Highly recommended. Great location, breakfast, pool, hot tub, fitness center. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and hardworking to meet our needs. No complaints at all. I would stay here again and again.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to Hollywood, Santa Monica and LAX airport. Great breakfast. Especially loved the pancake machine and make your own yogurt. Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable beds. Only issue was the toilet didn't flush properly and air conditioning didn't cool down the room enough. We stayed in a suite and the sofa bed room had no air conditioning at all. Also didn't enjoy the fact that they charge $20 a day parking fee. Overall had a satisfying experience with this hotel.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nice balcony. Breakfast was great. 10 minute walk to restaurants. Rooms were comfortable but could have more lighting. Did not have time to enjoy the outdoor hot tub & pool. Would recommend — a simple but pleasant stay.

Nice quiet stay in a location close to the metro to reach Santa Monica beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive and friendly to our needs. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I was really pleased with the staff, the accommodations and my stay overall. I got in late with a 26' moving truck. They made accommodations for parking, and when I asked about a snack because I had been on the road all day they opened up the breakfast area and let me have some juice and other types of simple food. Two weeks earlier I stayed at a resort in Tempe $300 a night for a room. This at room the best western had more updated and cleaner rooms than the resort in Tempe. Overall I was really pleased with the stay — even though it was short 10:30pm to 6:30am I was really happy with the staff and overall feel of the he hotel. The hotel is tucked away in what I would say is essentially a residential neighborhood (which is pretty much most of Santa Monica — residential neighborhoods with businesses tucked away here and there). Again overall really pleased and I told Rex the front desk guy that I would give him a shout out on my review. He was really personable and again all were pleasant to deal with. But the hotel parking is not free as advertised, the valet service is charged $20 per day to park.

Really close to the Expo train line, which made it easy to travel. Nice clean, comfortable rooms. Decent complimentary breakfast as well.

Spectacular value. The welcoming, free valet was a good start. Though the building is nothing much to look at, the room was modern and had a separate living room with pull-out. Pool and hot tub were clean. The staff is the best part. They are friendly, welcoming, and worked hard to make sure everything was taken care of. Whoever owns or operates the establishment, clearly they care.

Queen suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is street parking which is quite of a walk, but is doable. Stayed in a room on lower level and could hear all the foot steps and squeaky floor above. For this reason, I wouldn't stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Usually very reasonable price for the area. Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and UCLA are 5 minutes away. Great valet service. Full breakfast. Older hotel, but staff is very responsive.

This hotel is a great value. The room was clean, internet was good, bed was comfortable. We booked a suite and the small extra room was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the breakfast and coffee was better than other comparable hotels. We would definitely stay there again. Only negatives were that we could occasionally hear noise from other rooms and the bathroom was too small.

Great location. Very close to a lot of restaurants. Has parking that is $20 a day or street parking if you can find it. Room was nice and clean. Quite spacious. The walls are CRAZY THIN. I could hear everything happening outside let alone the room next door. Free breakfast is nice with a decent selection of pastries, yogurt, etc as well as a few hot items.

Very clean, I felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Overall, I enjoyed my brief stay and would highly recommend if ever in the area. I should have rated a 5star, but the price seems a bit much. But, when it comes to Best Westerns, this one would definitely be the "Royal Palace" of Best Westerns.

Very clean and comfortable. The entire hotel is meticulously maintained and staff is attentive and accommodating. The staff are very friendly, the place is really clean! The guy at the reception named Fred was extremely kind and help us out throughout our stay. The breakfast is decent. I would definitely stay there again! Plus free valet parking.

We came to California for the first time ever and decided to stay at this best western and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made! our stay was amazing, clean and everyone was so friendly! Fred was an amazing help and friendly face while we stayed! would recommend this place 100% to everyone I see!

Very good location. Parking available at the Hotel car park (valet service, chargeable) or on the street. The street is a bit noisy, even early in the morning. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Free breakfast, normal in quality, generous in quantity. No luxury, adequat for a tourist or business stay.

Having lived in Beverly Hills for over 20 years I've seen luxury accommodations! So when I checked in here I was taken by surprise. The staff was warm and friendly and the immaculate presence of the small lobby — homey yet "in style". The morning meal was also presented with cleanliness and careful detail. Good coffee too! My room was sleek the hot water was a little timid in warming up but everything else including the bed from heaven was just refreshing and wonderful! WHY PAY MORE?

Our stay here was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was great. Everything was clean and working properly. Parking was $12 a day with valet which was really nice and convenient. Overall great experience, will definitely stay here if we return to the area!

When I usually see the words "Best Western" my mind thinks "K-mart. " I was forced to stay at this place, as I had no where else to go. Talk about hitting the jackpot. The place is an older hotel, but completely refurbished. It is clean to the bone. The beautiful thing about an older hotel is that the rooms are HUGE. I had a one-bedroom, which came with a completely separate living room (with pull out couch), and a bathroom that was humorously big! Only in the old days would they make a bathroom this big. Also had a good free breakfast. Wow. Definitely going back to this place.

Very good hotel, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were excellent, very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel is in a busy road but you do not hear any of the traffic noise. Some good restaurants nearby, Gulp did the best fish and chips I've ever had in the USA and was within walking distance! Would definitely use this hotel again!

Location and cleanliness was amazing. Friendly employees, nice hot tub, decent free breakfast. Parking situation was terrible; was advertised free parking but only about 4 public spaces available. Expect to pay for parking. Otherwise great!

Great location and value if you need to be near UCLA. Nicely renovated room except for the very small bathroom. Comfortable beds and very good flat screen tv's. Pleasant and clean lobby and breakfast area. Fairly basic hot breakfast that is adequate for starting the day.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find such a comfortable hotel and friendly, compétant front desk. We savored each of the three nights. The pool and spa areas were exceptionally inviting.

Great hotel, great staff, very good breakfast, clean rooms, but pool needs some more attention. There is no view though and that is fine as it is close to the highway which I could not hear from my room. Parking was free when booking through Best Western website.

They gave me a great deal with a last minute reservation. The room was larger than expected and everything was clean and comfortable. Super nice employees as well.

My stay was wonderful! I was only there for one night but all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Especially Fred from the front desk! The rooms aren't particularly large but they're clean and comfy. There is onsite parking but it's a $12 fee. Which is reasonable for the LA area. Also, be aware that if you get a second floor room, there is no elevator. However, it's a short walk up the stairs. Would stay again and I recommend this hotel. Side note: coffee is actually pretty good for hotel coffee!

I am a front desk staff member of a different Best Western in southern California. I'm disappointed to say that this hotel shames the franchise in terms of organization and guest service. I called to reserve a room around 4am at the employee rate, which was not advertised through the website. The night worker who claimed to be a 4 year team member at that location advised me not to worry — he would enter the reservation manually in the hotel reservation system. He took down all my information and confirmed that I'd be checking in that evening. Around 6pm the same day, as I was driving to the hotel, I called the front desk to confirm my reservation. The desk clerk told me she could not find it. I reasoned with her and asked to speak with a manager, but she told me there was no way to immediately reach anyone besides herself. When a half decent hotel makes a mistake and it's as shameful as a reservation disappearing, they'll go far out of their way to make it up. This time, I'm afraid the hotel only offered me $20 off the rate (still $60+ more than my original reservation) and without the opportunity to speak to a higher authority, I chose to decline. Without even stepping inside the hotel, Best Western Royal Palace Inn & Suites made a lasting impression on what customer service shouldn't be.

My wife and I stayed here a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. Staff are polite and very conveniently located. Will be back back.

Mainly it's close to our daughters house and very convenient. We have stayed there a number of times and have been happy with the service. It's even better now with new management. Fred at the front desk is very accommodating and the valet parking drivers very friendly and cooperative. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Loved the jetted tub. I didn't have one of those on my last stay. Room was clean, pillows were great, and the small muffins were delicious.

If you are in an emergency restroom situation like me, you know who you can go to. This placed saved my life and my draws. Thank you.

Clean hotel in a pretty good location. Very friendly staff! The two valet guys have been so kind and are always quick to park and bring your car back. Many breakfast options. Ask for a room with a tub, large and spacious bathroom. Very pleased.

Fred is the man. Checkin was at 3pm and we needed to get into our rooms to change and shower before our 3pm business meeting. Fred pulled some strings and made it happen despite us not giving him any warning. Rooms were good and free valet was nice.

Passed my expectations of what a best Western would look. But the bed I sleep in isn't that comfortable.

The location was great, the staff were extremely helpful, and my room was perfect.

The staff was amazing! Fred at the front desk made us feel at home the second we met him. There was an emergency and he let us check in early. The room was huge with an adjoining room and a balcony for the price it exceeded expectations. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this location to all who like five star treatment at a two star price!

This was a terrible experience and we will never return. After housekeeping, things went missing in our room. And when an emergency came up and we had to check out to leave early, the front desk clerk was passed out drunk in his office! I'm going to file an official report with best western to hopefully get our money back.

My daughter and I stayed here the first wk of May, 2015 and were very comfortable. The room was clean, the bath had plenty of hot water, good towels and toiletries, and was surprisingly quiet from traffic sounds for being so convenient to the highway. The pool and spa were operational and looked clean. Our room was at the top of a short staircase. There was a little people noise on one particular night (Cinco de Mayo), but other than that our room was quiet. The AC was adequate as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Valet parking, and a man at front desk instructed us on how to use Uber when we asked about it. We had everything we needed, and the price was fair. I would stay there again.

I had the worst experience there the guy in the front desk was rude always on his phone there was no manager on duty and he seem more intrested in his personal call.

I have to say this was a pretty good place for the price. The staff let me check in early.

Stayed here for a week. Free breakfast buffet in the mornings, free Wi-Fi and excellent staff. The pool is terribly small, but other than that, it was a great place to stay with reasonable rates. Would stay here again or recommend to others.

The rooms seemed just renovated and large. The staff was friendly. The person working in the mornings was very nice in helping us find our way to plan our day. The breakfast was OK, lots of pre-packaged things. The valet service was OK, sometimes I had to look for the guy.

Good hotel. Big room, big bathroom and comfortable shower. Parking and breakfast included is a +++. Staff is kind and smiley. Close to santa monica and beverly hills. Cheaper than others with less services. A good choice.
