Not only are Villa Royale's grounds drop-dead beautiful, the rooms are beyond comfortable and convenient, the staff incredibly sweet and accommodating, and the on-site restaurant, Del Rey, a dining star. Absolutely, we'll be back! ❤

This is the spot. As frequent travelers we know what we want in our accommodations. Villa Royale was everything we look for, and more. Great ambiance, wonderful staff and everything you could want just a short stroll from your door. There was four of us in our group and I can say that all eight thumbs were way up… coulda called it!

Boutique hotel. Fabulous decor and excellent service. Pool bar drinks and light bites were fantastic. Restaurant also an enjoyable experience. Intimate setting. I can't wait to return.

They’ve done a marvelous job of freshening and updating without losing that historical nature. Nothing like it in PS. Loved it.

Let me start out by saying that this is the 4th time we’ve stayed here and my parents have been staying here on their anniversary for the last 10 years. In the past, we have always enjoyed our time here with nice accommodations, good food, and a nice, helpful staff. However, that being said, our last visit here (2/18-2/20) was ruined by an extremely rude, bitter old lady who worked behind the bar. We didn’t catch her name but to make a long story short: we had dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant, Europa at 6:30, so the five of us (myself, my wife, my parents, and our 4 yr old daughter) stopped by the restaurant bar for a drink before dinner, my daughter had juice of course. When we got there, no one was behind the bar to help us, but finally a grizzled, grumpy lady appeared who seemed to be drunk. She didn’t greet us or say a word, but just stared at us. I finally said “Are you the bartender”, and she responded curtly, “No, I’m just talking to you. ” Wow, ok — Not off to a good start. We ordered our drinks and were having a good time talking and laughing, then after 5 minutes, the old lady came up and said to my mom “you’re going to have to leave; your grand-daughter is too loud. ” Mind you, she wasn’t loud at all; we were much louder, and more importantly, THERE WAS NOT ONE OTHER PERSON IN THE BAR! Luckily I didn’t hear her say this, or I would have exchanged words with her. My mom was so appalled and shocked she didn’t know how to respond.

Very cozy, romantic with private outdoor seating. Offers tapas, cocktails, wine and a very nice menu selection. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with trees, and flowering plants; very romantic for a long stay, overnight or drop in for a cocktail & appetizer.

Cozy hotel with nice spacious rooms. Pool is nice. Located right across the street from the Ace Hotel.

I came to this place with my 11 year old daughter for a Labor Day weekend getaway. It was very peaceful. I was over powered by the uniqueness of the grounds, so different! Behind the "VR" is an unimaginable paradise! The down side, they wanted a 100.00 deposit for incidentals but on entrance to the first day of stay my toilet didn't flush (but they called maintenence right away), dead water bugs were on the floor (my daughter and I don't like them) and the frig didn't work all weekend. However, these didn't hamper the stay. We will be back! My daughter says it's our little getaway :)

The Villa Royale Inn was a perfect place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway weekend. The staff is friendly and the service was great! Our room was right by a pool, had a comfortable bed and plenty of space. I would highly recommend this hotel and will most likely return as a guest.

If you like to relax in Palm spring you need to stay here this place it's our 5 star I will come back soon.

This hotel and the restaurant located on the premises definitely deserve a 5 star. It's the most unique place in the area. If you want cheap, run of the mill, typical place, then this is not for you. BUT if you want special, historic, character, romance, and something to make an impression, then definitely stay here and try the restaurant. Can't wait to be back there for Valentine's Day.

Loved it. Loved the restaurant there. Jacuzzi right outside my room. Lush landscaping with beautiful gardens every where. Nice inside. Friendly staff.

If you like unique and quaint this is your spot. If you are looking for upscale and formal, you should probably look elsewhere.

This place is incredibly gorgeous! I stayed for a day/night and had just a wonderful time. Its location is perfect too. Far enough where it's quite from everything going on the main strip, but close enough should you want to head out and have a nice dinner. Plus, the pool is heated, and the pool and spa are open 24 hrs! Definitely staying here again soon. Big bang for your buck.

My husband and I have stayed at the Villa Royale Inn many times since our first trip in 1999, and we have enjoyed ourselves each and every time. The entire place is beautiful but the main pool is our favorite. We've stayed in several different rooms and each one is unique. Not much has changed since our first trip, except for updates to the furnishings. The service is always exceptional. We just got back from a weekend there — thanks again for a great visit.
