no air vents for AC or even a fan built in so either bring your own fan or good luck with just opening the Windows -half the outlets dont even work -the window in the bathroom has no screen -bathtub had some type of nats crawling everywhere when I attempted to bathe my child -no coffee maker -paint is coming off the walls and baseboards -smoke Detector obviously doesn't work -fridge isn't properly cleaned (black stuff in it) Don't waste the money coming here. You get nothing they advertise (pool, breakfast etc). Its the crappiest hotel I have ever booked and I will never return. I shouldve just slept in the car with the kids. At least we wouldn't have reaked of cigarette smoke (although there's a no smoking sign on the door…).

Can't sleep people yelling other room I can hear clear as day and banging on the walls manager did nothing about it won't refund my money won't give me a receipt for motel stayed here two nights manager started causing at me because I wanted my money back.

Average cheap motel but everything was nice here and front desk was friendly.

I take room in this motel and they dont have Air condition and then after hour im back to office to ask them and they say we dont have it at all the motel then im ask about my money back they say they will charge me half the price coz I been hour on a room so no one go to this motel its so bad.

We had an awful first experience. We were thrilled about the price, but extremely disappointed. Number one: pool is said to be heated, but it definitely wasn't. The ac/heater did not work; causing us to be freezing during the night and hot during the day. The room was filthy when we entered. We called the office for extra towels and he forgot to bring them completely. It was definitely not a good experience.

Staff was very friendly hotel very nice but didn't had A/C. But the pool was so warm and nice super clean will stay here again.

They scanned my credit card and ID and printed it which I objected to, but they insisted. There was no aircondition and we got a fan which didnt help much. The room was big and the bathroom ok.

It was a beautiful room great location and staff was friendly.

It has easy freeway access and the rooms are nice inside. There is no in-room coffee that breakfast the next morning could hardly be called that. The guy behind the counter was very nice though.

Pictures online are nothing like the actual room… bathroom accommodations totally unacceptable and gross, visible cracks in the wall, only one chair in the room and the room is so small the queen bed is all that fits… I would pass this place by.

Tha service is not good this managers Tha rooms they not good condition not clean Plus tha manager take money from you credit card like stiling you fron you acount tha happen to my they dont wanna give my money back not from tha room. He make diferent chage I dont kwon what he never talk us what he was doing we my credit card. Peplo open u eyes in this hotel… not good.

We made our reservation online and the man at the reception desk stated that it was invalid and attempted to charge us again. I see that a similiar issue has happened previously with another guest in another review. About 15 minutes later, we were finally heading to our room. The smoke alarm is completely broken (I doubt there will be a fire but come on man…) and the lights (both overhead and bedside lamps) did not work — in fact, the only thing that worked was the TV. As mentioned in other reviews, I will restate to confirm that the towels provided are disgusting, stained, and dirty. The shower is so dirty I will not be using it as the wall has mold and the matt in the bottom of the shower is dirty and ripped. The place is not modern at all, I feel as if I have traveled back thirty years upon entering. Update: I just noticed we don't have a shower curtain, just a ton of broken curtain rings. The bedside lamps do not have lightbulbs in them period. The bathroom floor has hair that belongs to neither of us and there is dirt and sunflower seeds on it. The outlets don't work.

Rooms are decent for the price.

So 23 yrs ago my hubby and I stayed here so we thought how cool to go back again 23 years later, well it was no picnic! We checked in on Feb. 26th, 2016 we asked if our room we stayed in 23 years earlier was available they said no so we stayed in room 27 right next to the street, noise level was ok. We tried calling front desk from our room and the phone was not working, the reason for me calling them was because I needed a light bulb in my lamp (light bulb missing) so I could see better, front desk guy said he would be there in 15 min. Never saw him again till we were ready to check out. So here is the break down no working phone (the entire stay), no light bulb (the entire stay), in morning went to take a hot shower and had no hot water barely luke warm, tub mat was filthy, chewed up and pulling up, mold growing in shower and on base boards, toilet leaked pee water from the base. Hubby went to talk to front desk guy and address the issues we had and he immediately went and said I refuse to give you any money off your stay and at this point my hubby didn't ask for money back yet. The front desk guy came to the room started telling us he cant fix the shower because it would require a plumber we knew better has my hubby and I have been working for motels and hotels for over 20 years. When my hubby told him no give me a wrench I can fix it in 10 min. The guy said oh well it will take me 10 min.

The motel has a good location. The rooms are old and tired, no air conditioning which is a big minus. You have to keep the windows open or swelter so the noise and smoke of the people outside comes in to the room. No tea or coffee. Very basic. Also paid a lot for the room. It was still cheaper than other places nearby but maybe just don't go to Pismo.

Stayed on a monday night in summer. Everything was standard and acceptable. ~$80 for2.

Rooms are dirty I wanted to get my money back cause it was gross but I would have lost out on to much money cause he did not want to give me my money back So they put me in a room a few doors down and it was also gross the outside looks better then the inside don't stay here.

If you are looking for a nice cheap hotel (better than most motel 6s) then this is the place! We got the 2 bedroom it has 3 beds perfect for a family of 5. One flat screen one box tv. Fridge microwave table standard for this sort of hotel. I loved our stay here. The guy up front was extremely friendly and got us checked in instantly. Check this place out if u want a cheap suite for u r family.

I wanted a suite got a room with three bed. It says on the add there is a kitchen but there was a small fridge and a microwave. This room does not have A/C. I guess a waste basket and shower curtain are extra, because when my family and I arrived there are none. The good thing is very short walk to the beach.

It sucked wed site said heated pool so did sign out front but is not heated requested two rooms side by side had us slit apart because he gave out one of our rooms that I had paid for when asked for a discount for his mess ups and for the fact of his false wed page was told not my problem will NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGIEN.

Beds were comfortable which helped me go back to sleep after the gun fire erupted by the river. Rooms have no air! If there is no vacancy then there is no parking. Our windows had no screens on them. You can pay $10 more and stay somewhere better. I have always seen this place and wanted to try it. I did.

Nice, quiet hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. Bathroom clean and stocked. But needs to improved their complimentary breakfast, the muffins were too small, need bigger size than bite size muffins they are serving.

The manager just cancelled my reservation for the weekend of the big Pismo Classic Car Show because some other customers tried to book the room last year and booked for the WRONG weekend. Im sorry, how is that my bad?! That is just absolutely B. S. Someone else's mistake should NOT cause my reservations to be cancelled. I booked the room for the proper dates. How is it that I am the one thats stuck?! I will NEVER stay at this hotel. That is piss poor customer service.

We got a good deal and liked it very much. New room, flat screen, fridge, Wi-Fi and friendly stuff. That's it.

The manager Don was very pleasent and worked with us. We had a wedding party and needed 5 rooms and on a very tight budget. Don gave us a more then fair discount price. The wedding was at 2 in the afternoon and Don allowed all the rooms to stay till 2 to get ready. The motel could use some maintance but saving a few bucks and allowing us time to save us inconvience or to pay for a extra day was well worth the stay.
