The employees were friendly enough — kinda. Called at 7:00AM to see if early check in was available for the two rooms I’d booked, and was that was possible. We drove three hours across the desert and when we arrived — only one of the rooms was actually available. The manager said he’d have housekeeping ready the room if we’d like to go to the restaurant next door for food and wait. Came back to find the manager gone and the housekeeping staff on lunch. We waited 3 hours for another room to become available — and not the room next door as had been requested and confirmed by phone previously. No one seemed to know what was going on! Not one of the better experiences as far as customer service goes. Aside from all that — it was clean and seemed well maintained.

Small rooms, but clean and modern and quiet. Not much in the way of amenities, but it's great if you need a place to sleep while traveling. Great place to stay out if passing through Palm Springs. Good parking if you drive a truck.

Decent stay and within walking distance from a restaurant and convenience store. We got into our room and saw a few bugs and they moved us to another cleaner room without hesitation. The bathroom was very clean and quite large considering the price. Would stay again!

The Motel 6 in North Palm Springs right off the interstate 10 is a 5. They are very helpful and Respectful. Now on the other hand the Motel 6 on east Palm Canyon they are disrespectful and really don't care. I won't stay there again The Manger there is an disrespectful piece of shut.

I couldn't ask for better people or better rooms. Anna and her staff are the best. I would highly recommend this hotel. We are really impressed with mo and tamecca and their professionalism.

Great service, clean rooms and the pool is pretty nice. Also has self-service laundry on site. Only downside is no restaurants deliver here, but it's only 10 minutes from many of them so pickup is an option. Would stay here again.

Sheets were dirty and stained with some type of substance. There was also long strands of black hair. Very disgusting. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was so late when I checked in, I slept in my clothes on top of the bedspread. Old mattress I am sure and old out dated sheets. Old towels that scraped my face. I was surprised by this because I usually have great experiences at Motel 6 since I travel a lot. The front desk clerk was very nice and friendly.

There were too many flies everywhere, outside and inside the rooms. The pool was too cold to enjoy and the water makes you itch for a week, feels like stickers all over your body. As for the room service, the front office/manager should take the guests work hours into consideration of their sleep schedules and come to an agreement of what time would work best for cleaning.

This Motel 6 is directly next to the 10 freeway, and conveniently next door to a Denny's restaurant. It was affordably priced for a Saturday night. The room was clean and the A/C cooking was already on when we entered the room. Which was a relief considering the triple digit temperature outside. I would stay there again.

Always a fair price. Always great customer service. Only 4 stars because there never seemsto be coffee ready or made in the lobby unless I check out after 7AM.

I got locked out two times both day I was there! But the rooms was clean quite and cozy made Me feel at home! Just don't go nowhere because U can get back in! Night staff was really nice on top of that! Can't say the same about the day Staff!

Extremely expensive to be a Motel, unlike other establishments of the chain had no shampoo or hair dryer. A blanket and a quilt old. The attention was good on the part of the people who work there.

I don't ever expect much from Motel 6 @ $53 a night, but this room was dirty and not vacuumed. The floors had dirt from previous guests and dust balls under the bed. At the very least, please vacuum! The bedspreads had cigarette holes/burns and the wood tables had chips. The beds were comfy and the TV worked fine. But the walls are so paper thin I could hear the neighbors TV on late at night and it kept me awake. The pool was unheated. All the employees were very nice and accommodating.

This motel is very nice place. Looks to me the rooms have been renovated recently. The staff are super friendly. Conveniently, a Dennys and fuel stations next door. Room to park oversized vehicles. I will come back again and again.

The place is of medium quality, the rooms are a bit dirty. I would not recommend it.

Your better off sleeping in the car. The hotel has no attention to detail. Not changing out the bed sheets. There were blood stains on the sheets n when notified the front. They handed over a new set of sheets for me to change out. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Not few strands like bunch of hair on the corners. It's disgusting place. Never again.

Warning! Worst customer service! My reservation says smoking. Next thing you know the alarm goes off and I get call from the staff saying I can’t smoke because it’s a non smoking room. Interesting because the room smells like smoke and there was an ash tray. They told me they would have to evict me if I smoke. They gave Absolutely no courtesy on helping my situation when they could of easily offered a smoking room but instead they would rather make the customer feel guilty then their incompetence on the initial reservation. Completely unprofessional, lack of care and they made it more about them then the customer paying them money. 2 star hotel or not. Completely worthless staff.

Rooms were fine but could be better, A small ref could help. Other than that very nice. Staff was great. Ice machine did not work.

I'm sorry to say this was one of the worst experiences we've had with Motel 6. We don't expect 'fancy digs', just a clean, comfortable place with a decent bed and feel safe. Unfortunately, of the four nights we stayed here, we were awakened in the late night, early morning hours three times! Once was a customer pounding loudly and repeatedly on the door of the adjacent room, the other two were 'false alarm' fire alarms! When we complained to staff, they said it was due to customers smoking in non-smoking rooms. When we asked why they didn't throw those folks out, they said that they only 'warn' that customer the 'first' time. If they do it again, then they get evicted and fined by the fire department. WOW! Seems to me, they should be more aggressive in enforcing their rules — at least, with a 'surcharge' or something! It's pretty frightening at 1:30am in a strange location. Naturally, I called the front desk to confirm after going out our door and neither seeing nor smelling anything. When they answered they confirmed it was a 'false alarm', but its pretty hard to get back to sleep after that kind of disturbance. Will I use this motel? Never again is my decision. Unfortunately, I'll also think twice before booking Motel 6 in any location again.

There are as long black hair throughout the room. There was used soap left in the bathtub from the previous guest. I spent my own time cleaning the room. When I needed to extend my stay for additional nights the price was increased! When I questioned the rate increase the desk clerk went to a side room and brought back a large gentleman out as if to intimidate me. At no time did I raise my voice or act rude. He said I would need to talk with the manager tomorrow. When I asked her hours he said “she is in and out”. I ended my stay early, the lady at the front desk did refund me my last night that I did not stay when I checked out. We work in the area alot and myself or my guys will not be staying there again!

Place was a welcome to my family just needing to get away for the night. Staff was helpful and gave us no issues. We ordered pizza, showered and watched television for the night. It was very comfortable.

The front desk staff were friendly. The room had a few things that made wonder about the cleaning. There was slight poo skid marks in the toilet. The sink was clogged. If you ran the water for 5 seconds at fully open the sink would fill up and not drain. There was some dark hairs stuck on the wall of the shower. There was some little tiny bugs near the air conditioner. There was a burn hole in the bedspread and there was like oil type stains on the other bed spread. No fan in the bathroom. I have worked in the hospitality industry myself so maybe I notice more than most.

Consistent room quality room I can now expect from motel 6. Good deal during the Indian Wells tournament. 23mi from tournament, but doesn't feel like it with little traffic.

I have been staying at Motel 6 over the last few years after the motels were renovated for cleanliness and being pet friendly. But my stay on March 3 was one of the worst ever in any hotel/motels I have ever stayed at. To begin with, there were no towels in my room I called the front desk and asked for towels. The clerk, Norma told me that she could not. Bring me any, and if I want towels I would have to pick it up myself. I was very tired after driving 12 hrs from Texas, and it was cold and windy, I repeated myself if anybody can just bring me a towel or two, With no explanation why, I was told over again the only way I can have towels is to pick it up myself. Frustrated and upset, I went to the office and pick up the towels, after telling her that she was rude over the phone and all I needed was basic service from the Motel. I also asked her what kind of business she were running because all I ask was very basic. She dais it was not her fault that there was no towels. She told me if I don't stop complaining and being upset, she will throw me out of the property without refund. In any given time, I did not threat her of bodily harm. No apologies nor explanation from her. At the end of the day, basic and excellent customer service will bring US back to your Motel 6 or ANY Motel 6. Would I go back or recommend your Motel 6, I doubt it. I give credit to Stephanie, Day manager of your office who step up to your clients.

I always stay at motel 6 for its cleaning but this time was a bad experience sign in with my aunt and her husband into the room and they were very susias the beds and burned cigar does not hise keja k had a commitment in palm springs and it was already late so we kedamls to sleep we use our own blankets to sleep comfortable … it is the first bad experience is always perfect all the hotels.

Great location! Denny's was next door and next to that was a circle K, super convenient. The first room was fine besides that it was a handicapped room, which was ok until I took a shower and the entire floor of the bathroom flooded. I notified the front desk and their answer was to give us another room. So we switched rooms, this one reeked of marijuana, but we put up with it. Not very clean, great rates and very nice employees.

Clean room, friendly service. Will come here again. Thanks for taking us in at the last minute after being kicked out of another hotel for having a dog. I will always remember that Motel 6 is animal friendly.

There are several gas stations and a Denny’s restaurant within walking distance of the property. The rooms are pretty standard issue, and my room was small, clean, quiet and functional. The HDTV had lots of channels to watch, including HBO. The bathroom had a shower and there wasn’t a hair dryer. Even though we were right next to the freeway, I didn’t hear any excess noise. Wi-Fi is available for an extra fee. When you stay at Motel 6, you know you need to provide your own toiletries, soap, and shampoo. I wish they would invest a few more dollars and provide decent bath towels and linens. It seems that coarse threadbare towels are a requirement at every Motel 6. There is a coin laundry, several vending machines with cold drinks and snacks, and a nice pool. What made this location special was the people who work there. I had lots of luggage, and they were more than happy to store it for me, while I had lunch at Denny’s. I highly recommend a stay at the Motel 6 in North Palm Springs. They’ll even leave the light on for you.

It was very accessible to me and my family. It made my vacation all whole lot better! The rooms were clean. Everything was perfect!

The room was basic but very clean and the bed comfortable. Enough linens for two people comfortably. No extras like in room coffee, mini fridge or microwave but at $52 per night, was a good value. While a ways out from Palm Springs or Palm Desert, it has a great freeway location for the traveler with a Denny's not more than 25 yards away and an ARCO across the street.

Best 6 we've stayed in for room size and cleanliness. Unfortunately on the ground floor we heard too much noise from the room above with the carpets taken out. I completely understand why, with allowing pets less messes. If we didn't have a disabled son with us, a 2nd story would have been better.

The place was just OK but could be better than the other one I've visited in my past. So for the most important thing is that it was great so far.

Typical Motel 6. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi did not work for my devices. I paid $4.99 and got to service. I got refunded immediately. I have stayed at a better Motel 6 many times.

Nice location and a great staff. Would be better if there was an on site security person. Lots of activity going on at night. Staff is aware and are active in taking care of the bad elements but an on site security person would help discourage it.

I've stayed at Motel 6 off and on for Years. I've always appreciated the comfort and value. This latest remodel, however, really impressed me. What a nice upgrade! I'll definitely be back!

Room was good. The sheets had some stains to them. The floor could have been cleaner. No bad for a motel though.

Very pleased. Amenities are basically what you expect, but the employees here really go above and beyond. Front desk was kind and the maintenance man helped me with my car. People like that deserve all the kindness they receive in life. I would stay here again.

Coming in late and then ran into closures on I-10. So, called hotel to let them know we'd be late and the desk clerk looked up the information on the road closure (road work at night) and then called us back 30 minutes later to make sure we were OK, when we might be in, and to see if we needed directions. Excellent customer service! Friendly and courteous once we got to the hotel and checked in. Right off freeway (we were on back side, so no traffic noise! ), right next to windmill farm (close to windmill tour start point), next door to an IHOP. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Quiet, efficient Air Conditioner.

Got here late, quick easy check in, even though I went to the wrong one. All staff very curtious, helpful and friendly. I had a couple issues arise and easily and swiftly handled without error. Bed options for a adult traveling w child was great, my back is happy happy. Would and probably will come back.

We got in very late, and we're very tired. Person at the front desk Westberry courteous and extremely efficient. The rooms were clean the parking lot was under surveillance, which made us feel good about leaving a fully loaded moving truck there overnight. All in all highly recommend this particular Motel 6

A few days ago, I was an unexpected guest at the Motel 6 in North Palm Springs. Originally, I had my reservations for the downtown Motel 6. However, the road was closed due to strong winds that blew sand into the dip of the road and required road closure. The manager at the North Palm Springs Motel 6 was so kind, considered and helpful to get my reservation transferred. She and the staff helped to make my stay a very pleasant memory. This tour gives visitors to the valley an opportunity to see up close and personal the windmills and turbans and solar installations only otherwise visible from Interstate 10. The tour begins in the visitor reception area/trailer. After about 25 minutes of introduction, guests for the bus and visit the wind turbines, solar installations, and a peak-period natural-gas-fired generation plant. My tour concluded at the Windmill Market, where we were provided with a date shake as refreshment. The tour may not hold the attention of children.

The tour guide was a pleasant individual but some of his info was factually incorrect. This is such a great venue for some real energy education that accuracy and a balanced viewpoint is required.

This tour was excellent and very informative. I took the tour last Friday, and there were about 6 other people in the tour. The tour guide began by telling us that we could interrupt him whenever we wanted if we had a question, and he would answer us the best he could. There was an engineer in the tour group who asked many complex questions which were all efficiently answered by the tour guide. Next, he showed us many pictures and told us about the history of windmills. There were about 25 different pictures which went from showing a windmill design from 1905 to the way windmills work today. He told us about the failures and the learning experiences. After this, he took us to a modern, new bus to take us around the Coachella Valley, the nearest wind farm. The one bad experience I had was that the bus was a little rickety as we drove. However, they helped fix this by adding in a powerful microphone and speaker. We even got very close to a windmill! Then, we arrived back at the tour place and the man thanked us for coming, and we were out of there. They also supplied free water fresh from a fridge and a vending machine to get any soft drinks! Overall, this was an excellent tour worthy of an excellent review.
