We stayed in Mission Suits in October, 2020. Extremely incompetent and rude staff, the management was not very helpful either.

Nice and quiet. Comfortable. Restaurant/bar across at the Spa is also very good.

Really nice, clean hotel. Staff was super helpful and friendly. They have a great breakfast and have a good variety of food items. My kids and I had an amazing stay.

I like stay to stay at the Ayres because it's very conveniently located near Saddleback Church. Many of my fellow colleagues stay at the Ayres during the annual Celebrate Recovery Summit. It's a great way to connect with them before the conference gets in full gear. I'm thankful for the individual refrigerators in the rooms as well and enjoy using the hot-tub and pool in the evenings as our schedules allow.

The room we were in was a double queen. The rooms are spacious and the staff extremely courteous. There is a small pool on site and the hotel is near the mountains. It is a bit far from touristy locations but as we were staying here to visit family it was perfect. If you don't mind a 20+ minute drive to touristy spots then I highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay in your beautiful hotel while we were down for the CR Summit and look forward for next year. I want to thank Nicole and I can't remember the the gentleman's name in the suit, that we're so quick in finding us another room with double beds when our air conditioner did not work in our first room 122, we then were offered room 203 closest to the elevator which was a perfect location due too 2 of us ladies having problems walking distances without being in pain. I also would like to thank Sylvia and Miguel in the little restaurant for feeding us and Maria our Guest room attendant for keeping our beds made up and clean. I look forward to staying with you next year for West Coast Celebrate Recovery 2019 Summit.

I would have given a 3 from the moment I called in to make my reservation because the two times I connected with customer service I felt like I was rushed by the two different staff who answered my call. However, the staff who greeted us and the GM who processed our check out made up for the lack of customer service provided to me over the phone. The room was clean and thanks to Aracely for that. Silvia from the kitchen for the first 2 days’ breakfast was very very nice and communicative. Not so much so with Miguel. Cable selection can be upgraded.

Family friendly! Amazing place to stay with your love ones:). I can't wait to go back with family. Ayres is a place where unforgettable memories are born:)

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ayres Suites Mission Viejo. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious (high ceilings, too) and the breakfast was very nice. The eggs, hash browns and meats were hot and fresh and there were many other food choices from cereal and muffins to fresh fruit and oatmeal. There was good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the bath. The fitness center was also clean and in good repair, but a little warm. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Facilities were neat and clean and nice to be able to use Spa facility restaurant and lounge. My hotel room had a musty smell that never went away — we had to buy Febreeze and try to freshen the room. We talked to the General Manager about replacing a light bulb over the kitchen sink area but no one ever came to replace it; room was somewhat dark and low lit.

The restaurant had the worst service and that was before it got busy. Food was good but the martini I had the olive juice tasted musty and old and I switched to the house cab and ended up with a lot of sediment in my mouth. Had to get my own linens for the pull out couch and the couch is a twin size for your info. Also a lot of gross debris when I made bed… not sure if it came from sheets or bed but this is not an 8.5 star hotel. I’m not picky either. Really disappointed.

WE stay at the Ayres every time we visit Mission Viejo. The rooms are especially nice and very clean. The hotel staff have an air of sophistication not found in most facilities today. We love the location, close to our family. Its also nice to have free parking and the breakfast is always adequate. And I think its a great value for the CA area. We will be back again.

Room was very clean, and well appointed. Cafeteria setting needs a bit of work. The tables are very small, like in a bistro. The problem were the chairs. Several of them have lost their cushioning, and were uncomfortable. Too many chairs and tables in such a small eating area when you have a large group of people. Otherwise, all was good. My stay was so short… but it was a good experience overall. Actually, my husband and I are planning on going back to that area, and will definitely stay with you again.

Always a pleasure staying at Ayres. Only issue was my TV did not work. Not a problem as I had my computer. Staff is always smiling and friendly!

Excellent hotel! It was convenient to family and friends who live in the area. The cookies in the evening and the wine and beer reception and the fruit in the lobby were very pleasant surprises! Breakfast was good. The service from the front desk, the room attendants, the breakfast and wine reception personnel was exceptional! Loved everything about this place… one of the best I've stayed at while traveling!

This is a great hotel with a wonderful complimentary breakfast. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean! Everyone that I encountered on my stay was very friendly and accommodating. I will be staying again!

Our stay was fantastic. The only issue we had was the vanity floor was sticky, as if something was spilled and not mopped up. We wiped it up and it went away. It kind of made me wonder about the things that could not be seen being clean. Other than that every thing was great. It was the best breakfast at a breakfast included hotel that I have ever seen. The pool was beautiful and very well kept. All of the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. We were there to attend a funeral and we needed a quiet peaceful calming atmosphere and we got exactly that. I would certainly stay there again.

We gathered at this marvelous hotel for a family wedding. My siblings and I enjoyed our morning coffee by the fire — it was quiet, cozy, and private enough for our conversations. The staff pampered us with kindness, information about local walking paths, and opened up the breakfast room so we could watch a favorite NCAA team play basketball. The location is perfect, the rooms and beds so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a very good Hotel. There is laundry area equipped with a dryer.

The Ayer Hotels are a cut above in service and decor. It has a nice ambience about the decor and rooms. The food service area is always clean and again a nice decor which adds to the "good" feeling about where your staying. It's prestige at a comfortable price. A commercial stay without a commercial feeling. We've enjoyed stays at the Laguna Woods, Mission Viejo, Allegretto Vineyards — Paso Robles, and Santa Ana facilities. Always a nice experience!

The hotel was incredible for after or wedding. We had gone out to bars after with friends and upon arriving the front desk had our key ready to go for the bride and Groom still dressed at 1am! They made it so easy to just grab it and go straight to bed! And they extended our checkout time so we could sleep off the good times had the night before. It was amazing service at an amazing price!

My favorite hotel to stay in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. I have choices of other hotels that are more convenient and closer to where I need to be but I always try to stay at Ayres. Clean, big, clean and super friendly. Breakfast are great. Sometimes they have early evening drinks. Good internet. Comfortable and clean furnishings. Soft towels. The pool and sauna are always nice. Great value. I highly recommend to single business travelers or and traveling families.

This is our favorite place to stay when we are in Orange County. Everything here scores 10+ in our books — — professional, courteous and friendly staff, good housekeeping, clean, attractive facilities, and all of the extra perks of apples, cookies, breakfast AND dinner make this a wonderful property. The location is great, also, with the Toll Road adjacent to the hotel. I could keep going on and on about ALL of the positives. Please thank the staff for their kind and professional assistance while we were there — — morning, afternoon, and evening staff — all great people who were very helpful, kind, and exceedingly professional.

I love the Ayres, the hotel staff is always friendly and professional. It is in an excellent location for those in the area as it is close to the 241 toll road with dining options onsite and nearby. I highly recommend this hotel and will continue to come here when I am in the area.

The facilities are very nice. We stayed there at the suggestion of a relative who lives across the street. Our only complaint is the distance of our room to the pool and our particular room smelled bad. Like a wet dog. Enjoyed the pool and exercise room very much and also the made to order breakfast. Many breakfast selections and we didn't go away hungry.

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was a nice included option. It would be helpful if the rooms had a safe. This is standard in 99% of the hotels I visit so surprised there wasn't one here. I would stay here again.

Very warm and welcoming front desk crew. We so enjoyed having the breakfast served and prepared each day. It was a very special touch having the afternoon wine, etc available. I enjoyed the fresh green apples as I was short on time one day and did not do breakfast, so grabbed an apple and that was a filling lunch. The bed was little to hard for me but otherwise, the whole setup was great. We enjoyed the pool with our grandchildren and of course, they were the reason we were there.

We stayed here recently due to a water leak in our condo. We live rather close to this hotel and we're quite pleased with it! The lobby was very well decorated, staff was very nice and helpful and our room was very clean and comfortable. It's nice to know that such a nice, clean hotel is close to our home for emergency purposes or out of town guests!

Everything was exceptional. The staff provided accurate directions to places around the area. They were very knowledgeable. The breakfast was also exceptional for a hotel breakfast. We enjoyed our relaxed breakfast time.

High expectations unfounded — — This hotel came recommended by our corporate attorney. I decided to check it out to see if we would include it for our corporate guests. After a 5 hour drive, I didn't get the "warm and fuzzy" feeling from the staff typical of high quality establishments. To top it off, there were no toiletries in the room, and delivery of said articles wasn't timely at all. Comfortable room, decent facilities, but customer service could use a big boost. I have decided against choosing this hotel for our corporate guests.

Ayers Suites is always my first choice when visiting family in Rancho Santa Margarita. There are other accommodations available but Ayers is the most convenient and comfortable.

WE Love this hotel. When ever we have a family get together, we always come here to stay. We have for the last 6yrs. My only, and I mean only issue I have is the breakfast. I have said this before, you can have what you already serve, but I feel it needs to be changed up. Biscuts and sausage gravy. PLEASE! Have a sign that says the cook will make you a fried egg or a pancake or waffle upon request. There is nothing posted. You have to ask and than you NEVER get a smile or a good morning at all. You feel like you are putting him out. You can never serve yourself. If you ask for more bacon, the cook looks at you strange. If I want 6 pieces of bacon give me 6. It has been the same menu for years! Needs a change up. Have the same items, but add something new each morning. I am a darn good cook, I will come and do it for him. I always feel like he is put out. One more thing, it is spring have some berries on the menu. Strawberrys, rasberrys, black berries, blue berries. Not just melons! These are some very simple things to change that would increase the breakfast fun!

This lovely boutique hotel served our needs perfectly. It's very conveniently located right off the toll road. It's nice to look at from the outside. Inside the decor and ammenities are lovely. The staff was polite and helpful and friendly. We stayed there 3 times in one week due to a death in the family, and our experience was excellent. I think this is a great value. Highly recommend.

Staff is always positive, friendly, and mindful that your a traveler. Rooms, bathroom, and entire motel is clean, clean, clean. 2 choices of pillow types and the shower heads mounted high to accommodate my height. Why stay anywhere else. It's the best value anywhere.

Stuck here for 1 more night omg asked for a different room since the smell of animal urine is burning my eyes no luck. They sprayed something in here where it's hard to breathe so a/c is blasting. This place is terrible. To bad I had to pre-pay and the desk clerk wouldn't refund tomorrow. Beware people!

Great stay — hotel is charming, furnishings are superb, hot breakfast, hot jacuzzi were a couple of treats not always found in hotel services! We needed to check in early and staff accommodated us wonderfully. Food in the evening was a surprise treat.

I stay in Orange County, CA frequently and this is my goto hotel. Located off the 241, my stay is always comfortable and quiet. They have a great lobby with a fire going this time of year, a large eating area, laundry on the third floor, small gym on the 2nd floor, and outdoor pool and hottub. Every room has free Wi-Fi (which works) and wired Ethernet (which works even better), good lighting, a desk, bar, mini-fridge, microwave, breakfast table, and either a king bed with sofa/coffee table or two queens, These are big rooms. Showers and toilets were recently replaced with low-flow versions due to CA drought with the resulting issues, but a necessary component today. You can also use the spa, restaurant, and larger gym next door at the Ayres Hotel and Spa. Rooms and public spaces are kept clean, well maintained and appointed with nice decorative touches. Some oddities about this property are that the elevator is one end of the building, so you can walk a long way to your room, and the stairs take you outside with no first floor access so trips up and down require the elevator. Because they don't have a restaurant, they serve free full hot breakfast every day and happy hour meal/drinks M-Th evenings, with apples and cookies every evening at the front desk. The staff have been consistently great over my long stays here, the rooms quiet, the beds comfortable, and the room temperature good. Problems are few and fixed immediately.

Well all I can say is if you haven't stayed at the Ayres you haven't experienced hospitality the hotel itself makes you feel like OMG this place is beautiful and I 'am going to have a relaxing good time the staff have your keys ready before you know it your already in your comfort zone the rooms are huge and mattress are top of the line they have breakfast in which you can smell the aroma of bacon fresh coffee soon as you enter the lobby they have food for anyone's diet trust me i'm type 2 diabetic if you like Executive Chef Miguel will cook to order a omeltte or egg whites the front desk GM Dean and staff are incredible Monique and I have come here for years it gets better with time so for business or just date night try the Ayres Mission Viejo Thanks guys from Vince & Monique Bradford UPS.

From the moment we arrived at the reception desk to check-in through check-out, the staff was outstanding in courtesy, efficiency and overall service. Our room was clean and comfortable — we couldn't ask for anything more. The only deficiency was that a shower cap was not placed in the room but was remedied by asking for one at the reception desk.

I am always greeted with a smile and a quick check-in. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable. I enjoy the morning breakfast and occasionally make it back after work to enjoy appetizers and a glass of wine. You never know who you might run into. The Ayers MV staff care for the guests and make comfort a priority. GM Dean Brittles practices excellent management skills and his staff responds appropriately.

I provided my experience in the section above. 1. Overcharge by $200 that nobody has assisted to correct 2. Smoke alarm incident because the heater was so dusty that the dust set the smoke alarm off. 3. Mold in the bathroom 4. Housekeeping staff work station was right across from my room but staff found no need to be quiet EVERY MORNING. They were literally YELLING at each other outside my room. 5. I was told I would have a shuttle to my conference at Saddleback, after arriving, I learned that the shuttle does not go the 1.5 miles down he road. I had to rent a car. 6. The check in staff barely said 2 words and refused to bring a blanket to my freezing room that could not be heated without setting off the smoke alarm. 7. The front desk staff upon leaving did not seem to care that I was charged $200 too much Please see confirmation code 255520873 for $644.84 and my final payment was $861.24. Please fix asap.

I felt like I was being fumigated by the really pervasive air 'freshener' that was extremely toxic that hit me as soon as I entered the lobby, and when I complained to the manager I got a flippant response. I finally couldn't take it anymore and called from my room to ask if perhaps there was another area/floor that it was less pervasive, they put me in a room that actually smelled like something had died and they couldn't find it! I kid you not! Management needs the boot!

It was our wedding night and check in at midnight was simple and easy. Thank you. When we arrived to our room. The smoke detector was chirping. Right away we got assistance to remove but we had to do it ourselves as maintenance was not around. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We got upgraded to a bigger room at no additional charge, which was nice! The overall experience was great. Breakfast in the morning was good. The hotel should offer "TO GO" containers however so they can go down and bring back to room without it being ice cold when it arrives. It was a long walk from downstairs to our particular room at end of hall. I would have paid extra to have it delivered :) Though it was NICE to have it included in our room charge.

The hotel is well maintained, our room was clean, and the staff friendly/helpful. Upon check in, the front desk upgraded us due to our trying experience with our arrival into Southern California (scheduled to fly into John Wayne airport, and diverted to LAX) which was nice — added a jetted tub to our stay. The room had a ceiling fan in addition to the air condition unit which was a nice extra. The hotel was off the beaten track which resulted in quiet nights of sleep. The only reason I did not give a five (5) star is because the bed is advertised as being pillow topped (both sides). If it is, may be time to flip the mattress because it was not as soft as a typical pillow top bed. We took advantage of the evening social one evening before meeting up with family for dinner. In addition to the two (2) cocktails provided free, there was a variety of food that exceeded the typical snacks — included hot food (mandarin chicken with steamed rice) and some salads, as well as, chips with salsa and/or cheese dip. Missed breakfast our first morning, and only brought a bagel to the room the day we checked out. There was eggs and bacon plus fruit, yogurt, etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again if/when traveling to the area.

We checked in for my brother's wedding, he had reserved a book of rooms for our stay. We called to make a reservation and it was very easy and quick. Actually cost of the room and the discount price wasn't huge but was nice to get a little discount. We checked in and it was pretty fast, room was great and in good condition and smelled very nice. They spa and stay was nice, even turned the AC and TV on briefly.

I stayed in ayres suites severals times during my business trips. I normally don't wright reviews but with the quality of service I was offered at ayers hotels I just want to share my experience with others. This place offers pretty much everything (except dinner after 10 PM). The rooms are awesomely decorated and it looks almost as 5 stars. Front desk service is very helpful and they always make sure your are taken care off. I have stayed in several different hotels and this is so far my best spot in Irvine. Hope you guys found this helpfull.

I love staying here with my daughter. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I do wish though that both buildings had a chef/cook in the morning ready to make eggs the way I want them. The two different Wi-Fi signals between the two buildings can make for some unnecessary troubleshooting.

Great staff from top to bottom! Serve good breakfast and dinner Sunday through Friday. I actually had some of the best Carnitas tacos last, and I am picky when it comes to my tacos. Only thing you might have an issue with is room location. Elevators, laundry, vending etc… are all on the nearest side of the lobby. We are currently experiencing hot weather and the rooms facing east get pounded all day by the sun, and the A / C in my room at least is less than desirable. I have stayed at all the hotels in the surrounding area this place is the best by far in my opinion. Overall I give them 4.5 stars. Always ways to improve!

New, clean, large rooms. Great amenities. Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is the location is quite remote, but free parking is included.

Friendly staff from dining area to housekeeping to front desk and all points in between. Clean, beautiful, convenient, safe! Loved it. They hosted a conference for our group recently. The great food served helped cut down on expenses and provided several great meals for us. Thank you Ayres for such great service.

Here for a week. Very reasonable price. Great location to get to San Diego and Anaheim. A little far from L. A. But can do the drive in an hour. We went for vacation and the kids had a blast.

Welcome to the Travelodge of the Ayres chain. Having stayed in Manhatten Beach (their probably 4-star equivalent) and after a reasonable stay in their airport noised Costa Mesa location, I needed a place in south county and went to Mission Viejo. First, prepare for road noise from the 241 all night. Then be ready for along commute in any direction to get to the nearest connubation. Ayres prides itself on breakfasts, but here every morning you get dry tired scarmbled eggs, greasy hash browned potatoes and equally dry greasy sausages. If you ask a chef (with tip in hand) to make you eggs over easy, you get a grumpy snort and 10 minutes before it is done, all without smile. Junior suite equivalent room is expensive at $109 and big, but plain complete with uncomfortable couch. Suggest for $109 there are many better choices closer to the ocean and the I5. Ayres should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid this one.
