Review of The Casitas of Arroyo Grande 4*

The Casitas is our special 'Getaway'. Lovely, Romantic, relaxing and FUN! This was our 3rd visit and we can't wait to go back! There is a good reason why EVERYONE rates this place 5 stars. Toni and Pat are the MOST wonderful Hosts. The property is gorgeous, on top of a hill with breathtaking views in the country, yet minutes away from SLO with every store, the beach and great restaurants. The best, our favorite. There are fantastic wineries 5 min away in every direction. One day we set out on a hiking trip which ended up being from the parking lot to the wine tasting room at Chamisol, one of our favorites. Ask for Patty. There is great hiking nearby. Perhaps next time. This visit we requested 'the chef' to prepare a gourmet meal, what a treat! Rochelle prepared and served us a very delicious meal the food was as wonderful as getting to know her, a warm wonderful interesting person. We chose to dine in the main house dining room while another couple chose a romantic setting in their private casitas. The pool\bocci court is down the hill with spectacular views, where I do Yoga in the mornings before our delicious gourmet breakfast is served. We generally choose to have our breakfast on our private patio overlooking the valley and field with horses. A recent addition is the vineyard, next to the pool area, the leaves were beautiful fall colors this visit. My husband likes to bring his telescope for star gazing as the night sky is amazing. We love The Casitas and Tony and Pat. Can't wait to go back. We will definitely have Rochelle prepare another meal for us. Who knows, we may even get in serious a hike.
