Stayed one night. Checked out, an hour after heading north I realized I had left my brand new Bluetooth headphones. I called and the person at the front desk was very unhelpful. Said all I could do was come back and check the room. Since, I was working that would not be possible right away. I called again that afternoon and the lady said she’ll check the lost and found and call me back. Took my number and I never received that return call. I finally made it back the next day. Lady at front said she’d check the lost and found. In my cynical state at that time I didn’t expect my item to make it to “the box”. They were not there as expected. My headphones were stolen and nobody seemed to care. I opened a complaint case. In a matter of a couple hours I received an email that they are closing the case and that was the end of it. I totally blame myself for leaving the phones behind. However, I do have an issue with thieves and companies who don’t care that their paying customers are being ripped off. This was handled poorly. They gave me the impression like I should just let it go and forget about it. The whole time I was and would continue to be 100% calm about this. It’s not end of the world but its the principal that matters to me. If you’re looking at somewhere to stay, don’t pick Days Inn. We should not reward selfish, inconsiderate and callous businesses.

Great motel to stop by on your way along the west coast drive. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.

Good price, clean rooms, polite front desk. This is a pretty nice place considering the area. They've done a lot with this property I'm happy with it especially for the cost.

Wifi drops every 2 minutes and is always at 2 bars, theres stains on my white towels in the bathroom, yes I have regrets today for paying 70 dollars for March. To me Wi-Fi is crucial for business. I was even moved to a different room for better Wi-Fi connection and it still is super poor.

For the price, it's not bad. Rooms are small, but the key is that AT THIS PRICE POINT, you get a decent bang for the buck. Reasonable breakfast, a pretty recently renovated room, that seemed very clean, access to a pool, and parking close by. Luxury? No. Big fluffy towels? No. Economy yes. A few quirk's… the lack of electrical outlet to use to charge a cellphone was an issue, as I actually had to move a piece of furniture to unplug the microwave to get to an outlet. Similarly, the pillows on the bed were 4 square pillows, like one might find on a couch in pillow cases, as opposed to the typical oblong pillows that are more common.

I stayed I Day's inn for 2 night. Very clean and good size room. I recommend this place. If I am in this area for sure I will stay here.

I’m an airline pilot and for me the Days Inn Santa Maria is one of my frequent layovers. I enjoy staying here because the owners are very friendly, quick to engage you in a conversation, and provide helpful suggestions as to where the good spots are to eat and sightsee. They are attentive to detail and their service and cleanlisness is superb.

It was a good basic place to stay. Breakfast isn't much, the beds are hard, the shower is the low flow waterfall kind, and the hot water takes forever to get hot.

My first time to stay, I enjoy staying here the room are super clean, no smell all the staffs that I meet are very helpful, nice and free breakfast not bad you cann't bet, this Days Inn I recommend to travelers A-1.

Decent spot in Santa Maria located near a few restaurants and a service station. Breakfast was pretty standard with cereals and fruit. It wasn't too bad. Rooms are also pretty standard with average beds but very strange pillows. Pillows weren't too comfy. Overall what you should expect for a motel stay.

1. We got double charged by the manager on the cc and he said nothing 2. Rooms are super Small for the price u pay. 3. TV didn't work. 4. Curtains where broke 5. Broken lamps. Now having said that. If this was for 2 people it's ok anything more don't. The room is so tiny only one person can walk around. Had to call the manager to get the TV to work. This should be check when prepping the room for new guests. Now I have stayed all around this town due to family living here and this is the one of the lowest end rooms I have had. Also it was more expensive than a hotel down the street. The motel down the street has bigger rooms nicer bathrooms and is a better value. The manager is a nice guy and you get a better rate if you call him directly. Not sure why he ran our card twice but he should have told us.

Horrible customer service, Rooms are very small… We called to get a 30 min. Checkout extension And we were basically told to pay right away, or get out. We paid $25 for an extra 30min. Extension You better get out befor 11am if you dont want to get charged with a $25 dollar fee + a free RUDE attitude bonus from the manager.

Not a bad spot to stay for a night. Wouldn't recommend any weekly trips. Located on a pretty busy street and you can hear all the cars passing by. On a positive note, it's not too far from shopping centers.

Hotel itself seemed to be in good condition, and I liked that it was located in the middle of the city, but the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The street traffic was also pretty noisy. It just didn't seem like a relaxing place to stay.

A one night stay. Very pleasant with no loud "neighbors". Easy on/off the freeway.

A place to sleep. They price gouge on holidays. Go have breakfast at McDonalds or something. This is a $70 per night place at best but goes for $180 on holidays.

Hair is all over the bathroom when we checked in and hair dryer doesn't work. Wonder if their TV works. And their continental breakfast has noting! If I could give them a minus I would. Terrible!

Aimie, the check in agent in evenings is awesome. She's very knowledgeable about where to eat. She is s quick and so polite always. Unlike the lady in the day time who acts like a know it all and is rude.

Not a great location. Room was tiny. Internet kept disconnecting from my devices making me input user name and password multiple times throughout the day. Frumpy night clerk.

We stayed in a room with two full sized beds. Room was clean but extremely small, convenient location (just off the highway), continental breakfast was limited to just a few items.

Wow! My Daughter booked the room on line and when She arrived to check in found out you cannot get a room there if you are under 21. The Person at the front desk was so rude about it and offered no help to My Daughter. Days Inn should state the age limit clearly before a guest drives 350 miles to get there to be at a Friends Graduation. I've stayed at Many Days Inn Motels and never knew they had an age limit. This was my Daughters first road trip on Her own. Really upset that the Person at the front desk couldn't offer Her an alternative. Instead She just turned My daughter away. I don't want to give this Days Inn a star at all, but it won't let Me post it without a single star.

Quiet breakfast and cheap and very clean respectful.

No place to plug in a phone charger need to move the bed being able to connect the phone and the rooms are too small.

Don't expect too much, this is a no frills hotel. The room was moderately clean, small, and had thin walls. The beds looked and felt clean and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and free parking. The area seemed relatively safe. Breakfast was limited with yogurt, croissants, fruits, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, and milk; Denny's is just right down the street. Just a short drive from the 101 makes it easy to find. Located a short driving distance from Trader Joe's, Costco, Walmart, Target. All in all, a decent place to stay if you're on a small budget and just need a place to sleep for the night out by the coast.

Good Motel, everything is correct.

PROS: Great bedroom design. Clean overall. Nice location — Market place and good restaurants around. Near Town center mall. CONS: The Shower sucks. There is no water force from the shower. Takes a while to clean shampoo off the head. The AC was not good quality and it doesn't do a good job of cooling.

Wonderfull stay. I would reccomend Days Inn to everyone. Rebekah at the front office was an awesome host. She truly made sure that I had a great experience while I stayed there.

Terrible experience, guy at front desk with tattoo on his ear was very rude! Our room had trash from a previous person, there was food in the refrigerator and microwave, we had no curtain in our restroom it was clearly not cleaned before they gave us the room. I drove 5 hrs was very exhausted all I wanted to do is test and that why I didn't ask for another room, very expensive I will never stay at another days inn.
