The place is very nice, but the attention of the manager lousy. We spent 2 hours waiting on the sidewalk to give us the key in addition to not answering our calls.

Location couldn't be better. Lots of room, big windows with a view to the pier, small kitchen with all the basics. We also reserved a parking space around the corner. Only negative: small cockroaches in the apartment. Still, we would definitely come back again.

Its a good value for its price. Good location!

Interesting accommodation, I would stay here again. There was just confusion on getting the code I needed to open the door to get to our room. Great location.

Not really what was expected (pictures are amazing) but it was okay. Maybe it was just our room. But, we had a room with a great ocean view. Noisy but it was good enough for 3-4 nights. Had a good time. Location is great.

We totally love it. It's located near the Pier, great view, clean and the rooms and their interior are sooo awesome! But at the weekend nights it's really loud.

Great view. Kitchen area in room. No laundry facilities. Great location, almost on the beach. Cleaned daily. Next to a pizza place and a liquor store.

Location is excellent: it is situated by the beach and is across the street from the pier. It is also near many bars and is about a mile from main street. The room was clean and easily accommodated 6 people with the addition of a third bed. It was noisy because it is above a bar, but it was a non issue since we were out till after closing time. Very safe to do so also. Only complaint is the check in/ check out procedure. It's a hassle to pick up the parking badge from the room when there is no short term parking at the hotel and metered parking is scarce around the building. Otherwise, any questions and issues were handled via a simple text to management who responded promptly.

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. The only good thing about the hotel is the location, conviently located next to pier and promenade. Other then location this place is just an overpriced dirty hostel, there is no "luxury" at this business. The place is falling apart, the furniture stained with urine, and no amenities. We had a "kitchenette" if you can even call it that, it was held together by packing tape, and although we booked the room for 4 people, we were left with one bowl in the cabinet and only one chair at the table. On top of the already disgusting room we found a cockroach! I wondered how it got in and then remembered the cleaning crew would turn off the AC and open your windows while you were gone, but the windows had NO SCREENS! Sounds safe doesn't it? No screens, No elevator, no ammenities. After the awful stay the owner has ignored all of our requests for a refund, even though he had asked how he could make everything up to me and my family. Absolutely the most disappointing stay I've ever had in my life.

The only good thing is the location. The whole place is falling apart. The second flight of stairs is all warped and broken, watch your step. The kitchen is all held together with tape and the carpet is all stained and ripped in places. The bathroom was gross there was mold where the tub meets the tile and half of the toilet paper holder was broken off so they just shoved the roll on the remaining post, seriously a toilet paper holder is so cheap why wasn't it replaced. There was only a window AC unit that was from the 90s and did a horrible job. There was also no screens on the windows and the cleaners would leave them open each time infesting our room with insects. One day there was a TWO INCH LONG COCKROACH IN THE ROOM! And above all the staff was just rude when we asked questions. Do not stay here!

Had a great time here for a week long stay. Units have kitchenettes perfect for cooking/food. Location is unbelievable, right on the corner. The owner was very accommodating with any requests we had. Private entrance allows for privacy. Feels like a home away from home, the noise wasn't an issue during the week. Great price for the area. Will stay here again. Bonus that they accept pets.

The room is very close to the beach, it is also very close to the Santa Monica Promenade. Now onto the negatives: No instructions for arrival. There is no staff on the property, and there is no instruction of how to get into the loft without contacting the owner. No parking available, you have to park at a neighboring hotel for $33 per night. Air conditioner did not work. The towels had holes in them and we're cheap quality. Blinds were broken and lots of noise from the street and bars downstairs made it difficult to sleep. The furniture was ripped. For $230 per night the room felt like a glorified hostel, you might as well stay at the hostel around the corner. And the most important thing is there is nothing about this loft that is luxurious, luxury needs to be removed from the name.
