The Sparrow lodge is a tranquil and peaceful place to relax eat and sleep in those wonderful rooms The pool was fabulous with hot tub as well or go around the south end and lay in the hammock and listen to fountain as you drift off to sleep or read a book Had great time there❤️good job guys Your place is worth the drive from anywhere.

The atmosphere is superb, no children allowed 21 and over only. The service here is a 5 star+

The most luxurious and memorable hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Reminds me of stone cottages in Italy. Intricate cedar, each room is like a cabin, blissfully quiet, incredible privacy and luxury.

Natural and relaxed atmosphere. Contemporary art in breakfast nook and in rooms as well. Beautiful orange trees. Quite different in spirit from many in Palm Springs. We loved it.

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and loved it. It has a very intimate, cozy feel. The hotel rooms are really cool, but more like rustic cabins to some extent. No TV, no phone, no alarm clock. You kind of need to be an unfussy traveler when it comes to the amenities, and yet if you are fussy about the aesthetics of where you stay, this place will be perfect for you. The guest service was excellent, the food was decent and the couples massage in the massage tent was heavenly. I do wish they served hard liquor at the bar, not just beer and wine.

This place is very nice. It's very cool inside the prices are affordable. Food is very good. The beer hit the spot after being in the heat all day. It was kid friendly. And yes there is out side seating.

Dropped in for lunch and toured a room. The food was awesome. The ham melt is a must. They’ll bake you some cookies to order. The staff was super friendly. And we met some interesting people as we ate lunch. A very cool place.

We are local Palm Springs residents and went to Sparrows Lodge specifically to have lunch there. The reason we did so was because Sparrows Lodge participated in the "Dining Out for Life" campaign. They donated 100% of their receipts for all lunches served this day to the Desert AIDS Project. They are to be commended for this generous gesture.

The Sparrow Lodge is a great relaxation destination. Upon check in, we were greeted with welcome sangrias. You have to go and experience it for yourself. Highy recommend you will not be disappointed. Great host great atmosphere great people. Everyone at the lodge feels like family including other guest. Very respectful. A must in palm springs.

Went for lunch, excellent service and food , relaxing atmosphere, not rushed, beautiful facility off the beaten path.

I really wanted to like this place but it's not for me for the price. Reasons: 1. They have almost no accommodation for folks with a dairy allergy. When in discussion with a man in a hat at the front desk about attending the dinner they throw on Saturdays and I was simply told "oh, everything is made with butter… " My three friends and I had to eat out because they wouldn't make something for me without dairy. I hate complaining about this stuff but for the price I would assume there would be some kind of dietary accommodation. 2. The room feels unfriendly and seems designed to not spend time in. Prison type concrete shower and water trough bathtub weren't comfortable… there is a big rock wall in the middle of the room and the rooms are dark as well. I'm pretty clumsy so it's kind of a sharp den of things that cause someone like me injury. The pool was nice and usually busy and it was nice to have a private outdoor space behind our room. It was also nice to not have kids around, but to me this place is overpriced for what it is.

I have been wanting to stay at the Sparrows for a couple of years now and after finally doing so, I can say it was everything I hoped for. Every detail of the property is charming and the service from the staff was among the best we've ever experienced. My husband and I were visiting on our babymoon and opted for the couples massage one morning. The team that took care of us were a husband/wife team who were amazing. Will definitely be going back to this spot as it's now one of my favorites. Thank you team Sparrows for such an amazing stay!

Lunch was excellent and the ambiance is lovely. I hate to be such a tourist but I couldn't stop taking pictures. So cute and hip!

Sublime perfection. More like staying at your uncle’s über-cool desert barn sprawl, spiffed up in industrial barn chic and (! ) oriental zen than a hotel. Lovingly maintained grounds studded with citrus trees, herb gardens, pool, spa, and a fire pit. No valet, no reception (you sort of wander into the property past cozy fireside/library seating), no TVs, phones or mini bars nor all of their accompanying homogenized pastel blandness. A place to get away, hang out, run into interesting people from all over the world seeking the non-ordinary, stare into the fire, sit beneath orange trees and breathe them in, be lazy poolside. Lovingly curated simple menu of wine drinks and generous, delicious lunches prepared with the garden’s own herbs. A myriad, tiny things done right: flashlights in the rooms for when it’s dark, Cote de Bastilde toiletries, rain showers, dimmers on lighting, blankets at the outdoor areas, winsome art poised just-so… 20 rooms, have stayed in 2, love them both, plan to stay in them all :-) Oases with private, verdant patios. A place that seems to be a calling for those who have conceived of it. It’s as if those of us tired of the dreary sameness of impersonal predictability, went and created the kind of place they wish they could get away to :-) Smudging! They smudge sage throughout the day, its cleansing properties perfuming the desert air. A marvel.

What a wonderful surprise. I felt like I was in a mountain retreat when I walked through their beautiful front entrance that just happened to have a beautifully lit fireplace and two comfortable leather chairs to take it in while waiting for a companion to check in or maybe an uber after a beautiful dinner. Once you walk through the entrance you'll find yourself walking along side a long pool that's lit-up and at the far end had a cascading waterfall that has a fireplace behind it. I loved that whole feature. It was very calming and added to the overall serenity of the grounds. Once you pass that… you are greeted by an old time farm house barn. With vaulted ceilings and a wood bar… You could really get into the outdoorsy/mountain hideaway feeling. There were two communal tables beautifully set for a party of maybe 30 people and adorned with fresh table arrangements. The bar had complimentary champagne upon arrival which most peopled took advantage of and once seated the chef came out and greeted everyone and laid out the night's menu. The food was outstanding. There wasn't a thing I'd change about the set menu. In fact I was glad to partake. Overall the night was magical. I'm definitely coming back for another night with freinds. Love this place.

While we stayed at their sister property, Holiday House, we did go to the Saturday Night swimmer at Sparrows. We loved the dinner and the property is amazing. We will need to try and stay here next time.

Amazing boutique hotel, very peaceful and relaxing. Jackie smudges the entire grounds, so there's a lovely sage scent everywhere. Hot tub, heated pool, amazing mountain views. No TVs, which is a plus in a honeymoon situation. We'll be coming back.

I paid 550$/night for the studio "luxury" lodge that has zero luxury. I respect the concept, but NOT for 550$. The room Was on the street side where you can hear the cars and trucks all night sleeping in a "queen" bed NOT king!. No valet. No administration (try requesting something and you'll get a rude answer from a teenage staff). No tv. No mini bar. No fridge. No safe. No robes. No fire pit. No fireplace and NO BREAKFAST! You get served bread and butter and jam! And definitely they refused to give me late check out on a Sunday! 550$? For what?

It's 5 stars all the way simply the best spot. If you gave this place a bad review then I feel sorry for you and the life that you live. If you want to relax and enjoy your life go to The Sparrows Lodge.

Beautiful and relaxed spot. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, making you wish your home looked like that. The food is delicious. Sparrows Lodge feels like a home away from home and can't be recommended enough!

Beautiful lodging with bicycles, fire place, fruit trees, complimentary breakfast, no under 21. I only didn't like the fact that pets are allowed, but for dungeons that had pets, its ideal. There is complimentary sangria at check in. Had a great time playing scrabble and hanging out by the pool. I loved that you can hang out in the pool and Jacuzzi after hours. Small yet lovely food selection. I really liked the meat and cheese plate. Perfect for a couple's getaway.

What a special dining experience! Intimate vibe and great decor. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell they really cared about making the dinner experience something truly special. I enjoy the communal seating and great food. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience in Palm Springs.

We had a fantastic three course dinner at the barn kitchen at Sparrows Lodge. A lovely salad with grilled apricots, followed by a roast chicken course with scalloped potatoes and really juicy grilled zucchini, tomatoes and other vegetables. The follow up of a chaser of port and a sinful dark chocolate brownie dressed with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was the perfect end. The staff were welcoming and wonderful, and the famity style dining in their lovely arbor made for a unforgettable dining experience.

Amazing hotel that feels very rustic. Brought my dog and she feels right at home. Nothing more relaxing than spending a hot summer day at the pool. Their breakfast has a good selection of eggs, toast and yogurt. I highly recommend staying here.

Adorable rustic hotel. Loved the small feel of it. The sage that they burn makes it smell amazing inside and out. Good food and drinks. Beautiful rooms. Would absolutely stay again. Note: Palm Springs is ridiculously hot in June.

We booked the Sparrows Lodge for Thanksgiving weekend. We arrived late on our first night so didn't get to see the whole property but loved the Tahoe lodge feel of the room. The next day we enjoyed the basic complementary breakfast while we took in the property. Very cool. We really enjoyed the vibe of this hotel — — super relaxed…

I cannot say enough about this property and our anniversary stay Jan 6-10! The attention to detail is amazing! From the complimentary sangria at check in to the fresh towel/cookie/water turn down service, it was a treat! The pool, hot tub & firepit are all first class along with the barn bar and great smells (incense) & music! The charming room with walk in shower was brilliant! Extremely enjoyable, 5 star, high class stay. Thank you!

What an exceptional stay at Sparrows this weekend! My husband and I had visited the property a few times prior and were excited to spend the weekend there for our third wedding anniversary! The property is meticulous and the attention to detail is incredible! We loved our back patio garden and literally spent almost every waking minute hanging by the pool! The long haired rockstar who works there (I think his name was Levi) was such a great host and made our stay extra memorable! Plus he recommended the burger which my husband is still talking about! — — I work partly in hospitality and this was an A+ experience all around — we are already talking about a winter trip!

It's so relaxing and beautiful! The staff are extremely professional and accommodating too! The food is amazing. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Would 100% definitely recommend it!
