Wonderful owner. Excellent place to rest your head with great amenities. Walking distance to downtown.

What a great place to stay! Clean, nicely decorated rooms, a delicious breakfast and walking distance to downtown for a nice dinner or a cocktail. The Inn owner was very friendly and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. Don’t stay in a hotel! Stay here and enjoy the small town feel this Inn has to offer!

We stayed here last weekend and had a great time! It’s walking distance to downtown, comfortable, and very clean. The host is friendly and kind and she really makes it feel like home. The breakfast she made us was hot and delicious!

This is a home away from home, in a quaint, 1907 farmhouse. The owner, Tricia, both loves people, and respects boundaries, and will interact with you as much as you want. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights recently, while I was cleaning out my grandmother's home a couple blocks away. We are grateful that Poppy Sister Inn was a respite from the emotional chaos of that task. My husband was so comfortable, at one point he found himself getting up to go to the refrigerator for a snack, then realized he wasn't at home. We also hung out at the fire pit with newly found friends, drinking and laughing until 1am, and on more than one night I chatted with Tricia in her kitchen as she prepped the mornings breakfast. Tricia is a really good cook, and breakfasts often held us through lunch! The inn is within walking distance of downtown Lodi, with it's tasting rooms and breweries. It is immaculately clean, with a decor of vintage and antique collectibles and furnishings. The beds are on the softer side, with snuggly comforters and soft sheets, towels are fluffy, and drinking water is filtered. You do hear the train at night, which is normal for anywhere near the downtown area of Lodi, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend bringing ear plugs. Also, keep in mind, this is an old house, and it has wonderful old house charm, creaks and quirks. We'll definitely stay here again.

Clean and friendly. The room was great and I loved the claw foot tub. Very convenient location, just walk downtown. The breakfast was yummy!

Cozy, and cute! Loved hanging out by the fire pit and playing my guitar with my friends both old and new! Super close to downtown and WINE!

Great hosts, beautiful property and fantastic location within walking distance to downtown Lodi and the great Scone Bakery and coffee shop. Don’t hesitate to stay there next time you are in Lodi! Highly recommended.

Conveniently located near downtown but far enough to still get that "ahhhh" feeling of peace and quiet Tricia is a lovely hostess who makes you feel "at home" the second you walk in the door. Her smile is inviting and the conversation flows as if she is a longtime friend. Pluses:

This warm and inviting reflect the personality of its owner, Tricia. There are four bedrooms each with a private bath and all beautifully decorated. It is a short walk to shops and wine tasting rooms. I highly recommend the Poppy Sister Inn.
