They have good rates, somewhat unclean rooms (stained carpets, flotsam in my sheets, loose electrical plug outlets. ) But that’s not the real issue. The front desk staff member really made me feel unwelcome when she told me the morning coffee they put out was for other people. As I was pouring myself a cup. There was no sign saying it was for a group. So I assumed it was a perk for paying overnight guests. Like me. She was looking at me like I was a thief. If you put coffee in a lobby, with no sign, people will think it’s an amenity. Needless to say, I won’t be hurrying back.

I had to have to ask for toilet paper towels for bathing. The refriderator was broken so I couldn't cool my drinks. So you be the judge. Too high of a price for this area. I was concerned about the safety of my vehicle and worried it could get broken into.

Ok only go to this place if you want the police harassing you and to be surrounded by meth heads and prostitutes. Crazy this hotel was turning it around and getting a better clientele, but no more. Back to a dangerous place to stay. And the police are always there and they will stop and hassle anyone and everyone! So be prepared if you stay here to be treated like a criminal!

The hotel is nice and clean and very affordable. Here is the problem: the room that I was given was in a seperate building 5 minutes away from the building where the reception is located. The room key was not working, 3 times I had to go back and forth to find out that the lock is out of order.

Great location. Rooms are ok, but the whole place is in a desperate need for renovation. Carpets are filthy, if you step on them barefeet you will definitely leave black tracks in the bathtub. Strange people constantly loiter around hotel property and cigarette butts are everywhere.

Excellent rooms and attention to the public.

Was there briefly for a work function. Not my cup of tea. Staff is very nice and helpful though, and rooms are clean.

Room was clean, staff was nice, quick access to the 5 and a Dennys right next door.

Typical Motel. Rooms are clean. Good for the whole family you can bring the kids. Plenty of rooms. Fairly reasonably priced. Denny's restaurant is right next door as well as Wendy's across the street for a quick bite.

Quiet. Cozy. Small refrigerator and microwave. Dogs are allowed with service papers at check in. Two pools. Guest laundry. Maid service was everyday.

Pretty alright. Nice pool but it was too cold for me to try swimming. My room didn't have hot water in the shower tho. Like ever. But the sink did.

Outside the place looks run down but inside its not too shabby its clean and has everything you need in a 2 to a 3 star hotel. And front desk customer service is great. Its next to Denny's so you can alway eat food at what ever time you want. And its next to gas station for late night snacks and ciggeretes.

No frills hotel with nice towels. Quiet rooms. Nice roses in interior courtyard landscaping by larger pool. Stained linens, marginal cleanliness. Difficult to avoid smokers. Lots of people "hanging" around, possible long term tenants.

Horrible place they don't change the sheets. The sheets are old and stained. Rooms are super dirty TV didn't work. Beds have broken springs. Worst experience ever!

Well Priced, Conveniently Located, And Good Room Sizes And Service.

After spending 3 nights with the in-laws it was great to have a separate space. The shower wasn't the cleanest and the TV didn't work but it was really nice to have a room on short notice.

UPDATE: December 23-25, 2017 My family and I returned to this hotel to give it another try cuz you honestly can’t beat the price. We were so excited when we entered our room and it smelt clean, it looked clean. It was clean! We began getting ready for our day and as I was doing my make up a little cockroach ran across the bathroom counter. Killed it and continued getting ready. Just before we were leaving my dog (who is my husbands service dog) began freaking out. He had caught a cockroach and killed it. Attached is the picture. The sink was extremely clogged and we noticed the cockroaches coming from the drains. We were barely in the room thankfully. We just slept there. Upon check out I showed the front desk the picture of the cockroach and it didn’t seem like a very big deal to her. She asked me why I hadn’t showed her when I first saw it. I explained I was out with my family celebrating Christmas and didn’t really have the time. Needless to say, regardless of the great price, we will not give this a third shot as it is 100% a health hazard. May 2017 You get what you pay for. First the good. Parking wasn't awful. Fridge and microwave in the room. And the TV had lots of channels. Now the bad. The customer service was horrible. If you want to call them, they will not answer and if they do, they pick up and hang up or have you on hold forever. There was mold in the bathrooms. Both on the ceiling and in the lining of the tub.

Rooms are okay. Internet is slow and the signal is spotty. It does have a pool, but you will make friends. If cheap and simple is what you're looking for, this is the place.

Excellent prices and good rooms. Priceline and Key In are an amazing combo!

The police presence is a little too much in my opinion, but hey, who am I to say what the right and wrong amount of cops is enough to keep our families safe? Coming from a Convict, like myself, that has done more than one stint in state penitentiaries and county jails, I'd have to say as few as possible of course. But we all know that would never fly ✈. Other than my extra long police rant, which seems like the usual theme of my comments, the place is nice and quiet, has decent parking, and a freaking Denny's next door to it! What else could you ask for?

It is a despicable dump riddled with seedy characters and judging by the police presence, a popular hang out for frugal addicts. Rooms are dirty, frugal, ugly, old and not suitable for anyone who desires safety and cleanliness.

The rooms have a lot of smell of cigars.

It was terrible! The bed spread was worn down, there were dents in the wall, the bathroom was very dirty and gross, and everything looked way different than the pictures! I would not recommend staying here unless you're looking for somewhere to waste your money.

My daughter booked a room for 2 nights so she could attend a training seminar. Her mistake was probably booking on Priceline which doesn't disclose the hotel until after booking. The motel was very unclean. The exterior had all sorts of people "hanging out" several people were sleeping in the open air halls in the mornings. Two police cars showed up in front around 9 pm and were interrogating one of the girls who was hanging out there. The shower had mildew growing on walls and ceiling. The windows were one big thick window that don't open. Also the 5 freeway is noisy for rooms facing it.

Location is okay, Irvine/Tustin is a safe and clean area. Reception people are very nice and helpful. The rooms aren't​ bad, does look like an old hotel and the hotel appears to do short-term rentals. The TV does cut in and out and turns on by itself. It is a quite neighborhood close to shopping centres.

The first room I got was stinking of cigarette. The second to humanity.

It is a place with very friendly staff and ready for any need and very clean. Enjoyable and affordable to budgets.

If you need a shower and a bed to sleep on, this place does the job. The lady at the front desk was friendly. The location is perfect right next to the highway and walking distance to Dennys, wendys, and starbucks. I paid $73 for a Thursday night. You get what you pay for, so don't expect a Hilton hotel here. But hey, at least no bed bugs right? Reading these past reviews, you would have to be an uptight scared person if you think the surrounding area is scary. It's fine. It's a motel. You will live.

The room itself is pretty decent and clean nothing special but it was definitely clean the hotel itself was nice and clean on the outside the environment and Ambiance was nice and relaxing. The only downfall I would say is that the ice machine is broken and it seems that they have a pretty regular crowd that stays there on a weekly basis that seems to be somewhat shady. Although I shouldn't really say that because I has no interaction with anyone so I really wouldn't know…

For the price you cannot beat it, I was actually very impressed with the room. It was fairly clean and although I didnt see any bugs in the room, HOWEVER, this place is INFESTED with the "one timers" all night long. They just sit in the parking lot creaping and stop every person they see. We stayed for 2 nights and both nights it was the same exact cops, in the ssme exact cruisers, doing the same exact thing! My suggestion is stay in the room from 11:30pm until 9:00am unless you like being messed with by the police.

Easy access from the highway. A Dennys in walking distance from hotel was a plus. Staff super nice. Just bring your own pillow… theirs are very thin.

It was a simple hotel. Nothing over the top and definitely not a run down hotel. The tenants at the hotel are questionable, but other than that of you're looking for a place to crash for one night, that place is fine.

Absolutely disgusting! Not worth the $90 a night. Surrounding area is quite scary and definitely wouldn't go out at night. It looks as though people are living here and possibly illegal activities taking place. There is gang graffiti on the side of the building. This is far from an Inn or Suites. It's a dumpy, dated, cigarette smokey, motel. Don't waste your money!

This hotel is trash. I'll get to the disgusting room, but lets start from the beginning… We booked a room for the 26th and they fucked it up and booked it for April 10th instead… How does that even happen? Then they spent half an hour trying to fix it only to tell me that I havd to go online and cancel it myself and I had to buy another room for that day for $30 more… Now for the actually room. Our NON-SMOKING room smelled like smoke and piss! Half the lights didnt work and the bathtub had crap all over it! I got this piece of crap for $90! I want my money back!

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Rooms look like they've been renovated recently. Right off of the 5, so the location is quite convienant.

I've stayed at the Key Inn in both for trips to Disneyland (only a quick freeway drive away and much cheaper than the hotels nearer to the park) and alot more after moving to California while I'm looking for an apartment. They really make me feel at home which is important to me wherever I stay. I'd stay here again and again.

Not much to say really. I was at the Key Inn for a social event. I noticed that the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite. Overall the Key Inn is a place I would recommend.

Police are there constantly, and several vehicles were broken into. I was woken up at about 5 in the morning with Police Vehicles surrounding one of the units and they all had guns out. They arrested a lot of people and then left.

The location is very easy to get to, right off the freeway! I had two twins in my room which was perfect since I went with my brother. Bathtubs were a bit small but the customer care was great. Would recommend for parties of 2 or less.
