Dear Rob, My family and I have been on vacation since the second week in June in States including Colorado, Nevada and California and Texas… staying in various hotels (from the Marriott to La Quinta to Comfort Suites) all of whom I have varying different rewards plans with… I must say that surprisingly, your hotel was the most pleasant, seamless stay of all and at a value that could not be beat! I loved the simple little updates to the room which added a bit of contemporary feel on a budget and for the value… I cannot express enough how impressed I was with my stay! Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to staying at one of your Motels again very soon!

Worst Motel 6 I've ever visited. I've slept in many, and have always been satisfied. You pay a little, you get a little. But this one is way over priced, isn't exactly near Palm Springs, and is crappy on many levels. Holes in the bed linens, the room stunk, it was tiny, TV controller was faulty. Nothing good to say. Sleep elsewhere.

Comfortable, Clean, and some what elegant. Enjoyed the stay in Cool comfort. Relaxed. Professional service I felt cared for.

Not impressed at all. The TV satellite kept going off and on all afternoon and night. The Wi-Fi connection (paid the $4.99), apparently the best they have was absolutely useless. This was the first place I have ever stayed that had NO closet, or rungs to hang anything on, and this fact was not revealed on the website or when I checked in. I actually saw prostitutes walking around the parking lot at nighttime too. Don't tell me they weren't, and don't say I imagined it or that I was wrong… they were there, propositioning people outside.

Only negative was someone opened our door at 6am. Discussed this with attendant upon checking out and he seemed suprised. Our room was 210 and the computer showed 110. I think the room might have been double booked. No problem! just strange!

Price was right fast service. Right off the freeway. Great place to have a good night sleep.

Convenient location and the staff were friendly. I didn't expect much from a motel 6, but the room was actually really clean and there weren't any issues with noise from other guests. Would recommend.

I do not live in the US, I live in the UK, but I can still make the comments. I had recommended you to a friend from the US and he stayed there too this year. Checking in took a long time, the receptionist did not seem aware of the system. As we were going to the Tennis at Indian Wells this took up valuable time.

We stayed here to be close to Indian Wells Tennis Garden. I've stayed at many Motel 6's around the country but this is probably the worst. The rooms are entered from the outside walkways, there is no lobby and no breakfast bar (all items obvious on the listing) but somehow I thought it would be better. I have to say the rooms were totally silent and the hotel was probably sold out. Soap, no shampoo, no hairdryer and no coffee pot and certainly no refrigerator — all minimal expectations for a one-night motel experience. The shower was hot, the room was clean, but outdated and small. The bed was comfortable enough, the TV and heater/AC worked fine. The ice machine worked. No problems with late check-in although we called to confirm that we were coming and would be late. So totally an average review.

The room was clean and modern. There was no smoke smell. I can always tell if there are prior smokers because I have a CPAP machine which concentrates the air when I sleep. However, there was no shampoo and no wash clothes. When I asked for shampoo at the desk, the clerk suggested I use the tiny bar of soap as shampoo. The room was made for one bed but 2 was inserted, leaving no room to get to the air conditioner. The bathroom sink water came out at a micro flow, so slow it would take three minutes to half fill a glass. The shower water, on the other hand, came out at an avalanche rate, so fast you could not stand to have it hit your skin. That was the only rate, off or painful. We were in 208. Perhaps you could fix those 2 water problems.

I was quoted one amount on the phone with confirmation number and was charged something higher during my stay. Actual site could not fix it and referred me to customer service. Who then referred me to another number. Which they could only document my complaint. THey could not honor the amount. They explained that they are only obligated to provide you with the cost of the first nights stay. They can charge whatever they want for any additional nights.

A Great Motel 6. It's not the Marriott! The 5-stars are for the hotel itself. The place was clean, and quiet. In fact I slept through the night with my two dogs with me. The never woke up either! The staff is really friendly, and they are right off the freeway next to plenty of places to eat.

Woke up at 3am to use the restroom and seen a roach in my bathtub. Having lived in Hawaii a little roach ain’t no big thing. Talked to the front desk in the morning about it. Even though the hotel was sold out and I was head out to an event. The staff got me another room and moved my luggage for me. When I came back later that evening the next shift was well aware off the issue and had my key waiting for me. The new room was a little larger and nice. Staff was very friendly. Neighbors were a bit noisy at 230am. Yes I would stay here again in a pinch or last minute trip.

Room was very basic but very clean, no carpet which helps tremendously, water is hot in the shower, everything worked great, and surprisingly quiet for how close it is to the major highway, couldn't hear it at night with the door closed. Staff was all attentive and pleasant, especially Armand at the front desk, made me feel like I was checking into a four-star hotel from the time I'd called to say we were running late but I needed to ensure a ground floor room until the time we were all safely arrived, checked in and he made sure we were happy with the room.

The best thing about this motel was the night clerk even though the room was clean and just what we hoped for. He came to check on early morning activity. We were leaving before sunrise and after I commented on wishing coffee was served earlier, he made a pot so we'd have some to begin the day's travel with. Never had such an accommodating motel employee … amazing. Thus, your motel gets 4 stars instead of 3.

Check in was great. Hotel clerk was very polite and respectful. Room was clean and room service was friendly.

Convenient to freeway. Towels were minimally adequate, we had to ask every day. And felt like sandpaper. Coffee was not good. The room was clearly newly remodeled, so that was nice, but the daily cleaning was less that thorough and skipped us because we did not jump out of the room when they were ready.

Shower head installed incorrectly, aimed at back wall of tub so even with curtain mist/splash caused VERY wet floor, had to cover with towels to take shower. I had no car, picked up daily by relative, so kept fresh fruit, cookies, soda, etc. In my room for breakfast and dinner/snacks — — was disappointed to find housekeeper was generous in helping herself to my food — — made me feel creepy about possible nosing around in suitcase although I did NOT see evidence of this — — was just a creepy feeling as food theft was so obvious… reported this to front office. Housekeeper did not leave washcloth on 2 days of my 4-night stay. Expected wakeup call my last morning as I had an early plane flight, no call — — later when I went to call taxi I found the phone not working although I had used the day before. Found that the connector to back of phone was broken and was just "resting" in place (had fallen out) instead of being "snapped" into place. Appreciated morning coffee, but wish it was "in-room", not having to shower/dress first in order to get coffee. Appreciated friendly desk staff. Cable TV offered MANY channels, more than I've run into before at hotels/motels.

Love the beautiful room! Cleanest, prettiest motel room I've stayed in in years. Big problem was the mattress. Most uncomfortable mattress I've EVER attempted to sleep on! Made for a rough night and a sore back during the next day's driving.

Not bad for a Motel 6… Clean, bed was a good size and liked the fact that the room didn't smell like smoke. Been to rooms that are non-smoke and when you walk in that's the first thing you smell, glad this wasn't the case. I would definitely stay there again if needed.

No shampoo. I spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up with a towel, the towel was filthy afterwards. Only one wash cloth. I think my basic complains were with the housekeeping staff. The rest was as I expected for a Motel 6. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were decent. The A/C worked well.

It was easy to check in, the woman who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. The first room they put me in the TV didn't work, but when I called they put me into another room right away and the TV was fine. Microwave accessible near the office. All clean. Good Sleep. I asked to be on the 2nd floor and they honored my request.

Clean& recently remodeled. Must have recently fumigated as there were a couple of beetles on the floor. No carpet so easier to see it was clean. There are handicapped rooms on bottom floor and good ice machines. Staff was friendly as heck good job.

I stay here on trips from N. California to Phoenix. I usually have a lot of stuff I dont want to leave in the car so I ask for a certain room where I can easily unload and reload my car. Once again they made sure I had a room that made my stay easy. The price is right (Local tax is a bit high but no fault of Motel 6) Easy off and on from I-10 Nice Mexican place next door with drive through and other stores close.

Our stay for one night was fine. Room was nice as expected. Service consistent with what we expect from Motel 6. Price at $90. Per night was high to me. She said it was because it was the weekend. Desk clerk was nice, but it would be even better if she acted as if she was happy that we came to stay.

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to spend the night and this Motel 6 was in a good location for us. The room, beds and bathrooms were all satisfactory. We arrived too late (and too tired) to use the pool. I thought the website said there was a breakfast included, but only coffee was available. All-in-all, our stay was satisfactory and I would consider returning again next year.

We made our reservations and were delighted with both the price and the updated suite we found upon our arrival. We requested and received a non-smoking room, on the ground-floor. It was clean and well maintained. I'll definitely stay there again if I need accommodations in the area.

Dirty bathroom floor. Sheets and blankets stained. Hair on the pellow. They don't provide shampoo, you have to pay for it out of a vending machine.

I liked the room, it was clean and well kept. The room service was good as well and worked around my schedule. The location was convenient because it is close to many restaurants and stores. My only complaint is that there was no free Wi-Fi (had to pay a decent amount) and no fridge, but I guess that is to be expected in motel 6.

Most expensive motel 6 I have ever stayed at and you have to pay extra for internet. Also, They only have tiny course towels and one was dirty. Smallest room I've seen as well.

The Motel 6 in Palm Desert was very modernized. It was a simple compact room and the hotel staff was very helpful.

Room appeared to be very clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I'll start with the fact that there are roaches. The beds are like sleeping on hay bales. The water pressure is annoying; it's either to hard or to soft. There's a smal CRT TV with basic cable that needs to be Degaussed (the screen is discolored). The linens are stained, and the wash cloths and towels are like sand paper. The pool is open from 9 a. M. To 9 p. M, not that from the looks of it you would want to swim in it. Wi-Fi is a joke here; it's three dollars a day for half a megabit speed. None of the staff seems to care about any of these issues or the customers. Sleep in your car, and spend the $72 on a nice massage somewhere. Or another hotel. There is no fridge or freezer; I don't know what "Chip Conrad" was talking about. On top of that, as per the response below, they want me to work for them by calling a complaint line rather than just recording the review themselves.

Good price. Dog-friendly. Quick drive into Palm Desert or Palm Springs. Very clean room, with fridge (plus freezer) and microwave. Small room, but plenty of room for the big, comfortable bed. Slight room noise from neighbors, but nothing bad. Other guests were friendly. Shopping and food nearby.
