This property was perfect for a spa get away. Mud baths were a hoot. Sooo relaxing and then a wonderful message. The mineral pools were soooo great. Loved everything about the p, ace. All staff was GREAT.

Hot springs fed pool and hot tubs… bliss on a cold drizzly day! Front desk staff very helpful! Looking forward to massage and mud tomorrow! Comfy room!

Golden Haven is a great choice. Its quiet location in close proximity to downtown a lot of outdoor restaurants and shops is peaceful. The rooms and all facilities are well maintained and super clean! The pools and spa are relaxing yet unpretentious. It's exactly what I want on my get away forty birthday. 😇 ❤️

Very amazing with great customer service, this place was truly phenomenal and the scenery is gorgeous. The food restaurants downtown was delicious. Especially Hydro Grill, the wait time was really fast and customer service was amazing. I ate a BLT sandwich which was amazing.

Great time last night. Extremely relaxing couple’s mud bath w added couple’s full body massage. Ask for extra 4 mins in mud bath and less time in heated blanket.

Enjoyed the mud bath and an hour long massage. Nichole and Maggie took their time to hit all the spots we asked them to, Lou said it was the best massage he’d ever had. Me and my step daughter just spent the afternoon at the Golden Haven Spa. We were beyond happy with the service, attention and amazing massages.
We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. As we were early we took advantage of the sundeck and mineral pool. When it was time for our mud baths, our attendent Dezi came to get us, settled us in our baths. She was great! As neither of us had used a mudbath before, she took the time to explain how to get in and stay comfortable. She came in and checked on us, gave us clay masks and cooling towels. After our baths, she led us to the showers, and then to the "nap" wrap room. Dezi wrapped us up, and gave us chilled towels for our necks and faces.
Our massage therapists were fabulous. Nicole, my therapist was able to work out some serious knots, aches and pains. I have several herniated discs from a previous auto accident and have had many massages, but none were as effective as the one I received from Nicole. She was amazing. I'd had a headache for weeks from neck and back pain, and I left pain free. I had the best night sleep I've had in a long, long time. I can't wait to come back. Planning on bringing my husband next month for our anniversary.

I booked a room a bit last minute for two weeknights and got a pretty reasonable deal. The room was large with complimentary water bottles, Aveda shampoos, and hand soaps which appeared to be made at the resort. I got there early and they allowed me to check in and gave me a robe for my massage appointment the next day. There is a pool and two hot tubs which are available for use. I didn’t think the hot tubs were very hot but I guess they are as hot as the springs. On my second day there I had my massage, my masseuse was (well I lost the business card… young guy from WI) he was very pleasant, didn’t get upset when I mistakenly ate his chocolate, and the massage definitely felt like an art-form. It was grrrrreat.

The Mud Baths were interesting, yet relaxing once you get used to it. The mineral baths were a nice change up to the mud, but the blankets (swaddling) was the best part. Great prices for couples and the staff was awesome!

Came here for the mud treatment. It was divine. So relaxing and rejuvenating. Not only was the mud itself great, but the staff and ambiance are really top notch!

Took my wife there not expecting much (I didn't really want to go…). We got the mud bath/facial massage package. Long story short: I loved it. The mud was a little too hot for my feet but the attendant put some ice in there for me. I was amazed at how a 20 minute soak in the mud smoothed out my skin. This is followed by showering off in the mineral water and a 20 minute soak in a mineral water hot tub. Then relax in the aroma therapy room (I dozed off) and finish with the head and shoulders massage. Takes about 1.5 hours and it's over way too soon. We will definitely go back if we're out that way again.

Room Was different no phones in the room but bed was relaxing. The parking lot is ruff to get around if you have a big vehicle. I like the overall experience it makes you disconnect from the world and relax. Staff was great overall I would rate them higher but it needs alittle more things to do for the price you pay. But the best part of it all was the mud bath and massage.

Really interesting — — we stopped by to do the mud bath treatment. I did not expect the mudbath to be so… twiggy? There was so much debris that was added to the mud bath to improve flotation, it felt kinda gross on the skin. But my experience might have been better if we had done our research in advance so we would've expected the right experience. Instead of expecting a smooth clay mud bath. Other than the gross-feeling mud setup, it was still a very relaxing, clean, and well-maintained location. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but for those who know what they're getting into, this is probably one of the best options on the area.

Great place! yes, It's a little pricey but well worth the money spent! Their massage therapist really know what they're doing and listen to you for your particular problem area. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing weekend.

Fun and relaxing. We met friends there And stayed overnight. Our room was very clean, updated and the spa was fabulous. The whole spa experience was amazing. They have an indoor pool and 2 hot tubs. We did The couples special.

Overall this is a cozy very quiet place to stay. I had the solo spa package and this was my first visit. I called ahead of time for info about the mud bath and was told something completely opposite. They told me to bring and extra swim suit for my mud bath, didn’t need it. Also, my sink didn’t have hot water only the jacuzzi bath tub had hot water. No one offered to compensate me for that, probably because I didn’t make a big deal about it.

I have been going to Golden Haven for years. I remember when it look like a run down motel in the corner. Never dissuaded me from coming back. Love all the new looks, games, patio, bikes, Wi-Fi, lounge, fountain, lights use to be very dark. I will continue to patronage here and tell others as I have always done. Golden Haven a Five Star spot in my life.

Our mud bath experience was excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable not only about the treatment, and how you may experience things as a first timer, but also about the area restaurants and other amenities one may be interested in, in the area. The facility is a bit “dated” so I encourage newbies to embrace not judging a book by its cover, but it’s probably time for a make over in spite of the dated looking grounds it is also very clean, we will go back next month …

Really nice experience. Great staff, lots of amenities. The hotel is in a residential area, and a little dated, but we'll kept. Great rates on spa services and mud baths. All water is hot springs mineral water, so be prepared for the smell. But, all hotels with natural water will have this in the area.

Room was clean aside from the cobwebs on the ceiling corner. Bathroom/shower is very nice spacious and ample lighting. Kitchen amenities were good, I recommend better plates (not melamine) not good w/ microwave. Only thing I suggest is bathtub and a whole body mirror. I apologize for not remembering her name, since my husband arrived until we leave she never forget the reason why we came there. Very thoughtful and sweet.

Golden Haven Hot Springs is a small outlet of standard rooms with some basic amenities. Their lounge room provides some seating, coffee, water and a microwave, where their enclosed pool area also includes a warm and hot jacuzzi. Where this place excelled is their couples mud and mineral bath service. The attendant Kimberly was very welcoming, helpful and provided an easy guided experience. If you've been curious or wanting to try out a mud bath this is a recommended place to try something new and be pampered in the process.
