It was nice stay there. Hygienic place, courteous staff, spacious room with all required aminities and specially the morning complimentary breakfast which we liked/enjoyed very much.

Let me start by saying that I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a hotel in my life. I’ve stayed in hostels in Denmark, Germany, London, and Belgium that were disgusting. But this place beat them out of the water. The front lady was absolutely rude. I get it, maybe some people have off days. But I’ve never been belittled on how a debit card is used. Man was she trying to embarrass me in front of people. And then getting charged extra 200 dollars for smoking in a designated area. Man, I hope at least someone reads this. I never leave reviews due to moderate and expected experiences. But this place just left me angry. Just FYI to whoever stays here: apparently they have cameras somewhere hidden where they can see you.

Excellent team. They keep the room clean and current. Nice variety in the breakfast area.

Love this place. Rooms are clean, no mildew smell, and open parking that is close to front doors. The front desk is staffed with amazing people, we got checked in early without a second thought. They have a great breakfast nook in the morning. This will be the first place I will check for a room when coming back to Salinas area.

There's an overnight window to check in, very unfriendly. There is no lobby. Advertised rooms, but upon arriving, they started no vacancy.

Blower estar working at 8pm. You don't have to set the alarm, the help You wake you up.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, nothing too fancy. Had some issues with the room keys.

The rooms are big and comfortable, but the sink is outside and the Jets in the tub didn't work. There is no restroom outside the bedrooms. The breakfast was lousy; no eggs, old fruit and not enough seating.

We came to a event in salinas. The room was super clean.

Ok. Roon had a weird smell thought. The plus was microwave and fridge!

I was merely there to pick up a computer from a client, but the staff was very friendly and he seemed to have enjoyed his stay.

Rooms were decent, overall it was okay for an overnight stop after big sur due to cheaper prices.

Best place in immediate area. 2nd and 3rd floor stairs are secure but not the bottom floor. Breakfast area only has 3 tables. Rooms are a little dated but everything worked just fine.

The bad experience started as soon as my mother and I walked in the door. My mother asked if he had a trashcan to throw something away. His response was speak English not Spanish. My mother and I don't even know Spanish, he was just being a jerk because we are Hispanic and not from India. I made the reservation for 3 adults online, than when we checked in he said it was only made for 2 and added a charge for another $25 on top of the ridiculously high price already. The room was filthy, the tile on top of shower had mold, the towels were more yellow than white. I just had 2 knee surgeries and he wouldn't let us use the elevator when we checked in because it was late. I had to climb up to the 3rd floor with all our luggage. If it wasn't so late I would have went somewhere else. The breakfast was horrible, the person that cooks there needs a new position. Every time one of us went to the car for something he would follow us like we were stealing something. Even when we checked out he followed us out and watched us as we put our luggage into the car. He is a very prejudiced man and I don't think he needs to be in the business he is in. I've worked with the Feds since 2006 and I make great money, I don't need to be stealing from a very low end motel like his.

It was a perfectly reasonable hotel room at a decent price. I forgot to put the parking pass on my dashboard, but luckily they didn't tow me. The innkeeper was courteous and did in fact get up at 3am to accommodate my crazy check out time.

Just checked in today (8 October 2016) so my review is based on the first few hours. The goods: The room is clean, and does not smell funky. The furniture is comfy as well as the bed. There is a microwave and fridge, flatscreen and cable. The front desk lady who was also one of the managers was nice and accommodating. The bads: The windows are thin, so you get to hear everything going on outside unless you have your volume up on the TV and the AC/Heater running. There is no pool or gym, but the front desk attendant said they're hoping to put one in soon. The free Wi-Fi is bleak. They must have chosen the lowest possible priced option for providing service to their customers. Will you be able to check email? Yes. Will you be able to stream Netflix? Yes, but with interruptions. Will you be able to play games? Not without frustration! It's enough for me to use my hotspot instead. How bad is the internet you ask? Well, as of 5:30pm the speeds are: Download: 691 kbps Upload: 17.5 kbps.

Excellent quality service and comfortable rooms.

People there are very unfriendly, it's been running by a family and they don't care about you whatsoever. No laundry service, breakfast was bad. Before you book here go around the town there are many alt.

My room was really comfy and fully functional. But we had 3 rooms and one of the other rooms had really nasty gunk in the sink and they didn't do anything about it, it was not functional! The toilet was clogged and they just gave us the unclogger thing to unclog it ourselves… bad service!

The room was clean, but there were no tissues. There were not enough hand towels. Everything seemed a little cheap, but it did what I needed, which is provide a bed for the night at a low cost, so I have nothing to complain about.

The room was nice. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was solid. The worker was rude to us. Asked him how to find our room and he said "can you not read signs? " Then he did not help us anymore.

Decent room, awkward to get around second bed to the bathroom area, only a foot of clearance. Room was clean and bed was good. Rooms were a tad small for the size of furniture that they have. Other than that, had a good overall experience.

Clean sheets and pillow cases would have been nice, for starters. Stinks in here. Non-Smoking is actually short for, smoke em if you got em! Guy at the desk laughs alot, must be because he is laughing at anyone that stays here. I guess more money in his pocket when he only washes the sheets every 10 guests, jokes on me, you got me silly old man! oops, my mistake. Bad choice.

Reserved joining rooms with 2 queens arrived after several hours of driving and only two kings were available (pretty big problem for a family of 6) carpets were filthy surfaces were grimey fluid stained chairs Wi-Fi password was not provided non smoking room smelled like smoke window lock was broken and would not latch every time I stay at a hotel brand other than marriot I am quickly reminded why I pay more to stay at marriot. the only thing this place did right was breakfast. Although the cafe/room was very small they had a resonable selection of food.

Booked a Kingsize bed room was given two Queensize beds room. There was absolutely NO HOT WATER! The iron did NOT heat up but instead dumped water all over the pants that were being ironed. Very disappointed! One of the worst hotel experiences ever.

The room was great for the price. It was clean with alot of space. Only complaint is that the front door which is the only way to access the elevator was locked at a certain time. I was locked out for at least 10 minutes one night trying to buzz the night clerk to let me in. Then the elevators are shut down from 11 pm to 6 am. During that time you need to use the stairs which was a problem the morning I needed to check out at 5 am. Try carrying a 50 lb suitcase down 2 flights of stairs that early in the morning.
